Ava just finished packing her last bag up from her room, today was the day they would be heading to New York. She was excited for a freah new start but she was also nervous, this would be her first time living away from home but she was ready. Four of her friends would be coming with her, each going for tbeir own reason.

Picking up her phone she sent a text to her friends

To:Everyone
From: Ava
Packing up the jeep now, will meet everyone at Lens place.

They all decided to take two cars instead of just one even though she dis have a uhaul connected to the jeep. It would be Cammie, Benny, and her in the jeep and Chris and Len in their car. She put her shoes on and grabbed her last bag and took one last look at her room then headed downstairs.Her father and sister had to go to work early so she already said goodbye to them

She took out her video camera and faced it to herself "Well looks like its time to start another chapter of my life, have a whole summer before I start college. Now to go pick up the others." She walked outside and got into her ford wrangler jeep and started to drive down the road. She couldnt stop thinking about Cammie...shes been wanting to be more open about their relationship but Cammie just isnt ready for that and its been putting a strain on their relationship lately. Maybe ill try talking to her again when we get into New York she thought to herself.

She had the radio on and was singing along to the music when she turned right and then took a left in Len's driveway and honked the horn. Hopefully they would all get here soon because they had a long drive ahead of them, but luckily they all would take turns driving. She got out of the car with her video camera in hand and leaned against the jeep as she waited for the others.

Cameron had just hopped out the shower and wrapped a towel around herself, when she got a text from her lovely girlfriend.

To:Everyone
From: Ava
Packing up the jeep now, will meet everyone at Lens place.

She instantly replied back as she walked to her closet to pick out an outfit.

From: Cammie
On my way! CANT WAIT!

She sent it and looked through her closet. Since most of her clothes were packed she decided to wear her orange shirt and her black skinny jeans.. Once she got that on she took the time to color her nails orange and give herself black eye shadow with some hints of orange in it. She went to her jewelry box and grabbed her black feathered earrings and put them on. When Cammie finished she looked in the mirror and smiled at her reflection. "Cam! We have to go. How long does it take to pack girl things." She rolled her eyes. "Give me a minute will ya!" She yelled and slipped on her orange converse and went downstairs with her suitcases. Cam looked at Chris expectantly. "Well aren't you gonna help me?" She exclaimed as she made her way to her favorite car, the Hummer.

Cameron smiled when Chris took her bags "AWWWWWW! Feeling the love bro!" She squealed but he just ignored her. "Mom's gonna take pictures anyways!" She yelled and their mom can=me just in time. She laughed at Chris who obviously didn't want to take pictures. "Wasn't gonna get out of it Chris." She said and posed for the picture. Chris grew annoyed and stopped the little photo shoot they were having. She rolled her eyes. "Fine let's go. Bye mom and dad!" She yelled and went to the passenger side of the hummer. She strapped her seat belt and leaned her head against the window growing more excited every moment. When they drove up next to Ava's jeep Lennie was already pumped to see them, Chris to be exact. "Hi to you to Lennie." She said playfully being sarcastic. She got out the car and stretched. She went to Ava's jeep and got in. She hugged Ava lovingly. "Hi." She purred in Ava's ear so the others couldn't hear.

Chris was happy to get out of the house. It seemed like they were never going to leave. Once they got to Len's house, Cam got out of the car said hi to everyone and got in the car with Ava. "I would love to get your stuff Cam." He said sarcastically. He shook his head and got out of the car. He opened the trunk and pulled Cam's stuff out of it. She had more things than was necessary.

Once her stuff was out of the car he went over to his loving boyfriend. He pulled him in a loving embrace and then kissed his cheek. "Hi my love." He said in his ear. He then waved hello to his second mother. He was very close to Lennie's family just like he was close to his. "Oh. My mom says hi and she will be sending your mother pictures very soon." He mentioned to Len.

Of course Ava decided to rush them. "Damn it Ava. Don't rush us." Even though they had a whole car ride together, this is the last time he would see his other mother. He was going to take all the time he needed.

Cammie couldn't help but giggle and blush red when Ava kissed her cheek. She turned back to Chris and Lenny and rolled her eyes. "Come on lovebirds were going to go pick up Benny." Cammie turned back around and reached over Ava to push the trunk button. after she successfully pushed the button she got of Ava and went to get her bags that were on the floor behind Ava's car. She lifted the trunk up and put her suitcases in so they would fit. "To Benny's house!" She chanted and went back to the front of the car.

Cammie sighed when Ava asked if they could talk. She knew it was going to be about their relationship. She just wasn't ready to open up to the world and she wasn't going to talk about it either. Last time they talked about it, they were mad at each other for a week. She sighed in relief when Benny came. Now Cammie didn't have to go through the car ride alone. Cammie rolled down the window and stuck her head and waved at Benny. "What's up Benny!" She smiled glad he could make it on time.

Chris rolled his eyes at Len and walked into the chinese restaurant. He just caught on to the fact that Len had used his guilt trip so that Chris had to pay for dinner. It was no big deal, but seeing Len play innocent was hilarious. As they walked through the door and walked into the very small line, Chris was figuring out what to order. His eyes scanned the menu and he found orange chicken, white rice, and broccoli meal. He always ordered that. That was his all time favorite chinese food meal. Then he would buy a Dr. Pepper for a drink.

Chris nodded and order the Wonton Soup and Chris' favorite orange chicken meal. He grabbed a water bottle for Len and a Dr. Pepper can for himself. People were looking at them strange, but Chris didn't really care. They obviously have never seen a cute gay couple before. He was happy to show them. They had to wait a moment for the food and while they were waiting Chris politely and cunningly smiled at the people that stared at them.
