Renn Cohen

"I cannot feel. Is that bad?"

a character in “We Shall Live”, as played by Sky Ash

Renn Cohen

Physical Spot 5

She can create hallucinations and illusions and cause people to feel numbness, heaviness, or a change in temperature. (it's generally an underdeveloped form of mind control but it doesn't affect a person's thoughts, reasoning, or will.)

Side Effects/Drawbacks to power
She herself can't feel anything. No warmth, cold, fatigue, pain, touch. She's also incapable of feeling pity, mean-spiritedness, fear, happiness, sadness, or anger and etc. No, not even love. If you poke her, she won't notice. If you put an iron on her face, she won't feel pain. If you break her heart, she won't realise. Heck she won't even know she was in love with you.
Length of time in the camp
Two and a 1/2 years

*Without the ears, of course.

Pros: She's open-minded, creative, responsible and loyal. She's also honest. She will do everything she can to fulfill her duty. If she can't do it, she'll just try to make it possible for her to do it.
Cons: She's like a robot. She doesn't show any emotion. Not pain, or fear, or love. She's way too serious about everything, so if she says "you better clean up your room, or else I'll break your legs", you'd better just do it. She has a bad habit of stealing things, but always returns them as soon as she touches what she stole.

Her parents were killed in the bombing. She was an only child. Renn doesn't really know any of her relatives or whether any of them had survived. She lived alone for 2 and 1/2 years before finding the encampment. Most people didn't like her because they thought she was slow or stupid. She didn't feel or act the way others did, so she didn't have any response when they hit her or tried to scare her. Renn would've felt sad over this if she could feel. She was trusted more than others by half of those in the encampment, but was watched constantly by the other half. She hasn't done anything that would prove herself to be trustworthy, neither has she done anything to convince others that she isn't.

Her nickname is "Tin Man". You know, the same Tin Man from "The Wizard of Oz".
She needs to find a cure to her inability to feel. (I'd say "wants to find" but she doesn't have any feelings...)

So begins...
