Heterosexual

|Personality|

Dylan is incredibly impatient. He hates waiting around for anything. He likes to live in the moment so anything that doesn’t happen instantaneously is pretty much a no go for him. When he wants something, he can be a bit of a stubborn kid about it and always wants it immediately. Dylan knows this is a weak point of his and he’s working on being more patient but he still has a long way to go. This also means things like small talk piss him off and he refuses to partake. So either get to the point or leave Dylan alone before you get him in a bad mood.

Dylan is notorious for his bad moods. For people who don’t know him, in a bad mood he just seems like a very grouchy and arrogant person. When he’s pissed off, which is frequently, everyone knows because a dark cloud seems to follow him around turning every interaction with him in a confrontation. Since maturing a little he has gotten better at dealing with his bad moods, but it is still very easy to put him in a bad one.

Dylan likes to live without commitments, he hates feeling boxed in. Whether physically or metaphorically. Dylan’s answer to everything is maybe, which means most likely, he just wants to reserve the right to back out at any moment. He hates the idea of not having control and feeling forced to do anything. Dylan is all about freedom. Freedom of choice, freedom of expression. Anyone gets in the way of him being himself and they’ll find themselves at the bad end of one of his moods.

Despite all his flaws, Dylan is actually an incredibly friendly guy if you catch him at the right time. Without a bad mood hovering about he is nice, friendly and even a little bit funny, all the thing you’d want in a friend. He is also always honest with his friends, probably even more so when it is a harsh truth they need to hear. He is also loyal, he won’t stand to have anyone talk bad about his friends or take advantage of them. Dylan is not afraid to make enemies, and that counts doubly when it comes to matters involving his friends.

|History|

Dylan’s mother was only 19 when she had him to a guy she didn’t even know, and when he was three years old she took off leaving him in the care of her older sister, his Aunt, Mads.

She raised Dylan as her own, though she had a really free spirited approach to being a mother and life in general. She was an artist/hairdresser/musician/whatever got the bills paid, growing up his aunt never had a lot of money and at periods of time struggled to make ends meet. Dylan’s aunt’s love for all things artsy cause him to try almost everything, from painting to pottery, the only thing he ever stuck with though was music. He learnt to play all kind of instruments. He eventually became more focused on playing drums. In High school he started a band called Soundless September with like minded people. Dylan never really thought much of it, it was just a hobby that he did for fun, he had never dreamed of actually making it.

At the end of high school though, when his band was signed to record label it was like a dream come true. Next thing he knew he was packing his bags and leaving with his band, his highschool sweetheart, Cash coming along with him. There were a hard years, and if him and his mates weren’t already close they became even closer. They were the siblings he never had growing up. Together through thick and thin. A few hit songs later and Soundless September had made it to the top of the music world. That's when things started to fall apart.

Dylan, who never had any money growing up, was overwhelmed with he options and lifestyle that came with being a rockstar. Drinking, drugs, women. He became corrupted. He'd show up to meetings, rehearsals and even gigs late and drunk/high. He had no respect or care for his bandmates. Him and his girlfriend Cash had always been a dysfunctional couple, they were either all over each other or screaming and throwing things at each. They broke up practically every second day. Until one very drunken night they got married in Las Vegas. They stayed married just long enough for Cash to find herself pregnant with a baby boy.

Then the band broke up and everything came crashing down around Dylan. He continued partying on for another year or so after the break up, but eventually he ran out of friends and fans to party with. Then Cash was going on her honeymoon with her new husband and Dylan was left with a kid and no one around. So he went back home, to his Aunt's place. He sobered up and learned how to be a good father to his kid. Now he's closed that chapter of his life and just starting to get back to who he was before the fame got to his head.

Dylan sighed as he looked up at the Green Records building. He had to squint at the sun reflected off the excess glass and metal. The building towered above its surrounding buildings and even had a tacky 'Richardson Records' sign in lights across the building. Soundless September had been the first band Monty Richardson had signed when he was still working out of his ex-wife's basement. In Dylan's mind, fame and success ruined everyone and Monty was no different. Back then he had been awkward and pathetically devoted to his dream. Now he was a success hungry douche bag who cared about no one.

Dylan crossed the busy intersection and entered the building. He pulled his hood back and took out his blaring ear phones. He walked up to the receptionist with bright red hair and perfectly manicured fingers. Her name plaque said her name was Mandy and she was here to help. Except she wasn't. Instead she was chatting away on her headset. Then when Dylan tried to say something she stuck a finger up in the air to stop him. Finally she finished conversation and turned to look at Dylan. "I'm here to see Monty,"
Dylan said gruffly. Then when she frowned, he added, "Monty Richardson."

Her frown deepened as she looked over Dylan's ripped jeans and beanie with a judgmental eye. Dylan had done his best to change his looks since the band split up so he wouldn't be recognized. "We don't take walk ins," She said disdainfully, "We have a few open days a year to recruit new talent, You'll have to come to one of those if your looking for representation." She slid a flier over the bench to Dylan then went back to tapping away on her keyboard.

Dylan sighed angrily. He didn't even want to be here in the first place. Taking the flier and deliberately ripping it up in the receptionists face, he leaned in. "I'm Dylan Green and I'm expected."

She looked up at Dylan with a glare before slowly looking back at her computer and tapping a few buttons. Then her face flushed red. "Oh, I'm so sorry. It seems you are expected." She jumped up with an awkward smile. "Come with me." She took Dylan past the receptionist desk towards the elevator and up to floor seventeen. They walked down a long corridor and eventually she brought him to a small lounge. "Mr. Richardson will be out to see you soon. Can I get you anything, lime water?" She asked politely, clearly keen to make up for earlier so he wouldn't complain about her to her boss.

"Just go," Dylan said bluntly as he took a seat on of the couches in the lounge. He picked up a magazine off the coffee table but after turning a few pages dropped it immediately. He really didn't need to know what color lipstick would make his eyes pop. His eyes turned to the tv in the corner. Though his scowl deepened when he saw it was a 'where are they now' type show that was doing a piece on Soundless September.

"Now there were records of some infighting among band members. However is came as a shock to the entire show biz world when during the middle of a live show they broke out into a fight." The Announcer said over video footage from that very show. Dylan had seen the footage of this fight many, many times. The moment he saw himself throw a fist he looked away. He couldn't block out the voice though. "Security was forced to drag the members off the stage and away from each other. After that their Manager, Monty Richardson announced in a press release that the rest of the tour was cancelled. The band Soundless September was never to be seen together again. Hard to believe its been five years today since one of music's biggest heavyweights just disappeared."

Dylan found the remote for the TV and switched it off. Was it really the five year anniversary of the band breaking up today? A few weeks ago Monty had called him up out of the blue and said that it was of extreme importance that he show up to a meeting today. It couldn't really have anything to do with Soundless September could it?

Augustus had just finished his second world tour ever since becoming a solo artist. Though if he were being honest with himself, he did miss Soundless September but things were better this way. After that fight onstage things were never the same again. Though it was just like Soundless September, they came into the world with a bang and left the same way. Though he not once ever expected to get a call from Monty. He was asked to meet with him at the Green Records building in order to discuss some very important details about his career. Augustus just hoped it had nothing to do with Soundless September. But of course with Monty in the picture, it most likely was.

Augustus climbed out of his limousine and pushed through crowds of people asking for his autograph, asking for pictures, etc. Right now he wasn't in the best of moods to deal with anything right now. All he could seem to think about was whatever this meeting was for. Augustus had a feeling this situation would cause a rise in the media about him ignoring his fans, etc. but at this moment he could care less.

The male entered the building just in time to notice a woman take a seat behind the front desk. He glanced down at the plaque on her desk to find that her name was Mandy. August stepped up to her with an emotionless look upon his face and cleared his throat. "Here to see Monty," he stated just as the woman glanced up from her computer screen to see him standing in front of her desk. "Ah, Augustus Canavan. Please, follow me," she stated as she then stood back to her feet and led him through the building towards the lounge area. "Please, have a seat and Monty will be out with you shortly," she stated before leaving his presence.

Just as Augustus entered the lounge he sighed when he spotted Dylan sitting on one of the couches. "What a pleasure it is to see you here," he stated in a sarcastic tone as he took a seat on the opposite side of the couch and propped his feet up on the table in front of him.

The loud put of the small car simmers into a low hum as the looming building of Green Records comes into view. The drive into the city had been short, yet crowded with traffic. Adeline had been forced to hitch a ride from her neighbor, a Soundless September fan who could not let her past go, even after Addy had asked her to quit it with the band talk. "Wow, is this the place? It's huge!" Jackie shrieks, causing Adeline to flinch and grimace at her sudden outburst. The girl next to her smiles widely, peering up at the enormous building. Adeline doesn't take the time to study the scenery as she waste no time gathering her stuff, ready to be out of the presence of the girl who had been a nuisance ever since she moved into her small apartment. A step she had been forced to take when she came back from her stay in Italy, to find that her aunt no longer occupied the house they had once loved in.

"Alright, I've got to go. Thanks. Bye." Adeline rushes, her words barely making it past her closed mouth as she scrambles out onto the sidewalk and towards the building. The sound of screaming and excited voices causes her to slow. A crowd of people stood around the entrance of the building. Addy stops taking the time to slip her hood over her head in attempts to not be recognized. She really did not want to find some story about her visiting Monty and wanting a career again splashed on the front cover of some magazine. Pushing, her way through the crowd she keeps her eyes on the ground.

"How long do you think it will take him to come out?"

"I don't know, we'll have to wait and see. I'll tell Thomas to bring us some tacos.

The end bits of a conversation reach Adeline's ears as she finally enters the lobby, away from the group of people who she suspected were fans. Of who, she was unsure and frankly she really didn't care. She hadn't come for all of that. She had come because Monty had asked.

Adeline gazes around the lobby taking in the spacious room. Monty had actually done really well, even without Soundless September playing for him. Everything in the place looked pristine and polished, a striking comparison to the dusty basement he had once occupied. But, she guessed, his eyes had been bright then, and it was enough to light up the place. Now, everything seemed too expensive, like he was trying to get some sort of light from it.

Making her way further into the building, Addy allows her oak brown hair to escape from under her grey hood and fall over her shoulders. Her hazel eyes lock in on the empty front desk. A name tag reading the name Mandy was the only thing indicating that a person did indeed own that desk.

"Well where are you Mandy?" Adeline mumbles, walking up to the desk. Her eyes sweep over the few pictures of a dog, before she reaches for a magazine on the corner of her desk, fully prepared to wait. The sound of someone clearing their throat halts her actions.

"Oh sorry..." Adeline trails off straightening up and away from the desk. A women in a tight pencil skirt and bright red hair stands with her hands tightly clasped together as if she was trying to find her patience between her fingers.

"Are you also here to see Mr.Richardson?" The lady asks giving her an obviously forced smile.

"Yep...you guessed it." Adeline nods chewing on her bottom lip. How many appointments had Monty scheduled at once?

"Alright Ms....

"Adeline Pratt."

"Follow me Ms.Pratt.

Adeline nods tugging at the sleeve of her jacket. She follows the annoyed receptionist onto an elevator, watching as the lady pressed the button for seventeen.

"You know your names are really similar. Monty, Mandy." Adeline gives a lip twitch, rotating her fingers around each other.

The lady only gives a strangled laugh, immediately escorting Addy off the elevator and leaning her towards a small lounge.

"Just come get me if you guys need anything. Mr.Richardson will be with you shortly." With that the lady left, allowing Adeline to finally turn and see the two men who also occupied the lounge. Dylan Green and Augustus Canavan.
Fuck, she thought this was a one on one meeting.

"Well if it isn't my two favorite assholes." Adeline breathes holding back her surprise. She blinks rapidly as she takes in two of the few people she actually had in this world. Despite her lack of contact with them since the nasty breakup of Soundless September, Adeline would still take a bullet for any of the former band members. And, she could honestly say she was over all that stupid shit that had shattered all of them in their youth.

The famous smile, that was actually just short of a smile pulls at Addy's lips, not offering teeth, but enough for someone to recognize her happiness.

"Green." Adeline teases lightly, her eyes lighting with amusement as she takes in his attire. She stops above his chair leaning down slightly to push at his shoulder in a greeting, debating on whether she should go for a hug or not. She hadn't seen this guy in forever, fuck it, he could get mad at her later if he wanted. Bringing an arm around him she hugs him for a brief moment before pulling back. "How's my baby boy?" She asks a serious tone entering her usual emotionless voice, as she refers to Dylan's kid. She hadn't been much a part of either of their lives for the past five years, but she still cared about Dylan and the son she could only hope he had ended up being a father to. If not, she was prepared to kick his ass.

Stepping away from Dylan she makes her way to Augustus, stepping over his legs to plop down next to him. "So, those were your fans down there...Auggie?" Addy pulls him into an awkward side hug, purposely using his fan created nickname as she releases him, giving the man who had been the reason she even started enjoying music an actual smile.

"So is this a reunion or some stupid shit? If so, where's our girl Jude?

ImageJude grimaced as her stomach began turning into strange acrobatic contortions just at the sight of Green Records, her old label when she was first signed to Soundless September one year shy of a decade ago. A lot had changed since then, for starters she was 17 and homeless when she found out that the small time garage band would be pushed into the spotlight. Now she was a 26 year old woman who was well versed in fame and lived a very charmed life because of the bands success that afforded her a 3,000k dollar a month 1 bedroom apartment in Hells Kitchen, Manhattan. She could've lived grander in a penthouse or mini mansion if she budgeted well enough but coming from her history of having nothing she knew that she didn't want to end having nothing again, so she budgeted and was satisfied with her upper-middleclass life.

Jude readjusted the black short faux fur coat that she wore draped over her shoulders and made her way into the huge skyscraper that Monty now called his headquarters.
Seems like a lot has changed for him as well, this is certainly nothing like his Ex-Wife's basement, Jude thought as she made her way through the glass double doors and into the lobby where a very Mad Man-esque red head sat taking phone calls and typing frantically into a computer in front of her almost on a perfect loop except for the pauses she'd take sporadically to sip at her coffee or sneakily text on her cellphone.

Jude smiled as she approached the woman, and requested to see Monty.

"Jude Saintclaire, right? Welcome back to Green Records! My Daughters love you, I mean I don't really get it myself but, hey to each their own, right? Anyways, Monty's office will be on the 17th floor of the building, just head over to the elevator right in that direction." She said as she pointed her perfectly manicured nail past Jude and towards the elevator that pinged loudly as a flock of business big wigs exited with the briefcases and espresso shots in hand.

"Uhh okay, thank you!" Jude said with an awkward smile fading onto her face from the seemingly backhanded comment from the secretary and began walking off to the elevator.

"Sweetie, wait a second! Mind if I take a picture?" The lady called loudly across the expanse of the room, not really seeming to mind that she may have just woken up the whole population of China with her booming holler.

"No of course not." Jude said as she walked back over to the woman and took a few posed selfies before she finally got on the elevator and took the elevator up into the nosebleeds of the building, the seventeenth floor. Stepping out of the elevator and onto the floor Judith assed the place with wide eyes, it seemed the whole seventeenth floor belonged to Monty just to be used as his office space, and it was absolutely immaculate. Jude took a deep breath before crossing into the threshold of the waiting area to have a seat and discuss what business Monty wanted her here for after 5 years of the band being disbanded. She was just hoping desperately that it wasn't a law suit or some type of loophole her lawyers had missed about her rights to her music or ability to produce her own music as a solo artist. But the thoughts fell to ashes and Jude stopped dead in her tracks before turning the corner hearing a familiar sound wave flow through her ears followed by two more unforgettable voices...

Is that who I think it is...? Did he call us all here...? A stream of questions ran through Jude's head as she considered her options here. She wanted nothing more than to turn back and avoid the drama and unfavorable company, but she knew that that was childish. Teenage Jude would've greatly favored the idea as well and probably would've been calling the elevator at this very moment. You can do this girl, stand your ground and just breathe. It's been five years the tension can't still be that high. Jude convinced herself as she took a deep breath and crossed the threshold.

Crossing into the room Judith tried to sit in the list awkward position possible, so she appraised a seat between the boys that didn't exactly put her right next to them. Despite her strategic planning it was still awkward so she chose to stand instead to the right of Addy. And the room was extremely tense there was no denying it, but it seemed like Addy with her exciting and sarcastic personality was trying to start a conversation between everyone. Maybe she could say something to lessen her nerves?

"Dylan. Augustus. Adeline. Nice to see you again." She said with a curt nod towards them all as she looked in their directions. She mentally face palmed herself for the greeting. Oh my God, that couldn't have sounded any stupider, they could see through that from a mile away!... Where the hell is Monty?? Someone please get me out of here, now would be a GREAT time for my manager to call and nag me about picking up more tour dates or something.

Just when he thought this awkward situation was going to eventually build up into Dylan and himself fighting again, Adeline showed up, cleansing the silence. The male gave her a soft smile. It's been years since he had seen her and she looked just as good as she had those five years ago. Back then he had the biggest crush on her and he actually missed his best friend but since Soundless September broke up, their relationship nearly became nonexistent.

"Most likely. They followed me here and are probably waiting for me to leave," he answered as he hugged Adeline back just as the three of them were greeted by none other than Judith Saintclaire. The girl Dylan was trying to have replace Adeline as lead singer. Augustus does still have a bit of a grudge against Dylan and Jude about that situation but he wasn't going to egg that on. What has been done is done and there is no going back and changing it.

August glanced over at the female as she spoke to the three of them but did nothing more than give her an acknowledging nod and returned all attention back to Adeline. "So what happened to you after the break up?" he questioned, trying to figure out exactly what was going on in his former best friend. Augustus hoped she still considered the two of them friends even though they hadn't exactly spoke to each other in years, but he wasn't going to hold his breath on it. If there were anything he knew for a definite fact about Addy, it would be that she is one of the most unpredictable people he had ever met in his life.

Augustus trailed his eyes around the room, even glanced over at his former band mates every once in a while. Where are you Monty? This is becoming extremely awkward and the tension is already building, he thought to himself as he finally centered his attention on the wall in front of him.

Dylan was tapping a beat on his thigh when the door to the lounge opened. He looked up expecting to see Monty but saw none other than August. The disgust was evident on his face. Of fucking course this was about Soundless September. Monty had sworn on the phone it had nothing to with Dylan's old band, but in his success Monty had grown two-faced. Dylan was going to give it to him when he finally was ready to see them.

"What a pleasure it is to see you here," August said sarcastically as he took a seat.

Dylan rolled his eyes and said with a scowl. "The feelings mutual. Sellout." Dylan had heard the produce of August's solo career. If you could call it that. His songs were all over the radio. It made Dylan sick. August hadn't even pretended to be remorseful for the band breaking up. He'd pretty much jumped into the limelight as a solo performer, clearly he'd never been happy playing second fiddle to Addy on the vocals.

The two had just settled in with Addy arrived. "Green." She greeted teasingly as she went in for a hug. Dylan awkwardly returned it wishing she hadn't gone for it. Hadn't too much happened between, hadn't it been too long for hugs? When she leaned back though, he found himself glad she had gone for the hug. "Pratt." He returned her greeting, equally teasing.

"How's my baby boy?" She asked in a more serious tone of voice.

Dylan smiled up at her, his gruff disposition leaving for the first time since entering Green Records. He gave her a soft smile. "Kyle is, he's really good Addy. Would you believe he's seven now?" Dylan looked around at the fancy lounge they were, Kyle was the reason he would never return to this world. It always destroyed people. Dylan looked back at Addy with a serious face and said quietly and genuinely, "But, really thanks for asking."

Addy then took a seat next to August. "So is this a reunion or some stupid shit? If so, where's our girl Jude?

As if summoned Jude entered the room. She looked just as awkward and unhappy to be there as the rest of them. "Dylan. Augustus. Adeline. Nice to see you again."

Dylan sighed heavily. "Nice isn't really the word for it," he muttered. Sure he'd made mistakes just like the rest of them. However he wasn't going to sit here and pretend like they were all best buds again. It wasn't going to happen.

Then the door to the lounge flew open with a flourish, and Monty walked in with a cheesy grin in his face.

"Good you're all here," Monty said in an overly fake friendly voice. "How long has it been since we have all been in a room together?" Then he went about the room greeting the ex-band members. Air kisses for the girls and handshakes for the boys. Dylan half-hardheartedly shook his hand. His anger at Monty evident on his face, but Monty completely ignored it. After greeting Dylan he smiled and asked, "So, how's the wife and son?"

Dylan gave him a look of disbelief. "Kyle's fine, but Cash and me got a divorce." Then when Monty gave his sympathies, Dylan added bluntly, "Back when the band was still together."

"Right, right." Monty replied and went silent for a moment before he picked himself back up, "Women, am I right, Champ?" Then he moved on to the rest of the group asking similarly out of touch question that showed how little he really cared. "Now, come along, come along." He said ushering out of them out of the lounge and into a large meeting room. He sat down at the head of the long wooden table and motioned for the rest of the group to take a seat. Dylan cautiously picked a chair a little further down from Monty.

"Now did Mandy offer you guys the lime water?" Monty asked with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Isn't that Mandy great though, and she's a looker. I'm thinking of making her my fourth wife." Monty laughed at his own joke while it fell flat with the group.

Dylan cleared his throat and gave Monty a death glare. "Would you mind telling us why you've asked us all here?"

"Right, Right." Monty said motioning for a meek man in the corner to come over. The man passed Monty a briefcase from which he pulled out four paper stacks and passed them to everyone in the group. "So I've asked you all here to inform you of your upcoming reunion tour," He said with a smile and matter of fact tone of voice.

"What?" Dylan replied immediately, wondering if perhaps he had heard wrong.

ImageSighing a shallow sigh Jude talked herself down from the awkward encounter and tried to focus on the moment instead of everything that happened in the past to bring them to this extremely tense point in time. It was true a lot of bad blood had coursed throughout the members of the band, some that Jude had even dealt herself and was embarrassed of to this day, but she did what she had to do to survive in the business and to keep the band going for as long as they could.

Jude flashed a fake smile in Dylan's direction at his mumbled comment before Monty came bursting into the room with the biggest grin plastered on his face and dollar signs for eyes. Jude could already tell he was up to no good.

Corralling them all into the glass house, that was his office. Monty spoke sweetly and softly like a farmer would to his flock before leading them to slaughter, and to Jude it really did feel almost exactly like that. Jude watched as Monty made his way over to Dylan and asked him about his ex-wife and son and then the look on his face after managing to look like a total ass when Dylan reminded him that they'd divorced all those years ago when Monty was still in the picture and managed the group. Jude couldn't help but shake her head as he made his rounds, she'd much prefer if he was honest and admitted that he couldn't give a fuck about them individually, he only cared about the cash-cow that was Soundless September.

"So how're things in your corner Judith? I see you've made it to the big leagues, Loretta must be real proud I bet." Monty said seemingly proud at retrieving her Grandmother's name from his mind that was probably filled to capacity with spread sheets, dollar signs and pre-orchestrated publicity stunts; she had to give it to him, she was kind of surprised he remember it too.

"I bet she is." Was all Jude could utter before being too annoyed to even dignify his attempt at cordiality with a explanation that her grandmother had been dead for just about 9 years, long enough for anyone who had anything to do with Soundless September to have a clue; especially since she missed a few tour dates to plan and attend the funeral.

Filing into the office and taking a seat in front of Monty's gaudy desk the group listened begrudgingly as he cracked a few lifeless jokes and made flirtatious jokes towards secretary that didn't sound much like jokes at all. Jude desperately wanted to cut Monty short because the suspense was killing her but Dylan beat her to it by a hair. Clearing his throat loudly Dylan demanded Monty cut to the chase, and with that the money loving music mogul's tone morphed into the most serious hum he'd managed since they'd arrived.

"So I've asked you all here to inform you of your upcoming reunion tour," Judith chuckled at the proposition and began collecting her bag from the arm rest and her coat from the back of the chair.

"I don't know if you heard anything that went on out there, but with all due respect you must be out of your mind to think we could ever be stage ready again much less be in the same room. Some of us were practically ready to pick up the brawling right where we left off 5 years ago on that stage. Next time you want to include me in any of your half baked ideas Monty, call my manager because I'm sure as hell not subscribing myself to this torture. And I bet that's something we could all agree with. Trust me when I say I don't need this check or the petty exposure." Jude fired off her words in rapid succession before taking a deep breath and long pause at the end of her quasi-rant. She didn't even realize that she had so much pent up emotion still left in her about the band and all the drama that transpired between in their teens, but there it was all laid out in the open for anyone to see with a biting edge.

August sat there in awkward silence for the short time before Monty appeared, seemingly to be more excited about this situation than the rest of them were. Of course August could tell it was nothing more than a show and that he was interested in nothing more than the money that he would most likely be trying to receive from the four of them. But his concerns proved to be correct upon following the male into the meeting room. Augustus took a seat, trying his best to stay as far away from the other ex-band mates as possible.

"So I've asked you all here to inform you of your upcoming reunion tour," did he just hear Monty right? Did he really expect the four of them to share the same stage after everything that happened five years ago. Just before he was able to say anything, Jude immediately explained her feelings about the situation at hand.

"Jude is right. You can't expect us to share the same stage again. Do you not realize how much we all can't stand each other? This wouldn't be a good idea, for any of us in this room," Augustus responded before standing to his feet and began pacing back and forth, trying to calm himself down. The last thing he needed to deal with was another fight breaking out on stage between the members and he wasn't all that interested in anyone believing the band was ever going to get back together. He knew it wasn't going to happen and he just wasn't wanting to answer questions about Soundless September. That ship has sailed and quite frankly, he isn't ever going to be ready to hop back on it again.

Dylan listened to everyone's reactions to the news before he dropped his feet loudly on the desk. He hoped he left a mark"Look Monty, I hate to agree with this guy," Dylan pointed a disgusted thumb in August's direction. "But we 'aint doing no reunion tour."

Monty laughed before sliding his glasses up his nose. "I'm afraid you guys don't really have a choice." He pointed to contract he laid out in front of them before. "You signed a contract at the beginning of your careers that held a reunion clause." He nodded at them all at it dawned on them they had no idea what they had signed all those years ago. So many cds and contracts had come in front of them that Monty told them to sign. They'd just been following along. "Have a look if you want," he waved his hands to the stacks of white paper in front of all the ex-band mates.

Dylan didn't bother looking at his. He knew Monty well enough to know he wouldn't be bluffing, and that he would no doubt do some bullshit like this. "You're a real bastard you know that Monty," He said gruffly glaring at Monty.

"Now, now," Monty said trying to calm down the room with a warm smile that didn't seem very warm. "Honestly guys, I know things have been through for you guys. If there was anything I could do to get you out of this I would, but my hands are tied. The higher ups would have my head if I didn't follow through on this."

Dylan's mouth twitched in anger. "Bullshit Monty. You are the higher ups."

Monty dropped the act. "Well you are free to not participate in the reunion tour but you will have to forfeit all your earnings from Soundless September, including the earnings you have all already spent." Monty's eyes challenged them all to walk out that door. Dylan knew Monty had him there. He'd been a bad saver and spent all the big money he had made. Sure he had a tidy sum that kept him and his son Kyle in a good life but not enough to back out of the reunion tour. Satisfied Monty smiled again. "Now in two hours we have a press conference organised to announce the reunion tour. Before we send you off to makeup and wardrobe," he looked pointedly at Dylan and Addy, "let's discus what you are going to tell the press. We need a reason for the onstage fight, and a reason for the band's breakup. Preferable reasons that will not tarnish the Soundless September brand."

Augustus didn't even bother to look at the contracts that were set down before him. He immediately knew that Monty was telling the truth. Besides, he heard from other bands he had the privilege of meeting who had that clause in their contracts as well, but not once did he ever think about it being in Soundless September's contract. But what's done is done. As much as he'd be willing to just walk away, he knew he wouldn't be able to easily. Even though he had the money to pay back to Monty, he could tell by the looks on some of the others's faces they didn't and he wasn't going to be that jackass who walked out on them a second time because he had something they didn't. So instead of making himself look like an idiot he kept quiet until he heard Adeline speaking up.

For the first time since he stepped into Green Records, he was able to stifle a laugh. Adeline did have a point. "I agree with Adeline. We either tell the fans the truth or we use the lie Adeline came up with. Like she said, it wouldn't hurt the Soundless September brand, it would just hurt you more than anything," he added. August crossed his arms over his chest with a slight smirk upon his face as he watched Monty's reaction to the two of them practically blackmailing their old manager.

Augustus hoped that this wouldn't turn around and bite him in the ass for practically blackmailing Monty because he was a powerful man in the music industry, but so far it seemed to be worth the risk. Besides, it's not like August didn't have the lawyers or even power behind him to get himself out of any sort of trouble Monty would try to put him in for this. If it came down to it he would help the others out as well, whether they wanted the help or not.

Dylan smiled at Addie's comment. He leaned into his chair and gave Monty a challenging look as August backed up Addy. He guessed Monty had done something for them. With Monty as the enemy they were actually feeling a little like a cohesive group. They were sending a challenging message and Dylan was curious what Monty was going to do with it.

Monty paused, dropping his cheesy big wig facade and gave them all a venomous look. Then Dylan became confused when Monty grinned and clapped his hands leaning forward. "What an excellent idea sweetheart,"
He said with all his fake enthusiasm. Dylan gave him a skeptical look but didn't say anything. "Asshole Manager creates drama within Soundless September, causing their breakup."
Monty repeated to himself laughing a little. "I love it."

He clicked his hand and a man brought over four contracts for the ex-band mates. "Just sign on the dotted line, and we can begin the nitty gritty." Dylan pursed his lips this time making sure to flip through the contract.

"Yeah, no offence Monty, but I think I'm going to have a lawyer look over this one," Dylan said bitterly, clearly meaning offence.

Monty flashed him a look before grinning. "Not a problem, not a problem." He then gestured to the entire group, "All of you take your time, you would want any unforeseen clauses in there. You have to make sure you're covered." Dylan resisted he urge to flip the table in anger at Monty. Though he didn't flip the table mostly because he seemed for too large and heavy.

Then Monty clapped twice and two tall women who looked more model than office workers walked in. Monty seemed to have a habit of hiring people based on looks not actual ability. "Now hair and makeup for the press conference," Monty said looking at he two girls who had walked in. "Giselle here will take you two boys, and Jasmine will take the girls." Monty looked at the group with a fake smile, "Don't worry you're in good hands."

"Yeah Monty, I feel real safe in your hands," Dylan replied bitterly as he slowly got to his seat. "Doesn't this seem to be moving a little too fast?" He muttered to the group before shoving his hands in his pockets and following Giselle the blonde.

Giselle took Dylan and August to a floor that was a flurry of activity. People rushing about taking racks of clothing left and right. Giselle went off in search of one such clothing rack, leaving Dylan and August alone. Dylan swallowed the awkwardness and said rather bitterly, "So how's the solo career working out?" He wanted August to know exactly what Dylan thought of his career move.

Then Giselle returned with several clothing choices and piled them into Dylan's hand and ushered him into a change room. Apparently there was a problem with his holey jeans and jumper. Rolling his eyes he tried the different outfits. Each outfit got a frown from Giselle as she pulled on the clothes trying to make them sit better. Each outfit also got Dylan more annoyed. Luckily for Dylan, she gave up on perfection and eventually shrugged on an outfit.

The frustrations of the day eventually got to Dylan and when he was put next to August again he smiled sarcastically and said, "How's that old girlfriend of your's, what was her name, Sarah? Sally?" Dylan knew her name wasn't Sally or Sarah but he was determined to get a rise out of August.

The male rolled his eyes at Monty's reaction to Addy's idea. He knew Monty was going to have some sort of a comeback, he always did. That's probably one of the reasons why the two of them never got along very well, even in the past. If there were anyone he hated more than Dylan in this room, it had to be Monty. Though the very moment another contract was thrown his way he sighed and lifted the papers into his hands, nodding along with Dylan. "For the first time in ages, I believe I agree with Dylan," he answered before going silent long enough for Monty to tell them they had time to look over the contracts and whatnot.

When Monty called in the two females who worked for him, he looked them up and down and gave the two of them a smirk. Sure he wasn't the kind of guy who was going to flirt with them and try to use his charms to get them to submit to him, but he was a guy after all. Augustus checked them out and stood to his feet to follow the blonde, Giselle along with Dylan.

Augustus couldn't believe the female thought it was a good idea to leave the two of them alone together in the same room. If there were a bad idea, that would be the worst idea in the universe. "So how's the solo career working out?" The moment he heard those words spout from Dylan's mouth, he knew there was going to be some sort of disagreement to come about within the next few minutes.

August sighed and cleared his throat before answering, "Be honest man. You don't even care. All you're gonna do is talk shit." he stated in as calm of a tone he could manage. Anyone would be able to hear what he said and realize that Augustus wasn't exactly in the best of moods at the moment. But this was also the calmest he could ever be when sharing the same room with Dylan. Though he couldn't help but to stifle a chuckle when he noticed how aggravated he was getting with Giselle about the clothing. But there was nothing he could say, he felt the same away about wardrobe changes.

Once Giselle was finished with Dylan, she strutted on over to him and started working out wardrobe and makeup for him as well. Finally the blonde settled on something and he changed into it. When he was left in the room with Dylan once more, he brought up his ex girlfriend. That was definitely not a subject he was willing to talk about and he knew Dylan knew that. Augustus rolled his eyes before speaking up, "Why don't you just go lay in a ditch somewhere so you won't have to feel the need to try and put someone down for their past? Would probably do the world a favor too." Augustus spat back at the male. He couldn't control himself anymore. Anyone who brought up Bianca was going to be in the line of fire. He didn't care who they were.
