Leo just smiled, chuckling mostly towards himself as he palmed his pack of cigarettes packing them tightly before drawing one with his wide, full lips. Flicking out out his zippo skillfully he had opened the lid and just as soon, lit the thick wick ablaze.
"Yeah well, you haven't looked any happier since I last saw you so I figure you being mad at me is nothing that's gonna change anytime soon." His words were calloused, but not laced with malcontent, rather hopelessness. He stepped on outside, stepping across the patio and sat down at the rounded table, pulling out one of he patio chairs. He then pulled out a chair for her and patted the seat before leaning back.

She pulled down on her shirt a little, adjusting it and looking at Leo curiously. She kind of wondered if he'd admit it if he did make it...

He exhaled slowly, venting a voluminous stream of light gray smoke away from Deirdre. Casually flicking the ashes into the, his eyes watched her as she asked the question and adjusted her top. Leo then leaned forwards, resting his elbows on his knees and intersecting his wrists as they hung between his legs. He let his left had rubbed the back of his shaved head.
"Yeah, yeah I drew it. But I doubt it would make a difference now, I keep some how managing to piss you off."

Kaylee followed Leo inside, ignoring a glare from Ianto.
Hearing a noise outside, she glanced back out the door and grinned. "People are here!" she ran upstairs and began struggling to drag her speakers out of her room- and somehow succeeding.
Setting up the speakers at the top of the stairs, she plugged them into her iHome and attached her iPod, going into the playlist screen and clicking on the first song. Immediately, techno music blared from the speakers and Kaylee grinned.
"Let the party begin." she murmured to herself, knowing that even if she had yelled, no one could have heard her.
Bouncing down the stairs, she grinned at Danielle, plucking a can of silly string from the table.
Ianto frowned as Leo came in, but said nothing, only glaring at Kaylee before she went upstairs to set up the speakers. With a sigh, he went into the kitchen and poured Sprite into one of the plastic red cups he had gotten from the stack on the middle of the island. Leaning against the fridge, he sighed, tuning out the pounding techno music and waiting for people to come in.

Leo simply chuckled, shaking his head as he looked down at the ground flicking his ashes before taking another drag off the rapidly burning and crinkled cigarette. His left hand, the free one, hung onto the back of his neck, letting his palm rest against his jugular as though to stop extensive bleeding or to check his pulse. In truth, he was thinking of the right words to say, but he couldn't come up with any quick witted humor or or snazzy lines. So he just stuck with what he felt was right.
""I don't know. Every time I close my eyes, that image of you from that night...it's like their burned to the back of my eyelids. I thought when I drew it, I was...afraid to lose you. When I gave it to you, I was still afraid, but it wasn't that fear, it was another. I was afraid that you'd never see how beautiful, and special you are Deirdre. You drive me crazy sometimes, but there ain't a day that I don't or won't think of you, like I did that night. You're like the nights stars, a man could spend his lifetime, searching for the thing that's right in front of him but seems so far away to grasp fully in his hand.""
[It's okay, I apologize for the delay. My computer broke and I finally got it fixed.]

"Lets go." she said and ran up the stairs to go shoot the sting out the window.
She saw people walkng up to the house and squirted them with her blue silly string. It had been what felt like forever sine she had played with silly string. She watched as someone on the phone came near.
"Open mouth. Perfect." she said aloud as she aimed to get the string into the guy's mouth.
It went right across the guy's face and somelanded in his mouth. He spat it out and glared up at her. Danielle grinned at him and continued to squirt the others. Some people started running around the porch, obviously trying to get silly sting on themselves. Danielle soon ran out of silly string and went downstairs to join the rest of the party. The kids from their school were grinding in the living room. Danielle noticed a group of guys sitting on the couch, just watching and talking. She grabbed a random guy's hand and pulled him into the crowd with her. He smiled and started doing what everyone else was doing.

"You think so?" Leo asked quietly, wincing as the smoke lifted from his cigarette lifted to eye level. He threw the cigarette down on the pavement, grinding into the sediment with the heel of his Nike's. His lips parted to the side, releasing a jet of hot air and smoke slowly as he looked up towards her from looking down at the ground. He was always so calm around her, except when they would fight and he knew why. She made his heart a better place, to be at least. He had lost all his trust, or he thought he did till he met her. Until then, he was someone with something to prove. Because he didn't have something to believe in, he was often reckless. With her though, that dissipated over time.
Like water evaporating and returning to the sky.
"I think that's really sweet."She glanced up toward the house, noticing people were starting to show up. She hopped up, holding her hand out to Leo, unsure if he'd take it or not,"We should head inside...People are starting to show up." She half-smiled, "And weren't you supposed to be a bouncer of some sort?"Deirdre asked.
He looked at Deirdre's out stretched hand, he reached up and took it in his own. His hand easily swallowing hers. But rather than being pulled up by this small girl, he pulled her firmly but gently to himself. Once she would approach him, realizing she wasn't about to pull his 230lbs of lean muscle out of the chair, he took both of her hands in his. Cradling them in his large empty hands. His hands held hers lightly, gingerly but they gave her the feeling that he never wanted to let go of them even though he knew at some point he would have to.
He brushed his lips along the soft pads of her fingers down to her palms as he whispered so that only that she could hear. A secret just for her. " You make my heart a better place...All my agony fades away when you hold me with these hands. I...solve riddles and puzzles, but as smart as I am, I do make mistakes," He said quietly, kissing her fingers again, looking up at her before standing and towering over her. "I miss you Deirdre." He kissed her cheek lightly before walking past, yelling at someone hanging onto the fence, and pulling another smaller guy from the bushes where he was quickly trying to roll a joint.

Deirdre couldn't help but be amused when he started yelling at the people outside. She shook her head and then went back inside, almost immediately running into Johnny who seemed to have been lurking around while Chris was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off from a much larger guy.

With yet another cigarette between his lips, he made his way through the kitchen into the front room where they were grabbing both by the collar, he almost lifted them off the ground and probably could have, they weren't as big as he was and they were drunk. He took them out he front door and flung them forwards onto the lawn as he leaned on the rail.
"Go fight each other. Then go sleep it off you can kiss and make up tomorrow if you feel that sore about it."Leo said calmly, drawing off the cigarette by pointing it upwards with his lips before taking it in hand.
"We'll kick your ass--you ain't so tough!" one of them shouted back as Leo continued leaning on the rail.
"Aww, how sweet. Look everybody, they found some they can finally share--just the two of them. You don't want none of me, go on now." Leo began to chuckle.
"Yeah, your right...we don't want you you, we want some of that hot chick you hang with. What's her name? Deirdre Damorte? Thats a fine piece of ass." The other mocked.
Leo smiled, and shook his his head taking one last draw off the cigarette flicking it out into the yard before walking off the porch. " Now see, you went and pissed me off now," Leo said walking towards the two other teenagers. " Can't have you going around talking about that way."

"Mind if I take the rest of this?" she asked, waving the bottle in front of him.
The guy smiled and let herhave it. Then he pulled out another bottle. Danielle went into the crowd again, beer in hand, and started dancing again. This was the worst she had been since before she met Ace. It didn't bother her anymore. Now that her and Ace were over with, it didn't matter what she did. She was a free spirit again.

Kaylee grinned back at Danielle and ran upstairs after her, spraying green silly string down upon everyone outside until the can was empty. Following Danielle back downstairs, she frowned when she spotted her friend grinding with some guys, but didn't say anything. Satisfied to dance by herself in a relatively empty corner, she silently monitored the going-ons of the party. When a techno song with a heavy beat came on, she immediately began dancing Jumpstyle, each move landing precisely on the beats. However, when she saw Danielle with a beer, she frowned, landing the jump she had been in. Walking past Danielle, she quickly made her way to the guy that was obviously supplying the booze.
Pulling him off to the side, she frowned. "Excuse me, but I don't want to have high school drunkies here. I don't need puke in the yard, I don't need to be held responsible for y'all crashing and dying. Get your drinks and get the hell out. Got it?" she glared at the guy for a minute while the half-drunk high school student processed what she had said.
When he finally got it, she heard him mumble something and then, before she could react, the guy slapped her, causing her to flinch and tense, and then he shoved her, easily knocking the tiny girl over onto the floor, where he delivered a sharp kick to her side.
"Bitch, I'm in charge here. No little girl is gonna order me around." he practically growled, delivering one more kick to emphasize his point.
Kaylee yelped upon impact, taking a second to recover. However, she simply pursed her lips and got to her feet, delivering a neat punch to the guy's face- earning a loud crack from the guy's nose (now very crooked). Of course, he proceeded to grab Kaylee by the hair and drag her towards the door.
"Ianto! Leo!" the names tore themselves from Kaylee's throat as the boy dragged her out the door, which she had clung to the frame of until he yanked on her hair- hard, and sent her falling backwards towards him with a yelp.
Ianto, of course, couldn't hear any of what was going on from where he was, still leaned against the fridge. By now he had procured a can of Coke and was slowly draining the aluminum container of it's bubbly filling. Pretty soon he got bored of just sitting there- he needed to be doing something. He had never been much of a party-goer and didn't really care about the girls that kept coming over to him, trying to drag him out to 'dance' (he didn't consider the grinding actual dancing) with them. With a sigh, he turned and went back into the party to head upstairs. By that point in time, Kaylee was already out the door, so Ianto certainly couldn't see her, but someone had just turned up the music, so he couldn't hear her, either. Heading upstairs, he jogged down the hall to his room and unlocked the door, going in, he partially shut his door behind him. Falling back onto his bed, he plucked his iPod from the nightstand and put in his ear buds, aiming to tune out his sister's music.

"Hey, isn't that your friend?"he asked.
Danielle looked in the direction he was pointing. Her eyes grew wide at the scene playing before her and she headed over to the guy, beer bottle in hand, as he was dragging her out the door. She walked up right behind the guy and smashed the bottle right on his head. The guy stood there for a few seconds and Danielle thought it didn't work. She prepared herself to get hit, but watched him eventually fall to the ground.
"Oh yeah, sucker!" she said and looked at Kaylee.
"Oi. He didn't hurt you too bad, did he?" she asked.
Without waiting for a response, she dragged Kaylee back inside the house and looked around for Ianto. Where the Hell did he go? She pulled Kaylee with her up the stairs and opened the door to Ianto's room. Ianto had his earphones stuck in his ears, playing so loud that she could hear it clearly from the doorway. She let go of Kaylee and pulled the earphones out of Ianto's ears.
"Ianto. Kaylee just got fucking hit by some drunk asshole downstairs." she said angrily.
She wasn't mad at Ianto. She was mad at the guy. Didn't matter how hot the guy was, he didn't get any outs. She wanted to go back down there and hav the whole school kick his ass.

Right as Leo was about to go after the two drunks he had dragged out of the house, he heard Kaylee scream his name and not in the good way. "Ah, shit. Damn broad. And she says I can't stay outta trouble..." He muttered under his breath, before turning in the direction of the scream, and turning his back on the two punks. That's when they jumped him together. However, Leo was one of the strongest guys in high school. Aside from boxing, he played defensive linemen. So he knew what it took to stop a pair of guys from toppling him, especially these two scrawny barely there kids. When they jumped onto either shoulder they barely weighed over two hundred and thirty pounds. Leo hunched his shoulders,, slid his arms between their legs and grabbed the back of their pants dead lifting from a standstill. He even added a little 'umpph' when his muscular arm crammed up against their groin intentionally.
The crowd began laughing at these two teens that had obviously bitten off more than they could chew. Groaning and grabbing themselves while holding onto Leo as he marched slowly towards the disturbance. Coming around the corner into the back yard, he noticed Kaylee being dragged by the hair and Danielle standing with a now broken bottle. Leo simply dropped the two kids like sacks of potatoes, letting them fall and cradle themselves. His eyes glistened fiercely. Leo never being one for the abuse of women, in fact, it made him a little crazy. He marched up behind the male, sliding his fingers over his shoulder and even through his leather jacket he could feel a crippling, agonizing pain fill him as Leo grabbed a hold of a nerve like a bear trap shutting closed. He Immediately would let go of Kaylee as he writhed seized up.
Dragging him several feet away, the much angrier Leo spun him around and then, with the same vice like grip gabbed him by the balls and whispered fiercely into his ear. "If it were up to me I'd make sure you'd not be a man any more, seeing as how you can't act like one." He squeezed tighter. The guy groaning in absolute pain. ' If you ever..touch her again...I'll rip it off, understand?" The man nodded quickly, Leo shoved he backwards making him fall over himself. "Go on now, get your asses outta here!" He spat down the ground and then turned to Kaylee. "If you ever do that stupid shit again, girl, I'll bend you over my knee." He said with all the love Leo could muster in his sincere way.

She slid to a stop once she saw them, "What the hell is going on?" She demanded, walking as calmly as possible toward Kaylee.
