Personality: Generally Distant; Astor takes his time 'warming' up to people, and when he does, he'll protect them with his life. Astor is one who will never back away from a fight. He accepts any and all challenges and will fight without mercy. He is oddly charismatic, giving off the vibe that he's approachable. Although he never treats a stranger badly, he doesn't trust easily. He never let's a friend down, and will always drop anything to help them. His loyalty is unwavering, taking all WEAPON missions seriously, doing whatever he can to make the world a better place. Astor tries to avoid civilian contact since he has no alter ego and doesn't want publicity or fame.

History: Astor was born into a family of guinea pigs. His entire family was, at one point or another, used as a lab subject in an Italian Experiment Project, Progetto SottoZero. This was, in part, due to their natural resilience to extreme cold environments. The Scientists intended to create a genetic modification that allowed humans to live in extremely cold environments. Astor was different from his family, he was born with actual ice encasing parts of his body. The doctors were amazed that Astor was alive and breathing with an abnormally low body temperature and ice encasing parts of his insides. He was immediately transferred to the SottoZero Scientists for examination. They discovered that Astor could freeze moisture, anywhere. As he progressed through life, Astor was continually tested and finally gained some control over his icing ability. When Astor was 18, the Scientists eliminated his family, they felt like Astor's family was holding him back. He finally decided, a year later, to get rid of the Experimental Project as to prevent the further experimentation on other people. He traveled to Japan in order to learn combat skills that are independent of his powers. He ultimately learned the Bushido Way, becoming a samurai of sorts. From there he moved to NYC to join WEAPON, figuring he might as well use his powers to help people.

Other Facts: Astor fights on a strict one-on-one basis. He fights with honor and respect. When Astor is really angry, he loses control of his powers.
