"I am a daredevil. I love to do things that a lot of people look at as being reckless or more so just plan crazy. I've gone sky-diving and swimming with sharks and I just love the thrill of adventure. The only thing that I like more than adventure is probably surprises. People feel like a guy or I guess person like me has everything that they could ever want and people are always saying that they don't know what to get me on my birthday and christmas and stuff like that and my response is always just 'surprise me'. I like surprises. When things become predictable I feel like they become boring and I hate being bored. Plus, when it comes to gifts I feel like surprises always tend to be personal and something that someone put a lot of their time and energy into so it means more to me than just a flashy new watch or some pricey kicks. Not to say that I don't like those things because I'd be lying if I said I didn't. I'm just saying that gifts from the heart mean way more than gifts from the wallet.

Going back to the selfish and self-centered thing, I will admit that I have my moments of conceitedness and overall arrogant douchiness. I'm human and more importantly am a guy with an ego. Sue me if you'd like but I don't think there's a problem with me giving myself a pat on the back or stroking my own ego every once in a while. The thing about me is that while I do have that obnoxious side of me I also have this extremely generous side about me that I feel people overlook just because they need a reason to dislike me. So they rather focus on the small negatives than the overwhelming positives. Like the fact that I like to give back and as many weekends as I spend partying and hanging out with friends I also make room and time for charity events and going to the Boys & Girls Club and hanging out with the kids.
I guess it doesn't really matter regardless. I'm not the kind of person whose gonna spend my precious time and energy whining and bitchy about what people don't like me and how the world is unfair. I mean life is life bullshit and suckiness and just something that comes with the territory. The only thing you can really do is let tomorrow come so that all the bullshit from that day becomes apart of your past and if your wise that's where you'll leave it and more the fuck on. Besides no matter how shitty my days are at the end of the day am fucking popular. Which means that I have more friends than the haters who spend their time with their three lame ass friends bitching about what they hate about me. Granted I can't say that everyone I've branded with the title of friend are the same people am gonna be hanging out with five or ten years from now but that's why their just friends and not apart of the besties. I have levels when it comes to my friendship. Now most of the people at talk to at Hollywood High are just standard acquaintances. Those are the people that I may make small talk with during passings and invite to parties just to buff up the guest list. Than I have my friends who I actually look forward to working on class projects with and who'd I eat lunch with and really kick it with during school hours. Than you've got my besties. My number one ride or dies who you can actually find me hanging with outside of school and doing shit with over the weekend.
I can say that I am probably not the best person to call when your in the need of pillow-talk or a shoulder to cry on because I am crazy outspoken and according to my mom I can be a bit insensitive at times. So, if your like expecting me to listen to your woes endlessly and heal all your delicate wounds patiently and all of that I am tell you right now that you may be asking for a little too much from me. Not to say that I wouldn't try and be a good friend and like be there for you but with me your only gonna get like a one to two day pass before I tell you to get your shit together because the world is moving on and it's about time that you start to do the same. It may come across a little harsh but at the end of the day it's most likely true and what you need to hear. Feel free to thank me later."

"The things that bring me the most joy in life are of course my family and friends. I'm a people person and I feel like without my family and friends my life would be extremely lonesome and just boring. Sports have always played a major role in my life. My first word was true-fully ball and I've been playing on organized sport teams since I was four. Needlessly to say I guess I've always been a jock. Food is definitely up there on my joy list. Also girls. Girls bring me a lot of joy."

Greatest Fears
"All of my fears in some way, shape or form boil down to my father. Am scared of getting injured because my dad tearing his ACL is what ended his pro ball career before it even started. I'm scared of never making it to the big leagues because it's pretty much what I've been training my whole life for and I know that if I can't do it my dad will never forgive me. The thing that scares me the most is having to give up sports for any reason because in truth I don't know who Isaiah Scott is without sports. It's been apart of my life for as long as I can remember and I see what having to give up the game has done to my dad and the one thing I never want to be is my dad."
Getting Injured ~ Not Making it to the League ~ Having to Walk Away from the Game ~ Becoming his Father
Priorities
"My priorities as of right now are dominating sports this year and bringing home those championships. I really want to just buckle down this year when it comes to school because this is my senior year and it’s pretty much now or never and it won't matter how good my stats are if my grades suck I won't be playing college ball anywhere. While am not looking for anything serious right now I do want to maintain all the friendships I've made over the years because good friends and minimum drama is the key to a good year."

Life Philosophy
"I read this book once as an assignment giving to me by one of my coaches and in it there is this quote that stuck with me because while am not a runner I could relate to what he was saying because everything he said was something that at one time or another I've felt and have been through. It always remembers that no matter what happens in the future as long as I can say that I've done everything I possible could have to achieve my goals than no matter what happens I've done everything humanly possible."
“Running isn't a sport for pretty boys...It's about the sweat in your hair and the blisters on your feet. Its the frozen spit on your chin and the nausea in your gut. It's about throbbing calves and cramps at midnight that are strong enough to wake the dead. It's about getting out the door and running when the rest of the world is only dreaming about having the passion that you need to live each and every day with. It's about being on a lonely road and running like a champion even when there's not a single soul in sight to cheer you on. Running is all about having the desire to train and persevere until every fiber in your legs, mind, and heart is turned to steel. And when you've finally forged hard enough, you will have become the best runner you can be. And that's all that you can ask for.”
― Paul Maurer, The Gift - A Runner's Story

"I would love to say red or white just for the school spirit brownie points but truthfully I love the color blue. All shades of blue are awesome. It's just such a calming color and it's a nice looking color."

Form of Entertainment
"Sports. Basketball. Baseball. Volleyball. Heck bowling. I like playing sports and that is typically the way I entertain myself. I also love playing video games because I'm just a guy. Honestly I like doing outdoorsy stuff that gets me moving. Like I'll go hiking or I'll just round up teammates and will go painting balling. I do know how to and like to surf. On laid back days I'll go to CityWalk with a group of friends or out to the movies if there is something good playing. I don't know living in California the weather is typical amazing and on a good day you can always find something to do."

Most Prized Possession
"My most prized possession is the trophy case in my room that has ever trophy or medal I have ever won. I love looking at my trophies because every trophy is a reminder of something that I've achieved and it just remembers me of how far I've come and also how much farther I have to go. It keeps me goal-oriented and focused."

"I would say the my hobbies are for one sports. If you couldn't guess that by now you haven't been paying attention. Than I like to play video games and watching tv. I'm really into social media like most teens are nowadays. I like hanging out with my friends and being immature and goofing around because am young, wild and free and more importantly I don't got no worries."

Do you play a musical instrument?
"I've always wanted to learn how to like play the drums or the guitar but I'm always so busy doing sport-related things that I've never had the time to commit to learning how to play an instrument."
No
Do you play sports?
"No, am a jock who doesn't play sports. Of course I play sports! Sports is life."
Yes
How would you spend a rainy day?
"What I love to do on a day stuck in the house is either invite a bunch of friends over to my place or go over to there place and just have like a full blown war. Like I've done all day nerf wars, true or dare wars, challenge wars in which I nearly died like serval times that day. Wars amongst friends is always a good time and by the time the rain stops your having so much fun that you don't even want to go outside."
War
Spending Habits
"Since moving out on my own a couple of years back I find that I spend the most money on food. Like four nights out of seven am ordering takeout from somewhere because I don't really know how to cook. Like I can do basic microwaveable stuff and pre-cooked stuff that you just pop into the oven but outside of that I really can’t cook. Even before I started living on my own I've always spent a lot money on my wardrobe and video games. Than of course now I have bills and shit to pay that my money goes to monthly otherwise I'd be living back with my parents."

"The first memory I can recall of my childhood is holding a basketball, and since that day my dad has been pushing me into the world of sports. Since I was a kid my dad has always had these really high exceptions of me and no matter how good I did my best was never good enough. If I scored thirty-eight points it should have been forty, if I had the shot I should have taken the shot instead of passing. He can just always find something to criticize me about and I think the thing that drives me the most is my need to just shut him up and show him that am better than he ever was."
Proving Himself to his Father
Immediate Goals
"Both my father and his father before him went to Hollywood High. Both of their numbers and jerseys are retired and hang in courts in the high school. I plan on outscoring them both and breaking my own records. Outside of just basketball I want to bring home the championship for my football, basketball and baseball team. I also want to end the school year with a B average because it's better than a C and I know there is no way in hell am pulling an A out of my ass. Am hoping to keep the relationship drama to a minimum this year by not getting seriously involved with anyone. Hopefully my heart can keep on the same page with my mind. Hopefully."
Break Records ~ Bring Home Championships ~ B Average ~ No Relationship Drama
Long Term Goals
"Unlike my dad and grandfather I'm gifted at more than just basketball and I have the chance to play any sport with any league I want. Scouts began taking an interest during my sophomore year and as they put it if I keep doing what am doing and I keep my grades up am looking at a full ride. Which is the opposite of what my dad wants but I think it would be better for me to get drafted after at least two years of college. Just in case god forbid I end up getting injured like him I'll have something to fall back on. I do plan on being a father with a wife and kids and the whole package, but that's like really far down the line."
Go to College ~ Get Drafted to the League ~ Get Married and Have Kids
How do you plan to accomplish these goals?
"I'm gonna continue doing everything that I've been doing. I'm gonna keep putting my blood, sweat and tears into everything that I do and hope that the right people take notice of what am doing. I plan on keeping things fun and causal as to not find myself in a new relationship this year because I need to focus on the books and I can't do that when I'm dealing with relationship stuff."

"I've lived in California my entire life."
Los Angeles, California
What was your childhood like?
"I was only two when my dad's torn his ACL and went into a downward spiral. I don't really remember what he was like than but to hear my sister and my mom tell it he was an tyrant. For whatever reason my mom stuck by him threw all his mantrums and eventually it got better. He was never able to get over he failed dreams and so instead he pressured me to do what he couldn't. From the time I was four he placed me on organized sport teams. Like both my father and his father I excel when it comes to basketball but he allowed me to play any sport I wanted because as he put it 'gave me an edge'. Honestly, even as a kid I loved playing sports and while there were many times when I hated him and cursed his name under my breath I probably wouldn't be as good as I am today without him.
Outside of the immense pressure my father has always placed on me my childhood isn't as bad as it probably sounds. I mean my mom made sure that I got to have a childhood. While my dad's pro ball career had floundered he didn't leave the world of sports completely. He became a sports agent and my mom opened her own smoothie and juice shop when I was six. My mom and dad where successful in their ventures and me and my sister had a content upbringing."

Dream job
"I wanted to play sports professional since I was kid. Yeah my dad was a drill sergeant when it came to me and sports but while it made me despise him my love for the game never went away. In fact it just intensified over the years. I never could pick a sport. One day I wanted to be a basketball player and the next a volleyball player and the day after that a football player. I guess somethings never change."
Wanted to be Professional Ball Player
Education
"Ugh. The Buckley School. I fucking hated that place! Unlike the other kids who went there my parents couldn't afford to pay the tuition and fees so I was there with the help of financial aid. It's one thing to go to school with a couple of preppy kids but to go to a school full of them was another story. High school couldn't have come soon enough. I was so glad when my dad transferred me Hollywood High."

Finances
"Once my dad got his shit together he had gone back to college and after graduating he got hired as a sports agent at the Creative Artist Agency. The first Robeks my mom ever opened was in 2002 in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles, just north of LAX. My mom's idea was simple: she believed there was a very large market for the type of high-quality smoothies and fresh juices that were sold only in health food stores. I guess she was right. Fortunate didn't rain in immediately but we lived a good life between their two incomes."

Finances
"My dad went from working as a sports agent at Creative Artist Agency to owning the company. He works from headquarters situated here in Los Angeles. The CAA’s total contracts under management are estimated to be in excess of $6 billion. Since 2002, Robeks has grown to more than 300 stores across the nation. The franchise is still growing and as of right now it is worth $5.8 billion. I currently make about thirteen dollars an hour working at the store and while it isn't much my mom still gives me money on like a weekly base to my father's dismay."
Parents are Wealthy
House
"I've been living on my own since sophomore year. My parents had started getting into huge fights when I was in the eighth grade and by my freshman year they were talking divorce. I was only fourteen at the time but I told them point blank that if they did get a divorce that I was going to seek emancipation because I wasn't going to be there tug of war toy when child custody came up. Divorce meant a lot of battles and splitting of property and finances and in the end my parents didn't go through with it. However, the arguing never stopped and while I didn't seek emancipation I did get the hell out of there. That caused a lot of fighting between the three of us but in the end we came to an agreement and they allowed me to move out. From the middle of my sophomore year till this summer I was living in a penthouse in LA. A couple of days this renowned architect by the name of Paul McClean designed and completed this modern masterpiece that I know call home. I literally just finished moving in and unpacking like two days ago. It has the best views of Bel-Air in my person opinion."

Transportation
"I have four different cars and a motorcycle. Is there a real reason why? No. I have them because I was able to get them. The truth of the matter is that I got all these cars just this year and the beauty of it all is that I didn't buy a single one. For my seventeenth birthday this year a couple of the players that have contracts with my dad's agency had this bet of who could get me the best gift. Four of those players had cars in mind and I kept them all. Best birthday ever! My motorcycle was a sixteenth birthday present from my parents, well really it was a gift from my mom but she gave my dad credit. Up until this year it was my only mode of transportation unless I borrowed one of my mom's cars."

45 - Father
"My relationship with my father is complicated at best. Our relationship hasn't been the greatest these last couple of years. I know that he pushes me as hard as he does because he loves and believes in me but than there's this part of me that always knows that he does what he does because in some weird way he trying to like live through me. He knows that I can have something that he's always wanted for himself but never got to do because of his injury. There is just this huge strain on our relationship because he spends all his time acting like another one of my coaches and that's just something I don't need. Hell I already have three separate coaches and the only thing I want from my father is for him to be a father. But, he just doesn't get that and until he does I don't think I'll relationship will ever get any better."
Isabella Scott

39 - Mother
"I don't want to say that am a momma's boy but the truth of the matter is that I kind of am. My relationship with my dad has always been this crazy roller coaster ride and with my mom it's just always been so simple. She never tries to be anything more than my mom and I love her for that because sometimes that's all I need and all I want. No matter what drama am going through with my dad my mom is always on my side. That's probably one of the many reasons she and my dad get into it so often. Truthfully if it wasn't for the fact that neither of them want to deal with the messiness that a divorce would bring they'd be divorced already. Regardless of what happens with my parents I know that my mom will always be there for me and have my back. I love her."
Sierra Scott

22 - Sister
"Sometimes I really wish that my sister wasn't married and off living her life in Florida because I do miss her a lot. Despite the five year difference in age me and my sister are crazy close. My sister always said that she was glad that she was born a girl and me the boy because she doesn't think she would be able to handle the pressure of our father. I guess she always felt sort of sorry for me when we were growing up so whenever she could she'd find a way into talking my dad into letting me go with her somewhere. She would come up with excuses like she needed my help picking something up somewhere and we'd end up in Venice walking on the boardwalk eating ice-cream. My sister is the best sister I could ever ask for."
Jake Scott

8/56 - Best Friend
"Jake he's been my mejor amigo since I was nine years old and eight years later he is still the best christmas present I have ever gotten. My dog just makes me happy. I mean it doesn't matter if I've had the worst day in the world the second I see him everything just instantly becomes okay. There was no way I wasn't taking him with me when I left my parents house."

"Unlike some other people who I know I didn't go anywhere this summer. I stayed here in Cali and I just had fun. I went to parties. I threw parties. I went to a couple of different charity events around the city and my summer was just really chill. Construct on my new place wrapped up and went on the market on the second. My realtor was friends with the person who built and designed the place and he told me about it, I talked to my mom about it and by the six I was packing up and moving into my new bachelor pad."
