Age: 17
What are you: Angel
Human appearance:
Image
Eye color: Brown
Hair color: Dark brown (it could be mistaken for black)
Height: 5'5''
Weight: 110lb.

Personality

Aya is known for being extremely kind and understanding. Her looks may be average, but her warm and peaceful aura tends to attract those who are saddened or hurt towards her. She is very mild-tempered and is therefore not easily upset; she thinks through situations before deciding how to act. Aya is also comfortable with herself as a person. She does not try to act or look a certain way to fit in, because she feels that it is unneeded. Aya will also do everything she can to console a person who is hurt without endangering herself in the process. She is a very calm, kind-hearted angel who is content with herself.

Powers: Aya has amazing healing abilities. She can heal wounds with her energy.
She can also control wind. She isn't very good at it yet because her powers haven't fully developed.

History

Aya's mother raised her as a human while Aya's father stayed in the skies. Aya never knew she was an angel until her 15th birthday. This was also the first time Aya saw her father's face. He came to tell Aya about her true heritage and to convince Aya's mother to send her to Keystone. He felt it would be better if Aya spent some time with her own kind. He would eventually take her up to the heavens to see where she truly came from, but until then he wanted Aya to live her life as freely as possible. Aya gladly excepted and shortly after flew from Japan to attend Camp Keystone.

Ayano paused and looked up at the camp gate for a brief moment before readjusting her satchel on her shoulder. She wasn't quite sure what to expect, but she wasn't worried. She had been to unfamiliar places before, for she had often been left to fend for herself during the day while her mother was working. A slight wind was blowing, the long sleeves on her kimono floating in the breeze. Ayano had a feeling she was going to like it here. It was calm, peaceful, and relaxing. Well - at least for now. Ayano walked through the gate and set about finding the main office. After a while of wandering, Ayano set her satchel down, sat on a bench, and closed her eyes. Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep.

Ayano's eyes fluttered open, and it took her a moment to remember where she was. An hour or two had passed and her head was aching. "Hara heta..." (I'm hungry...). Ayano rubbed her temples and slowly stood up, gathering her bag and heading down one of the camp pathways. She saw a creature standing outside one of the buildings. Ah! I know what that is! It's a Kirin. Her mood perked up, despite her aching head as she headed towards the building. Ayano walked up to the Kirin and waved. "Uh.. hi. My name is Ayano Hatsukaya. Is this the main office?" She pointed at the building with one arm and scratched her head with the other. If I don't get food soon, I'll fall asleep again. How troublesome...

Genkei noticed the girl that walked up to him, in a response to her he bowed his large head as he would to greet anyone. "Hello," his voice almost seemed to ring like a bell, "I am Genkei Oshiro. I.. believe it is." His words were a bit broken as he spoke to her in english, not haveing much practice in using such a confusing language. The Qilin lifted his head and looked down at her, his eyes glancing over her person to get a better idea of what she look like not just her face. His tail swayed a bit behind him, the long hair on it brushed against the grass under it.

Ayano was feeling extremely tired. "Ano ne... do you know where I could get some food? I feel like I'm about to pass out." Ayano smiled warmly. "Oh, and you can call me Aya if you want. It's nice to meet you, Genkei. I can tell you are having a hard time speaking English... would it help if I spoke in Japanese?"
On the inside Ayano was scolding herself for forgetting to pack some snacks, at least some onigiri. She usually wasn't this careless, but she had been just slightly unsure about coming to this Camp Keystone. She hadn't heard of it before, and it was only because of her parents that she was there.

Genkai shook his head from side to side in response to Ayano, "I do not know where you can go find food, I am sure that there is someone.. who does." He noticed her warm smile and attempted to smile in return, but failing due to the fact he couldn't much make any facial expressions. The Qilin was about to answer her other question but his attention was soon onto a man whom whistled, catching him off guard only for a moment. He had swung his head around to look towards him almost knocking the man over with it then gently he lowered his head into a bow, greeting him as it was traditional to do. His large head went back up into it's normal postiton soon after as he listen to Athest talk, it was worded different, but mostly the same to what Ayano had just asked him. He decided it would be best to answer them at the same time about the subject of what he'd most be comfortable speaking in.

"It is kind for you both to offer speaking in different language, for my native tongue is Japanese" Genkei paused and took a step back, his hooves barely making a sound on the grass, "but it is not nesseccary. If I am to learn English and speak it good enough, it is best I do so.. no matter.. how hard may be." Though he much wasn't comfortable speaking the language it was most likely what was need to be done, especially if he were to communicate with most others in the camp. The words he would speak may be choppy and sometimes hard to understand, but the way to learn is to do.

Ayano nodded, "Yes. You are probably right. I feel the same, having lived in Japan my whole life, but luckily my mother taught me English." Suddenly Ayano started feeling dizzy, so she sat down on the grass. "Oh no... sorry, ano.. watashi ha, tada chotto nemui dakara..." (Sorry, uh.. I'm just a little sleepy so...) She could barely keep her eyes open. As they started to close, the sunlight in her vision and the green leaves on the trees blurred. Her head hit the grass, but she didn't feel a thing. Ayano was already fast asleep, and she probably would be for the next hour or so until she got some more food.

Genkei watched as Ayano sat herself onto the grass and soon after she had fallen asleep. She had mentioned being a little sleepy a moment before, but he wouldn't have guessed she'd be tired enough to fall asleep on the ground. He lowered his head near the girl and gave her a simple nudge to see if she would wake up, but it seemed she was sleeping rather well. The Qilin lifted his head and looked towards Athest just as an announcement came across the camp grounds. 'Bonfire?' he thought to himself before speaking to Athest, "it seems all are needed at the.. fire of some kind." The ears on his head flicked and twitched around as he listened to the sounds of nature around him.

"It is custom to have fires for here?" he asked curiously. Genkei glanced back down at Ayano's sleeping form, he couldn't in his conscious mind leave her to sleep on the ground. His head leaned down once more as he wrapped jaws around her waist and lifted her ever so gently, placing her lengthwise onto his back. Her head was facing towards his neck, his body should be cushioned by the fur that ran thickly down his back. The girl was secured on him, he had two bags upon each side of his body. So if she were to shift around she wouldn't fall off.

Genkei's head turned to look at Athest once more as he asked for his name, "my name is Genkei Oshiro," he told him. He waited for the man to find his name on the list, though he wouldn't be able to sign it now Athest would at least know he was there and check him off.

Genkei didn't noticed that Ayano had gotten up and went to get herself some food, eventually making her way under a shady tree to eat it. Once he gotten signing in all handled and taken care up he looked around, he didn't notice her anywhere untill his eyes laid on a tree over by the forest. This gave his opportune time to go and change using the bracelt that was given out to all the campers. He knew it would give him a human form but he wasn't sure how it was going to feel haveing a mortal body like that. Genkei held a bracelet within his mouth and went over to a nearby building, walking behind it to cover himself. Once he were to put it on it was more than likely he'd be standing there naked.

Genkei grabbed the bags that were still strapped around his body and took them off, no sense in going into a human form if there were still his bags around him. After the Qilin had gotten them off of his body and onto the ground he raised up one of front left. With a swift motion he had gotten the bracelet over his hoof and onto his ankle. In a matter of seconds her was transformed into a human shape, standing there naked seeming not much to care. A breeze rolled by and passed over his skin, skin? He quickly began to feel his body, his face, arms, the curves of the muscles on his torso. This all seemed weird and out of place for him, a body covered in such a little hair and no scales. He had much to get use to in this camp, speach and body being two of the most obvious ones.

Genkei needed one more thing to do before joining the others at this bonfire or whatever they so called. A celebration even he supposed it was, a welcoming at that as well. His hand found their way though his hair, he pulled some down to look at the color. It was light, a very light blond that is. The hair wasn't much different than his very own when he was in his original form, though the texture and color where mostly different. He stook for a moment, continueing to look over his human shape when a thought came to mind. 'Perhaps I should put some clothing on, nudity isn't that great when being human formed,' he thought to himself before opening one of the bags that he laid upon the ground, digging through to find the clothes he needed.

Genkei grabbed himself a couple of articles, the things that he needed to wear, which included a pair of shoes as well. As he put the clothing on to his body he couldn't help but to feel a bit weird with the fabric rubbing against his skin, the texture of it sent chills down his spine. He finished by putting the shoes on his feet and looked down at himself. he looked fine, at least he thought he did, the clothing didn't seem all to right to him but it would most defiantly do for the time. The shirt he wore was white with some sort of design on it, the lettering being in Japanese. Below on his lower half was a pair of deep colored jeans with a bit of fading on the thigh and lower legs, a grundgy looking rip on his right leg. On his feet where a pair of blue shoes, he was ready to go now.

Genkei picked up the bags on the ground, they were heavy, but not heavy for him. He took his things to his cabin, number three it was, and set everything down in the front, he'd come back later to take it all in.

Once situation with that he joined everyone at the bonfire, he didn't much go towards the others for now, but went over to Ayano who still sat under the tree, eating slowly. "Feeling better?" he questioned the girl who passed out not too long ago.

Genkei sat himself down beside the girl, his back hitting against the tree for support, "it's a bit more strange feeling than just the clothes, it's also the skin that the clothes are touching as well." His eyes glanced over to her once he was settled enough in the position he was in, "I can.. not much complain about how these... clothes look on me, they were given to me by an elderly couple. I could.. not much get anything myself if I had wanted to," he softly grinned in amusement at himself. He sat there and listened to her talk before speaking again, "you need not to thank me for what I did, I could not leave you on the grass for you and the grass's sake."

Genkei looked around at the surrounds around him, the scenery was different from what he would usually see in his every day to day life, but it was fine the way it was. He closed his eyes for only a moment and took a deep long breath, filling his lungs with the fresh, clean air. His eyes opened up again though, once Ayano had spoken to him and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't usually.. come in contact with others," he paused for a moment to look at the other campers, "I live within the forests of Japan, only things that live there... are the animals."

Genkei sat quietly as he listened to the girl talk, intrigued by what she was saying about her life so far, "I would never be able to live in the city... for obvious reasons but.. because there is too much noises, no nature." He leaned his head back against the tree and let out a soft, quiet sigh, continueing to listen to her speak. Soon came a bunch of questions about him, he couldn't help but to laugh slightly at them all and glanced down at her. Her face as red, almost like a cherry, Ayano must have certainly been embarrassed with all the questions she asked.

"Do not worry, your questions bother me not," he said calmy with a smile to reassure her, "as for you're questions though, my parents are doing well.. or so I would assume since have not seen them in a few days or so." Genkei's hand landed onto the soft grass beneath them, the cooling feel of the blade against his skin felt nice even if it was also an odd feeling as well. "I do not play an instrument, I am hooved creature.. I lack the necessary appendages for luxuries like that," he paused and chuckled softly to himsef, "as for living in forest, it is nice. No noises from the city to worry about mostly, though it seems that the city keeps getting larger and larger, making it hard keep the harmony of nature."

"I can only imagine how difficult that must be, trying to live in the forest while civilization expands. Do you live in a cave? Or in a meadow? What do you normally eat? Do you have any siblings? I am an only child... that I know of. I may have some half siblings, but I'm not really sure."

Ayano was even more relaxed than she was before. It was nice to have made a friend on the first day of camp. Even if Genkei did not see Ayano as a friend, that was okay for right now. Good friendships took a while to build. At least that was what her mother always told her. With Mayumi, it had happened in what felt like a split second. One day she was walking lost down the school hallway, and the next Mayumi was sitting next to her in all her classes. Being able to talk with someone and share interests gave Ayano a warm feeling inside. She may not have realized it yet, but deep down, Ayano had always felt a little lonely and sad.

"My mom has always taken good care of me, but she's always been a busy person. It has always been hard for her to be there like a real parent. Most of the time she would go to work, but sometimes she would just disappear for a day. I figured that was when she would go to see my father. During those times, I would go stay at my friend Mayumi's house. Her parents were always calling me their second child, and to be honest, it really felt that way sometimes." A soft breeze was blowing, and the sun had completely dropped in the sky. Thousands of tiny stars twinkled while the moon was hidden by a small cloud.

Genkei sat there and continued to listen to the girl talk as more questions were being asked. "I don't live in one place or area, I live all around the forests and the mountains.. the land is my home," he paused for a moment before speaking again, "my diet is rather strict and it's rather hard to find the food me and my parents eat. There are a few areas that grow a type of magical grass that we consume on a daily basis, though I'm afraid that being here I'm going to have much difficult time eating. Especially since I do not consume flesh." His eyes glanced over towards the food that was out there, much of it being meats and such. "I am the only child of my parents, though.. it would be nice to have siblings," the Qilin said as he put his arm around the back of his head, resting it on them.

Genkei closed his eyes and let the fresh clean air fill his lungs before expelling it out. He listened to her speak of her mother, then of her friend Mayumi and how her parents would call her their second child. He smiled listening to her talk about herself, it was a nice change of pace to have contact with others. "It is good you had a place to go while your mother was away, so you don't have to be alone in that time," he said to her, his eye opening up to look towards the sky.

Genkei looked over to the man that stood before him and Ayano, he wasn't much startled by the fact that he was there but was curious on how he knew that they were there in the first place. He graciously got up from the ground, letting his power of flight help him before he was totally on his feet. "My apologies," he spoke as her bowed to him, one of his hands was balled into a fist as it touched softly against the palm of his other hand. "We shall.. make out way there now," he spoke before straightening himself up. His attention went tot he girl that was still sitting on the grass with her back against the tree. Genkei kindly offered her his hand to help her get up.

Ayano sat up in bed. She was exhausted... After falling asleep so much the day before, she wasn't able to fall asleep by the time she needed to. She undressed and put on a soft pink kimono, covered in red and white flowers. Ayano yawned and went downstairs to grab a bowl of cereal. As she was pouring herself a bowl, she remembered the announcement about the package being on their front porch. She went to the door and pulled the box inside, wondering what was inside.
