Artificial Brain: Aside from the brain stem and cerebellum, Matrix' brain is entirely artificial, robotic, built by her father so that she wouldn't grow up as a mindless animal. This potent computer is one of the most advanced around. It was preloaded with enormous quantities of data and information, and was made to remember and comprehend everything. This means that as soon as it was implanted Matrix possessed the same knowledge as her genius father, and adds to this knowledge constantly through almost instantly learning. It is built to disguise itself from all technology scanners, makes probability decisions, but also functions as a human brain would, instead of working as a fully programmed machine. This means that Matrix acquires her own personality traits freely and thinks with liberty. It's a regular brain, just better.

Personality

PERSONALITY

Personality Description
A control freak in every sense, Matrix likes to know everything and have everything go according to plan. That is what owning a number of virtual realities altered at will does to someone, it would appear. Matrix can assume two personalities. Within any virtual reality she adopts a goddess complex, able to alter her surroundings at she sees fit, capable of wiping programs and creating others without bothering with the boring details such a coding and firewalls. The imagination is her limit.

Unfortunately, imagination isn't one of Matrix' defining traits. She is systematic, almost machine-like in her actions and decisions, precisely because paying attention to logic and not emotions usually leads to better results. This manner of being would normally cause one to believe that Matrix is a woman who justifies the means with the end, but this is not the case. Matrix has a very active conscience that keeps her in check, forbidding acts of violence that aren't made in self-defense. Killing is out of the question in almost any situation. Almost means that if absolutely necessary, Matrix will take a life, but seeing as she has never been forced into such a situation, she isn't sure how she would react afterwards.

These characteristics disappear completely within virtual realities however. People do not die within them, their coding only fails, and this means that they can be recreated or redesigned easily. These alterations still exist once the person in question is released from the mind prison, which means that Matrix is capable of submitting people to her own, altered version of The Guardian Act... for the greater good. Matrix has absolutely no problem with rewriting people's minds to turn them into better citizens. The trend seems to be catching on, in fact.

In the outside world, this changes. Although capable of locking mind's within her own with just a thought, she is fully aware that in the real world she is not a goddess, and must act as so. Whenever not behind the well defended walls of her workplace she is extremely cautious, always protected by self-designed androids, equipped with the most advanced technology available. Because of her moral lines she uses violence as a last resort, and prefers diplomacy, but is quite aware that violence can be common among others. This is made evident by her security androids, neurologically connected to her own mind. Puppets so to speak that are her eyes, ears and weapons.

Quirks
- Matrix places perhaps too much trust in her mind, meaning arrogance and blind faith fueled decisions.
-Does not trust with ease.
-Disregard for her own, replaceable body.

Fears
- Losing all synthetic bodies. Permanent death.
-Technology surpassing her capabilities.
-Being without protection in the real world.

Goal
-To bring what The Guardian Act represents to full fruition. A perfect, suffering free world.

Likes
-Classical Music.
-Renewing minds
-Safety.
-Making use of her intellect.
-Flight

Dislikes
-Combat (Despite being more than competent).
-Out of control situations. Chaos.
-Criminals.

Strengths
-Superior intellect and instant calculation ability.
-Dexterity and reflexes.
-Inventive capabilities.

Weaknesses

Equipment

EQUIPMENT

Abilities & Skill  & Combat Rating

[Perfect] - [Excellent] - [Good] - [Above Average] - [Average] - [Below Average] - [Poor] - [Very Poor]

Clothing/Armor [Excellent]

-Her entire outside clothing is a flexible cooler suit, reinforced within to provide decent protection against regular bullets also.

-Matrix' suit is also equipped with an anti-gravitational piece of technology that allows her to act against gravity even more so than her androids, mainly because she doesn't weigh as much. Because of this Matrix may transport herself as if she were using a hoverboard, in short, using flight.

-The suit allows Matrix to administer potent electrical shocks through touch and over short distances. Approximately ten feet. At ten feet however, the discharge is at its weakest, but could still leave a weaker person unconscious.

-The clothing connects directly with Matrix' muscles, enhancing her strength and even granting her advanced flexibility. It is also capable of partly nullifying pain of the need arises, and over time healing at an accelerated pace. It keeps Matrix' blood at the same temperature as programmed, effectively protecting her against extreme conditions.

Combat Prowess [Good]
Matrix has martial arts programmed into her body, and her calculations make her movements accurate, but there's no substitute for practice... something she gets little of.

Abilities
[Perfect] Technopath: Matrix, using her brain, is able to detect and seize control of, or even destroy, almost any piece of technology created, making her extremely dangerous in this modern world. She is also an incredible inventor, able to create astounding objects from seemingly insignificant components.

[Excellent] AMP Mastery: Matrix is almost second to none in most skills that involve the use of AMP technology, the capability to do so having been installed into her suit and mind itself.

It is also worth noting that within a virtual reality Matrix is capable of anything, as long as her imagination is up to the task.

Skills
[Good] Negotiation: Matrix always prefers the diplomatic solution, which more often than not involves talking. Unfortunately, Matrix' ego is high enough to affect her people skills, meaning she often patronizes others.

Weapons
Dual firearms able to fire either laser or bullets, depending on the need. Though Matrix isn't the greatest firearms expert, the weapons can autolock much like the easy option in video games.
Name: None.
Type: Firearms.
Ammo: Laser or projectile.

Equipment
-The goggles are highly sophisticated pieces of equipment that analyze everything in her view constantly, showing her all technology, hidden or not, the functions that technology may have and it's current activity. They provide a constant feed of whatever information the government may have regarding any person Matrix sees. Upon mental command the goggles can also provide x-ray vision, allowing her to scan the possessions of others and check her current surroundings. These being some of the most important pieces of equipment Matrix carries, she also has a spare pair.

-With her, Matrix is always accompanied by at least two androids, created in such a way that makes them so very different to regular androids it makes them impossible to hack or control. These androids are excellent with their weapons, deadly marksmen, competent with any piece of technology, including weapons, they lay their hands on. Their speed and strength is enhanced with pretty much every robotic enhancement that can be found legally or illegally, and their armour is a fusion between thick layers of kevlar and MicroPLaD technology. Accompanied by their instant decision making capability and accurate possibility analysis, they are feared, though through being linked to Matrix, they must follow her line of thought. At their core is an anti-gravitational system, similar to the that found in most vehicles, meaning that for short periods of time, these androids can hover, or as the name of the technology implies, defy gravity. The androids are made to look just like any human would, and their number grows constantly. Matrix never grows tired of making more and upgrading them, and she is planning on giving them sufficient A.I to produce 'brothers and sisters'.

Bio/History Samantha Holloway was born mentally retarded, almost an animal regarding intelligence, the daughter of a housewife that died giving birth and a father of a privileged mind. Avery Holloway was one of the top scientific investigators in the ever-growing field of bio-cybernetics and was held in high regard within the scientific community.

Samantha possessed within her skull a disease of unknown origin that rapidly degenerated the brain. Predicted to pass on at the age of two, this was Avery's main motivation behind his most renowned project. Samantha was saved, her mind replaced with an artificial one, preloaded with vast amounts of information that would gradually unlock over time.

Avery mysteriously vanished shortly afterwards. At the age of two Samantha was taken in by her family's butler as a daughter of his own. During her childhood she excelled in nearly every academic aspect. By the age of ten Samantha possessed knowledge beyond that of most of her teachers and adults of the intellectual variety. Rapidly she began to further her studies under the greatest minds of her age. Her brain, already containing more than sufficient data, facilitated the learning process greatly. Samantha absorbed facts like a sponge... with perfect memory.

More or less at the same time in her life, around twenty, two great leaps took place. Being one of the leaders in investigative cloning, perfected the rgan replication process, allowing her and her colleagues to create entirely artificial bodies that could live and develop their own personalities. This was one of the stepping stones towards present day technology. She also reached information within her own memory banks that would allow her to recreate the very brain that had guided her so far. This, she kept secret.

Years later, Samantha Holloway was killed in a traffic collision. There was a solution to this setback, however. Many copies of her brain had been built over time, and at regular intervals the memories and accumulated data would be transferred from the original to the others. Once Samantha's life ended the original destroyed itself, unwilling to have it's secrets revealed. Samantha's plan was simple; upon death a single, artificial brain would be planted within a prepared, mindless clone, resuming her life within a new capsule. Immortality? Maybe...

Time passed and technology advanced hand in hand with Samantha's developments. Of course, she wasn't the sol responsible person for behind modern technology, but under many aliases she formed a large part of science's evolution. Each progression allowed her to perfect her own mind. Eventually it not only became an enhanced memory bank but also began to alter her physical capabilities; higher coordination, augmented vision... she progressed brilliantly , but never once allowed more than her mind to become a machine. Machines were built to serve, and life was to command. She considered herself the perfect fusion between the pinnacle of organic life and a benefactor or conscious society.

With each enhancement she grew closer to perfection. She accumulated riches and became an able defender of her secrets. This called upon the attention of The Guardian Act no sooner had it been formed. She had already been an active member of The Program. The Guardian Act was a movement that the female in question was a fierce supporter of. Samantha delved into computer programming and developed a virtual, interactive world that would substitute prisons. As the personal creator of this virtual reality Samantha made sure that only her unique mind had administrative rights. Only she could open and close it's doors. The brain had reached such a point that it was capable of seizing complete control over other machines, a technological empath of sorts, enabling Samantha to become one with the technology around her. His meant that within a virtual reality she was all-powerful. She had no need for rewriting programs. Within her prison her imagination was the limit.

Samantha adopted the name Matrix shortly after creating her impenetrable, inescapable world. Only one able to hack her mind itself could free a prisoner from within, as far as she knew, for that is where the minds of criminals and the world itself is stored.

So begins...
