Damien Almira

"The floor may be mine, but I personally prefer to stay in the sky where I'm not limited by gravity and my imagination is limitless."

Role: S-Rank Mage

Gender: Male
Title(s)/Alias(es): Creep
Age: 20

Preferred Clothing: Damien wears a different assortment of clothes, however his wardrobe seems to focus around cloaks and robes that prioritize the color white, this is probably because it goes with his hair, that and well...he is always mumbling about how white brings out his eyes, well eye considering he keeps the other one covered as much as possible.

Height: 5'11"
Weight: Roughly around 144lbs, however his overall stature seems to be bigger due to his casual apparel.
Hair Color: A dull gray with purple highlights that run through the bangs that cover his eye,
Eye Color: A dark orange however under certain light they can be distinguished as red.
Guild Crest Location: The Guild insignia thing that every memeber SHOULD have on their body? Oh yes well Damien has it on his tongue, q

Personality: What comes to mind when you see Damien walking about in the guild or out on a mission is usually one of the following.
  • "Oh god...Why him."
  • "Oh what the hell...why is he even in the guild?"
  • "AH! It's Damien everyone act like your busy!"

This is because of his overall oddness as he isn't quiet, he is almost the exact opposite, always being the clumsy one that gets the spotlight put on them for random things, whether it be good...or bad. He is extremely quirky and tends to be very secretive about his business, preferably doing missions solo, or not at all. He can tend to get paranoid, I mean who wouldn't? Usually when he walks into a room he gets tons of odd looks and signs of disgust...however he seemingly doesn't care, I mean look at him! The way he struts around in his robes, what is he, a freaking librarian?!

Regardless of his appearance, he is the type of person you couldn't trust, even if you wanted to. With a nice fake inviting smile and open arms he will make you his little puppet, playing little mind games with you until he finally gets his way. To call him insane would not be an understatement, nor would it be an overstatement; you would be semi-correct as he is completely sane...when he wishes to be. This is due to the over-all information which he carries in your head, if you allow him to he will remember your heartbeat, your footsteps and even your regular breathing patterns. He is literally a walking archive of over-flowing information. The craving for information is overall can make him cocky and arrogant, however if he needs information trust me, he will get it whether it be by force or by simply trading information.

Oddities: Seemingly everything he does is odd, he isn't completely normal, nor is he insane. Overall hes just a

☺ Like 1 Music, he is a sucker for music.

☺ Like 2 Reading, this perhaps is his reason for always having those robes...maybe he is a librarian for another guild!

☺ Like 3 Tea and Food...despite his overall-weight he could probably consume half of a full course dinner made for four people, that is of course if he can
endure the cramps that come afterwards.

☺ Like 4 The Guild, disregard he doesn't know much about them, nor do they know much about him...perhaps thats the fun of the guild.

☺ Like 5 The sky, it's so expansive and magic.

☹ Dislike 1 A variety of nuts as he seems to have an minor allergic reaction to them.

☹ Dislike 2 History, it's a big lie where the victors tell the lies that everyone accepts and the losers speak truth in which they are called Sore-losers

☹ Dislike 3 Mendacity, it ties in with the dislike of history.

☹ Dislike 4 Kai, Damien believes something is off about him...and this is coming from Kai, the odd-one of the Guild.

☹ Dislike 5 Too much light, it can tend to shine through his hair and into his eye that his covered with bangs.

❤ Hobby 1 Sleeping, most days he doesn't get a ton of sleep, so whenever he does it makes sure to make the most of it.

❤ Hobby 2 "Stuff", Ironically he can get away with using the word "stuff" for whenever he goes out randomly at night, Damien can't tell if Kai approves of it or not but he has yet to be confronted about it so till this day he uses the word "stuff" as an excuse to get around.

❤ Hobby 3 Writing, it allows him to get rid of his emotions, yep! Damien the seemingly emotionless weird bastard of Fairy Tail actually has emotions!

❤ Hobby 4 Puzzles, they are great for his intricate mind.

    ❤ Hobby 5

  • Fear 1 Kai's death due to possible disbanding of the Guild.
  • Fear 2 Isako, he just doesn't like her...something about her, perhaps it's her long black hair? Hm...shes like a stuffed bunny, full of laughter but once you rip an arm off or two it's a creepy little puppet...wait, what?!
  • Fear 3 Drowning
  • Fear 4

Preferred Weapon(s): Nothing special really, a single pistol will do.

Magic: Magic...magic...OH THAT STUFF THAT YOU USE TO SHOOT FIRE, yeah I don't think Xerxes has any currently...Just kidding! I mean he had to get to S-Rank somehow...right?

Card Magic: He is seemingly quite good with magic tricks and Card Magic...get it? Magic...and tricks? Because they go together? No? Aw you suck. Wierd thing is about Damien's cards...they are all blank, so if they don't have elements in them...what are they for? [Not actually used much]

Absorption Magic: You know how I said Damien can eat like half of a full-course meal? Well yeah, this is the reason's also a rumour going around that he swallows other mages whole, like a snake. This adds even more to the overall creeper of Fairy Tail that is known as Damien. [For best results consume target dead.]

Memory Make: The true power that Damien holds within, however he rarely uses it. Perhaps hes shy? Little to no members know about this ability, perhaps Kai does due to the fact that Damien attempted to manipulate Kai's memories in an attempt to cover-up a little incident.

-Forget; An extremely hard spell to actually use Forget allows the user to "forget" any spell that he/she has memorized effectively nullifying the casting. Doing so can neutralize defenses created by the opponent, and make useless any memorized spell. The mental strain it takes to actually forget the technique is heavy and upon multiple uses can cause a user to pass out, or perhaps even die.

-Memory Make; The user employs their mind power to create a clone of themselves using the target's memories. Such clone seems to share many characteristics with a Thought Projection: the user is capable of talking through it, it is impervious to physical attacks, and, if assaulted, it will simply waver like a hologram.

Limitations: Absorption Magic leaves him vulnerable for ten minutes at most, Can only absorb one mage every four hours

Personal History: [I will probably edit this when I'm not so tired, and when I think of something FAR better, the first paragraph is roughly going to stay the same however.]

Damien's whole life was a lie that he created with Memory Make magic when he was younger to destroy anything and everything he find negative, evidently as a child he found a ton of things negative, forcing him to just replace his whole life up until the age of fourteen where the real memories actually begin.

Theme Song: On the Verge of Insanity - Bleach OST 2

Other: He enjoys sweets, way too much.

So begins...

Kai Fetegori

It was another one of those days in the guild. Not in a bad way obviously. Kai loved his guild, and everyone in it; Layden, the Lualdi siblings, Seraphina, Enna, Daimen, Soriu, Acelin, Zephyrine, Hiromi, Kento, Kisara, Andrea, (Even) Jikan, Roxie, Will, Soran, Zwein, and Rosas. He loved everyone in it with his life and would do anything to protect it. Saying that it was another normal day was good because no harm or danger would come to them. That's what made him so glad.

Though, Kai was also glad because he could sleep in. Perhaps he was the guild master, a very powerful mage who reigned over a whole entire guild, but he was also an old man, despite his youthful appearance. Old men have to get extra sleep to you know? He didn't mind though because most of the guild members didn't mind, so he got at least a few extra minutes in, just hoping it wouldn't be too loud on the bottom floor where everyone would drink and eat and do their daily business.

The Lualdi Siblings

Isako was sitting down at a table on the bottom floor. She was one of the first ones to get up, earlier than most, and sat down there for around a whole hour and a half. She didn't mind though. It was due to the fact that her health was in a strange condition and she had a few problems here and there. Quietly, she sipped a bit of tea from her cup, and put it back down as she got up to look at the bulletin board for any new quests that she may be able to handle alone, although that would be quite difficult.

Her brother though, Shibuya, just like the guild master, was still in bed, but he was a bit more active than that, seeing how he wasn't an old man. He was up, but he was tired, getting up most times even after Kai would wake up. While walking out of his apartment, which was about four blocks from Fairy Tail, he began to wonder what quest he would take. But while thinking, he entered Fairy Tail without realizing, and immediately tripped on some water spilt near the entrance from the fresh rain a day ago.

"There's water there." Isako said without having to turn around, although her comment was a bit late for her brother to hear, seeing how she said it just after he slipped.

"Thanks..." Shibuya answered with a grumble as he got up, rubbing his forehead where he fell first and where the impact of the fall was.

Jikan hadn't slept in days, and it wasn't bothering because she chose not to. She's stayed awake longer, and she didn't care. She didn't care about anything for that fact actually. From the upper floor, she looked around, trying to find the guild master, but when she didn't, Jikan smirked as she leaned on the wooden rail so she wouldn't fall, "That lazy old man... Who knows what could go wrong when you're sleeping past the accidents." She chuckled while moving her black hair out of her face but then became expressionless the next moment and said quietly underneath her breath to herself, "Boring. I can't do anything right now other than watch."

Sleeping in the corner of the Guilds main area, a little bit away from the notice board, upon a rickety old bench, was the young man known as Kento. He didn't really have a home outside the guild so the Master had been kind enough to let him live there for... well, quite literally as long as he could remember. Yes, he had amnesia, no he still hadn't remember, yes it was very annoying, no he did NOT feel like talking about it... actually he didn't much feel like talking about anything. He was asleep after all. Key word: WAS, a loud thud from near the Guilds entrance startled him and abruptly awoke him from his fairly comfortable slumber.

"Gah!" Kento shot up from the bench and quickly lost his balance, slipping to the left and falling off, making his own dull thud as he pounded against the floor. He then let out two loud groans, one for the fact that he had fallen asleep on a bench.... and nobody had woken him up... again... the second, because he had hit his head... hard. As he gathered himself and stood up, he saw familiar faces and heard familiar voices as he quickly came to terms with who exactly had woken him up. "Of course!..." He let out a complaint from his fairly loud voice. "The two Lualdis, a hint of sarcasm and extreme levels of clumsiness oh and look, Blind Irons here too! Not to mention a whole lot of ignorance for disturbing my sleep, honestly Isako, at least try to warn your brother about these things beforehand yeah? He woke me up and... let's be honest... he isn't going to notice it by himself. Plus, even though Blind Iron here's getting better at moving his way around, doesn't mean he has the magical ability to sense Shibuyas sprawled out body." Kento furiously rubbed the sleep from his eyes approached the board that Isako was so carefully examining and quickly grabbed and took the first job request he saw before shoving it into his pocket. It didn't appear he had even bothered to read it. Kento would often do this, take random jobs, shoving them into his pocket to be read and completed later on in the day.

Damien then arrived and Kento simply shrugged him off with a slight nod and a quick. "G'morning Psychopath."

Then, as if it was all part of a terrible routine, (because it kind of was) he sat at a random table and unleashed a semi-loud cry from his lungs. "Soran, breakfast would be good, yeah? Thanks!" A grumpy and tired tone being the one in which he spoke these words.

Soran slowly approached the large building of the Fairy Tail guild, his typical casual wear on and his signature satchel tossed over his shoulder. He went in through a back entrance, one of those side doors that lead straight into the kitchens, he quickly set his things down and set out to work, quietly setting out various pots and pans needed to prepare breakfast for whomever wanted it. This was his routine every morning, no exciting adventure, no special journey or exploration to be had, just... cooking. Now, don't get me wrong he loved cooking, but the cry for adventure and the lust for excitement was really starting to get to him. He felt that if things continued at that rate he migh-

"Soran, breakfast would be good, yeah? Thanks!"

Like a horrid alarm clock set to break his chain of thought, Kentos voice rang through Sorans ears. In response to this, Soran walked out into the main area.

"Yes Kento, I know, we do this every morning you don't need to keep reminding me. Now how do you want you... Oh." Soran froze for a moment as he noticed everyone else, feeling slightly awkward for some reason as he did so. "Ehm, sorry everyone, I didn't even realise you were here..." Soran scratched the back of his head and cracked an awkward smile. "Well either way... I don't suppose you guys are hungry?"

Rosas Zero

Rosas looked in the direction of Soran's voice "Sure, some food sounds good" then turned to face where he heard Kento "Do I have to tell you every single time that I don't like being called Blind Iron! I do have a name you know!" Rosas semi-yelled, annoyed. He carefully crawled to a spot where he could get up and dust himself off. When he was finished getting up he quickly sat down at the nearest spot at the nearest table, which, (un)luckily for him, was right across from Kento. It took him a few moments to realize this, but he didn't want to go to another table, and appear rude. At least Rosas was trying to be nice. "Soooo" Rosas said, trying to do small talk "Anythng new with you Kento?". Rosas had already forgotten that he was annoyed with Kento.

[Derp, 600 word post]

Damien's eyes darted from side to side as they surveyed the area around him. What they didn't see was Kai which could only mean two things; either Kai was dead, or sleeping...hopefully it was the latter but Damien was no fool and knew that wasn't a possibility...yet. Damien sat down at a table across from Isako as he couldn't stand being close to her something her just irked Damien the wrong way, perhaps it was the fact she looked like a little rabbit? Damien always did not like rabbits, especially white ones. Beside the rabbit fact she always seemed to stare at him as if she had some deep down connection of hate for Damien, then again that's completely possible as Damien destroyed his whole past and the fact that well...hes an asshole and he could name quite few people off the top of his head that don't like him. Regardless however the Guild was quiet, which was a surprise, Damien questioned whether he should take a quest now, or later. Kai wasn't getting up any time soon, no one would really question him and the faster he got the quest done, the better.

Just as he was about to get up there was a large crash sound coming from the entrance, his eyes darted over towards the door and he saw Shibuya laid out flat on the floor like a rag-doll. Shibuya mean't nothing to Damien, which mean't he could continue on with his routine.

"There's water there."

"Ah hello Shibuya...someone really should clean that up, where is Will when we need him? Silly little D-class mage..." Was all Damien muttered.

Damien grinned as he lazily pushed his stiff body out from the chair that rested nicely behind the table. He got up in a stumble, almost as if he was drunk, which he wasn't, mind you. He rubbed his tired baggy eyes that were reaching their limit due to his 3-Day nonstop questing. He attempted to walk towards the quest-board without any stumbles as he was extremely careful to avoid any unnecessary attention.

Just as he arrived at the board there was another crash then a frail little voice was heard over the screams of pain.

"Alright, who are the ones on the floor?"

"Dumb ass..." Damien mumbled under his breath, just loud enough so anyone within a couple of feet of him could hear.

Once he arrived at the board his eyes began running over the quests, taking each one's specifications in along with their rewards in an alarming rate, this however was due to his memory make...His trump card so to say, little to no people knew about it, perhaps Kai does but Damien doubted he would tell anyone. As he was looking at the quests a voice from the side of him was trying to get inside his head, he had automatically recognized the voice as Kento's.

"G'morning Psychopath." This made Damien grin, he would get Kento back...later however. Perhaps a bucket of water would be nice, regardless he had a quest to do...and time was essential for this quest. He headed for the door, regardless if Rosas and Shibuya were still on the floor, if he had to he would step on them to get out the door.

He arrived in front of the two and looked down on them, the same way as a mother looks down on a child who has done wrong.

"Both of you quit fooling around, I have a time-essential quest and I will not let you be the cause of my failure..."

"Kento!" Damien yelled back through the doorway. "Take care of these two children while I'm gone...consider it baby sitting! I'll pay you once I get finished with this quest." He chuckled and ran as fast as he could, how great it felt to be out of that bird cage, the wind in his face...and most of all, to be away from Kai.

Kento yawned loudly. "You know the deal Soran, eggs, fried, done well, good job."

He smirked and gave Soran a sarcastic thumbs up that he probably meant in a genuine way. Before turning to Rosas, who had sat down across from him.

"New? Nope, nothing I can think of... I suppose there was that dark mage yesterdays, real idiot he was, started bullying this new guild the next town over, demanding money for "Protection", you know the type." Kento began telling the story, with a semi-lazy tone to his voice. "I was there anyway y'see, taking care of a job when I saw the guy, then I took out my baby..." He pulled the pistol from his pocket and tapped it a few times to show Rosas that he had it out. "... and the guy turns out to be a wimp, runs at the first site of a weapon. Still, once less asshole jerk on the streets am I right? I'm right." Kento put his weapon away. "What about you Bli-... ehm, Rosas, anything new?"

Before he got an answer however, he smirked back at Damien. "Well hey as long as I'm getting paid you freaking Lunatic!" He would often call Damien such things, half jest and half serious, he actually quite liked Damien, he found him funny, unlike most others. Kento turned back to Rosas.

"Anyway where were we?"

Soran took out a notepad and began recording down who wanted what, Kento wanted his eggs, as usual, Damien had left so it was doubtful he wanted anything to eat and Rosas had requested something.Looking up from his notepad, Soran spoke up. "Right then anybody else? Oh and Rosas is there anything specific you wanted? Or will you just have what Kento's having?"

The Lualdi Siblings

"Ah hello Shibuya...someone really should clean that up, where is Will when we need him? Silly little D-class mage..."

Shibuya growled as he got off the floor and dusted himself, "Second time falling today... What a pain... And hell yeah someone should clean that up! Just watch another person slip and break an arm! You're right actually, that kid has to get these things done since no one else will!"

His sister gave him a slight nudge with a frown, as a warning of course, but she didn't like it when he brother was harsh. But she wasn't only looking at her brother, her eyes followed Daimen, almost as if she was cautious of him, but shook her head a moment later and returned to what she was doing.

"Alright, who are the ones on the floor?"

Shibuya ignored this voice, only complaining about his own health, since he was pretty much cold and heatless. Some even wonder how the guild puts up with his behavior, but some how, a few people apparently got used to it such as his sister, "Oi! Blind kid! At least try and feel your way around rather than have to trip over someone!"

"Don't be so rude Shibuya." Isako gave him a small friendly glare with a smile though he knew it was a bit threatening not to be mean. She then turned back to Rosas and answered, "I'm sorry for my brother's attitude dear, are you alright? Oh never mind me, of course you are, you strong little dragon slayer." She giggled, though her voice was just as matured as a woman's.

"The two Lualdis, a hint of sarcasm and extreme levels of clumsiness oh and look, Blind Irons here too! Not to mention a whole lot of ignorance for disturbing my sleep, honestly Isako, at least try to warn your brother about these things beforehand yeah?"

"Oh I have tried." Isako said, tearing down a paper from the board and looking down at it to see if it was right for her level of ability, "But I think it's a bit more fun to let him trip instead. You have to learn your lesson, it's been the third time this week."

Shibuya turned to Kento and simply said, "Back off." He was always in a bad mood, and after tripping, he was in an even worse mood.

"Right then anybody else?"

"I don't want to take food from a kid." Shibuya said before bumping into his sister, a bit forcefully before walking off for a glass of water. He wasn't the type of person to eat, well... at least, most times, he tried not to show it. It wasn't because he hated her, he cared for her dearly, but it's what all siblings go through; Rivalry.

Isako sighed at her brother's stubbornness and told Soran with a small motherly smile, "I'll just get anything for him. The poor thing doesn't know how much he eats anymore." She said with a laugh.

(Kai's still asleep! Got 100 words left and gotta use it wisely!)

Jikan was feeling a bit drowsy from her lack of sleep, 'Strange... I never get this tired...' She sighed while putting a hand to her forehead. She didn't have a fever, but she was sure that her insomnia's payment was coming up. She laid her hear onto the railing, her black hair falling just over and was about to shut her eyes until she heard the blasts of people's voices.

She grumbled a bit, a frown on her face as she lifted herself once more and shouted, a straight face, not angry, but loud enough for everyone to hear, "Kids, the guild master is sleeping. If you do not want to wake him or anger me, please settle down and try to be less obnoxious."

Damien was at least a couple hundred feet from the Guild, which was good. He could relax and actually read over the quest without anyone bothering him, what was that feeling called? Peace? No, was tranquil. He took the old fragile piece of paper out of his pocket and gently folded it out in front of him, a rogue mage that when fought could apparently wipe your memories clean. This was exactly what he was looking for, however a direct approach would be next to pointless as two Memory-Make mages fighting is primarily based on illusionary tactics.

The quest would give you 150,000Image and whatever else the mage has on little for an S-Class, they are withholding information, extremely vital information. The quest giver's name was familiar, after closer inspection it hit Damien, he runs a tavern not too far from the base, an old friend of Kai's. Damien looked around, and when he was sure no one else was looking he swallowed the quest whole as he had memorized the information completely.

He headed off towards the Tavern with light-interrogation in mind.

He arrived at the tavern, it was old and the smell of alchohol could be smelt from outside the door, yells of drunken men and laughter could be heard inside, a typical tavern Damien thought...a typical tavern. He went for the doorknob but realized that his entrance should be grand, especially considering he is an S-Class mage. He chuckled and kicked the door down, sending it flying into the bar room, mages ducked in fear of having their head being removed from their head due to the high speed of the door.

Damien strutted into the room as if he was a king of some sort. He spun around and sat on the bar stool. The barkeep grinned and leaned in and whispered into Damien's ear. "What's with the flashy entrance? Also why the hell are you here in the first place?"

Damien stole a mug from a man sitting next to him and swallowed the beverage whole before sliding the cup back to the man. "Thanks." Damien licked his lips and glared at the barkeep. "David...right? I'm here on buisiness, you put a quest up in our base...and I accepted it...I know your holding some information in, and I wan't you to tell me...EVERYTHING." Damien grabbed David by the shirt collar and stared into his eyes.

"I'm a friend of Kai, is that really wise?" He mustered out. "Hes asleep right now...maybe your screams might wake him up...but until then." Damien reached into his pocket and slammed a deck of cards onto the table. "Let's play a game..."

"Oh and your card tricks, what do you want? Anything but that."

"I want information, why is the bounty for this quest so low?!" Damien let go of David and picked up a card out of the deck, it was an Ace...and Ace of spades, one of the few cards that Damien had that wasn't completely blank. He slyly placed the card on the bar so David wouldn't see it.

"Oh, that...well you se-" He was cut off mid-sentence by an angered Damien.

"CUT THE CRAP, I want you to tell it to flat out...take a shortcut, but make full of life." Damien scowled at David.

"Right, hes like you...except perhaps even less sane. A memory make wizard that looks for people who steal spells from, he contacted me to have wizards foolish enough to fight him come towards him...the location on that quest is a lie, it's a trap...if you want to see him go to the middle of town, by the well...The reason for the bounty being so low? Ah well once you see what he has on him you will realize why it's so low. Now get out of here before I tell Kai!"

"Whatever..." Damien shrugged and stood up. He placed his left index finger and middle finger to his temple then walked outside. He swiftly turned around and snapped his fingers, causing a white light to shoot out from the tavern. "Memory-Make...Forgetfulness....Now where is that well?"

Damien had been walking for good half an hour, never had he recalled a well in town, and trust me he had a good enough memory to remember a well in a town made out of wells. He eventually made his way to the town square and looked around. His eyes surveyed the area once again, looking out for anything interesting and that was when he finally noticed it, he had been walking in circles for the past half an hour, no matter how straight he went he would always wind up at the town square. "Perhaps was, that's impossible." He mumbled some curse words under hsi rbeath and ran up to a civilian and attempted asking them a regular question. No answer, not even a single response. It was concealment magic, or perhaps illusion magic.

Damien hadn't known when or how it happened, but that was the least of his worries, he could stay like this forever, technically trapped in an alternate world, or so it seemed like due to the lack of communication with anyone. He decided it was best to wait for the mysterious mage, he sat on the ground in the middle of town, completely ignored by the rest of the world...except the one mage. His weary yet tired eyes quickly began to slowly close, putting Damien into a deep sleep.

After an unknown amount of time something cut Damien's face, or just slit it...perhaps it was a leaf. Damien pressed his hand up to his cheek and felt a warm liquid oozing out...Now aware that the mage decided to show his face Damien withdrew his deck of cards and held them tightly. "So...rogue mage, how is life?" Damien said, referring to a presence he had felt behind him.

Clap...clap...clap "Hah, never seen you around here..." Said the mafe in a cocky manner.

"Good...that means a few things...I can end you faster and I can turn this quest in asap." Damien quickly drew a card from his deck and turned around and threw the card at the mage at a high speed. The mage was about as tall as Damien he had yellow hair and was wearing jeans and a hoodie. The mage attempted to move out of the way of the card but he was too slow...and the card moved with him. The card sliced him directly in the cheek before dissolving into ash.

"A cheek for a cheek?" Damien asked in a light tone, almost jokingly.

"Hm, haven't heard that before..." The mage was stalling, his fingers were already on his temples which mean't only one thing, he was preparing a spell.

Damien ran in with cards in-between his finger as if they were throwing knives. "You can only forget moves you know...and trust me you haven't met me!" Damien hit the mage directly in the gut with his kneecap, sending him sprawling into the air. He proceeded to attack the mage by throwing the cards up into the air, he tilted his head slightly upwards to ensure every single one hit. With one simple gesture he ended the battle *snap*

Four to five explosions could be heard directly behind Damien and seemingly everyone looked around at Damien with an odd look on their face, some even looked away and covered their children's eyes. He swiftly turned around by spinning on the back of his ankle and looked at what should be a body but was only a card lying face down on the floor. "Perhaps it already happened?" Damien said as he picked up the card. He flipped it over and was astonished at what he saw, it was not the man's face plastered onto a card but instead a whole new deck of cards. It wasn't a memory however as he couldn't activate it with his memory magic. Perhaps it was a literal object? Regardless the quest was over, hopefully.

Some time later Damien made his way back to the tavern and received his reward. David, the barkeep was weary if the wizard was actually dead, but he had no counter-proof so paid Damien in full and sent him on his merry way. Damien wasn't happy about this low reward and the mysterious cards in a card didn't help, in-fact it made it even worse. The mage could very well be alive and Damien failed the mission! Oh how that would bring such shame to Fairy Tail...Bah! Who cared anyway? Perhaps Kai or something...Damien could always say he let him go because he felt sor- HAH! Right. Sorry for someone? Damien had rarely felt 'sorry' for anyone. The word is most likely not even in his vocabulary.

On his way back to the Fairy Tail base something startled him, and trust me startle was another word that most likely wasn't in Damien's personal dictionary. A thought popped into his head suddenly, one that couldn't have been projected from his own just...entered his memory. The mage took the shot to knee to the gut, but why? Damien had felt little to no resistance from the boy. Even if surprise was an element Damien had been fighting too long to not know what a false fight was. Either that really wasn't him or he vanished out at the last second. He shook the thought clear out of his head and toward the Guild. The door was up ahead, but he would rather not deal with the constant yelling that was Fairy Tail. Instead he took a more quiet approach and laid down on a bench under an apple tree that was a couple of feet next to the Guild. He liked the cool fresh shade that the tree provided Damien, and in return...well Damien decided not to cut the damn thing down. He gently closed his eyes, not wishing to enter a sleep but more of a meditative state in which his mind was blank and just for a little bit...he had peace.

a light blush covered her cheeks when he helped her up but then they just got redder as she got mad again.

“Hope Roxie's okay!” He remarked concern obvious in his voice.

Roxie glared at him then in one swift movement punched him in the gut. "of course im okay you twit! why wouldnt i!?nor do i want to play some kid game!" she said angrily closing her eyes in anger, after swatting away his hand.

turning away Roxie folded her arms across her chest, cracked open one eye and puffed out her cheeks. "but thanks for the concern" she had said it in such a hushed and gentle tone no one would have thought possible.

blushing even more Roxie glared over her shoulder at Will and left. but instead of going through the guilds buildjng Roxie went around. the whole way she mumbled to herself about squierrles and childish people. that is until she found Damien on a bench, for a moment she thought he was dead but saw the small rise and fall of his chest.

"oh well that sucks one less crazy person in the world" she growled. then proping her fists on her hips Roxie frowned and opened her mouth speaking loudly in his ear. "you know people are going to think your dead, sleeping the way you do" flicking his forhead with one finger. if he did wake up he would have been met by a chesire cat smile and mishevious blue eyes.

Damien twitched at the hard annoying flick at his forehead. He swatted the hand away like a cat would swat at a rat. He lazily woke up, arms stiff and legs numb from the cold wind. Still half asleep he rolled over and faced the back of the bench, not wanting to see the person who annoyed him. "Zzzz...Who was foolish enough to attempt to wake me?" He quickly began to drift back into his sleep until words awoke him.

"you know people are going to think your dead, sleeping the way you do"

The voice was soft and innocent, too innocent. After memorizing the normal tone of voices for every member of Fairy Tail Damien recognized this harmonic voice belonged to Roxie, a very young and naive member of Fairy Tail. They shared the same white hair but had completely different attitudes...then again nearly EVERYONE has a completely different attitude than Damien, except Jikan...but Jikan is a completely different story. He once again rolled over, this time to face Roxie and smiled gently. He took her left hand in his hands and stared at the Guild Crest, it's pure authenticity of a sign that your in Fairy Tail. He made his once gentle grip around Roxie's hand even tighter, not enough to cause pain but enough to show that he wasn't messing around.

"Roxie, I like you...I really do. But as much as you, no EVERYONE knows in this Guild waking me up is equivalent to taking a cub from a mother bear. I understand, your curious and innocent but waking me up is ALWAYS a bad call." He stared into her eyes and increased his grip even more, enough to cause some pain. "But..." The grin then turned into a blissful smile as he let go of her hand. He stood up from off the bench and patted Roxie on the forehead. "I needed to get up anyway so thank you, is Kai awake yet? I have some things I want to talk about."

rolling her eyes at his comment, Roxie scowled at him. but then a look of surprise flashed across her face when he took her hand, examining her guild mark. his grip on her hand tightened some then a little bit more. this made her frown in concern, not knowing what he'll do next.

his eyes upon hers unnerved her and she looked away in fusteration at having lost the stare of dominace. expecting him to punish her Roxie was surprised by the pat on her head looked up this time at Damien. that same scowl as before came back, but evetually turned to a glare. "the heck would i know i came through the back. why dont you go see for yourself you crazy fool" sticking her tongue out at him, Roxie then scurried away.

Rocie kept a grip on her guitar poised to swing incase Damien decided to go after her for her words. then she grinned, hoping he would simply for the thrill of the chase; even if she was the one being chased. Roxie held her arms out, as if imitating a bird. her brow creased with determination as she ran to her hideout. she ran straight for the old building, ran as far up the wall as gravity could take, then reached for the window ledge she knew was there after years of going through the same routine.

squatting in the window sill Roxie looked over her shoulder, sheilding her eyes from the morning sun. releasing a sigh of releif that Damien hadnt followed her at least not that she could tell. shivering a little Roxie jumped down onto a few boxes and began her decent downwards. she landed on hard concrete, forming a makeshift cone with her hands Roxie hollered out "coast is clear" her voice echoed throughout the building. suddenly a bunch of kids more or less around her age stepped out from their hidding places, all smiles. soon after Roxie got the whole thing situated music began to play from the building, it wa petty good music too, though every now and then it would cut off and restart but on a diffrent note. you could even hear the sounds of laughter as it drifted through the winds.
