Gender:Male
Mage:Caster Mage
Element/Magic: His type of magic is to be able to change his appearance completely, even imitate a person's voice exactly the same as well. He doesn't use it very often, usually just to play pranks or as a daily kind of switch, but what he does use regularly, is shadow magic. Its not his favorite since he finds it as dark, and sometimes a bit evil, and has trouble controlling it sometimes, having a fear of losing control.

Appearance:Shibuya's appearances are exactly opposite. Some wonder how he is able to look so different, but it's because of his personality as well, and just some strange trait he got from his mother's side, looking almost like a whole different person when in the darkness. In the light, his hair is a blondish grey, and his eyes being a strange shade of red. He's usually seen with bandages all over his face and body, left from scars from battles, or just him hurting himself since he's a bit clumsy. He wears asymmetrical clothing that has bright and vivid colors, almost being impossible to forget because of how noticeable he is. He's not very weak at all. Although Shibuya's arms don't look very strong, he can lift more than a grown man somehow, and that he doesn't know how to explain either, but doesn't mind since it's a unique skill.
But during the night, or when he's in completely darkness, with the help of his magic, he turns to be like a completely different person, having messy black hair, but still keeping his blood red eyes. Not only does his hair color change, but his clothing does also, almost like a glitch in a computer. He tends to wear earphones, listening to loud rock music and a yellow and black jacket over a plain and loose red shirt. Hanging from his neck is a gas mask which he doesn't use very often, but does help his sight in the dark since he isn't accustomed to seeing without light like most people.
He tends not to accept other people's opinions of suggestions, even if they're more than helpful, because he thinks he's being set down to a lower level than he should be. He's always defending his own opinion, and shoving away other people's opinions. Many get angry at him because of this, and he's honestly a bit hurt deep down, but knows he won't be able to change, so he does nothing about it and just accepts what has happened. He's someone who doesn't dwell too much on past experiences, but he does make a few exceptions a few times.
Shibuya is also very much of a klutz. He hates to admit it, so he never does, but it is obvious once someone gets to know him well enough. He'll accidentally run into things without knowing it while he's looking away. He'll also sometimes slip on the ground during a battle, ending up in him failing quite a few missions and quests, especially the ones where he's put into a lot of pressure. Another reason that shows why he always has so many bandages and injuries.
But even with his cold and frustrating behavior, Shibuya has a side almost like a brother, being very kind, even as embarrassing as it may be. It may only be for a split second, but he knows that he's also got that soft side to him, just that he has difficulties expressing it since it basically opposes his main personality. He really wants to be that sort of person, one who can be loved by everyone and admired, but not matter what he does, he just can't change, and it only frustrates him more, so his caring personality only turns up when he doesn't try.

Bio:Shibuya grew up under his mother after his father left as a drunk gambler. He was also left with his sister, Isako, who is his only family at the moment. They lived in a town, a very poor town where they had to steal food and everything else to live. His sister was fragile, and his mother was ill, so only he could take care of his family. Yet doing so got him into a lot of trouble. He was beaten constantly for stealing, and even had a few bones broken once. He didn't mind the pain though since he use to be selfless (he still is although he doesn't show it) and only cared about his family. It wasn't very bad, only broken bones and bruises and scars, but eventually, one of the richer citizens of that town caught him stealing a vase from his house when he was only 11 years old, and took it too far.
The rich man pulled him aside for a few days, Shibuya being unable to take care of his family, and tortured him like a slave. It was a whole week later when he was dumped out of the rich man's house, his eyes red and bleeding, and his sight taken away from him. He roamed around, looking like someone who had risen from the dead, trying to find his home again, sightless. For another whole week, his sight never returned, and he continued wandering, being unable to find his home, until he suddenly got his eyes back again. The bleeding stopped, but his eyes became a red color, but luckily, his sight was back, and he finally found his home. Sadly, he came back too late.
His sister was no longer in the house, and he had no clue where she had went, but he did find his mother who was laying down on the dirty bed they always slept on. His mother was affected by some sort of illness, and because they were poor, they had no money to treat it and had no idea it was deadly. Shibuya's mother died a few days before he returned, both from the illness, and the hunger without food for two whole weeks.
The house was burnt down a month later by the other citizens of that town, and Shibuya was forced to watch his mother's corpse burn with such a terrible leave from the earth. A day later, they threw him out of the town, banning him from returning as he wandered around until he found this large and rich town of Magnolia. There, he found the guild called Fairy Tail where the guild's master accepted him into it without looking at him twice. Shibuya grew up there ever since he was 12, reuniting with his twin sister who had also joined the guild after she noticed her brother's leave. Since his only family is his sister, he sees Fairy Tail as his second family, and hopes to truly be accepted by everyone, and not just into the guild itself.
The Tournament
Shibuya, as said before, was a competitor for becoming an S Class. Apparently, Kai figured he had the talent to be one, and put his name on the roster. He didn't know why honestly, but his dream was always to become an S Class, so he accepted. It was silly really, seeing how a little 15 year old wanted to raise so high into the ranks at such a young age, but he had the spirit. He was with his past team then (who now left the guild) and began the contest with them as well. The team decided to stick together and then battle at the very end, but Shibuya, forgetting this and ignoring it really, went ahead of his party, and went to the last battle possible. Many people didn't like him back then, so once they saw him taking on the final battle, they weren't cheering. In fact, they were a bit angered that such a little brat would actually try to become an S Class. But Shibuya did make it in the end, and with a large show too. He got frustrated that the battle was taking so long, and made a large blow, which was the accident since it was impossible for him to produce such immense magic. That, and he was never really in control of his magic either, so it was just a blast of his anger that showed. Still, he made it to S Class, but when he looks back onto it, he knows that it was all just an accident, and he really does have a long way to go if he's going to really be an S Class.
