The color of ravens and naturally curly, Nomi's curls resemble tight corkscrews and, because of her natural hair remedies, and usually resemble a voluminous mesh of softness. However, she does have a tendency to straighten it, but never for long. She goes between softer curls, her natural curls, and occasionally straight and in up-dos depending on the day.

There are no notable scars on Naomi's body or even the beauty marks her mother has, much to Naomi's chagrin. She has the standard ear piercing some girls' families will force them to get from a young age and she surprised Nana with getting a belly button piercing. As of right now, she has no tattoos and does not plan on getting one.

It's easy to assume that Naomi is just a show off. In a sense, she kinda is. Only she can walk around campus wearing designer brands that most of the Fulton University students couldn't afford with manicures and pedicures that cost a lot more than the cheap ones you get at the corner nail salon downtown. She is an Alpha and a socialite, after all, and so the best of the best is going to be in her wardrobe. She never does not look good and her perfectionism extends even to her fashion. At the same time, it should be noted that she does know how to be casual and does so frequently. But of course, name brands make it impossible to note that.
✦ Always seems to smell like shea butter and vanilla, with just a hint of spice ✧ When angry, she goes from English to Bajan (a mixture of English and Barbadian dialect that not most English speakers understand) and back to English without even realizing it ✦ Very expressive and almost can never control her facial expressions ✧ Typically sleeps in over-sized shirts she's probably stolen from her male friends ✦ She has been diagnosed with a caffeine addiction and must have at least two cups a day in the largest size or else she will start having withdrawn. Headaches, fatigue, anxiety, a lot of irritability, a depressed mood, difficulty concentrating ✧ Dedicates an entire day, once a month, to her hair's moisture retention and only uses natural hair remedies ✦ Babbles and recognizes that she's babbling, even calls herself on it if she's nervous. Naomi can fill the void during a tense situation with simply talking, especially if you get her talking about algorithms or even movies and fashion. It's when she's saying nothing that there is a serious problem. ✧ Stress cleans. Yeah, the girl who will remind you that she can get someone to do it for her cleans profusely when there's a problem she is struggling to solve or can no longer stare at a computer.

Her number one greatest joy, even above music, is having her Nana. Her grandmother raised her when her father would not and Naomi feels undoubtedly grateful of that unconditional love. She loves spending time with the older woman, calling her every Sunday after church, and seeing her grandmother's face first whenever she gets on a plane ride back to California. ✦ Surprisingly enough, science and technology brings her joy, even more so than shopping. It's what she's most familiar with and in all honesty, despite her denial, it's the one thing that makes her feel connected to her father other than the blood they share. ✧ Spending time with friends because of regardless of their differences, her friends are her friends. She might be the neurotic control freak who hardly lets anyone ruffle her perfect feathers and always has to be doing something, but the one thing she has yet to truly deny is that she likes spending time with her friends, doing mindless things. It makes her feel accepted and it is only with them that she is her most pliable, complicit. ✦ Coffee, all day every day. She has a caffeine addiction, of course coffee is going to be a joy of hers and she has fallen in love with Cuban espresso. ✧Despite saying that she doesn't really have plans for kids, Naomi absolutely loves them! Which is why she's always volunteering with the science department to get little ones involved in the sciences and math.

If there is one person who probably has everyone fooled, it is Naomi Malone-Ellison. It is quite easy for everyone to think that she's a neurotic control freak whose probably on crack with the endless energy she seems to have coursing through her veins. Naomi is always on the move - or, to be more exact, she is always working. Always seeking to gain more knowledge and experience, always looking for more solutions and answers to problems. She is always trying to create something or fix something. Naomi is a highly intelligent young woman, a trait she shares with her father, along with a deep love for computer technologies and engineering. She is the type to see a project through, never faltering - even when it means losing out on sleep - and she seems to be able to remain her usually bubbly, amicable self. At least, amicable in the sense that her natural poise and charm sublimates her casual arrogance and occasional bouts of callous hedonism. It's safe to say that despite the fact that she seems to be able to enthrall people enough with her fearless charisma, she can also remind people how she might have become an Alpha. Outgoing and outspoken, Naomi is both an indomitable force and also a controlling one. She has to have control - it's her MO and despite what others might have to say about it, she does control very well. She can be quick on the draw when it comes to comeback and if you ask Naomi, she doesn't technically have to always have the last word, but it's preferred. It usually happens - she doesn't take responsibility for that. And she can be biting. As great as she is with being someone that people at least like on a surface level where she just seems like she's an energetic and really smart sweetheart who can probably gush over schematics but also shopping as well, she also has the capacity to hurt people, especially in defense of her feelings or someone she cares about. Naomi is brutal and can be cruel, and can seem self-serving and entirely cutthroat when she feels the need to be. At the same time, the problem is that she always feels like she needs to be.
Naomi can be a talker just as much as she is a doer, and the issue with her talking is that sometimes, she's not really saying anything. Not what she needs to, anyway. Especially when it comes to her feelings. After all, underlying the fact that this girl will have you thinking that she believes that she's the sweetest thing since ice cream, is a rather low and nonexistent self-worth that sometimes her friends can't see. And that's because Naomi is deceitful - a lot better than most would presume. It helps, when you are trying to read her, that she is expressive. The issue is that she has learned how to compartmentalize to the point that her poker face suddenly exacerbates her expressiveness. Meaning that just as she is swift with shutting a person down and probably cutting it deep for them, she is just as quick in hiding her own hurt. You might have caught the glimmer and you may even try to hold on to that - that one inkling of genuine emotion that Naomi allowed you to see for just a second - but she'll swallow it all down and it disappears as if it were never there in the first place. After years of neglect from her father and a mother that didn't even stay long enough to tell her she was unwanted, Naomi has learned to build up the seemingly arrogant hedonist and perfectionist that most people assume she is. Despite her intelligence and the fact that something like that should be acknowledged, Naomi makes sure that your attention is on the fact that she takes the Alphas to the spa at least once a week and is consistently on social media painting the picture that she is having the time of her life when, in reality, she would rather be with a small group watching movies and honestly, having the familial bond only her grandmother was able to give her. She spends money on people as a sign of affection because that's what she has learned, she seems to act without thinking (though that's debatable considering the fact that her mind moves rather quickly to the point that she has to rely on sticky notes to remember all the smaller details), and she has a long list of part-time boyfriends but nothing actually long-lasting.
Her greatest fear is being alone and yet, even though most assume that she's the easy to read book from a first glance, Naomi is the first person to push someone away. Why? Because she knows that she craves acceptance and affection, particularly because she was never granted it from her half-siblings and father, and she knows that she's possessive. She hates when it feels like she can be replaced and combined with that previously mentioned low sense of self-worth, she genuinely would believe that someone else would be better for the people she cares about. She would rather be the one to push you away and leave you with the memory of a good time, than be the one left behind because you discovered she wasn't good enough. So, she'll push you away - using whatever resources at her command - until you either give up or realize that she really isn't worth it. After all, her father made it clear that she wasn't good for anything other than science. So, she does her work like the good perfectionist that she is, all the while giving you the allusion that she's just another rich girl who blows all of Daddy's money. Larry Ellison does it, why shouldn't she? It's the only way they seem to be able to be on the same page, anyway.

In all honesty, much like going to a school that her father didn't get accepted into, pledging wasn't a thing Naomi came and said she would do. She actually had no intention of doing anything other than her induction into honor societies. She was first approached by the Thetas and would've joined them had it not seemed that, for a second, her Dad was interested in her involvement with the Alphas. Since his first wife was an actual member. So, what did Naomi do? She pledged. He didn't attend her probate or anything like that, but it had been enough, then, to say she had his attention. It helped that she ended up making a few good friends.

Despite being one of the youngest of the billionaire, Larry Ellison's entourage of children, Naomi is the main one who wants to get her father's company, Oracle, back under the family name. At the time, he had selfishly given it away and while the family has majority shares and still sits on he executive board, Naomi wants it under her belt. So, she's planning on going to MIT immediately after graduating from Fulton while working with the company since she was assured a role. She wants to expand and build upon the foundation her father has already set in place, and further the economic success of the Ellison family. Secretly, she wants to build a love for science and mathematics in young girls in Barbados and start a scholarship for girls from developing countries who want to study math and science, and start an internship program with Oracle for women of color since there isn't one currently.
The only children the public is most familiar with are David and Megan Ellison, which is no fault of Naomi's (though, if you asked her and she was drunk or tired enough to say it, she would blame herself), and the only reason that is the case is because, well, papa was a rolling stone and was really good at keeping his affairs a secret. Which, when you think of how flashy Ellison is and how much he revels in letting people see the splendor and decadence of his lifestyle, is just a bit discombobulating. Either way, from what has already been described, it's safe to say that Naomi was a result of the many reasons why Larry Ellison, co-founder and former CEO of Oracle Corporations, could not get any of his four former wives to stay with him. It helped his case when the lovely little Bajan woman he met on a private cruise on his Rising Sun yacht didn't want anything from him at the time. Hell, between the two of them, Dominique was more upset about winding up pregnant with his child than Larry was. And she would've been glad to just never let Naomi be born (which still hurts her more than her father's neglect, if we're being honest) had it not been for the fact that Naomi's legal guardian and grandmother, Anchal, had not stepped in. All Dominique had to do was give birth to the child, Ellison could pay them off so that Anchal didn't have to take his shit to the public, and no one had to worry about the unwanted baby. It just so happened that when Dominique went about her business as a flight attendant and didn't come back once Naomi didn't need anymore breast milk. Anchal was prepared to do with her child just fine, but somehow or another - maybe it was the urging of his then ex-wife Barbara Boothe who had known about his affair with Dominique in the past, which was why she had divorced him in 1986, or even his own abandonment issues from being a sick child whose mother dropped him off to his aunt and uncle with no explanation - but Larry decided to even house Naomi and Anchal. Decidedly, in California and in his Woodside estate. None of his other children could say they had that privilege as Megan and David stayed with their mother, and all of the others were paid off.
But it wasn't like Naomi received any special treatment in residing in the same house as her father. Perhaps it was those same abandonment issues that Larry secretly suffered from that disallowed him to build anything more than a barely existent relationship with her. Naomi and Anchal stayed in one wing of the house and Larry was gone so often that sometimes, Naomi forgot to miss him. She barely even knew when he returned because he was always leaving just as quickly. She had staff members at her beck and call, but it didn't stop her from missing her father. When she would start drawing pictures and learning how to take a laptop apart, she always wanted to show him - to get his attention. And he would just feed her curiosity and love for technology and innovation, but from a distance. And throw money at her - always throwing money. But never his time. He missed countless birthdays, science contests, and lived his life as if he didn't have a young child just wanting to spend time with him. So, her grandmother did the best she could to in order to circumvent the feelings of despair in Naomi, consistently trying to praise her whenever the girl accomplished something like bringing home good grades or learning how to play the piano. As she had intended to be, even without Larry's money at their disposal, she was Naomi's only parent and to this day, Naomi does not hesitate in saying that she appreciates that. But even Anchal couldn't save her from developing a sharp tongue like her father combined with a casually arrogant air sublimated only by a vivacious charm and occasionally humorous way she deflects from people getting too close to her. Couldn't save her from developing her own sense of abandonment when seeing her father make an actual effort with the children from his marriages in public when she was right there and always waiting. Couldn't stop the cynicism that is carefully veiled by endearing babbling, a sharp focus to her studies, and shameless spending of the same money Larry used to shield himself and Naomi from the truth of his negligence.
While Naomi could safely say that she was never a queen bee in school, she can't say she was innocent and not considered one of the mean girls in her private schools. She was the girl people were scared to like: sharply intelligent and biting with her words and probably one of the most deceiving and meanest bitches that ever were on the inside, but charismatic and bubbly with an expressiveness that alluded to the cynicism and sharp edges underneath. She invoked fear because of her father's name, scrutiny because of her privileged ways, and also attention for not hesitating to just be and seem not ashamed. But she's carried that sense of nonexistent self-worth, even to Fulton where she received a full scholarship because of graduating top of her class with a 5.0 GPA (Larry didn't help by not informing her that he had actually showed up to her graduation). She had no intention of joining the Alphas and being known on campus for anything other than the certified genius (her words, mind you) who happens to yes, be the Little Miss Perfect everyone else jokes that she is. But then Larry looked interested in her sorority affiliation and she pledged, if only for the small amount of attention it garnered her. It helps that she actually has a few people she can actually call friends, which is - in no way - what she can say for the girls she went to school with before Fulton.
