│"Ayy Ali, don't you know you look good in anything?"

Alicia caught his hand in her's, twirling around as a smirk of faux-vanity blossomed on her lips.

"You make a valid point. But perhaps I should put on some legwarmers, just to be sa-"

Her words were cut off and her smirk replaced by a scowl as Tony took the opportunity to steal her pear, taking a bite of it before handing it back to her. Despite her attempts to hold her frown in place, she quickly cracked beneath the pressure of his mischievous grin.

"You're going to need a ride, I'm guessing?"

Alicia sighed, expression one of concede. "As superior as my moped is to all other vehicles of land, sea, and sky... I'm not so sure it'll survive a night in club central, Los Angeles."

She smiled winningly, "So if you're offering..."

Without waiting for his reply, she spun around, gesturing 'one minute' with her finger as she disappeared into her room.

As comfortable as her fatpants were, she didn't really feel that they'd suit the club scene. Grabbing her hairbrush, she ran it through her hair as she peered into her wardrobe. She plucked hangers from the pole, leaning the attires draped across them on herself, and examining her reflection in the mirror.

"Nah." "Nope." "Too motown." "Too Miley Cyrus."

She chucked the coat hangers, outfit and all, onto her bed as she considered each attire, finally settling on a dress.

After shimmying into the dress, Alicia brought her chocolate locks up into a ponytail, and replaced the starfish-shaped earrings with gold hoops. Leaning over the mirror, she dragged her eyeliner smoothly across her lids, and brushed her lashes with mascara. Stepping back to judge her work, she smiled, satisfied.

It hadn't exactly been a minute- more like fifteen, and so as she rejoined Tony, she smiled apologetically, "Sorry for the wait-"

She struck a pose, gazing thoughtfully into the distance, before adding in a sultry voice, "But perfection takes time."
