Skin Tone: "I'm kind of pale, I suppose."
She is fair.
Height: "I'm five foot fix and a half, never forget the half."
Weight: "You aren't supposed to ask someone that..."
She weighs a hundred and twelve pounds. Very tiny.
Body Shape: "What shape? I've been mostly a bean pole with breasts my whole life."
She really is just a pole, but arguably she has more curves than a pole.
Body Type: "Oddly enough a lot of people don't know what these are, but I am a ectomorph, I have a lean and delicate build."
Hair: "My hair is very much real, I am blonde as of current moment and have been since junior year. My hair goes passed my shoulders."
Shape of Face: "I have an oval shaped face."
Eyes: "My eyes are blue... Not that anyone really noticed. I wear glasses a bit, but I do own contacts which I wear here an there."
On good days Emma will wear contacts, but most times if she's feeling tired and lazy she'll put her glasses back on. She doesn't really mind wearing them, but she's blind if she doesn't have them.
Distinguishing Marks: "There are a few slightly faded scars on my arm, but i don't really talk about that to people."
Back in sophmore and parts of junior year, Emma's depression at reached its height. She'd show up to get her work and then she'd leave. From the name calling, to the bullies it was difficult on her to endure high school. Worst two years of her life. She really is hoping this final last year is better.
Physical Disabilities: "I have insomnia, but that's about it."
Emma has had insomina for a good three years now. It helps her stay up so she can do homework, but often times she's lethargic the next day. It gets difficult and frustrating when she does try to sleep and she can't, but there isn't too much she can do about it.
Tattoos and Piercings: "I have the traditional ear piercings and I have one tattoo on my left shoulder blade."
She has a caged bird escaping the cage on her back.
Fashion Sense: "I think I dress nice?"
Emma does have a nice collection for her wardrobe. She has a romantic and chic style. Sometimes however, it can get a bit traditional, but really she doesn't put too much thought and effort into her wardrobe. She wears what is comfortable.
Overall Attractiveness: "I guess out of ten I would put myself at maybe a five."
We can all be harsh on ourselves, but Emma is a solid seven. She would be higher if she was higher on the social ladder.

Good Personality Traits: Intelligent, loyal, and observant.
Bad Personality Traits: Passive, anxious, and over-thinker.
Personality: Emma as you can guess by now is a very intelligent girl. She has possessed an aptitude for a lot of subjects in school, mostly logical ones such as sciences and maths. She is quite witty. As she is able to pull up random facts from her head and she is able to spew knowledge on something someone might be having trouble with. Emma is more than okay trying to help out other students who may need her intellect, but she refuses to do the work for someone. Although passive sometimes Emma will not let someone take credit for her own work. It is wrong and she will stand her ground about it.

If you can gain the trust of Emma, then you can get her complete loyalty to you. She is a great friend to have. Emma will stop at nothing to make you happy and be there for you. Her observant nature often helps her in this, as if she can see you're upset and pick up on it she will try and cheer you up. This isn't full proof or anything considering she does overthink interactions with other people. Especially someone she is just becoming friends with. She will sometimes overthink the situation and think you mean something else when you don't and with that you would just really need to be patient with her, until she figures out your social cues. It takes at least a month if not longer for her to establish one humans social interaction patterns. Each human has different interaction patterns so often times it does make it difficult.
Strengths: Emma's Intellect is a big part of her strengths. As far as she can remember, she has been able to pick up on small facts and observe things a lot. Due to being very observant she is very quiet unless she has something to say. When she was in middle school she'd assign herself different reports to do. Whether that be on animals, the environment, or different physics laws, she'd do them as well as a lot of research for them. It was through this that Emma actually learned and figured out what her dream job would be, and she's been working towards it ever since. Most wouldn't know this, but another strength Emma does have is her singing voice. Her father was very into music and he had always shown her all the instruments. Although being little and not having much knowledge on instruments she found them difficult to play. Her father instead had her try singing, and he figured that was something he could help her develop. Surely enough, she is quite talented and he entered her into different singing contests through out middle school and freshman year and she won a few, and at least placed in all of them. She's been tempted to try out for a musical for awhile now, but is afraid no one will take her seriously.
Weaknesses: Cooking is her number one weakness. She has burned rice to the bottom of the pot, she has under cooked pasta. It has all been a nightmare. Cooking was never Emma's thing, even when she would try to help her mother in the kitchen. It just wasn't a talent she possessed. It was also partially due to the fact that she was a over-thinker. Anything she could try and read too much into would fall to pieces and she'd struggle to put them back. For a long time now that is her one weakness she constantly struggles with. She has seemed to overcome it in terms of her school work, as she has obtained a perfect GPA. Most of the other areas she will overthink and needs to get over is human interaction. She sometimes worries and thinks too much about them. Over analyzing the situation.
Mental or Behavioral Disabilities: None.
Life Philosophy: "Treat others how you want to be treated."

||Goals||

Image

Short Term Goals: "Graduate as valedictorian and make the most of my senior year, do stupid things, be a kid."
Long Term Goals: "Getting into a good university for the program I want."
Aspirations: "I dream of going into Biomedical engineering."

||Childhood||

Upbringing: Growing up for Emma was great. She had a mother and a father. Unfortunately they were not able to have anymore kids other than just her. Although that just meant that Emma would get more time with her parents and they ultimately had more money to buy things. Emma was in no way spoiled though, they had used their money for various things, but mostly saved it unless they needed it. Her father was quite the famous musician, so he wasn't often too often once she got older. Emma spent some countless hours in the kitchen with her mom, basically under or over cooking everything. They would just laugh about it and watch some shows together. Emma was very happy back then and she loved her parents dearly.
Childhood Idol/Hero: Her father.

Although when she got a bit older she got embarrassed more easily and so that stopped most of that. Emma's mother was a minor supporter in her life. Relationship with this person: Emma's aunt wasn't hugely in her life when she was younger, but as she started to get older, she would come and visit. Amelia is Lindsey's older sister, and has always had a fondness for Emma. After the accident Amelia immediately tried to take Emma in. Mason Archer
Relation to this person: Older cousin.
Relationship with this person: Mason is Emma's older cousin. He is about twenty two. Mason and Emma get along for the most part, but for a bit now they act like brother and sister. Emma had been up for quite awhile. Due to not being able to sleep she had been going over the homework that she had completed the night before. You had to double check your work, and make sure you didn't miss anything. Emma has a goal to achieve here and she will not stop at anything to obtain it. Emma is working towards being valedictorian of her class. This has been a life long goal for Emma, it was a chance for people to see her for her intellect and not be able to ignore it. Emma had the grades, she participated in clubs, and she participated in spirit days. She knew at least everyone in her graduating class, despite the big school. Whether she liked those people, well that was debatable. Some of them bullied her, some were just mean, and some acted like she didn't exist, but that didn't matter. Emma was going to obtain this goal.

When it got closer to the time school would start, Emma put on her clothes. A pair of jeans, a plaid shirt, and she made sure she wore her glasses today and not her contacts. Today was twin day and Emma was working with Ian on this. It was helpful they had similar clothes, because neither of them had money to just throw away on a one time outfit.

Stacking up her homework neatly she put it in her backpack and she tried to double check she had everything. Emma always worried she'd forget something. She didn't have a car of her own to get into and go grab her homework quickly. Besides the fact perfect timing and perfect attendances was utmost important this year. She allowed herself to miss so much last year, she had to make up for it.

Finally heading out of the door with all of her things, she began her walk to school. When you lived in Washington it was a lot easier to get the fall vibe than here in California. On the way to school at a local cafe near by, Emma stopped and picked up a green tea and started on her walk to school again.

By the time she made it, she walked across the parking lot. Looking around she noticed Ian's car and knew he was here. Emma continued to walk and soon enough she found Ian.

Ian was talking to another girl, and upon seeing her, Emma noticed it was Haejin. "Good morning, Ian and Haejin." Emma said to the two of them and offered a smile.

Haejin was walking into the school building, minding her own business, ready to start the day. When a familiar voice broke her train of thought.

"Good morning, Haejin. You look... You look like you could use a cappuccino. I'll buy you," he offered.

Haejin wasn't going to protest, she needed an energy boost how else was she going to survive the day? Though, Haejin never recalled that the school had a place where they sold any type of coffee. Which shows how little she gets around school, but, hey, it was definitely a welcome surprise and someone else was paying for it so Haejin definitely had no complaints whatsoever. So, without a word of response, she followed Ian.

But before they could leave, a girl named Emma showed up. "Good morning, Ian and Haejin." She smiled as she greeted them.

"Hey, Emma." Haejin greeted with another smile. I was just about to get coffee with Ian, I didn't even know the school had a store for coffee. You should come along!" Haejin offered, hoping that Ian would agree.

Ian grinned at Emma's greeting, nodding his own at her. He should have known that she'd be here as early as he was. Insomnia saw to that. He nodded in agreement with Haejin's invitation.

"Yeah, you should. The cafeteria opens in the morning for breakfast now or at least, that's what I heard," he told them sheepishly. He could aways be wrong, but he doubted he was being messed with this time. A lot of high schools served breakfast in the morning and Hollywood High was the premier high school in Los Angeles, one that catered to kids from ridiculously wealthy families. He doubted they wouldn't have something a public school did.

"So, what do you two think of Spirit Week this year?" he asked as he walked inside the school, "It's kind of crazy... I half expect the Royals to literally tear each other apart over the Homecoming Prince and Princess vote."

Haejin and Ian had both shown a response of morning back to Emma. Haejin even commented that her and Ian were going to go get something to drink. Seemed typical that Ian would need his coffee in the morning. Emma took a sip of her own green tea before walking into the halls with both Haejin and Ian.

"I heard that too. Apparently it's quite delicious for the cafeteria." She said with a small smile placed upon her face. There wasn't too many kids here this early yet, but that was exactly the way Emma had liked it. Emma always felt judged around others when there was a mass of them in the halls. As the walked along their way to the cafeteria to where breakfast was served, Emma let the two get their coffee.

"I don't know why they fuss over the title of homecoming prince and princess. If you tried putting that on your resume no employer would take you seriously." Emma said in response to Ian's comment on homecoming. She wasn't sure if she herself would be going to homecoming or not. Her aunt told her it might be good for her to go and hang out with some friends, but the problem was, would any of her friends even be going? "Are you guys going to homecoming?"

Honey left in one direction, Olivia and Normani in the other, and Katherine in another. Spirit week made school fun... when she was with her girls. When she wasn't, she was just a single person walking around in a denim outfit that made her wish she was in New York, and not in this school building whose initials could just as easily stand for Hell High School as they did for Hollywood High School.

While the promise of a detention originally had Katherine on the path to her French class, as she got closer, she started getting antsy. The idea of sitting through a class that would feel five hours long made her stomach churn. Sure, for one period out of the day, she would actually know what was going on, but it wasn't like it was going to be enjoyable. Besides, she was a fluent French speaker. For most of her life, her father only spoke French at home, so she felt like she was basically as proficient in it as their teacher. Why should she have to waste her valuable time and energy in a class, when she knew what was being taught? It seemed useless, but Katherine wasn't the girl who had the gall to cut class on a whim... alone, at least. So, she slowed her pace, not wanting to reach the classroom just yet, as she sent a message to Val. His response would help her decide. He'd either be in a surprisingly studious mood, say he was going to class and save her from getting a detention, or he'd be the Val she knew and loved, and would agree to cut with her, save her from a period of agony, and leave her regretting the decision later on. While texting Val, she realized that Knox had texted her too. Unsurprisingly, it was about Olivia, so Katherine didn't put too much thought into her response.

To: Val
you better lmk if you plan on cutting french bc i don't want to go either and i'm NOT going if you're not going

To: Knox
are you going to buy me something nice if i help you?!?!?! #célinebag

As she walked, now heading down another hallway to give her an extra minute as she waited for Val's response, she approached the cafeteria. She recognized a lot of the people coming in and out. A few jocks said hello to her, and she smiled towards a couple of cheerleaders that she liked. However, surprisingly, the person that caught her eye most was Emma Sinclair. Normally, Kat didn't give nerds or geeks the time of day. Understandably, she had little in common with most of them, but Emma was her current math tutor, and since Katherine had a math exam today, she magically knew who Emma was again. In typical Kat fashion, she approached Emma and two of her friends, one, who she recognized as Ian, the boy who had been her history tutor the year before, and Haejin, who Kat would ignorantly tell you was "just some Chinese girl". She didn't bother with greetings or smiles, only by clutching Emma's arm to catch her attention before saying, "Emma, my algebra test is seventh period! You promise I won't fail, right?" It was said in a way where she needed that guarantee. As if it wasn't typical for Emma to spend hours helping Katherine, and them leaving off on a note where it was quite possible for her to do well, but then when it came time for the test, her mind going blank and her failing, and being distraught on why Emma hadn't went over the exact questions that were on the exam.

"Oh, you!!" Fergus exclaimed happily, crossing the hall and engulfing his friend in a hug. He had been vaguely aware of what was transpiring around him and the moment he got his friend's text, he decided to engulf him in a bear hug. No mere piece of technology could convey the depth of the emotions he felt at the moment. He felt the need to share it, regardless of the stares he was attracting. He grinned at his friend.

"You barely need to ask, my friend. I can feel the Universe steering you in this direction. I told you that Raquel was your Aatma Dost, didn't I?" he asked him with a grin, slipping into Hindi as he spoke. He took a step back, aware that the public just wasn't ready for heterosexual guy hugs lasting more than a certain amount of time. It was a pity, he thought.

"Now, I just need to ask someone out myself. I have to meditate or pray on it, but I'm sure I'll find someone. What do you need me to do?" he told his friend excitedly.

"I don't know.... I think it would look good on a model's resume," Ian told his friend in response to her quip. The popularity game was rather silly, wasn't it? He didn't understand it. Was there something truly wrong with him or Emma? He didn't think so, but in his darker moments, he hated what he saw in the mirror.

Ian paused at his friend's question, suddenly aware that he was in the presence of two very attractive girls. He wasn't too sure. He wanted to go. He really did. And he wanted to have a date that night too, he realized with some surprise, but would anyone look at him twice? Could he go stag with everyone else dancing with their dates?

"I'd want to," he began, only to be interrupted only to be interrupted by the one and only Katherine "Honey" Quinn. He listened to her nervous words with some relief, feeling his own nerves calmed somewhat. Katherine had no need to worry about school dances, but she did need to worry about he grades. People did have different strengths.

"Maybe you should order some tea? I think they serve some in the morning. It helped you remember the dates in history," he offered. He found that over the course of tutoring her, Honey didn't have trouble learning. She just got extremely nervous. So, he told her about how tea could help her calm down and remember the answers and she did well soon after. The placebo effect was fascinating and damn useful too.

Anything was better than sitting in class, but two minutes in the private room in the nurse's office and Katherine was bored. She wasn't antsy to leave, because once she left, she'd have to head back to geoscience, but the bed she was lying on was uncomfortable, she wasn't actually tired or sick, and she wasn't the type of person who could fall asleep on a whim, especially knowing that in a few minutes, she would be kicked out. So, with the door shut and Mrs. Ellis being lenient with in-school phone use, Katherine kept her phone out after texting Knox the first time, and texted some of her other friends. They were nothing but typical Katherine texts, where she was bored and looking for someone to keep her attention, even though she knew that they were all in class. The last text, one that was sent to Emma, didn't necessarily fall under the category of a text to a "friend" but right now, Katherine was more anxious for her to respond than any of the others. She knew Emma would never take the test for her, because not only did it go against the morals she was sure the girl possessed, but obviously, her teacher would realize that it was Emma sitting there taking the exam instead of Katherine. It wasn't like they could pass as identical twins.

To: Hailey
let's do something fun after school

To: Olivia
i'm bored and tired :( tell mama yolanda to pick me up.

To: Mani
hiiiiiiii!

To: Knox
but she likes disneyland! we should all go!!!!

To: Emma
can you plz take the test for me 7th period. i don't know anything i forget all of it and you know everything about math

It was of no surprise to Kat that minutes passed without a response to any of the messages. She knew that Olivia, Normani and Hailey were in science classes, Knox was in French and Emma... well, Kat didn't know what her schedule consisted of, but she imagined that whatever class it was in, it was something difficult. So, after another few minutes of scrolling through Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, and then posting a "save me" selfie to Snapchat, she was over her time in the nurse's office and was ready for a change of scenery. She slipped her phone into her bag, just as the door to the room was pushed open and Mrs. Ellis motioned for her to get up. "Out, out, out, Katherine! I've got at least one kid on the way with a bloody nose who's going to need this room more than you!" the woman said, a bit frantically, as she pressed her hand against Katherine's back to quicken the girl's pace as she left. "Kids these days! Always fighting!" Obviously, Katherine didn't think that this kid she was speaking of was suffering a bloody nose because Honey had punched him, or that the other kids involved in the fight were Honey or Chad. She hurried out of the office, too grossed out with the idea of seeing the bloody faced kid that was probably on his way down, to want to see who it was. Before heading back to geoscience, she made a stop in the bathroom to fix her hair. Before leaving, she sent a text out in her friend group's group chat.

To: Mani, Liv, Honey
Omg there was another fight.... we literally might as well live in like detroit or something with how rowdy people are in this school this year..
