Full Name
Olivia Taylor Ellison

Nickname(s)
Most commonly, her nickname will be Liv. Her dad calls her Olive, and a few people can get away with using "Ellie", an abbreviated version of her last name, but it's usually jokingly to get under her skin.

Nationality
American

Ethnicity
Dutch and Palestinian

Date of Birth
February 15th

Age
17

Zodiac Sign
Aquarius

Intimate Personal InformationImage

Sexual Orientation
Heterosexual

Relationship History
She's never been in a real relationship before. She's come close to it, but isn't the type of girl to obsess over labels. In fact, she almost prefers not having to call a relationship anything specific, because of how independent she is. She isn't very romantic and the idea of having to be "someone's", and having to constantly text or see someone doesn't interest her. She supposes that she just hasn't found "the one" yet, though. So, no, she's never had an official boyfriend, but definitely prefers/is more commonly in situations where she regularly hooks up with the same person, rather than bouncing from guy to guy.

Current Relationship Status
Single

Virgin?
No

Physical AppearanceImage
Image

Skin Tone
She's Caucasian, and usually sporting a natural tan that gives it a bit of a glow.

Height
5'8

Weight
125

Hair
She's a natural blonde with wavy hair.

Eyes
Blue-green

Distinguishing Marks
She has a couple of moles and freckles on her body.

Physical Disabilities
None

Tattoos and Piercings
She has your typical ear piercings and no tattoos.

Fashion Sense
The best way to describe her fashion sense would be high end. She's always wearing designer clothes, whether it's a pair of $500 sweatpants, or a gorgeous gown that hasn't even hit the runway yet. She has a chic, street style to her and she isn't scared to experiment with her wardrobe.

Overall Attractiveness
She definitely falls high on the scale of attractiveness. It's not something that she's boastful about or even really thinks of herself. She's confident, but not to a point where she thinks she's perfect. Liv has a look to her that's a little exotic, and she attributes it to her middle eastern ethnicity. She's happy with her appearance, for the most part, and it seems like most guys are too.

Good Personality Traits
Intelligent (book smart, and she has a good head on her shoulders in social situations too), level headed, loyal

Bad Personality Traits
Serious to a point where she's sometimes unemotional, closed off and struggles to let people in, stubborn

Personality
Something that's usually associated with Olivia, is how she is generally deemed as being either too serious, or a bitch. 99% of the time, this reputation comes from her tendency to wear a resting bitch face like it's Prada's best design. She is a serious person and isn't the type of girl who cares about appeasing people with laughter if their jokes suck, or a smile if she doesn't like them. She's not selfish, but she's just not interested in being fake with people. If she doesn't like you, she probably isn't going to be bitchy, but she isn't going to pretend to be nice. She's a very independent person and tries not to get wrapped up in pettiness, so if she thinks that you're immature or not worth her time, she just won't acknowledge you. It's as simple as that. Of course, the petty people who are desperate for a reaction will construe this as her being unfriendly and snobby, and maybe in a way it is, but her intention isn't to be that way. She just doesn't care about most drama.

Like most people, the person that she really is, is different than the image that most people generally associate with her. However, it's not like she goes from being a serious person to a carefree, wild girl in a matter of seconds. Naturally, she does have more of an introverted personality, so even with her closest friends, she doesn't share very much. She keeps a lot of true feelings to herself and hates feeling exposed or vulnerable. At the same time, she's not an unpleasant person to be around when she likes you, and in fact, is generally a great friend. She's the type of girl who's very reliable and loyal. Olivia is always looking out for those that she cares for, and is protective over those who are more open and emotional than she is. She can have fun and will let loose sometimes, but she doesn't like being out of control, so a lot of the time, she's the one who keeps herself in check to make sure that her friends are all safe.

Strengths
She's great at remaining composed in situations that usually provoke emotional reactions out of people. She's no robot, and things do bother her, but she usually can hold herself together and only react to them behind closed doors. She's naturally intelligent and has never struggled in school, and is good and following through with goals and routines, so she's someone who actually sticks to diets and workout regimes when she's trying them out.

Weaknesses
Being very controlled is a double-edged sword for her, because with its perks, comes difficulties of letting go of that composure. Sure, it's great in situations where someone's trying to get under her skin and she can remain unfazed, but she also struggles with letting go of that control and allowing her true emotions to show. It sometimes results in passive aggressiveness, where she doesn't show her anger immediately and will take it out on the person later on in passive manners. She has a fear of getting attached to people and making new friends. She also is not musically or artistically inclined in the slightest.

Mental or Behavioral Disabilities
None

Life Philosophy
"People love you until they don’t need you anymore."
She thinks that she's obtained this mentality by watching her mother's relationships that have always had a tendency to fall apart. She's never experienced heartbreak on her own, but she's taken on this idea that it's a horrible choice to become attached to anyone, because they'll dispose of you when they see your real flaws or find someone better.

Goals

‱ Short Term Goals (Things he/she want to achieve or do within 2015-2016)

‱ Long Term Goals (Things he/she want to achieve years from now)

‱ Aspirations (What does he/she dream of doing)

Upbringing
Yolanda Ellison, previously known as Yolanda Hadid, is Olivia's mother and Mohamed Hadid is her father. The two met at one of the many lavish parties Mohamed hosted every year, and following that, began to hook up regularly. She was a successful model at the time and became his muse, but she wanted more. It was clear to many of their friends that he wasn't ready to settle down, but Yolanda somehow got a ring out of him after about a year of dating. She was married to him for four years, spanning from a few months before Liv's birth, to a few months after Anwar was born. Their marriage was rocky to say the least, so when it became public that Mohamed cheated on her, Yolanda took full custody of the children and left him. About a year later, she married Larry Ellison. After Olivia's parents divorced, she didn't see her father for another six years. He wanted to be a bachelor and relished in the young, hot women that were attracted to him (and his wealth), which meant that he had no time for his family. Yolanda felt betrayed and humiliated, so that aiding in her not wanting to give him the chance to see the children as well. Larry quickly took on the role of a father to Olivia and her siblings during this time, and when she was eight, she and her siblings took on his last name legally. -wip-

Childhood Idol/Hero

Supermodel. She'd love to be a fashion designer, but she struggles with creating her own design concepts. She can physically sew and put things together, but the creative process is more difficult for her.

How has senior been for you thus far?
Her senior year has been great. She's the type of girl who does, and always has, avoided drama, or just not acknowledged it if she's involved in it, so there's little that really bothers her. She spent a week in September in New York for fashion week which was the highlight of her year so far, and is enjoying being a senior in general. It's nice being at the top of the social ladder, socially and grade wise.

What are you most looking forward to this year?
She really just wants to graduate. She's had a great run at this school, but high school is tiring and she's ready to move on to bigger and better things. Aside from graduation, she's excited for prom, and wherever she and her friends choose to go for spring break this year.

How do you feel about Spirit Week? Which is your favorite day?
Spirit Week is fun, but Olivia isn't one of the students that goes all out. She participates in each day's activities (because it would be weird not to), but the class color day is probably her favorite, because it's so simple. It wasn't her favorite sophomore year because yellow is definitely not her color, but she thinks that she can work with red this year.

Group/Clique
Royals

How do you feel about your group/clique?
For the most part, Olivia loves her group. She's grown up with a lot of them, and even those that she doesn't have an extensive history with, she tends to get along with. However, something that's prevalent in her clique is drama, and that's not something that she's interested. There's a few girls (who she won't name...) who tend to live off of drama and stirring up problems, and she's just not into that type of lifestyle. She doesn't have time for it and doesn't care. Sure, she appreciates her social image as well, but she doesn't care that much where she wants to ruin innocent people's social lives over it. She knows who she is as a person and doesn't think that some silly high school group can define a person or make them better than anyone else. It's probably easier to have that mentality when you're at the top of the ladder, though.

Are you happy with your place on the social ladder?
Yes

If you could be in any other group/clique which would it be and why?
She genuinely is happy being a royal, so she wouldn't willingly change her spot. If she had to choose a group that she admires the most, it would probably be the theater kids. The way that they can be so expressive, so willing to put themselves out there and potentially be rejected or fail, is so admirable to her. It's something that she can't relate to at all, but she wishes that she had the ability (or true, inner confidence) to just try something like that. For her, modelling is so different than that. She likes to think that it's her clothes that people are looking at when she's on the runway, but for people who are acting or preforming, they're putting their skills and talents on display. It's cool. She also wishes that she could have the talents that the art kids have.

Are you a part of any clubs or sports?

Hunter was relieved that he only had to awkwardly hang out beside the bar alone for a few minutes before Ian showed up. "Hey, Ian," Hunter smiled. "I'm glad that you showed up too. Honestly, I had no intentions of coming. Kinda got forced into it, but I'm just glad I won't be here on my own. Is Daniel coming too?" Hunter wasn't sure how this worked. He knew that if he had been allowed in, the party really was open access to most Hollywood High students, but he didn't know if people who weren't friends with Normani, or people who didn't want to be Normani, actually came. At this point, the kids who fell low on the totem pole had to know that they were never going to fit in with the A-list crowd, so Hunter wasn't sure if they accepted that and stuck to their own territory, or still came and just appreciated the nights that they were included. While he had been waiting for Ian, he ordered a beer, but had only drank half of it. Since coming to California over the summer, he had only drank on his mother's wedding night, and never since. He didn't go out to bars or parties like he used to do in Boston, and he was never someone who just drank alone at home. Tonight, he felt like alcohol was going to be necessary, but he still wasn't the type of person who usually drank to kill his feelings, but more so to have fun, and he didn't know if it would even be possible to have fun tonight. So, he decided to start off slow with the booze, because he was still considering leaving early once he was sure that Bridget was going to be fine. And considering that he had only seen her once since getting here, and that was as she posed for selfies with a bunch of other girls, he was sure she would be fine. Maybe it was because she was younger and transferring sophomore was different than transferring senior year, but she definitely seemed to be adjusting better to the move than he was.

Just as he thought that he would go slow with the alcohol tonight, he spotted Jada heading towards them with a bunch of her friends, and the rest of his beer was guzzled in an instant. "Do you wanna order something?" Hunter said, looking back at Ian as he made his way back towards the bar that was only a few feet away. He honestly had no idea if Ian drank alcohol or not. Stereotypical-ly speaking, he didn't look like someone who would, but Hunter could attest to the fact that Ian was a lot cooler and more normal than people gave Nerds credit of being. He ordered another beer for himself and waited for Ian's response, before nodding towards the group that was parading down the rest carpet. "We're not supposed to thank her for inviting us or anything, right? Since she invited everyone? I don't know how this stuff works, man," he said, adding in a sheepish laugh. Hunter knew most of their names. Chad was apparently one of the smartest guys in the school. His sister was obsessed with Honey Perez's music. Everyone knew Normani. Olivia and Katherine were absolutely gorgeous, the kind of girls he knew he had zero chance with. Jada, he obviously knew, and Hailey and Angelina he had met briefly through Jada. Including Jada, he didn't know any of them that well, but aside from his sister and Ian, he at least knew there names, and that was more than he could say for a majority of the other people at the party.

Maybe she was discrediting Mani's heart, but Olivia really was surprised when Normani not only apologized to Hailey, but actually initiated it. She led her and Katherine right over to the other trio, clearly with the intentions of clearing the air on what she had said the day before. It wasn't surprising so much that Mani would be a good enough person to do so, but that she felt like it was needed. Hailey wasn't one of them, and therefore, as bad as it was, her feelings didn't matter as much. Outside of this school and its social system, she was a someone, but when it came to their social lives as students, she was just a B-lister, and a new B-lister at that. Normani didn't need to apologize to her for anything, regardless of whether she had actually done wrong or not. It simply didn't matter whether Hailey was upset or angry or not, because like Normani had said to Kat, she just wasn't relevant enough where it mattered. It was the harsh truth, and one that Olivia wouldn't vocalize because it was mean. The fact that she was Katherine's friend, and Olivia probably did a good job at seeming friendly with her too, was probably the only reason why she got an apology from Mani.

If anything, Olivia felt like Katherine owed Mani an apology. While after the blowout yesterday, Olivia had felt somewhat bad for Katherine for being but in a place where she either had to defend Hailey and anger Mani, or let Hailey be spoken poorly of and remain in line with Mani, she was over that. Because Katherine hadn't been angry because she felt like her friend had been wronged. She had been angry because she didn't like being told no, and she was mad that Mani wasn't going to waste her afternoon hanging out with a girl who was socially beneath her. If Katherine had followed the rules of their clique, Hailey never would have known that Normani had said anything about her, and life would have went on as it always did. It wasn't like this was the first time one of them had badmouthed someone who was irrelevant to them. The Royals weren't as catty as they were pinned to be, but a little bit of gossip here and there was inevitable. If Olivia went around telling every person that Katherine gossiped about that she was trash talking them, Katherine would have to spend the next ten years apologizing to people. Kat was lucky that they all found her to be too sweet to rip to shreds, because sometimes with the way Olivia felt towards her, Normani's words to her would just seem like a warm up. The girl got away with a lot, and Olivia knew that she didn't mean harm 99% of the time, but for some reason, it just irked her that Mani had to apologize to Hailey for something that Hailey never should have known was said.

She remained silent during the confrontation, which surprisingly ended in a matter of seconds as Hailey confirmed that she was over it. Olivia didn't hate Hailey either, but her feelings towards her definitely weren't as good as she sometimes acted like they were. Liv's younger sister Bella was much closer with Hailey, actually, but she was more than relieved that her sister was in school in New York, now that Hailey had started attending HHS. She was just a bad influence. On Bella. On Kat. On everyone. She wasn't one of them, and though Liv would sometimes act like she was okay with treating her as one of them, deep down, she knew it wasn't authentic.

"You're the best," she smiled at Lauren, when the group had headed further down to the beach and she was handed a Long Island Iced Tea. She wanted to ask Mani why she had apologized to Hailey, but she knew that drama wasn't needed at this party. Mani had worked too hard for the vibes to be ruined. She would save that question for tomorrow. "I spy tall, blond and handsome over there from our English class," she sang playfully, nudging Mani as she took a sip from her drink. "Don't you think he should be Mani's next 'type', Chad? You're clearly into blondes. Tell her how fun they can be!" she said, looking past Mani towards Chad. She would have directed the question to Catalina, just to show Mani that once again, she could play nice with her other blonde bff, but Catalina had said herself yesterday that she didn't live in Chad's head. Besides, Olivia didn't want to get punched in the face if she accidentally worded something wrong.

Angel was just chuckling as she got in the car with Jada and Hailey and how both of them were saying how she was going to get some tonight, more specifically from Christian. Which she know wasn't going to happen. They slept together once, just once and other than that they're just friends. That's it. And Angel wasn't quick to admit that either. In all honesty the only reason she has completely fucked his brains out time after time were two reason. 1) She refused to a second choice to someone who obviously wanted someone else and Angel wasn't going to get in the way of him getting back with Normani. Normani would do that all on her own. and 2) Sleeping together and a good relationship with someone just complicated things. Chris and Angel had a good relationship and the only thing that could come out of them sleeping together too is one or both of them catching feelings for one another. And Angel didn't need that right now. So, she completely swerve the idea with a roll of her eyes and a smirk before speaking. "Please. We slept together once besides he has his eyes on someone else." She said in a fake sad tone before feeling her phone go off to a message that was from Sam.

She smirked. She knew he would text one of them about not meeting him for dinner the night before. And she also knew more than likely it would be her. So, she kept the message to her as she also listened to the girls talk back and forth. Offering a chuckle every once and a while and her input on the coke subject and when Hailey brought her up and her prep past. Angel was all for doing coke to be honest, she might have had a small problem. Just like her father did. She wasn't an addict to it or anything but if she could find it, she would put it to good use. It's been a while but she was willing to break her 'good streak' today. Too bad no one else was up for it. And she learned the hard way not to be alone while high like that. "Ugh, must we bring the whole preppy thing up? And please, I've done much worst than Jada when I was a prep." She said with a laugh before finishing the message and almost putting her phone down but before she could she got another message from Christian. Huh, speak of the devil, right?

    To : Sam
Aw, I'm sorry. But not all of us can be made of money and time to waste. Sides, I told you preps aren't my type. ;)

    To : Chris
Aw, that just warms my heart. Well we're pulling up if you haven't already changed your mind.

She put her phone away when the girls finally made in to the party and walked out towards the area where everyone else was with Jada and Hailey right next to her. But, it wasn't long until she heard someone yell out towards the group and of course, it turned out to be no other than Normani coming to talk to Jada. Angel looked up at the sky as if she was cursing in her head before getting her phone out to keep her mind off of the group in front of her. She had no problem with Olivia or Katherine for that matter. They were fine as far as she knew. The situation only got even better when Honey up to the group as well with Chad. Another guy she was okay with. I mean, she would never have slept with him. He wasn't her type back when they were both preps and now, he was with Honey. Her cousin. She offered a small smile towards him before looking towards Hailey to see what she was going to say or do.

She listened to Normani with a raised eyebrow before looking from Normani to Hailey and again before going back to her phone to send to texts.

    To : Sam
We're here if you want to meet up later so I can make it up to you for us ditching you last night...

    To : Chris
I just got here if you still wanna see me.

She sent the text only to hear Normani say sorry right at that moment. She was surprised when they royal apologized to Hailey. She had to admit that took guts to come up to someone and say sorry. Not that she would every say it out loud and let anyone know she kind of, sort of gave Mani a compliment. She watch the other girls walk away to leave Angel, Hailey, and Jada to themselves. She moved in front of her girls as she took off her black dress to completely reveal the red swimsuit underneath, but left her jewelry as it was. "Well, are we going to go get something to drink and get this day started or not?" She said in a smirk as she moved her hips to rhythm of the music before turning to face her back towards them before starting to walk towards the bar while still swaying her hips a little bit to try and get the mood up.

How was Angelina not his type? Sam thought that if any Prep could handle her, it would be him. For one, she had been a Prep originally, so she couldn't be as full-blown Animal as she was talked up to be, and secondly, if Sam was as crazy as he got at night or when he was in the partying, he could pass as an Animal. If anyone could tame Angelina, it would be him, and if anyone could compete with his wild side, it would be Angelina. And the competitive edge in him might have come out a little too, when Chris pressed that she wasn't his type and he wanted to prove him wrong. It wasn't like he knew that Chris had some type of feelings for her on his own, or that they had a history, just him wanting to prove to another guy that he could get any girl he wanted into his bed, typical type or not. "Gotta dip my feet in the water to figure out if she's my type, man. You should know first hand that the crazy ones are usually the best," he joked, but when Chris nudged him to look towards the red carpet that the girls were coming down on, Sam's jaw might have dropped a little bit too. "I don't blame you, man." He couldn't blame Chris for wanting Mani in the first place, and he couldn't even blame him for continuing to pursue her, sometimes like a sad puppy, even after she had dumped him. She was as hot as they came, and as a member of the FIDM club, Sam would tell you that he wasn't being flamboyant by stating that she could work that color.

Mani wasn't the only hot sight in that crowd, though. While Christian focused on her, Sam's eyes drifted between the other girls who all looked amazing in their own right. There was Honey, who out of respect for Chad, Sam would just leave as looking gracious and attractive. There was Olivia, whose lacy, mesh ensemble had Sam daydreaming about how damn good she'd look in black lingerie. There was Katherine, who donned black like her friend, and whose lace dress left just enough hidden for him to want to tear it off and confirm that the rest of her body was just as sexy as those long legs. Being tugged along by Katherine was Hailey, who Sam would normally say possessed too much of the edgy Animal look to be his typical type, but who would always manage to make it into the "good one night stand" category, especially in those pants. Jada and Angel were only a few steps behind them, with the red color bringing Jada to live, and nearly making Sam's mouth water, and then Angel... well, judging by the way that Sam gawked as she took off her dress, it was clear that he decided then and there, that she sure as hell was his type.

When he left his fantasy world and returned back to Earth, he quickly stood up. His whiskey was still in hand, but since it was far too strong and good to just chug like a beer, he took a large gulp of it and held it as he took a few steps away from Christian. "Well, the early bird catches the worm, dude, and I sure as hell am not missing this one. I recommend you get off that lazy ass of yours too. Your girl is looking like a smoke show and I can already see those fucking losers by the bar mentally taking her clothes off," he said, referring to Hunter and Ian. And with that, he didn't wait for Christian to insist again that Angelina wasn't his type, because he didn't care. He'd break the rules for a girl who looked that good in a red bikini, even if it only turned out to be a one night thing.

He checked his phone only for a second as he hurried towards Angelina who was strutting towards the bar. As eager as he was to start making moves, walking behind her and admiring that physique wasn't painful either. "Might I say, Madam, that that bathing suit really compliments your ass...ets," he teased as he wrapped an arm around Angelina's waist from behind. And, well, his hand might have fallen slightly below the waist as they walked. "Why do I have to wait until later for you to make it up to me? Is it Opposite Day and suddenly the Preps are the ones who aren't good enough for you, or am I second in line behind some other loser?"

Normani gave directions to the bar, which actually wasn't far from where they were standing, but Katherine seemed insistent on leading her there, and Hailey allowed her too. Just like Mani wanted to get back to just being with "her" girls, Hailey wanted to just be with her girls. She appreciated the Queen Bee for hosting the party and apologizing in a pretty gracious manner, but neither of them needed to pretend that they were besties now. It just made sense to part ways and enjoy the night as separate entities. If Katherine wanted to be an Animal for part of the night, than that was fine by Hailey, but she didn't need her vibe killing friends to tag along too. Especially when Angel disliked Mani. It was one more reason for why it made no sense for the two groups to mesh together as one.

She and Katherine were only a step or two in front of the group when Jada and Angelina caught up to them, and if Hailey could whistle, she would have wolf whistled as Angel took off her dress to reveal the red bikini underneath. "Damn, senorita!!!" she said, releasing her grip on Katherine to applaud for Angel theatrically as the girl continued in front of them, swaying her hips sensually as she approached the bar. "I literally love that girl. She's too funny," she said with a genuine smile, when it was just Katherine then who was standing close to her. They continued towards the bar, when seemingly out of no where, Sam cut in front of their path and wrapped an arm around Angel's waist. Hailey couldn't hear what he was saying, but just judging from the look on his face, he was probably talking his way into her pants. She was still Team Christian at the moment, even though Angelina had dismissed the idea of it being a possibility minutes before, but Sam and her looked decent together too. And though she didn't have firsthand experience, she had a feeling that Sam would be good in bed. That was what a few of the other Animal girls who had slept with him had said, at least. "What do you think about him?" she said quietly to Katherine, nodding her head towards Sam and Angel as she steered Katherine to the side of the bar that was as far from Sam and Angel as possible. Hailey was all for being obnoxious and "ruining the moment" for her friends, but she was interested in seeing how this panned out.

“Greg, I can’t thank you enough for this.” Living with a brother who had a severe disability was not easy. Especially when Tray did it all on his own, while still in high school, and working a full time job. If it wasn’t for Greg, Tray would still be out on the streets barely getting by – or worse, not getting by at all. Greg came into Tray’s life just when it seems there was little left of life for him and his brother. He was the rescue that Tray and Jamie were waiting for from their father than never came. Instead, Greg was the one to pick the boys up off the streets and get them back on their feet.

“Tray, I’ve told you man, it’s my pleasure. I want you to live a normal life. Now get out of here.” Tray pulled his apron off his waist and tossed it towards Greg with a smile on his face. “His meds are on the top shelf over the sink!” Tray yelled out as he ran towards the door, rushing to get home and change. Greg smiled and chuckled to himself as the teenager went flying past entering customers. “These boys are going to drive me into early retirement.” He said under his breath with a shake of the head and a laugh.

Tray jumped into his old Jeep and quickly drove home to change. As soon as he reached his apartment door his phone went off with a text. The name that appeared on his phone brought a smile to his face. He unlocked his apartment door as he opened his text from Raquel. He texted as quickly as he got dressed in a simple outfit consisting of a black tank top, khaki shorts and white canvas sneakers. While getting dressed he texted Raq back.
To: Raq ♄
Hey you (: I’m on my way babe. Be there soon

Just as quickly as Tray was home, he was at Mani’s. He was rushing to get everywhere because he hated missing out on things. He was invited, so why not enjoy himself right? He parked his jeep the first place he could and made his way into Mani’s house. His jaw was dropped from the moment he drove onto the property. It certainly wasn’t anything like his little 2 bedroom apartment. Tray pulled himself together – he was an A-Lister, he had to at least present himself as one. The rest of the school didn’t need to know he was broke and living off minimum wage. Tray found the rest of the party and looked for Raquel and Tyler, who he knew would be glued to each other. While he looked for Raq, he ran into Sam and some of the other guys.

“Hey guys, how’s it going?” He made conversation with the guys on his team and the guys he was supposed to be friends with. This was the place to do it, and if he came to this party to just sit in a corner and talk to Raquel, the guys would never let him hear the end of it. Tray, however, wanted nothing more than to just spend time with his close friends. He didn’t care for being friends with everyone, much less did he care about being friends with guys who weren’t really his friends. He knew that all these people put on a show to others. No one really liked anyone in high school, all this shit was just an act and Tray hated that. Tray was a blunt person, he preferred to be real with everyone, regardless of what the truth was.

Lennox tried on several outfits before finally picking one that he liked. He drove across town to Mani’s house in his car and arrived at the party excited to get started. He noticed a few texts on his phone from some of the guys. One from Sam, one from Chris, and one from Kat. He smiled as he replied to all the texts letting them know that he arrived.

Walking into the party, the first thing Knox did was order himself a shot. He downed it between breaths and exhaled sharply. “It’s gonna be a good night!” He yelled out, pounding the shot glass down on the counter and thanking the bartender. Knox walked further into the party searching for his friends. He walked until he saw a large group of guys standing around talking and noticed Tray in the midst of the group. Why the hell does this guy always have to stick himself where he doesn’t fucking belong.
The thought came to Knox clear as day and he rolled his eyes in annoyance. He sent out two texts to two of his friends.

To: Kat
Where are you? I got something for you

To: Tay
Where are you man? This party’s a bust without you

Lennox went on with looking for his friends when he found Kat. He walked up behind her without her noticing and put his arm around her shoulder. “Hey beautiful. Didja get my text?” Before Kat could respond, Lennox was already moving on with his next thought. Lennox had an idea. Knowing that Tray was scum of the earth and that he was chasing after Raquel, who Knox used to date, he wanted to make sure Tray’s life was hell. It wasn’t so much that Lennox still wanted Raquel, he just didn’t want Tray of all people to have what used to be his. Lennox was acting like a toddler, taking away something he didn’t even want from someone, just so no one else could have it. He pulled Kat along with him as he walked in Tray’s direction. “Doesn’t matter. See that guy over there?” Lennox said pointing to Tray. “I just overheard him saying that he thought you were cute. And I know you’re doing some weird thing in your life where you’re, like, not dating or whatever, but maybe you should give him a try.” Lennox smiled devilishly at Kat. He didn’t know if she knew if it was true but Knox was a pretty good liar and would have been able to pull himself out of the situation had it gotten awkward. He gave a gentle push to Kat in Tray’s direction and winked at her. “Go get ‘em tiger.” Lennox smiled and walked away before Kat could say anything.

Lennox made his way around the party, talking to random people when he found Olivia hanging out with some her girls. He walked over to them and casually entered the conversation. “Ladies,” He smiled. “Liv, do you mind if I talk to you for a second in private.” He wanted to pull Olivia away from the rest of the girls so that he can talk to her about the ridiculous decision she was making with Jamison. He wanted a chance to talk her into going with him and didn’t want her friends around to influence her decision.

He held onto Olivia’s hands gently and smiled at her warmly. “Listen, I know you told James you’d go to homecoming with him as friends, but let’s be honest with each other here for a minute. I like you and I get the feeling we could have a great time together. So, what do you say? Go to the dance with me. I’ll find James someone else to go with.”

Within seconds of the definitely-not-expected apology being accepted and finished with, the group headed further down the beach. Though they were walking as a group, it felt like a bunch of little, separate entities, and Jada was annoyed that her girls weren't one all together. Hailey was clinging to Katherine and Angel was there one second, and then tucked in one of Sam's arms before Sam even realized who the male was. She wanted to roll her eyes and mutter something about this being typical, but she wasn't going to be the downer of the night. She didn't need to cling to her girls' sides to have fun, and in an attempt to be optimistic for once, she decided that it was good for Angel to be mingling with a guy who probably wasn't trying to do a line of coke off of her ass. And with Hailey... well, the blonde abandoning her for the moment was harder to excuse, but Jada told herself that it was better that she was off doing her own things than pressing Mani for more of an explanation on what had happened. She had to admit that Hailey had been pretty good about not pushing hard, especially when J already knew that Mani was doing something unusual by apologizing for something that was supposed to be kept a secret. Plus, both Hailey and Angelina seemed to be in good spirits this evening, and that made Jada even more determined on making sure this night went well.

She followed her girls, a few feet behind, to the bar. Normani and her friends had stopped to talk with Lauren, who seemed like she had been waiting on their arrival since she had drinks ready for Mani, Liv and Katherine. J wanted to talk to Mani and just say she appreciated keeping the peace with her girl, but now wasn't the time. Not with so many people around, not when it might have still been a fresh wound, and not when she wanted to maintain the night's fun atmosphere. She wanted to chat with Honey and Chad too, since she hadn't seen the two in days, and genuinely wanted to make sure that all was good after yesterday's mayhem. It just didn't feel like her place to hover with that group though. She was friends with Mani, Chad and Catalina, but she wasn't a part of that friend group overall. After ordering a Juan Collins at the bar, Jada noticed that her girls had changed groups yet again. Or at least added people to them. Angelina and Sam seemed to be in a group of people, with Tray and some other guys hanging nearby, and Katherine and Hailey were talking before Lennox before Lennox pushed Katherine towards the group of guys by Angel. Lennox then departed in the direction that Mani was still in, so J headed towards Hailey and walked with her over to where Katherine was headed, and where Angel already was. "Ten minutes in and Angel's already hoeing it up," Jada joked as she grinned upon spotting the girl still on the other side of the bar with the guys. "Think we should rescue her from Sam? If we're being real, I'd rather her with him than Christian, because that's just messy territory to get into again, but this kid's no prized possession either."

Outfit ♕ Location: Normani Devereux's Home (Beach) ♕ Theme Song ♕ Mood: Inquisitive

It didn't take long after their bout of affection, which Normani only bestowed upon two of her followers on a regular basis for very different reasons, for Normani to dismiss Lauren. She didn't need the girls following her for the evening and was more than happy to distract herself with her friends unless she decided to find Lauren again. Which probably would happen sooner, but she was going to enjoy herself first. Normani was teasing the straw of her drink with her teeth when Liv nudged her, forcing her gaze over to the bar where...where Liv was right because tall, blonde and gorgeous were definitely the correct adjectives to describe the guy Jada had said was her stepbrother. Not that Normani hadn't noticed before, but before she had been...well, distracted. And rightfully so, if you didn't ask Kat and instead asked Normani herself since her opinion was definitely more appropriately had than her brunette friend's. "Hmmm...looks scrumptious," she commented with a wicked grin, turning with Liv when the blonde turned to questioning a very off-guard Chadwick.

Honey wasn’t caught off guard often, more like hardly ever. She wasn’t as observant as Chad or as manipulative as Mani so she was never three steps ahead but she was usually at least one. So when Olivia teased Mani about some blonde that Mani hadn’t told Honey about she couldn’t help but be a little but be a little annoyed and maybe hurt if she was really honest. But she wasn’t surprised, I mean Mani having a crush wasn’t surprising but Olivia was the one to involve her and Chad into the conversation. Granted it wasn’t in the way she’d like. Honey wasn’t even a natural blonde which was evident by her styled dark roots and thick dark eyebrows. She turned to Chad and smiled, ”I don’t know are we more fun?” She asked with a tilt to her head. Chad blinked, a bit surprised by the sudden inquisition and the way Honey tilted her head at him. Despite their still holding hands, he could feel Honey was questioning more than if blondes were more fun and it made him swallow lightly before answering, "You're kinda fun, regardless." It was a safe - albeit, lame - response, but Chad didn't want to be there anymore. Not because he didn't want to be with Honey, but because Normani's eyes had narrowed just slightly and it was enough to make him feel...caught, and he didn't want to be caught. Caught doing what he would not be able to say, but it was enough for him to glance around to find Christian.

It struck Honey that in the past two days they had been the least affectionate than they’d ever been since they started dating. It wasn’t like they weren’t talking or arguing, they were. What she was really upset about was that Chad couldn’t talk to her about how he felt.

She glanced up at him before turning to Mani and giving her a wicked smile, ”You know what I could use? Some tequila.” She walked ahead of the group to the bar, her hips swaying in a way that was obvious due to the sheer material of her dress. Honey's proposal of more alcohol with a distracted grin Normani's way was a his means of an escape and while his girlfriend sauntered off, Chad lingered. "Hey...um, I'll catch up with you guys later, okay?" Normani nodded once followed with a "Sure thing, Chadwick," that should not have made him feel a twinge of guilt and he jetted off, past the crowd and over to the canopy lounge Christian was still chilling out at. Normani followed her friend's movement before whispering to Liv, "Be back." After a good start to their afternoon and considering the fact that Kat had abandoned them in favor of a guy (and Normani was seriously going to need fucking details ASAP if her Kitten was actually showing an interest in a guy), she normally would not have left Olivia. Not unless she decided to go dancing and Liv wasn't in the mood. But if there was anything that Mani picked up on, it was when a friend was not having a good day and right about now, she needed to figure out what the hell was going on between Honey and Chad. Besides, Lennox had arrived just as she was telling Liv goodbye, prompting a rather suggestive smirk on Normani's face behind Lennox's head before she officially left the scene.

Yep, definitely needing details.

Honey leaned across the bar and smiled at the bartender, ”Hey, honey, can I get some tequila shots?” When he poured them up she quickly downed it, grimacing as it burned down her throat. She sat at the bar and swiveled around to look at the group. Luckily, since mostly everyone else was distracted by their own conversations and the music had lured a few of the bar's most devoted guests out onto the sandy dance floor where a few belly-dancing instructors were giving lessons, Normani was the one who had caught up to hear Honey's next question. ”So walking around has been fun but when is this party going to get started?” One of Normani's eyebrows rose in question at the blonde's mood and she sipped her tea with a long stare at the blonde. "Considering the fact that the party's already started and you're already doing tequila, all of this," she gestured to the air surrounding her friend "ain't about no party getting started. What's up?" Cute guy, and damn he did look good from afar, could wait. Normani was more interested in whatever the hell had Chad unable to meet her gaze.

Location: Normani Devereux's Home (The Beach) ⚟ Theme Song ⚟ Mood: Irritated to Entertained

It was a good thing that Sam had run along when he did because while he was amused at the guy's energy and Sam was one of his boys and that was enough to put Christian in a good mood, his offhanded remark about still wanting to try with Angel made Christian scowl. Which, again - because he was seriously at a war with his head (and maybe his dick, but we aren't gonna go there) - shouldn't be a thing because his stint with Angel should never have happened and she was just a friend.

And Normani was looking like his own personal wet dream from Aladdin and he really shouldn't be thinking of a stupid ass Disney movie, but that was where the color was coming from and he could be her Aladdin if she wanted to play Jasmine today. He could also cockblock the shit out of Sam and Angel, but that was petty. And he was petty, but Chad had managed to take up his line of sight, which was a welcome distraction. "Dude, you look like shit," he commented and Chad sent him Bitchface #5 (don't make me punch you). "Bite me." Came the response and it was enough of a distraction that Chris tore his gaze from Normani breaking away from the large group and Angel being distracted by Sam's basic ass (and he really needed to stop mentally being a dick to one of his friends). "No, but seriously, dude you look like you could use a drink. ASAP." Christian's eyes hovered over the group of girls that were seated under the canopy with them, three smoking hookah and the other five idly chatting away. The one that caught his eye was Camila, one of Normani's girls. She was the youngest of the the queen's followers and the most energetic. She was also the most receptive to his charms and all it took was him looking in her general direction, and a flush rose to the girl's naturally lightly-tanned skin. Chris crooked his finger at her in a 'come hither' fashion and Camila, partly out of knowing that he could easily tell Normani anything and because not many actually resisted Christian, came over and Chad was giving him another bitch face, but Christian didn't look his way to figure out which one.

"No, Chris - " Christian held a hand up, interrupting Chad before he could finish his complaint. "Now, hold on, man. Chill," he said before turning to Camila a sweet smile, grasping her petite hand in his. "My friend here's being a prude, but he could use a drink. And you know how Mani takes care of all her friends. Think you can help her out? I don't wanna bother her right now, but - " Camila was quick to interject. "No, no. It's fine. I'll be right back." She hurried off to the bar and Chris already knew his best friend was scowling long before he actually stopped admiring the fact that...well, for a petite girl, Camila had a nice ass. "You're incorrigible," Chad said with a disgust they both knew he didn't actually feel. "She doesn't even know what I would want to drink if I was even drinking. Christian only grinned. [color=#0020c2]"Lighten up, she's a smart girl. 'Sides, obviously you need one since your girl is currently at the ball and you high-tailed it over here like a little bitch." Chad's scowl deepened and Chris' grin only widened as he leisurely leaned back against the cushions. His eyes shifted over to where he could see Normani and Honey, and his eyes met coincidentally with his ex-girlfriend's, before they shifted back to his best friend. And no, he did not just blush like a thirteen year old at getting caught because...he wasn't getting caught for anything. He had just looked over, practically harmless. "So, what's up? Trouble in paradise?" Chad sighed, heavy and unbidden.

"Chris..." He started and his friend waited for a moment before sighing himself. He knew Chad. Chad would turn the vibe he had been on previously into some chick flick moment and right about now, Chris wasn't feeling it. Not that he wasn't concerned and it wasn't like he wouldn't be willing to listen any day of the week. Just...actually, not now. Not when there was a party to distract themselves with. They could have some weird ass bitch-like bro moment when they weren't surrounded by losers and hot ass girls. "Dude, don't even lie to me right now." He ended up saying, voice a bit more softer than the tone going off in his head. "It's a long story," Chad finally admitted and Chris nodded understandingly, grateful that Camila had arrived once more with whiskey. Chad wrinkled his nose as the smell of the offered beverage, but didn't hesitate to take a swig of it. "Well, there's a party and hot girls and chick flick moment's gonna have to wait, bruh." Even if Chad wanted to bitch-face him, the smirk forming on his face thwarted those plans. "You're a horrible friend." Christian shrugged before grinning. "Told you that, what? Ten years ago? Still here, so I must not be that bad." All he got, as an answer, was a punch in the shoulder.

Normani agreeing that Hunter looked "scrumptious" had Olivia giggling. She wasn't trying to pull a Katherine, but she was going to give Daniel five more minutes to make his existence known at this party before she forced Normani over to one of these attractive boys. Obviously, Mani could do all of that on her own. She had a majority of the male population at the school drooling over her already, but it seemed like she needed a push. Or maybe Olivia was just too eager to see her friend with someone. Either way, she wanted someone other than Mani pulling that bikini off of her at the end of the night. The same went for Katherine, although Olivia doubted that the brunette had the capability of making as many moves as Mani could. Katherine was clearly a gorgeous girl with a body that girls would kill for. Guys tried to get her all of the time, but for the past few years, Katherine had never really been interested. It was always weird, but it was just the way that Katherine was. She would make out with someone, and then freak out and refuse to ever text them again, or before the makeout session even happened, she would convince herself and everyone else that the guy didn't actually like her, or that he wasn't her type. How Kat could possibly have a type when she had barely even dipped her feet in the pool of boys yet was beyond Liv, but she had never pushed Kat about it. For one, she could tell that Katherine was insecure when it came to boys, and secondly, Olivia knew that pushing Katherine too much on anything would result in emotions and tears and crying, and Liv wasn't about that life most of the time.

"He's got my vote for King of the night," Olivia shot back to Mani before the dark skinned girl managed to escape. She didn't think too much of Chad's uncomfortable response, or how he excused himself. It wasn't like they were amazingly close friends where she would try to read him or anything... but if she had to take a stab in the dark, a completely unbiased stab in the dark, she'd say that maybe he was realizing that Catalina weighed him down more than anything. She was a pretty face, a nice body... but not much more than that.

Just as Mani, Chad and Honey left her, Lennox appeared and pulled her a few feet away, to a quieter area. They were still in view of the others, and Liv instinctively searched past him even before he started speaking, as if maybe she could find Katherine and Normani and through eye-language, force them to come over and break whatever this was, up. She knew what it was going to be. His texts the day before had hinted at something homecoming related, and then there was Katherine and her mouth, so, when he did say what he said, Olivia wasn't exactly surprised. She was, however, caught off guard, because like James, she had been trying to put this off too. It wasn't that she was as hesitant to go with Lennox as she was with James. Her and Knox were friends, but not in the same way as she was friends with James, where if something went wrong, she was losing someone who was like a brother to her. And Knox was hot. Really hot. Liv could genuinely see herself going to the dance with him, but she knew that if she agreed to go with Knox, it would be offensive to James, who she had insisted to that she only wanted to go with as friends. The thought of having to deal with drama made her down a larger gulp of the Long Island Iced Tea than she thought her stomach would be able to handle.

He seemed so genuine though... and the way he held her hands and looked at her with such sincerity... it was nothing like James, who couldn't go through thirty seconds of a conversation without laughing or making some immature joke. "Okay," she said after a slight pause, looking at her hands in his, and then moving her gaze up to meet his. She couldn't help but to smile when their eyes met, but she hated herself for feeling the butterflies in her stomach, and even just the happiness she felt upon knowing that maybe she was making a good choice, because she knew that with this good choice would come drama. "But you're sure you can find someone for him, right? I don't want him to be... embarrassed or anything."

Personally, Ian didn't like beer. It just tasted like liquid wheat to him and not good wheat at that so he ordered himself a glass of whiskey. If he was going to drink something he didn't like in order to gather some courage, he was going to get as much bang for his buck as possible. With that thought, he took a sip causing his face to contort in distaste before chugging half of it down. He suppressed the urge to shiver.

"I hope drinking becomes easier when I'm older.... Well, Normani doesn't bite. Or maybe she does, but if she did, I wouldn't mind," Ian told Hunter with a slight grin before shrugging, "You don't need to worry. We should go see her if only to say hi. I think she'd like that. She's always been nice to me so, it can't hurt to thank her for her hospitality."

Ian shrugged. It was just high school, after all, right? He was tired of being nervous. He looked across the bar to see Jada and her friends and he blushed bright red.

"Jada... She looks nice tonight, don't you think?" he asked, trying to sound as casual as he could.

Fergus wasn't sure why he decided to attend this party. He had had a bad feeling all evening, but he didn't know why. His instincts told him to text Maya, but she didn't answer. He tried meditating or reading at home, but that didn't seem to settle his uneasiness either. Thus, it was with a certain wariness that he parked his motorcycle in front of Normani's villa and made his way up the path to the party on the beach, carrying a rolled up poster as he did so.

At least while he was here, he could see Trayson and make his apologies to the current queen bee. Her aura seemed to darken in his prescence since their first meeting and that bothered him. He thought calling her a daeva had been a compliment. They were beings at a higher state in the wheel of samsara, though it was harder reach liberation in that state in Buddhism while in Hinduism, daevas were important and virtuous. Then, someone turned him on to the show, Supernatural and he realized he had called her a demon.

It was for this reason, he made his way to Normani and her group of friends, unrolling a poster to reveal a poster of the Winchester brothers with their actors' autographs inscribed upon it.

"I would like to make amends," he told her without preamble, "I did not know what Supernatural was when I asked if you were a daeva. My mind was on the dharmic religions instead. But, I caused offense so, I thought I'd make an apology to restore balance."

He smiled at her friends, his eyes falling on Catalina and he remembered what he heard earlier this week. He gave her a thumbs up.

"That guy you punched will most likely be reborn as a worm."

It’s not that Tray had a hard time getting along with the other Royals or Jocks, it’s more the matter of fact that Tray simply wasn’t like the rest of them. Of course, it made others think that he thought of himself as better than them or that he was a stick in the mud but it wasn’t his intention. The truth of the matter was that Tray simply didn’t feel as though he belonged with these people. Not that he was out of their league, but that they were out of his league. So when it came to the party, one of the biggest reasons why he was there in the first place was because the entire school was invited so if he were the only person to not appear, it would have given him a bad name, which would have caused a little bit of a ruckus between the social groups. The last thing Tray wanted was to be at the root of any drama.

However, it seemed as though drama was just one thing he couldn’t seem to avoid. Tray wouldn’t have said it aloud, but he considers himself to be a good looking guy. As do many of the girls at school. He’s too shy to make a move on anyone and the fact that Raquel liked him and went for him in the first place was a tad shocking to him, but he appreciated her efforts because now things are working to his advantage. Although, when Katherine approached him and the others he was standing around with, Trayson was taken aback a little. He wasn’t quite sure how to react in a way that wouldn’t jeopardize his newfound relationship with Raquel and wouldn’t insult Katherine all in one fell swoop. He was flattered that there was an attraction drawn towards him all of a sudden but Tray wasn’t sure how to react with the newfound glory.

When the talk of shots came, Tray immediately felt uncomfortable. He didn’t drink, he didn’t smoke, he didn’t dabble in any kind of drugs ever. He wasn’t even entirely sure he liked the taste of alcohol. ”Oh, no thanks.” Tray kindly declined. ”I actually don’t drink.” But the decline didn’t seem to matter as it appeared that no one was truly listening to him speak. They didn’t care if he didn’t drank, they were going to drink and they wanted Tray to join in the fun with them. They weren’t necessarily peer pressuring him, they were just oblivious to his answer if it was anything other than ”hell yeah!” or ”one more!” Tray rubbed on the back of his neck, thinking of a way to get out of having to down shots. Not seconds later, Sam was muttering ”one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor” in his ear. An uncomfortable chuckle came from Tray as he turned to see Raquel joining the group. She clung to his arm and he thought this would be enough to get him away from the shots, but when he turned to see the girl ordering shots, he wasn’t quite sure. Then came Sam’s comment which sent him into a deep red blush. ”The prize is the spot next to Tray in bed tonight, and it looks like Kat’s taking the lead.” Tray wasn’t quite sure how to respond other than turning bright red. He wasn’t going to doubt that he thought Katherine was cute, but he and Raquel were a thing now. He was committed to her and he wasn’t going to break that. Tray was getting more and more uncomfortable as time went by. “Maybe one shot wouldn’t hurt.” He said quietly, darting looks from Raquel to Sam to Kat. He gently smiled at Katherine, unaware that it made him seem as though he was flirting with her. He took a step towards her, reaching for a shot, then looked back to invite Raquel and Tyler. ”Well? You guys comin’?” Tray took a shot from Katherine and winked at her before putting the glass to his lips and cocking his head back so the liquid would make its way down quicker and easier. He shook his head and took a deep inhale when he pulled the shot glass away from his lips. “Holy shit!” He caught himself in a coughing fit for a few seconds after his first ever shot, which was only slightly embarrassing to say as a high school senior. He took a deep breath and chuckled a little. He caught eye contact with Kat, which caused him to start laughing. Tray smiled at Katherine, momentarily forgetting that he wasn’t alone with her.

A smirk came to Lennox as quickly as it disappeared. He knew that at this moment he had ‘won.’ Perhaps it was not in the way he necessarily wanted, but he wanted Olivia all to himself. He wanted her to like him as much as he liked her, but he knew that in the end it was all a matter of time. Maybe she would never like him as much as he liked her, and he came into contact with the reality of that thought but he knew that with time, Olivia would warm up to him and perhaps they could be closer in one way or another. He was close with her best friend, as she was also his best friend, so he figured why could he not be as close to Liv as he was with Kat? To him, there was little difference in their relationships. The only difference was the romantic attraction quite honestly. Lennox allowed for a genuine smile to spread across his lips, bringing them ear to ear. He pulled her hands closer to him but separated them to wrap around his shoulder. Lennox wrapped his arms around Olivia’s waist and lightly picked her up and twirled her before setting her down and kissing her forehead. He gently held onto her cheeks as he looked her deep in her beautiful blue-green eyes. “Olivia Ellison, you’ve just made me the happiest guy on earth.” He let go of her cheeks and pulled her hand back into his. He put her palm against his chest and caressed it with his hands. “And I promise you, I will find James someone just as lovely as you to go to the dance with him.” He smiled kindly on the outside, but inside was a menacing smirk.

By the time that the shots were on the bar top, Sam and Angel were walking away, and Tray and a few other A-list guys were the only ones left. Raquel was approaching, but Katherine didn't have any sort of relationship with her to where her presence would be noteworthy. That was what she assumed, at least, since she didn't know that she and Tray were friends, or actually more than friends until two of the shots were finished off and she was waiting for Tray to take at least one of the two remaining ones. And then Raquel appeared, and latched on to Tray like he was her boyfriend or something. It had Kat's eyes narrowing for just a second. Maybe it was all of the alcohol from earlier, but it didn't automatically click to her that Raquel and Tray were anything. Tray was an A-lister and she was... she was one of those drama weirdos, Katherine thought. At that moment, she couldn't even remember what clique the girl belonged to, but whatever it was, it wasn't one that was good enough for her to be hanging around them. It wasn't even like Trayson was the most coveted boy in the A-list group, and he had never really caught Katherine's eye before, but tonight she was definitely appreciating that sharp jawline as she looked him over.

Sam probably would have been her first pick of the night, but Angel on his hip was a deterrent. Katherine wasn't fluent in this type of stuff, so she wanted something easy to prove to Normani and Olivia that she was capable of being just as boy crazy as they were. Angelina wasn't competition to her in a lot of ways, at least not since her fall from grace, and in reality, they didn't have any real bad blood, but Kat knew that the girl was more well versed in sex than she was, so at least here, Kat felt like she would be fighting a losing battle. Trayson had seemed like an easier target, so Raquel clinging to him was disheartening, and more than that, confusing. Maybe it wasn't just that that put Katherine off. The way that Trayson was clearly a novice when it came to shots had her wrinkling her nose. Her own expertise in alcohol was nothing to boast about, considering it wasn't like she knew alcohol well enough to respect her tolerance limit ever... and more than half of the nights when she drank, a good portion of her alcohol ended up being thrown up by midnight. Still, it made her wrinkle her nose. She wasn't looking for some experienced, Christian Grey, but maybe Trayson belonged with the lower level girls like Raquel. At the same time... that jawline... and his cute laugh... and the way their eyes met when he finished the shot... It had Kat smiling and laughing a little on her own.

But then Raquel just had to ruin the moment, trying to join in on the fun, and it brought Kat back to reality. "We weren't talking about anything," she answered, a bit coldly as she looked the girl up and down. "Nothing that you should be worried about, at least." With the unwelcoming comments out, she decided that she was over this conversation and Tray (for now, at least). Her exit from the group would have seemed more graceful had the alcohol not taken her surprise, and she not had to clutch onto one of the guys a few feet away as she nearly lost her balance. She adjusted herself to the fuzziness and the way that the ground felt like it was tilting back and forth a little. It was a feeling she disliked, but one she knew well enough to be functional during... at least so long as she didn't take any more shots for the night.

If she had seen Normani on the other side of the bar, she would have flocked to her first, but she didn't, and as she slowly walked away from the bar, she found Olivia and Lennox and headed in their direction. "Excuse me, Lennox Atwood! That ugly bitch Raquel is clearly obsessed, like stalker level obsessed with that boy you said thought I was cute, so I want Sam for tonight. Liv, tell Mani that Angel said something bad about her so she kicks her out. She's gonna get in my way."

Olivia never thought of herself as the romantic type, but Lennox was good at this. He had to be in order to have her smiling in the way she was. And it really was genuine. She was only second guessing saying yes to Lennox because she really didn't want to hurt Jameson's feelings, but she was happy and this felt right. It wasn't like she had suddenly fallen head over heels for Lennox in a matter of two minutes, because Olivia just wasn't the kind of girl to invest herself so recklessly like that, but she was definitely happy in his arms, and that was a lot for a girl like her. "I'm really happy too," she admitted to much surprise of herself. She was the kind of girl who would usually respond to an "i love you" from guys with a "thanks". It wasn't in her character to admit any feelings she had, because she didn't want to get hurt, but admitting that she was happy didn't seem too detrimental. "And, thank you. I really do care about him, Knox. I just... you know what I mean when I say that I just see him as a friend. Like you and Kat. It's just... different with some people," She wasn't really sure where she was going with that, but she hoped that Lennox understood what she meant.

Speak of the Devil and he shall appear... Olivia was just glad that she and Lennox had gotten to have their moment (and she didn't even want to call it that) before their mutual friend stumbled over, going off about how annoyed she was about something Knox had told her, and then about wanting Angel kicked out so she could have Sam. She pulled away from Lennox's chest, but kept her hand wrapped around his as she looked at Katherine with a smile, even though the smile was only still on her face because of Knox. Katherine was never hard to read, and that was even truer when the girl was intoxicated, like she clearly was now. The fire dancer show hadn't started yet, which meant that it wasn't even six o'clock, and Katherine was already at a level of intoxication where Olivia had to worry about her. It made her want to groan, but it was so typical of Kat that she wouldn't complain. She just raised an eyebrow and waited for Katherine to finish talking. Immediately, she wanted to blame Hailey, who she had seen Katherine go to the bar with. As stated, Kat always drank too much, but Liv wanted to blame someone for her getting obnoxiously drunk to a point where she was trying to shred Raquel and Angel to pieces for no reason. If Knox didn't know her almost as well, or just as well as Liv did, she would have apologized for Katherine being so... Katherine. She didn't need to though, and that was one more reason why she told herself that it was a good choice to say yes to Knox. "You're not getting anyone kicked out of this party, Katherine. Stop drinking and hang out with Lennox and I for the night, okay? We'll have fun and we'll find you someone other than Sam. There are so many guys here, and I know a million of them will want to hang out with you, right, Knox?" she said, looking towards him for reassurance with a bit of a smirk.

The sound came like the crack of a whip. Out of the thin air, Lennox could hear the shrill, intoxicated voice of Katherine ringing through the airwaves above his head. The screech came in so clearly that Lennox winced a little, tucking his head into his shoulders and refusing to turn around to a possibly red in the face monster he called Kat. His conversation with Olivia was cut short. All he wanted was to be able to explain to Olivia just how much she meant to him. He understood they were just friends, but the connection they had could have allowed for something so much deeper than just friends. He knew, also, that his friendly relationship was nothing compared to Olivia’s friendly relationship with James. Olivia and Lennox were just a bit closer because of their mutual relationship with the ever so lovely (and yelling) Katherine. Had the two not been connected by this single strand, it’s very possible that James would have been the winning choice for Olivia today and every day. Although she was ready to rip off his head, Lennox was very glad that he and Kat were best friends.

Before Lennox could answer Olivia’s stumbling phrase, Kat was interrupting the two. Olivia had moved her hand from Knox’s chest to his hand. He held on firmly, not wanting to lose her at any second. He felt her warmth in his hand and it made him smile. It felt right to him, holding onto her hand like this. It felt like it was meant to be. For a second, it even put him in a trance and it wasn’t until Olivia started talking to Kat that he snapped back into reality. He smiled at Olivia and nodded in agreeance to whatever she was saying to Kat. “Yeah, listen Kat, you don’t want Sam. He’s a fuck boy. Steer clear of that. As for Tray, the guy must be dumb or something because letting that lowlife girl cling to him like he’s her life line is just sad and pathetic. If you want him, I’ll get him for you, but you don’t want a nasty guy like Sam.” Of course Lennox and Sam were friends, but Lennox honestly did believe that Sam was a fuck boy. The kid just ran from girl to girl and he wasn’t quite sure what kind of STD’s were being shared by him. This, of course, was nothing he would mention aloud. Right now, it just sounded like a joke coming from Lennox to make his best friend feel better but Lennox believed a big chunk of it was the truth. He smiled at Olivia again, giving a light squeeze to her hand, and then looked back at Kat. “Just stick with us and you’ll be solid.”

Being told to stop drinking and to third wheel with Olivia and Lennox for the night was the last thing that Katherine wanted to hear. She was already intoxicated but the party had just started, so the idea of spending the rest of the night without a drink in hand didn't sound attractive. Plus, Lennox was the one who set her up for failure with Trayson. It wasn't like she had really tried with Tray, but Kat was used to things being handed to her, and she didn't want to have to find some weirdo for him. He was really attractive, but she wasn't that invested in the pursuit. It wasn't like she could get Sam either, though. Angelina definitely seemed like bigger competition than Raquel did, so if she wasn't going to fight for Tray, she definitely didn't see herself fighting for Sam. But she wanted someone tonight. She wanted a boy who she didn't have to compete for, and yet she wanted him to still be cute, and also wealthy, an A-lister, and someone who, in general, would abide by her unnecessarily high standards.

"I actually don't want Trayson or Sam," she decided, linking her arm with Olivia's free one. "I'll find one a million times better than both of them, but if I don't, then you guys have to promise to get rid of Angel and Raquel so I can pick who I want, okay?" she demanded, pushing her hair behind her shoulder as she tried to collect herself again. "So did you ask Liv to go to the dance with you, Knox?" she said, turning to him as she pulled the two farther down the beach, towards the dance floor. "I told him he should take you to Disneyland and ask you there, but obv he didn't do that because you would have invited me, right?" She looked from Knox, to Liv, and then back to Knox, as if her not getting an invitation to a potential Disneyland trip was going to be enough to her to end her friendship with both of them. By now, Kat didn't care about being a third wheel, but once they reached the dance floor and she spotted Normani and some other A-list girls she knew, she was over Olivia and Lennox. They were too boring, and as soon as she unlinked arms with Olivia, she grabbed a drink from the bar and made her way onto the dance floor. Was she really that drunk, or was Mani actually dancing next to, or with Ian?! First this Daniel phase, and now she was into IAN? Kat was sure that Mani was on drugs. What other excuse could there be?

Tray wasn’t very sure of what to do at the moment. He had wanted to let loose and hang out – he wanted to be the person everyone thought he couldn’t be but he knew that if he didn’t go after Raquel as she was leaving he’d lose her. Well, that’s not entirely true. He didn’t know that. He had assumed that if he let her go, she wouldn’t be quite the same girl with him anymore. Tray’s only problem at this point was being a lightweight. That one shot hit him in just the right place and having never had a drop of alcohol before was affecting him in a different way right now. He knew what the right thing to do was but he wasn’t really sure if he was capable of doing it at this point. All he could think about was taking another shot. His judgement was clouded and slowly, Tray was turning into the kind of guy all of his other friends were. He could hear behind him some of the Lacrosse guys chanting, “Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot!” but he could see ahead of him Raquel walking away. She and Tyler walked away from the house together. Tray knew he would never hear the end of it if he didn’t go after her, so he did. He ran after Raquel and Tyler but all he could catch up with was the exhaust fumes her car had left behind. “Shit.” Tray kicked his heel down and ran his hand through his hair as though a desperate movement as such would bring her back to the party. He took his phone out to text her but just as he got it unlocked one of his teammates rushed over to him and pulled him back towards the party.

He downed shot after shot before realizing that he was about 4 or 5 shots in. For a lightweight, he was doing pretty well for himself. Surprisingly, he could still stand. Which was more than could be said of some his buddies. Tray was in the party mood now. His mind was no longer racing, it was no longer pounding at the inside of skull, the voices that drove him crazy with wild thoughts no longer had a voice inside of his head. He had found a new outlet, it wasn't a healthy one but this was a feeling Tray wanted back. This was a feeling Tray didn't want to escape him. As Tray stumbled his way through crowds of people he found one person that he wanted the attention of. Something had come over Tray that turned him into a different person. He wasn't the sweet kid he normally was, he had gone blank in the eyes and there seemed to be no more soul left in him. He stumbled his way over to Katherine, Lennox, and Olivia. They stood together in as little a circle three people could make. Katherine," He spoke, grabbing the attention of the others. "Hey, listen. I think you're cute and I'm a little drunk so I have more courage to say this than I normally would but do you want to go dance with me over there?" He said, pointing behind him to where the DJ was. He grinned warmly at her, but inside there was a lustful feeling.
