The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 10 authors
7:15
7:20
Bright red letters on Jimmy's alarm clock slowly showed time creeping by as he lie in bed. It was wednesday morning in early August, the first day of school. School had already started earlier at 7:00. Being late on the first day is not a good way to start but he was preoccupied with other things. More importantly a viscious screaming match with his father. He's grown to accept them, it was a regular occurence in this house; but, that's not to say it didn't hurt him on the inside. I won't go into detail on what was exchanged verbally, but just know it wasn't friendly and ended in Jimmy storming out of his house angrily, jogging in quite a hurry to get to school.
He got there at 7:30, he didn't live too far from the school, only about a mile and a half (he hadn't stopped jogging once except to pick up a mountain dew from a QT next to the school). He walked slowly through the empty halls of the school as he attempted to locate his homeroom, room 128 with Mr. Stevenson. He liked Mr. Stevenson, having had his classes numerous times before, he was one of the only teachers he liked at all to be honest. He stopped when he located the door and hesitated with his hand on the door handle. He let out a sigh. He didn't want to be on his bad side this early in the year and contemplated skipping homeroom all together, but he needed to get his schedule. Jimmy slowly opened the door and walked into the room.
"Sorry I'm late Mr. Stevenson," he spoke quietly, "I-"
"Take a seat Jimmy," the teacher interrupted. The teacher knew about the problems at Jimmy's house and could figure out that was the cause of him being late. Jimmy walked slowly to the back of the room and sat down in an empty desk. He didn't have any backpack or binder or anything with him, not that it's necessary on the first day or anything. The teacher brought Jimmy his schedule and walked back to the front of the room, continuing on about the school and the school's activities. Jimmy ignored all of this and read his schedule quietly.
Ava hopped into the shower and quickly washed her hair. After stepping out she fixed her signature braid, put on some eyeliner, threw on a dress, and grabbed her fedora for good measure. "Alright Donatello let's eat." when she walked out, Donnie was curled up in her reading chair fast asleep. "Oh come on. You come in to wake me up to feed you and then you go back to sleep." She shook her head and poured food into his bowl, then grabbed an apple and put it in her purse. "Be good Donnie. No accidents today" she said, rubbing the top of his head playfully.
Her apartment was only a couple blocks from school so she felt no need to take the bus or buy a car. She got into her classroom and took a seat next to Jimmy. Ava knew who he was. Almost everyone in the school knew who he was, but only because they knew where to score drugs. The idea intrigued Ava, but instead of wanting to know about his drug escapades, she wanted to know more about HIM as a person. 'there has to be more to him than drugs' she thought. But she pushed the thought away as Mr. Stevenson started speaking.
"You all probably know this already, but for those who are new here to West Cali the school often hosts many after school events, for any type of student. Sports clubs, video game clubs, music clubs, even cultural clubs! Everyone has their place here," Mr. Stevenson spoke in a very enthusiastic and friendly tone. "Our goal here is to make students feel engaged and wanted here at school, even when they aren't in school, to create a friendly, fun learning environment. Forgive me if I sound like I'm some tour guide," he said with a chuckle to which most of the class laughed along with.
Jimmy wasn't really paying attention, it was the same speech that was given every year for the new kids. He was in his own little world tapping on his desk and tapping his feet to the drums of a song that was playing in his head. He was even bobbing his head a little, unbeknownst to him, though it wasn't too noticeable. He stopped then glanced around the room to see if anyone was watching him upon realizing that he was doing it, then smiled to himself and looked at the teacher again.
"If you look at the schedules I've handed out you'll notice an empty column, this is lunch period. It lasts about an hour. There's only one lunch shift, and it's extended to ensure everyone has time to get food and eat. You're free to do whatever you want during lunch, roam around the school, go to the library, even use it as a study period. There's plenty of areas to mingle around the campus, including parks, small school stores, etcetera etcetera. Just make sure you stay on campus!" Mr. Stevenson continued, still maintaining a friendly attitude. This attitude was the one that caused Jimmy to grow so fond of him, something about the teacher made it seem as if he connected directly with the students.
"You enjoying the view" Tristan said joking as he made it to the gate.
Christina laughed "Actually I was and for a moment there I was starting to regret dumping your ass but then you came over here and opened your mouth and now am sure I made the right choice." she said with a smile keeping things in a joking mood.
Tristan raised a suspicious eyebrow "Last time I checked didn't I dump you" he said asking as if he didn't already know the answer. She shrugged "Hey you have your story and I have mine" she replied with a soft smile.
"So, I see Tristan King is getting back in shape after a long summer of fun and relaxation. Honestly I think its a bit much seeing as it is the first day back but hey after being on three championship teams last year I could see why you would want to get back in form." she said tossing her coffee colored hair. Tristan shrugged "Well actually the track team finished second in the finals but I guess two out of three insist bad" he said actually being somewhat disappointed. Sensing this Christina pouted her puppy dog face "Aww Tris how disappointed I am with you how dare you be such the underachiever" she said sarcastically with a playful roll of the eyes.
"Then again seeing as you are cutting your homeroom class I can't say am surprised by your delinquent ways." Tristan looked at her again with a suspicious look "What are you talking about? Girl am earlier." Christina shook her head "Actually boy first period started like ten minutes ago" she said holding up the bathroom pass from her homeroom class "I guess you were so running laps you didn't hear the bell."
"Shit. I'm late. On the first day, not really the best first impression" Tristan said shaking the back of his head. "Well lucky for you it is the first day. Don't worry Tris all teachers love you am sure whoever you have they won't hold it against you. Anyways Ive got to get going before they send out a search party for me." she lend against the gate and gave Tristan a light peck on the cheek "Catch you later Tris" she said stepping back and walking away.
Tristan now realizing he was late for homeroom ran over to where he things laid on the ground and gathered them up quickly. Then he headed hastily into the school going to the boys bathroom and changing into his school clothes. Once changed he left the bathroom and headed to homeroom, his teacher this year was Mr.Stevenson and lucky for him Mr.Stevenson liked him. "Morning Mr.Stevenson. Sorry am late I got caught up with something" he said walking into the room and over to the teacher's desk. "Not to worry Mr.King its only the first day so I'll let it slide. Let's not make this a habit thought" Mr.Stevenson said handing Tristan his schedule then turning his attention back to the class he continued on with his first day of school speech. Tristan nodded taking his schedule and walking over to an empty desk.

It was now 7:20, ten minutes to get to school. "Come on! Come on!" Andrew yelled as it seems everyone wanted to drive slow this morning. He beeps at the cars in front of him, wanting them to speed up as he took a sharp turn, taking a mini detour as he was at the school's parking lot, with two minutes to spare. As he stumbled to get his book bag, Andrew opens up his car door, slamming it shut as he clicks a button that locks the vehicle. He stops by his locker as he throws everything in there but his notebook and a pencil as the bell rings. He runs into Mr. Steveson room, interrupting his first of the day speech. "And why are you late?" Andrew knew all eyes were on him, trying not to look at his classmates, a shrug came over his shoulders as he pats Mr. Steveson on the back. "You was a student before right? Was you ever late?" Andrew laughs a little as Mr. Steveson nodded. "Well played. Here." He hands Andrew his schedule. Andrew nods while walking down the aisle, sitting in the middle of the room in a empty desk. He opens up his notebook and readied his pencil to write as he glared over his schedule for a while.
Hudson groaned in her pillow as she lifts her back cover from her face. "You are late for school anf mother isn't here and I sure as hell am not taking you. She rolled her eyes at her grandmother's voice,God she wished that they could be packed into a box and be sent back to Mexico. Hudson got out of her queen size bed and walked to her small sliding closet, grabbing an outfit she already had set out. She honestly knew she was going to be late, but she always was on the frist day plus she had Mr.S as she called him. The two never saw eye to eye and Hud loved to mess with him. After slipping on her skirt, she slipped on her black motorcycle boots and grabed her messager bag and make up bag. "Mama,i'm going now. And I have a car you know that? She smirked and ran up her stairs inthe kitchen seeing that she lived in the basement. She saw her eighty something year old grandmother cooking with her grandfather reading the paper. "Yes,Hudson we forgot all about that death machine you call a bike. Hudson just grabbed her bike helmet and keys without saying a word. She walked outside and made sure she had everything. "Ipod,check,bags,check......money,damnit. No,no it's here thank you. She started her bike before heading down the street.
Pulling up to the school, she parked in the parking space she did every year since she started driving her sophomore year. She tooked her helmet off and saw a few people just stamnding outside te school, smoking. "Hey,Riv. Been a while since you had a smoke, want one? Now,Hudson wasn't the smartest girl but she sure wasn't stupid. "Elliot,I don't smoke weed. I smoke decently and legally....kind of." She smirked and hit him upside the head before heading inside. "You don't know what you're missing. She rolled her eyes and just walked to her locker, taking her time. She wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere. Getting to her locker, she threw her helmet in and put her magnetic mirror to the metal door as she did her make up. She didn't wear much except for black eyeliner and her foundation. After a second, she looked at the time on the wall cloak. "Shit. She slammed her locker closed and walked to the room, when she opened the door she din't care who as looking."Cutting it a little late aren't we Miss.River? Are you trying to get in trouble your frist day back.Hudson just stopped dead in her tracks and lifted her head up. "No,sir but I apoligize for my unexcuseable tardiness. Please could you ever forgive me?" She said with sarcasm just driping out her throat. She heard a few snickers as she looked at the teacher. "Take a seat Hudson, right here in the front. Mr.Stevenson said handing her,her schedule with a smirk on their face. He was her favorite teacher, they just had a love hate relationship, just like she was with almost everyone else in that prison called a school. "Thank you,Mr.Stevenson. She smiled and just walked to a seat in the front. She put her bag on the floor and exhaled. This is going to be a good ass year.
She looked at Mr.Stevenson who was right back to talking, she wasn't listening. She already heard the lecture her freshmen year and she could live without hearing it again. She grabbed out her favorite Star Wars pencil and started to beat softly on her desk. She looked around and saw a few faces she remebered, then again Hudson could barely remember anything without writing it down. What can she say,she remembered faces not names. But,she did see a few people from the soccer team and from her regular clique of nerds. She smiled at them and looked back at her pencil andthe desk
Kay didn't live far from the school, so she would probably only manage to get one cigerette in before class began. She walked past the track field seeing the ex-lovebirds chatting it up. She rolled her eyes at the young lovers. She rubbed her arm where she had added a new tattoo to her sleeve and smiled at how good it was turning out. She had just tossed the last bit of her cigerette to the ground when she heard the bell ring. "Fucking kidding me." She said as she barely sped up her pace to maybe not be as late as she hoped.
Walking into the school was a nightmare, she could tell it was the first day of school because most of the kids were still in the hallway in a panic mode. She could pick out the freshmen who had their books pushed to their chest out of fear that one of the upperclassmen would knock them out. She pulled out her schedule one last time to make sure she got her homeroom right.. Mr. Steveson? Right!
"Sorry, Mr. Steveson." Kay said as she turned the corner into his room. "I tried making it on time.." She held up two fingers before continuing. "Scouts honor." She saw that there were still some empty seats, so she grabbed the closest one to the door. Just as she sat down she sat the track runner come through the door. "See, I'm not the last one here." She gave Tristan a quick smile before mouthing the word 'Sorry' to him. Mr. Steveson gave a quick speech to the class that the first week was understandable, but making this into a habit would turn into trouble. It wasn't that hard to get.
She turned in her chair to wave at Jimmy. She hadn't really gotten along with Jimmy until this summer, but she was glad she had a friend. Unfortunately for her, most of her friends had graduate the previous year. As Mr. Steveson handed out their schedules she caught herself lose interest in the conversation, so she turned toward Tristan and smiled. "How are you and.." She thought for a second. "What is her name again.. Christina?"
Jimmy finished sipping on his soda that he had gotten from QT earlier and set it on the front of his desk before looking to his left, hearing whispers.
"Jimmy! JIMMY! Jimmayyy! pssssst!"
He was trying to ignore them but when he looked over, he whispered back "What?" fairly loud and annoyed.
"Dannyboy what's up?"
"Oh nothing I'm just horseback riding down a mountain, you?"
"Veery funny Jimmy. Still.. you're probably enjoying this class more than me."
"Oh? And why is that?"
"Cause you're always blazed, man."
Jimmy smiled and laughed silently. "Contrary to popular beliefs I'm actually not always stoned. Crazy, right?"
"Woah, a stoner who isn't stoned?"
"I'm not a stoner, silly."
"Then what are you?"
"A.." he paused to think, "one who pursues the higher pleasures of life who just so happens to love and respect the joys of both cannabis and hallucinogens."
"So.. stoner?"
"Screw you." Jimmy replied jokingly. The guy he was talking to was a friend of his. Not really a friend so much as a 'customer' but they socialized quite often. Not over summer break though, as the other guy had been out of town all summer.
Jimmy surveyed the classroom. He really didn't recognize anyone except for Matt, whom which he was just talking to, and Makayla, who he only knew since summer.
Ava closed her sketchbook and put it away, feeling eyes on her. She pretended she was paying attention and nodded toward Mr. Stevenson to begin again. He smiled and walked back to the front of the classroom. 'If I can't sketch I may as well practice piano' she smirked at the thought and started lightly tapping her fingers on the desk. It made very little noise, if any at all. She just imagined the keys in front of her and played her concert piece, smiling as she thought of caressing the actual ivory keys of her baby grand at home.
As he was going over his new schedule for the semester Tristan heard a girl's voice speak in his direction. He looked up not sure if the girl was talking to him or someone seating near him but as he looked at the girl's face her smile in directed towards him told him she was talking to him. "How are you and.." the girl paused for moment "What is her name again.. Christina?" Tristan gave a slight chuckle he wasn't even sure if he knew this girl but she obviously knew who he was. Tristan shifted his position in his chair so that he was facing the girl "Me and Christina are actually doing really well. I mean were not together anymore if that what you were wondering but yeah were still good." he said in a nonchalant tone. Tristan looked at the girl when the stoner from the back of the room started up conversation with the mysterious chick so Tristan dropped the conversation turning back around in his chair.
Tristan folded up his schedule and put it in his pocket as Mr.Stevenson started shouting at a student in the back of the room trying to get their attention. Tristan wasn't paying much attention until he heard Mr.Stevenson mention him saying "Oh, and that is a fine drawing of Mr. King." Tristan looked to the back of the room and glanced at the girl who had been drawing him, as Mr.Stevenson walked back up to the front of the room "Well if Mr.S feels like its a good drawing then I guess you can't be a bad artist. Let me know if you ever want to finish up that sketch" he gave a small smile before turning back around in his seat.
"Oh, and that is a fine drawing of Mr. King." Hudson caught a chuckle from coming out of her by covering it with her arm. On the inside she was dying, not at the poor girl in general but that she was drawing Tristan. After a second,Hudson felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She looked at the text and chuckled.
Are you stillcoming to the nerd movie night,we're having tonight??
~Mia
Hudson looked at her closest nerd friend and shook her head. She looked at her with sad eyes and pouted before mouthing the word,"I can't. Sorry,I have a futbo--I mean soccer game tonight. I have to make a raincheck. She shrugged,God soccer was getting in the way of everything for her. I mean she did love playing soccer and she did love the friends she made because of it but it kept getting in the way of all her plan with her original friends. She got a another text from her friend.
You're alway busy! The others and I think, you're leaving us just like you know who. Are you? She dropped her phone in her bag and rolled her eyes again. She looked back to her friend and shook her head. She exhaled and before raising her hand. "Mr.S,we all know the rules and we have all heard this lecture before,I mea the freshmen heard it in eight grade just like we all did--at least most of us did. And well,I think just because i'm one of your favorite student that you should just give us free time. So i could draw an anim Dark Vader on my hand,That girl can finish the picture of Tristan, and the rest of us can sleep. I mean it's Monday morning, non of us want to be here,so might as well save your breath for the rest of the day. She smiled sweetly and lowered her hand. "Miss.River,I am almost done. Give me at least five more minutes before your impacient side kicks in. River sighed and shook her head before returning to her 'awesome' drumming pencil skills. "Give me five more minutes before you get impacient....I don't get impacient. I'm a teenage girl, cut me some slack, shit. She kept her eyes on her desk trying not to fall alsleep, seeing that she fell alsleep at 4am in the morning after being on the intenet non-stop all weekend.
"Can you? I don't know, can you? Do you posses the physical ability to use the restroom?" Mr. S responded, with a heavy dose of sarcastic humor.
"I don't know, that's why I'm asking you." Jimmy paused, "Sorry, may I use the restroom?"
"Are you going to come back?" Mr. S responded again, it wouldn't have been the first time Jimmy left class by asking to go to the restroom.
"Probably," Jimmy said with a slight grin, he wasn't planning on ditching class he just wanted to get out of the dreadful speech. That, and he was dying to go get a can of soda from one of the school vending machines.
"Alright, take a pass," the teacher said before pointing towards his desk as if Jimmy didn't know where they were. Jimmy stood up and walked over, picked up one of the passes and left the room. He let out a heavy sigh upon exiting the classroom and began to make his way towards the lunchroom. There were vending machines dotted all over the school, selling things such as candy, snacks, soda, bottled water, most of the snacks were healthy snacks of course.
About halfway to the lunchroom he spotted a vending machine, he was looking for this one in particular. He wasn't exactly a cheapskate but he didn't have any money, and if you hit the coin return button fairly hard, it would drop a few quarters. It was probably just broken, but nobody had noticed save for a few people. Jimmy hit the button. Not too hard to make a noticeably loud bang, just to get a couple quarters. He then put them in the coin slot and got a mountain dew out of the machine, then began walking back to class.
((It's funny because I used to have a soda machine at my school that did that, until they fixed it. ;-;))
Party tonight in The Corn Field. Tell everyone. She didn't have the number in her phone, so she just forwarded the text to every person she knew at school. Just as she was about to put it up she heard Mr. Steveson speak up. Lucky for her, he was getting on to the girl in the back for texting. With relief, she quickly put her phone away hearing a few phones go off in class assuming it was her text that she had sent out.
This time her attention was drawn by a girl who spoke about her art. 'Wow. I don't think anyone has ever defended me.' she thought, confused by the girl's intentions. 'I'm glad someone agrees with me. He's go the facial structure of a Grecian god, every artist's DREAM' she realized the thought was very dorky but she didn't care. It was true. Then she heard a few phones go off in class just before the bell rang and rolled her eyes playfully. A few minutes later she got a text that she assumed was sent out in mass. 'A cornfield party...yipee' she thought. She didn't really fit in with the usual cliques at the school so everyone normally just gave her odd looks if she showed up at a party.
Ava picked up her books and stuffed them into her messenger bag, but held her sketchbook in her hands. As a football jock came by, he deliberately swiped the book out of her hands and it hit the floor, scattering random drawings everywhere. 'Good God. I feel like the stereotypical cliche dork in terrible high school movie' she thought as she bent down to start picking up her drawings.

After a few moments of utter silence, Mr. Steveson rubbed the top of his head, going on with class as he looks around the room, then lays his head back down as he continues to write in his notebook.
He slipped his phone back into his pocket and placed the hallpass back on Mr. Stevenson's desk and walked back to his own. "Thanks for telling me 'bout tonight," he said to Makayla as he passed her desk, "I'm sure it's gonna be fucking awesome." Jimmy didn't bother sitting down because just as he reached his desk, the bell rang. Go figure, right? He picked up the soda he sat down earlier so he could throw it away, he didn't want to leave trash laying around in mr. S's room. That would just be rude, not that Jimmy would care in normal circumstances, but he liked Mr. S. While he was bent over, he picked up a couple of the drawings that had been knocked onto the floor by the jock. "These are really good," he said, handing them back to Ava.
He diverted his attention to his schedule, he noticed his next class was Chemistry. Greeaat. He wasn't bad at it, in fact he was very good at chemistry, whether it be lab experiments or stoichiometry, but he wasn't exactly excited about the class.

Although Dante knew that what the man really meant was "We're just saying this so that we don't get sued". Still, he smiled and left in a polite manner.
Dante walked through the hallway and formed a twitch in his fingers as he heard the snickers and word "Fag" multiple times behind his back. It was hard, but he managed to keep his tears inside and continue to his homeroom. Only making the pain in his chest worse. Just as he was about to reach his homeroom a large boy ,who Dante never saw before, pushed him into the walls and ran away laughing out "Go kill yourself". After that Dante couldn't take it, he ran too the bathroom with his hand over his eyes so no one could see him crying.
Time seemed to fly by as he let out all his tears. It was only when his phone began to vibrate. He ignored the message and ran to his homeroom. When he got there the bell rang so he just got his schedule. He noticed a nice looking girl on the floor picking up drawings. He was about to help her when a very cute guy helped her. Dante built up all the courage he had and went up to the girl Hi, I'm Dante. Nice sketches. Umm.... you have history next right? Do you mind if I walk with you?".
She didn't look back as she walked past the corner. She cleared her throat and adjusted how her bag was on her shoulder. After a while she saw a few friends from the soccer team, she just had a small smile on as she focused on the rock music in her ears. She walked into her chemistry class and grabbed a seat close to the back, she hated chemistry more than any other subject but it wasn't her hardest, she just couldn't stand it. She put her bag in the seat next to her so others, mainly sophomores and freshmen knew betet then to sit next to her. She saw the teacher walk out of the room for a second and she groaned. "This class sucks so bad. She wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, hell with how loud her music was,she couldn't even hear herself. And that's exatly how she like it,but as she lookd around she didn't see many of her close friends which meant she would be forced to stay focused. Great, this is gonna be fun.
Tristan looked up as Mr.S started getting on a girl in class about texting during his speech. A moment later his phone started vibrating in his pocket Tristan took out his phone and knowing that Mr.S wouldn't say anything to him about he went through it in open view. He had gotten a text from a teammate of his about a party going down tonight that he had gotten a text about. Tristan had nothing to do after school and with this being the first day of classes he knew they would be no homework given out, so he texted his friend back saying he was in for the party tonight. With his text sent he put the phone back in his pocket and looked up at Mr.S who had gone back to talking, a couple of minutes later one of Tristan's friends from off of the football team walked into class. He Tristan a five and preceded to the back of the class knocking a book out of the artistry girl's hands, Tristan sighed 'New Year. Same shit' he thought to himself, he was going to help the girl pick up her stuff but the stoner kid had beat him to it.
Tristan looked up at the digital clock class was close to over as another late kid entered the classroom. He had begun to zone out like the rest of the class when the voice of that artistry girl snapped him back into reality. She was screaming at the jock who had knocked her book out of her hands and by the looks of it she was defiantly putting him in his place. As the other kids started to form a circle around the four students Tristan got up and joined the crowd, this whole thing had gone from being about a book to being about gay people. He watched as the girl verbally attacked his teammate saying things that may or may not be true and with nothing left to the say the football player swung at the girl at a final attempt to ... well save his dignity Tristan figured but it was clearly much to late for that. The girl dodged the punch counterattacking with a hard blow to the jock's precious jewels. As the guy fell to the floor and obvious and reasonably pain the bell rang signaling the end of this long and boring homeroom.
With the period being over the crowd moved out heading to their next period classes. Tristan walked over to his bag and put it on his back before returning to his humiliated teammate, he took a seat on the floor next to the guy who's face was still a bright red from the pain he had just encountered. Tristan gave a light sigh "I know this may not be the best time to say this but am going to say it anyway. Firstly .." Tristan paused letting out a hushed chuckle "You just got your ass beat by girl." Tristan burst out laughing but he quickly gained control over his laughter knowing that he was not helping the situation. "Now secondly ... honestly what were you thinking? I mean you were really about to hit a girl because she what bruised your ego" he looked the guy square in the face and in return the guy look to the floor. Tristan just sighed patting the guy's shoulder "Come on Jackson. Let's go get an ice pack before your .... things .. swell up .. yeah." Tristan put the Jackson's arm around his neck and lifted the two of them up. Then he gave a small goodbye wave to Mr.Stevenson who was the only one left in the classroom and walked his friend slowly to the nurse's office.
The room reeked of sulfur though it wasn't overwhelming, no more than that of a few bottlerockets being shot off. The room itself was very inviting and colorful for a chemistry class with many informative and easy on the eyes posters. The desks, which were black tables with chairs at them, were aligned on horizontal rows with groups of two chairs at each. Jimmy chose a seat at an empty table in the left side of the room; upon sitting down he proper his feet up on the table and relaxed. The teacher wasn't in the room, he was probably in the bathroom or teachers lounge getting coffee.
He didn't to fail to notice a few people who were in his homeroom were in chemistry with him, but he didn't say anything.

On his way to class, he bumps into people. A shrug of his shoulders, he reached Chemistry class, seeing only a few students in there, some from his homeroom. He smiles at them, nervously, noticing the teacher wasn't there at the moment, maybe in the bathroom or something. The stench smell of Sulfur hit him in the face as he coughed a little bit. Andrew sees the kid, propping his feet up on the black table as he shook his head. He walks right up to the desk where he was, standing in front of him as he points to the empty seat next to him. "May I sit there?" He waits for an answer from him, smiling a little nervously.
Jimmy was a bit confused; being a rather observant fellow he noted there were plenty of empty seats. But what harm could the kid be? After all, after what happened in the hall Jimmy felt bad for the kid.
"Sure man, go ahead," he said in a friendly tone. Jimmy didn't plan on making friends with him, not because he had anything against Andrew but because he wasn't exactly the most sociable guy while sober. Jimmy detected the nervousness in Andrews smile which only made him feel a bit more sympathy towards him. What the hell, he thought, why not give the kid a chance.
"What's your name kid?"

Collectibles
By creating Collectibles, you can reward your players with unique items that accentuate their character sheets.
Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name
(case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name
to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.
Mobs
Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
Current Mobs
