Name: Raymond Albrecht
Nickname: Ray
Age: Twenty-five
Personality: To most people, Ray is basically a Negative-Nelly who doesn't enjoy social interaction. In all honesty, though, he's a strongly-opinionated introvert. From past experience, he's learned to not involve himself in other people's business. Instead, he prefers to make decisions for himself and then rub it in when the other person fails. In most cases, he'll stay silent or, if a bad idea threatens the well-being of his group, he'll voice his opinion loudly and clearly, then fall silent again. He keeps to himself and hates "frivolous" activity in most cases. He seems to fit the stereotypical "lawyer" mold. Ray also hates ignorance and quickly snaps at someone who says something stupid.
History: Raymond Albrecht grew up without a mother his entire life. From what he later deducted, his mother had just dropped him on to his father's doorstep as a kid. Raymond was a quiet child and he grew up in the house of his father, a chronic alcoholic. In school, he greatly excelled in his classes and was bullied for it. On top of this, his drunk father regularly abused him physically and verbally to the point where he would wake up half an hour early to try to cover his black-and-blue marks and cry himself to sleep. Most of the verbal abuse consisted of being told he was a failure and not good enough. When Raymond was twelve, his father married a woman who was in her early twenties. In less than a year, his sister Alexandra was born.
Though his father soon divorced, Ray became extremely close to his sister and occasionally took beatings from their dad for her, although he slowly eased up. When Ray was eighteen, he received a partial scholarship to Harvard to become a lawyer. Upon asking his father for money to help pay the rest of his tuition, he was severely beaten and then yelled at. From then on, he never truly looked a his father or others in the same light. Ray did graduate Harvard, though he was still greatly in debt when the apocalypse began. Presently, he had been going into law school, having just received his bachelor's degree
