The setting changes from Three Channels Down to The Starting Room
She stared at him for a while, wondering if he was the person who had brought her here, but he looked just like he had no idea what was happening either. She took her eyes off of him and looked at all the people still sleeping on the floor. There really was quite a few people apparently in the same predicament as herself.
Abbie checked her pockets over for anything she might find that would help her remember, coming up empty, she sighed. Her head was empty along with her pockets, all she knew was the four white walls enclosed around her. She stopped fidgeting and sat still, eyeing the man who was already awake.
Devren sighed, "So you're in this too?" He still stared around the room, seeing that no one else was awake. "I don't know what else to say... um, I think my name was Danny? No, no, no, no. Not that.", he asked himself. Trying to remember something that wasn't even there is one of the most difficult things that the human mind can bear. It's like walking through a fog that seems to go on forever.
Devren, tapping his chin, muttered, "Devren? Is that it?" It was the only this name to come to his mind as he raced through it. He could only think of that one name so it must be true to him. Shrugging his shoulders, he waved once to the sitting girl saying, "My name is Devren... I think. Can you remember yours?"
He made a valid point though, what was her name? She tried to think of something, anything. Her head gave nothing, no hunches or guesses. She shook her head again after thinking. For a second she thought if the name Devren rang any bells but once again, nothing came up. Did she have any reason to be scared? She thought long and hard. She didn't feel scared, just confused and curious. She looked back to the man and lifted her hands to try to tell him she couldn't remember. She pointed to her temple and shrugged, she hoped that was more understandable than the hand puppet thing.
"I think...I think my name is...Beatr...no, Beau. My name is Beau." She said firmly. "Do either of you remember anything?" She asks, not realizing that the girl in front of her can't speak. She looks around the room and notices the padded walls. They look like giant marshmallow pillows that she could just squish her way through, but something told her there was no way out of here.
She noticed she was wearing a loose striped sweater and a tank top with some people on it, but she had no idea who they were or why she would choose to wear it. Her jeans had holes in the knees and what looked like paint stains on them, but again she had no idea why. Was she an artist? If so, what kind of art did she create? Checking her pockets, she found nothing, but she did notice by accident that her nails were considerably long and sharp. Did that mean something? Ugh, this is so confusing...
He touched around the padded walls and viewed the blatant looking section of the room that was obviously the way out. Devren reached for a handle, but alas there was none to be found. Damn. He looked around to the two awake and stated, "But your guess is as good as mine: to tell us why we're here. We can't remember anything." His brow furrowed as he reached in his pocket and pulled out his watch. The clock was still broken, but to see even the tiniest movement would have given him hope.
She sat back down next to Devren and blew out a breath. Looking to the girl across from her, she waved her hand, still unaware that the girl can't speak. "I still didn't catch your name," she says, "what is it? Do you remember?"
Trying to keep his mind off the room's intimidating structure, he turned to Beau and asked, "That paint on your pants... it looks like acrylic. Which means it'll rub off with a bit of saliva. Think the mute girl over there can use it to at least tell us her name?"
With a glance up, she noticed Devren had a slightly frantic look on his face. "Hey," she said softly, "don't focus on the insanity. Think about being here, without anything else butting in. Instead of looking at the walls, close your eyes. Picture...fields. With flowers, and trees, and even a puppy with a child, running around and laughing. The flowers smell like your favorite fragrance...lavender. Let's make it lavender. The trees are blowing in the wind...and the child laughs as she throws the ball for her dog..." Beau trails off, realizing she was creating the picture for herself as well. Something about it rang a bell, but nothing came to mind. Nothing at all.
She clears her throat. "Better?"
He stared off into space, thinking of the smell of alcohol. As if in the very room, someone was spraying an aerosol-like substance. His mind filled with brick walls, but then all of that faded away as he pulled himself out of his trance. Devren looked to her and asked, "You feel like that's part of your memories? I mean its better than what we have now, which is nothing." He tapped his chin and said, "I had something for a few moments, but I'm not sure if it's true or not.
"Ngh...what did I miss? Where are...we?"
His voice goes up on the last word as he finally manages to get a good look at the trio that are standing, clearly not expecting to be anything but alone.
He looked back to the walls and searched them like clockwork, spying for any impurity in them besides the paint stained to the floor. Not ignoring the new candidate for his life, Devren continued, "You got a name? Or do you think you do." Devren continued to read the walls as he slowly paced, reaching the corner before looking back at the man.
"Ian. My name's Ian. What's yours?"
Beau noticed Devren, again, looking intently at the walls. She knew he was just trying to discern where they were, and she gave him credit for having the patience to do that. Generally, she preferred to just hash it out through trial and error, cause and effect. She looked around at the group and blew out a breath. "I think the first step is to figure out why we're here. Is it something we all have in common? Not that we would know anything common from our pasts since we can't remember anything..." She grumbled.
Devren held his chin with his thumb and index finger, starting to pace around the room, thinking about these variables to their history. It felt like they were getting closer to the start of their lives. Well, at least their occupations at least. Devren stopped thinking and asked Ian, "Ian, if you have any thoughts, any thoughts at all, trust them. If you automatically assume that your attire relates to your line of work, go with that. It's all we have."

Getting hot she took off her jacket to keep cool and laid it on the floor next to her. Looking it over a label stuck out. She noticed a handwritten word in black ink written on the label and so she grabbed it quickly. Abbie. Her name was Abbie? She smiled, for once writing your name on your labels actually did something. She picked up the jacket and walked over to where Devren as he was the one she had had the most conversation with.
She pointed at the label as she held her jacket out, she knew her name and he could say it out loud for everyone else. The fact she knew her name made her happy, she's one step closer to finding out everything else.
Looking over, she saw another newcomer awaken. The new boy rose and looked around. She sighed and waved her hand in the direction of the walls. "We've already examined our options. There's no way out. What's your name?"
Devren relaxed and listened to what Beau had to say. Hearing the quick introduction to the event, Devren flicked his head to the guy and said, "My name is Devren. The who talked to you is Beau. The one with the glasses, Ian. And the quiet one's name is Abbie." He almost felt like greeting him, but that would just seem rude and out of place. So, Devren instead took in a deep breath and let it out. He then looked back to his pocket watch and kept flicking it, hoping for it to work. At least it kept him distracted from the madness.
Abbie still wasn't sure how she actually felt about this whole situation, she wasn't freaking out like she probably should be. For all she knew she might've gotten into this room on purpose for one reason or another. Her past self might've gone into this knowing what would happen. This thought calmed her, for a minute she forgot that she didn't know anyone or anything and found solace in the fact that this could all be part of a big plan, like a surprise birthday party, but extreme.

Devren was going to try and recall why he had these colors in his mind, but the man's screaming to the right of him got him more focused on the situation. He tried to keep himself from yelling as well as the man on the floor screamed and the fell down, shuddering like an insect on the ground. Devren thought to try and meet him face to face, but the other man's face told him otherwise. He kept his distance, trying to protect himself and asked the man, "Are you bleeding? Or is it just your head screaming at you?" Devren had little knowledge on anything medical. Actually, he hadn't no medical knowledge at all at the moment. Thinking about the current situation and looked to the rest of the group his eyes wide in concern.
