{This is an old roleplay of mine, that I want to re-write, as it didn't really start off the first time. :D }

Something as simple as love can be as complex as your mind allows you to think it is. It is a special, and long awaited bond between two people, that lasts a lifetime, if they treat it right. The funny thing about love is, you never know who you will end up with in the end.

But with love comes prices, privileges, and consequences. What if the one you are falling in love with is doing the same, yet with someone else? What if they have already fallen in love with someone, and don't believe in love anymore, because of a failed relationship that left them alone, with a child they didn't expect either?

And oh, the secrets. Everyone has their own dirty little secret that eats away at them, for the rest of their lives, until they're put 6 feet under. Could your love be an old thief, and steal your heart? What if they lied about their life to make you fall in love with them, forever?

The question that remains...

Will you fall in love?

All the characters reside in the west side of Manhattan. It doesn't matter what they live in, house, apartments, street, I'll leave that up to you. If you don't know what to do for an occupation here are some local businesses/corporations:

- An Institution called, "Hazel Incorporated", which ships out merchandise to other big name companies. It employs them at their main building in the East side of Manhattan. Currently, they are in need of such as a delivery man, packaging employee, Manager, etc.

- "Joe's BBQ" is a small, country - themed restaurant where waiters/waitresses are required to wear cowboy/cowgirl uniforms. They are known for their sweet tea and steak.

- "Manhattan West Side Hospital" is the hospital for the West Side of Manhattan, New York. They're always in need of nurses, male or female.

- "La Cruise" is a party-going bar, where all the hip 20 somethings usually go. They play the latest music, and are always abnoxiously loud.

{The Liar} is pretty good at one thing. You guessed it. Lying. He started lying when he was about 10, and got himself out of laps around the track from his Coach, for calling the smallest on the team, 'wimp'. He told the Coach that his best friend, Tommy, told the boy that. Needless to say, they haven't even looked at each other since.

In more recent news, he is the father of Emily's child. He left her alone, after claiming he was 'going out on the town with a few of his buds from work' that night, years ago. Ever since, he's been alone, and he's starting to regret his actions towards her.

{The Thief} has always been one for being independent. It's all she's ever really known how to do right, so why not improve until she's the best she can be at stealing? She's robbed multiple stores in a single day, and hasn't been caught yet.

{The Beggar} has basically had to beg for everything she's ever had in her life. Going through multiple adoptions, she finally turned 18, and could go out on her own. Being independent since, she doesn't know what it's like to have company that wants her.

{The Alcoholic} can't remember his life before he discovered the lovely liquid he downs twice a day, and is the reason he is personally known by the owner of his regular bar. He only remembers the yelling, and the bullets whizzing through the air. He went into the Army at the age of 18, not really knowing what else to do. His friends all signed up, so he did too. He watched most of them die right in front of him.

Emily Andrews is a 20 year old Mom, who thought she'd found the world, when she ran away with her then fiance, {The Liar}. They ran away together when she was 18, and their relationship came to hurtling stop, when Maya found out she was pregnant. {The Liar} constantly lied to her, and sometimes she thought he was even with other women. At age 19, she was a single mother, {The Liar} leaving her to fend for her and their child. Fair enough, she doesn't want to 'fall in love' again, and isn't looking for a relationship. At all.

Her and her daughter, a one year old girl named Makayla, are currently residing in a small apartment in "The West Side", a cheaper apartment complex in the West side of Manhattan.
