Skryo's Story

" It been a while since I been in new York, things have surely change since my last visit here " He said as he tap a couple codes in the his wrist watch and two thing pop up locations of the nearest cyborgs and implant patients " Well time to pay a visit to my children " He said as he send a small Signal that only cyborg could understand it was something he didn't much as it override some of the codes and forces them to listen " Agh I hope this turns better than my last visit " He said scanning the area he detected some cops and decided to hit the alleys and stay close to the shadows.

Sitting alone in a abandoned warehouse, the lights inside flickering slightly. It was a perfect place to set up a trade off..which was exactly what the man outside was thinking. "She better not try and screw me on this." he mumbled under his breath as he stepped inside. Most of the area lay dark and mysterious. His nerves were on edge, as if he thought the darkness itself was out to get him.

"Come further inside Mr. Dalski. Your package is waiting." the voice sounded sultry, enticing and yet elusive all at once. He continued further inside where he found a table in the middle of the room with a suitcase on it. By that, he saw a woman standing there. "You must be Skryo?" She remained still, not revealing anything to the question. "Well, whatever. You're payment for the job is here AI."

Mr. Dalski held up a small bag in his left hand. She eyed it greedily. "I do hope you got the current model." He only nodded. "Good. Check the contents to make sure I'm not cheating you and then you are free to leave." The man cautiously approached, keeping his eye on the woman.
She looked human, although everyone who made deals with her knew better. This was just a shell for her to be present for the trade. She was one of the most sophisticated AI that could hack her way past almost anything. That's what he had her do..get his competitors secret experiment files for his firm.

Her body was lithe, thin but firm. Her eyes were cold and dominant. Her fake metal skin was slightly less shiny than normal sliver, but was covered by human clothes. He opened the case and checked the files. "You do excellent work Skryo. Sad that you freelance though." He left the bag on the table and walked back out of the front entrance. She took the bag and removed the contents. "Newest update for hacker software. Wonderful."

She waited for Mr. Dalski to be away from the area and then proceeded to exit the warehouse herself, heading towards the center of town. She needed to find a safer place to upload this program and adapt it to her network.

He continued walking with his hood on his head he continued walking he detected a small AI nearby he decided to reach for it if he could find a terminal he would get himself a place to stay and some cash to pass the time while he start the first part of his plan. " Here I am there is nothing I can't do about if I talk to the undertown owner so he could get some circuits, and part to create a small companion life was beggining to seem rather boring with no one to share his time with.

Skryo met up with Fox, her handler. He was just some street kid who she ran into some months ago and offered to help her out when she needed him. Mainly he ships her body around when she's linked into the neural network. Keeps her safe from hackers and looters and the like.
"Hey sky...get what you came here for?" She held up the disk. "Yep...I need you to keep an eye on this body while I link in and upload the program. I'll be back in about an hour or so. You get a safe place picked out?"
The boy nodded.

"Yep. Right down at the end of this alley here. Only way in or out and I'll be keeping an eye out case anyone tries anything. You'll be safe there." She nodded and entered the hallway. Fox was reliable..he knew this entire city like the back of his hand. Extremely impressive for a 14 year old. Still, who was she to complain? Once she arrived at the end of the alley, she opened her metallic bodies interface and inserted the disk. She sat down as she felt the body powering down as the program began to link to her neural processing network.

" ah there you are " He said as he notice the spike In the net, He began running towards the source of the new code he smiled and try to contact the ai " dont be alarm I'm shiro your creator I need a favor I'm coming over to chat " He said as he near the alley his implants scant the area and he notice a bio ". A human ? What's going on " He said as he ran faster he noticed the body of the girl and the other kid " Hey step away from the ai kid don't try anything stupid " He said as he pointed the gun at the kid and look at the kid waiting for a movement " this is ai is not rogue so leave it alone " He tap his wrist watch still trying to comunicate with the ai " abort your function if you don't your body might become compromise ".

The program was almost fully connected to her network when she received a weird signal pinging through the neural networking system. Someone trying to contact me? She halted the upload and scanned the nearby signal, learning that in the real world it was coming closer. She had to get back to her body!

Damn! I was so close too! She cut the connection from the system and retraced the link signal back to her metallic body. She was still where Fox had left her, but now there was a human there as well. Least he looked human..there was something off about this guy. She stood up slowly seeing he had a gun and popped the disk out if her loading interface, taking it out and putting back in the bag.
"Alright..whoever you are, you found me. Now mid telling me exactly what you want? What exactly were you trying to pull threatening me by saying I'd become compromised if I didn't comply?"

Even if she was just an AI, she didn't take kindly to threats..or someone threatening her handler for that matter. "you got 30 seconds to convince me of what you want and that I'd be interested."

" Look at your program search the history of the first ai and who gave them free will " He said putting his gun away and waited for the girl to do so he saw the boy ran away " And about the compromising I though that kid was going to mess with your program nothing is more vulnerable than ever " He said as he scan the area for others humans incoming " I need a favor from you skyro, model ai status free lance " He said as he got her profile " I'm looking for a man the one who made your body I need his help " He said smiling while he wasn't a treat to her and while he didn't look that old it was infact him was the cause the ai and the sync were in existansce today

She reluctantly searched the databases for what he had suggested. She quickly scanned through the online files and found one about the creator. "you expect me to believe this is actually you? By the way, that kid...was my handler."
Did he honestly expect her to believe he was the original creator? That person was probably long since dead by now.

This man had something about him that unnerved her a little. "Even if i did have it, you should know by now that with me, you have to trade. Something for something. That's how it works. By the looks of it, you don't have anything to trade. Find me again when you do...and maybe we'll talk."
She walked past him and began heading towards the entrance of the alley where she saw Fox waiting for her. "Hey sky..everything alright? That lunatic scared me waving a gun in my face!" She laughed.
"Well, he's quite the eccentric..but he might come through. C'mon..take me somewhere more secure. I need to get this program loaded."

Fox nodded and proceeded to take her through a bunch of back alleys and deserted roads.
He had just the place in mind where he could take her.

He smiled and continued walking he look at his watch and sigh the time was getting shorter he tap a couple digits and send the ai a data package " Conside it a gift, I know your models strength and weakness call it your balance this shall help you with your daily activities I augmented your hacking abilities and your core memories now you can keep track of your hacks long after they are gone plus your body is now powerful enough to be a terminal on the move don't waste it though the energy it consumes could put you out of commission for couple mins. " He said into the message and send it to the ai. As he walked towards the rain a cop car close his way and he jump over it " Dammit not now " He said as he walk ran to a nearby ally trying to hide from the cops.

He manage to avoids the cops and continues running making his way back to the Ai he just met before trying to see if she has changed his mind. He notices someone else was tracking her but it was too late to block him from getting her so instead he locked the Ai profile so he wouldn't be able to obtain it. He hid in the shadows and notice the character standing next to the ai he notice his implants and his gear. He tap a couple commands into his watch to discretely disable them without the man knowing. He decided to asses the situation a little better if he represented no treat he would turn them back on if he did then he would fry them in an instant " She is with me we are just traveling you know visiting I need it a vacation from home " He said as he mask his info id to blend with some average joe info just his picture on it the encryptions was hard to crack if he was to check up on it would take a good 2 days to decipher it. " Is there a problem here ? " He said as he stood next to the ai analyzing the man and preparing counter measures.

Skryo sighed as she followed Fox through the alleyways. He knew these streets and if he said he knew where to go for something, he meant it! She was not at all surprised when Shadow Wolf appeared before her. They had their bouts before..mostly verbal since she didn't have any sort of fighting ability. He'd show up, lecture her about her ways, how she should change and threaten to bring her in and then head off to fight more bad guys. Mostly the reason she thought he didn't arrest or destroy her was he had no solid proof of her dealings.
"Hello shadow wolf. What brings you here to this part of town? I'd have thought you would have bigger criminals to catch besides little old me." Mainly he seemed to keep warning her of the repercussions of her actions whenever they'd meet like this, but this time looked different. Was he going to try and take her down?

Suddenly, she felt her internal mechanisms shift. Someone was messing with her programming. Is this that stupid "creator" again? Can't he take a hint? She sighed when he came up behind her. "Would you stop it? you're embarrassing yourself." She turned to Shadow Wolf again. "So..you going to tell me exactly why you're out here tracing me down? You going to try and take me in Wolf...or you going to slap my wrist with another warning?"

She almost laughed. "Me? you want to hire me? Tempting to be sure, but I think I'll pass. You know better than anyone Shadow Wolf that I love the freedom that comes with my work. You want my help taking down the criminals that the law cannot touch...because I AM one of those criminals. You and whatever resources haven't been able to touch me for this long, so now you going with the old philosophy 'if you can't beat ém..join ém!' save for a little twist on your end."

She gave a little smirk. "Sorry to burst your bubble vigilante. Maybe next time." She then turned to Shiro. "As for you, you mess with my programming or anything again and you can forget about me helping you. Try that kind of thing again and I'll mess your cybernetics up so bad you won't be able to see someone standing 2 feet in front of you!" Her voice tone meant business. "Now gentlemen, if you'll excuse me, I have business to attend to. I'll find you when I have an answer to your request."
She pushed past Shadow Wolf and continued walking with Fox, keeping her senses sharp in case either one of them tried anything.

" Wait I just made some adjustment to make you better that was my trade now as promise please help me find the man who made your body I need his help " He turn to Wolf " Wolf huh the vigilante tell me what are you protecting have you seen how much decay this world has become the fey and norms can't interact peaceful yet if you consider yourself a hero Mr D.." he stop and didn't say his name " Just know your great grand father was a hero when we created the free will fey and the implants he had you in mind not to waste them in some kids fantasy but to show that fey and norms aren't so different " He disable the locks on his equipments " by the way the warning was from me that program needs a mayor upgrade if you don't want people like skyro here and me getting into it " He said as he look at Wolf " my sorry I lecture you is just when I see you I see what your great grand father had envision wasted" He said handing him foto of him and his great grand father.

" I know you have the best intentions in mind so I'll ask you too to help me if skyro helps me find this man I will be one step closer of achieving what your great grand father and me wanted peace between the fey and norms " He smiled but the got serious again " there is thinks that are happening under the table your rival company roboplex corp are planning something and the fault on the bodies the man who designed skyro's body will allow them to completely take control of the feys" He dial a couple of numbers on his wrist watch and projected a small video " this is a series of attacks by feys reprogram by roboplex, you see by causing panic they will cause norms to demand restriction on feys so when that happens roboplex will have under they disposal an army of androids with not free will" He said a little angry on his tone " I tell you this because I scan your records you are a good man and I know if you believe in the cause of making this world better like your great grand father did then youll help me and you too skyro I gave you emotions a free will and not going to let anyone rob you of it" He said smiling.

She turned back, slight anger beginning to cross her metallic features. How dare he accost me in such a way! She turned to him, ready to load a barrage of words on his head but saw his face drained as he gazed at a picture. "Hmph! Don't think you can just pull me into your 'noble' crusade. Far as I'm concerned it doesn't involve me one bit. You want to find me again, ask him to do it. He seems exceptionally gifted at finding me when I don't want to be found...right?"

She gave a flirtatious glare at Wolf before she disappeared around the corner. The next client would no doubt be at the rendezvous point by now and she never kept a client waiting.

She walked out of the alley leaving the two behind. Occasionally glanced back behind her to make sure she wasn't being tracked or followed. When she had arrived at the location of the meeting place, she was content knowing she was perfectly safe.
The client was already there.
"I'd have expected you to meet me here." She shrugged, her metallic body resounding through the room with every footstep. "I'm still early, did you think me less of a host?"
He scoffed and set the briefcase of the table. "Here it is...details of schematics to the general firewall and defense grid of the central hub network. Not easy to get this you know? I'm lucky that Shadow freak didn't catch me..."

She laughed this time. "You followed my instructions..that's why he didn't. Now what's the job and what do I have to do?" He smiled as he gazed at her.
"Break into Denkou company and access their master programming. Download everything you can on them and give it to us...then you'll have this."
Skryo glanced at the man, then at the briefcase. "Consider it done!"

Shiro continued to walk his expression changed there was a smirk. There was a beeping sound skyro was on the move again " He carefully listen to the converstation " then proceeded to contact wolf" Hey friend just letting you know one of you friends is about to get rob " He said with a small snickering laugh and then continued moving. The destination he had been looking for was here the building however was building those Android bodies. He turned on the gloves and began climbing the building through the outside. He was careful to remain on the dark so none would be alerted. " So this is the one who stole my design I guess is time I showed him my copyright " He said with as he arrived to the floor the man was located.
