A

A walked through the school hallways, looking around at the passing students. It was a Monday, 3:31 to be precise, and the bell had just rang, signalling the end of class, and school. Most students were rushing out of the school, or shuffling through their lockers, but there were still the few dawdling around, just like A.

The first week back at school had been insane. Most of the students remembered the horrible events at the Back-To-School Party, which included a girl being shoved into a lake, a house and car caught on fire, a wrecked truck, and the most unsuspecting couple telling the school of their secret relationship. All because of A. The stickers she had placed all over the school were long gone, too, and had been since last Friday. When the Principal had checked the security cameras, he was shocked to see the wires cut. That had been her doing, too.

She had started texting a few of them last week, but that was only a handful of them. The rest of the school had looked on as the events unfolded, some of them blissfully unaware that next week, they, too, would be blackmailed.

A slipped her phone out of her bag, and immediately began texting. It wasn't as if it woud be suspicious or anyone looking at her, she was hardly the only person in the hallay with their phone out.

To: All Contacts

Hiii ;) Enjoying our second week back, are we? Well, that won't last long. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't:
I know every single little detail about each and every one of you. And that includes your dirty little secret.
Or should I say secrets?
What's going to stop me from telling the whole school? Well, you are. I will set you a few... challenges to keep your secrets safe, and if you don't go along... there goes a secret. xxx - A

From: Unknown Number

(Hi guys! So, see how that says All Contacts at the top? Good. Basically, that means that, for example, if Madison replied, then everyone, not just A would get the text.
Eg;
To: All Contacts.
A: Hey ppls.
Madison: Hello?
Carter: Wait, who are you?
Madison: I'm Madison
Carter: I wasn't talking to you.
A: I'm A.

See how everyone got the text? Exactly! :D Also, I just picked those people at random. Thanks for being such good examples, guys!
Oh, and sorry if I blab on. I'm tired. -_-

PS: Sorry if I forgot to tag you. I'm forgetful.
PPS: Sorry for the super long OOC post IC.)

Madison rolled her eyes as she read the text message. 'A' was old news by now. She shoved her phone in her pocket as she went on rummaging through her locker. It had only been a week of school and it already looked like a bomb had exploded in there.

Cheer leading bag in hand, Madison headed for the locker room. The craziness of the previous week had been on her mind for days. She couldn't wait for 'A's next task. In a way, this game was almost fun. It was a little strange of course, but the challenges kept things exciting.

Madison pulled out her phone again as she walked to the gym.

To: 'A'
Message: What's on the schedule for today?

AMY LIGHT

Amy attempted to shove her books back into her locker, which had fallen out as soonas she had opened the locker door. She glanced down at her phone as it alerted her to a new messgae, expecting to see another text from her friend Alexis, but instead seeing the word Unknown plastered across the screen. Amy frowned but pressd the open button.

I will set you a few... challenges to keep your secrets safe, and if you don't go along... there goes a secret. xxx - A

Amy stared at the phone for a minute, shocked. No, it was just a joke... right? She gave an uneasy glance around at the passers by. Why had she gotten this, out of all the people in the hallway? Well, from the look of it, more than just her. But what did 'A' mean by Some of you already know me?

She tapped the reply button, and shakily typed in a response.

To: A (All Contacts)
Isn't blackmail illegal? Whaat's stopping us from going to the cops right now?

Her shaky hand had made her type in two A's in stead of one, but Amy onlynoticed after she pressed send. She took a deep breath and picked up a book that had fallen on the ground, slipping it into her locker before closing it with a clang. She couldn't dwell on it, it wasn't like A actually knew her secrets, that was impossible.

She had surprisingly little homework - at least, for a Monday. Monday was the worst day for her; She had French, Maths, English, History, CSPE and Art. Well, art didn't give that much homework, but the rest of the classes did. Especially History, as Miss Tuberty hated her class, and Amy had found that she hated Amy especially. Perhaps it was Amy's laid-back nature in History. She didn't see the point of it. Like, maths and english were useful subjects, but history - they were all dead anyway.

Beep.
Expecting another text from A, she ignored the text. She arrived at the school doors when she reached into her bag, She was too impatient.

It wasn't from A, it must have been someone else she had texted though.
What's on the schedule for today?

Did that mean that that person believed A? I sounded almost like she knew A... was that what A had meant in her text?

She was disrupted from her thoughts by the excited squeal of her friend Alexis. Amy looked up to see Alexis squeezing Amy's arm. "What?" Amy hissed, half annoyed, half joking. "Look!" Alexis whispered, pointing.AMy followed her hand to see what she was looking at.
"He's the new kid, I think I heard his name was Cory, or Cody, or somethig like that anyway," Alexis continued. "Isn't he cute?"
Amy rolled her eyes. "Yeah. But he is also too old for you."
Alexis shook her head. "Only a year older. Not much of a difference," she disagreed. Amy laughed and slipped her phone back into her bag.

What's on the schedule for today?

A smiled and started walking towards the school doors as she typed.

Not telling yet. You'll just have to wait an see. ;) - A

Just seconds after she pressed the send button, another text came through;

From: Amy
Isn't blackmail illegal? Whaat's stopping us from going to the cops right now?

At this A did actually laugh out loud. Quietly, of course, but a few people passing by gave her some weird looks. She ignored them though, and ithout looking up from the phone screen, opened the schools double doors out into the smell of freshly mowed grass as the last of summer faded away.

Yuss, blackmail is illegal. But I don't think you want to tell the cops, honey. I'm sure they would be very interested to know some of your secrets. If I'm going down, I'm taking you all down with me ;) xxx - A.

Ariel absolutely hated school, she hated having no one to talk to and feeling invisible. She made her way through the hallways at a snail pace, because nobody cared to move out of her way and just kept on idly chatting with their friends. After a while she started to get impatient so she got a bit more forceful, giving an occasional slight shove followed by an "excuse me". Finally, she reached her locker and she quickly opened it up and put away her books from her last class of the day, then took her bag off of it's hook. As she closed her locker, she hoisted her bag up onto her shoulder and turned walking out the door which was right nearby. She headed down the school steps and found a tree to sit under while she waited for her neighbor to find her, since they carpooled together. She took out her phone to pass the time, even though she rarely got texted. So of course she was surprised to see she had multiple messages waiting for her to view. She clicked on her inbox and selected the first message out of the bunch, all of which were from unknown numbers.
Hiii ;) Enjoying our second week back, are we? Well, that won't last long. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't:
I know every single little detail about each and every one of you. And that includes your dirty little secret.
Or should I say secrets?

Ariel's eyebrows knitted together in confusion as she tried to decipher this message. It had to be some sort of joke right? She had just gotten to this school and as far as she knew, nobody even knew her name, let alone her utmost personal and deep secrets. It couldn't be for real. But quickly a realization hit her, that maybe all those weird occurrences that she had seen so far at this school were connected to this... Suddenly interested, Ariel went through her other new texts which were in response to the last one.

What's on the schedule for today? one person had texted back to this mysterious 'A' figure as if this was all just an old drill.
Not telling yet. You'll just have to wait an see. ;) - A came the response from the same number that the original message was sent from.
Isn't blackmail illegal? Whaat's stopping us from going to the cops right now? It was a good point. This had been going on for the past couple weeks, maybe longer, and it was a big deal too, it definitely had to be illegal in some way. Curious to see how A would respond to that retort, she flipped to the next message.
Yuss, blackmail is illegal. But I don't think you want to tell the cops, honey. I'm sure they would be very interested to know some of your secrets. If I'm going down, I'm taking you all down with me ;) xxx - A. Ariel felt her palms get sweaty and her heart pounded as she thought about how ruined her life would be if the cops knew even half her business. She definitely didn't want them to know she was illegally buying drugs. She also didn't want them to hear about the way her neighbor had been assaulting her, even if it meant they could help her. Nobody could know.
But somehow this A person did. How did that even work? It was very possible that she was just SAYING that she knew all their secrets and then having a good laugh when she watched them run around frantically over nothing. Before she even read the last message she pressed reply and quickly punched in a response.
How can I be so sure you're not just toying around? For all I know, you may just be saying that you know everything to see what I'll do.
She sent the text before sliding her phone back into her jeans. She leaned back on her elbows and sighed, watching people socialize in the parking lot as she waited for her neighbor to get outside already.

Alex made his way down the hallway towards his locker. He has been here for a little over a year, and finally felt like he was being assimilated into the crowd. He weaved in and out between different groups of kids, hearing the laughter and the loud talking. When he finally got to his small locker at the end of the hall, he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Whats going on Sets?". Turning around, he noticed his "friend" Tyler standing there smiling away like usual. Like Alex, Tyler transferred in the year before and was on the hockey team also. Alex frowned at Tyler. "Your first day go well I guess?" Alex asked as he started to shove some books into the locker. "Hell no man. It's the women bro, the women. I had to spend summer at my Dad's place in some random town in the middle of nowhere." Alex considered Tyler one of his few "friends". He made sure though not to get to close to him though. The secrets he had always ate at Alex, and knew it would be awhile before it officially went away. "So who do you..." but in the middle of Tyler's question, Alex's phone went off, saying there was a text message. "Is that a girl? Aww hell no. My little Sets getting a girlfriend before me..." Tyler asked as he tried to reach for Alex's phone. Alex jumped back a second making sure Tyler couldn't steal it. "No, it's not ass. I'll meet you at practice. I wanted to speak to Professor Steiner about something" Tyler sighed and walked away as Alex looked down at his phone. He read the message:

iii ;) Enjoying our second week back, are we? Well, that won't last long. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't:
I know every single little detail about each and every one of you. And that includes your dirty little secret.

Alex stood in place of his locker reading the message. What kind of joke is this he thought. Secret? What se... Alex's hand trembled for a split second. It cant be.... Thinking for a few seconds, he laughed it off. "What a bunch of bull" he said in a low voice. He placed his phone back into his pocket, and grabbed his book's for the few things he had for homework and slammed his locker shut. After that, his phone started to ring and beep with a few of the contacts that the head message was sent to responded. Some replied for orders, while others threatened to call the police. Slowly, Alex started to feel like he was in some deep trouble. Alex looked around, to maybe see some of his "buddies" from the hockey team pulling a prank on him, but he only noticed a few familiar faces from his class, no one he would think had a grudge on him. As he started to mindlessly walk towards practice another message rang.

"How can I be so sure you're not just toying around? For all I know, you may just be saying that you know everything to see what I'll do." replied an unknown contact. Alex smiled. Exactly he thought. Alex decided to respond also. "I agree with whoever just said that. What a bunch of bull. How about saying you know my secret to my face?" Alex didnt really like sounding like a badass but he had to make sure this was just a prank. He fixed his backpack strap and made his way down the hallway to the rink.

(Holly shit you guys post a lot!!) (can someone talk to Carter??? She won't start the convo though because she's just that way)
Carter stared at the clcok watching the minutes tick by until class ended. Each second seemed like hours, maybe even days. Each word the teacher said she wasn't taking in, and couldn't pay attention for over 5 seconds. She just kept drawing the same thing over and over again in the first page of her notebook. She girl crying, over the course of the day she drew that girl about 10 times. She make sure to include each feature of her from the circles under her eyes to each freckle on her face. The person that Carter was drawing was Carter. Carter when she is away form everyone else. Carter at home in a conorner, maybe even with a blade to her wrist.

Finally the bell rang after the class period that lasted hours. Carter plulled down her long sleeve shirt to make sure it covered her wrists then picked up her books. After doing that she ran out of the class room, dodging some people. Once out of the class room she looked around at all the people. She felt uncomfortable and most likely looked like it took. She hated seeing everyone be so happy, laughing and having a good time when she is haunted by memories everyday of her life. It drove her crazy seeing everyone around her, she knew she had to get home, go to her room and make her marks in her skin.

She fast walked, or maybe it really was running to her locker. Her hands shook as she got out her back and slipped her books into it. After she had put her bag over her sholder she just stared at her locker. She put her hand on the door and the coolness reminded her that she was still on earth. That she was stilll okay. It was taking all she had not to have a break-down in the middle of the hallway in school.

She sighed then shut her door and turned to face everyone in the hall. There talking had now became to much for her, and right before she was about to run to the door her phone beeped.

Hiii ;) Enjoying our second week back, are we? Well, that won't last long. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't:

"Who the hell," Carter wispered as she looked around the hallway. There where a lot of people texting and looking at there phones it could have been anyone. She all of a sudden felkt hot, very hot. She took a few deep breathes then though to herself, this is just some trick. It clamed her a little and enough to text back:
Who the hell are you? You don't scare me.

She looked around to see if anyones phone beeped. Several people's phone did beep. It was to much being in there so Carter started making her way to the door. Then she looked at some more of her texts from people she didn't know texting A back.

Aether had no reason to believe this was all a joke. Though he wasn't afraid of someone (much less a person to be trifled with), Aether knew that things would eventually catch up to him. Life seemed to be going good for him for quite awhile. His uncle gave him his old black chevy pick up, restored and everything. His mom had gotten promoted. His baby brother was earning more and more good reputation at the parish, Sts. Sergius and Baachus's. Aether guessed all of that changed last year when, at "Leadership Camp", his bunkmate gave him oral. Intense guilt flooded him ever since. And confusion.

Aether's black pick up swooned into the Makenzie Prep parking lot. Parking it, he almost hated himself. Why couldn't he have gotten stuck in traffic? Why couldn't he have just two more minutes to relish this last song, "Funny How Time Slips Away" by Willie Nelson? Ah fuck it, might as well just light up and listen. Grabbing an unfinished cigar from the ashtray, he lit up and began puffing. Nobody gave a damn if he smoked. Even when it was reefer, nobody gave a damn. Not the cops, not the teachers, not the parents. Story of his life. Out in the middle of daylight and he was still in the shadows.

"I've got history and writing today?" He asked himself, pulling down his visor and checking his schedule.

"Dammit, math and science!" Aether had an almost good enough mind to high tail it out of Dodge, but he wasn't gonna. He went to school and stayed to school to get out someday.

"Least I got art at the end of the day..."

Just then, Aether's phone buzzed in his black jean pocket. Another gift from his uncle. Pulling it out, he took one last drag on the cigar and put it out for later.

Hiii ;) Enjoying our second week back, are we? Well, that won't last long. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't:

Followed by a myriad of other texts, probably from different people.

The last one was interesting...

Who the hell are you? You don't scare me.

Must be a girl. Only girls proclaim they aren't scared. Men just punch you or go home crying to their moms.

Aether took a long, warm sip of coffee before adding his two-cents in.

Just shut up and tell us what the hell you want.

He slid his phone down his right front pocket, grabbed his coffee, shut the truck door and kep' walking towards the school entrance. With each step, a loud clang of his spurs announced his arrival, yet still no one cared.

Aether had special privilege to use the janitor entrance (on account of his father being a fallen comrade of the chief janitor, Mr. Peabody). He snuck through the dumpsters and in through the unlocked door into the janitor "closet".

He waved a good morning to Peabody, and surged his way through to the hallway, picking up one of the doughnuts on the janitors' desk on his way.

As he walked out into the hallway, he heard Peabody yell, "You're late by at least an hour."

"Really?!" Aether yelled back.

"Yeah, bucko!"

"Sweet! Missed math."

"You never grow up, do you?" Peabody asked, laughing thunderously.

Annabell sat on the bench outdoors, taking pictures of the roses that were wilting. It seemed creepy to others, but the wilting roses, turned black and white or sepia, looked like living roses. Her phone rang off her text rigntone for A. Oh great! Just what my day needed! She opened her phone and read the text:

Hiii ;) Enjoying our second week back, are we? Well, that won't last long. Some of you already know me, but for those who don't:

Her reply could wait. She grabbed her stuff and heade to the computer lab. The yearbook staff worked on photos there, so the software for photo editing was amazing. Once in the lab, she replied to A.

Listen up. I'm not going to be yanked around like a puppet. Tell me what you want or fuck off.

Annabell wasn't having a good day and that text had made it worse. She was dying to see what A had in store today.

A grinned as a flood of texts came through. She opened them as she walked, turning the corner away from the school.

From: Ariel
How can I be so sure you're not just toying around? For all I know, you may just be saying that you know everything to see what I'll do.

From: Alexander
I agree with whoever just said that. What a bunch of bull. How about saying you know my secret to my face?

A replied almost instantly, turning another corner as she did so.
I can't say I know your secrets to your face, now can I? Then you would know who I am,and that would spoil half the fun! And you're right, I might be 'toying around,' but are you willing to take that risk? xxx - A

From: Carter
Who the hell are you? You don't scare me.
She had just arrived at her house as this text came through. She slipped open the door.
Never said I did, honey. ;) - A

She remembered something she had to do, and threw her school bag in the house before closing the door.

From: Aether
Just shut up and tell us what the hell you want

A smiled. Wow, they replied fast.

Tut, tut, tut. Shouldn't get me angry, trust, it's a bad idea. xxx - A

From: Annabell
Listen up. I'm not going to be yanked around like a puppet. Tell me what you want or fuck off

A glanced around at the passersby. None of them seemed to notice her.

Oh, Bells, calm down xxx We don't want you getting depressed now do we? ;) - A

To the others, that would most likely sound like a badly worded text, but she assumed Annabell would get it's double meaning.

The last text A got made her chuckle under her breath.
From: Adrianna
Hi A its me, so I need a favor. I need you to help me make blabbermouth zach shut up. I'll do whatever you want in return.

A didn't even bother replying, she had just arrived at her destination. She slipped her phone in her pocket, and lookedup at the tall building. Glancing around at the nearby people, she made her way around to the back of the building, where she began to scale the pipe. Alot of effort, maybe, but as far as A was concerned, it was kind of fun. She had always loved climbing, even if this was especially difficult. Besides, there was no way she was letting this 'victim' get away.

In the perspiration of one of the windows -- I think it's called that -- she wrote:

I know what you did. Watch Your Back. - A

She slipped down the pipe, admiring the message from below, on the kitchen window of the 'victim,' before strolling around to the front of the building. At least she did't have to worry about the girl catching her, she was aware that she was heading to the library. Even if she cameback now, she still wouldn't have spotted A, as she was already at her front door.

The message was to Asajj Uzun.

AMY LIGHT

Amy gave a smile to the formidable looking girl as she passed. Her phone beeped alot of tims, too many to keep count, alerting her that she had new messages. Alexis raised an eyebrow. "Someone's popular," she commented, giving Amy a cheeky grin. AMy laughed. "No it's not like-"
"Like what? Anyway, should I go over and talk to him?"
"To wh-"
"Y'know, Cody. He's new, he might want some help and stuff."
Amy glanced over at the new boy, and rolled her eyes. "That group of cheerleaders already has it covered," she said with a grin.
Alexis sighed. "How am I supposed to compete with them? And where is Emmalina?" The three girls were practically royalty in Makenzie Prep, and everyone knew they were inseperable.

Amy shrugged. "Who cares? I just wanna' get home, and eat," she replied, tugging on Alexis's arm. Alexis laughed but followed her out, but not before saying, "Of course you want to eat something." Amy frowned. "What does that mean?" she asked, trying to keep the hurt from her voice. Alexis noticed her friends worried expression, and rolled her eyes. "It was a joke! Relax, you're as skinny as a stick!" she grinned, this time the one pulling her friend along. "C'mon!"

Amy followed, but couldn't shake the feeling that her friend thought she was fat. She glanced down at her body. Was she? No...

Getting up two hours late,Emmalina walks up with a pain in her right eye. She groaned remember the fight she got in yesterday with her older adopted sister. She got out of bed and rans to her small closet, she slipped off her pajamas and put on her new outfit she set out the night before. She grabbed her make-up bag, knowing she would have to hide the black eye she was given. After a few minutes of fixing her make up hair. She checks outside her door not hearing a sound, they all mus have left. She grabbed the keys to her motorcycle and ran outside. She slipped on her black helmet before pulling away.

A few minutes later, she pulls in to the parking lot and into the spot next to all her friends. "Great,i'm late." She grabbed the keys to her bike before running inside. Once she got inside her phone started to viberate, with an unknown number. Reading the text, she swallowed the knot in her throat praying it was a joke. She pushed the reply button .

Message:
I don't know who the Hell you are what games you want to play but I swear if you tell anyone, any of my secerts I will kill you. But,what is on the menu this time?

She put her phone away and ran to her room, she smiled seeing a few of her friends. She exhaled knowing she just made it. "Hey mads, sorry i'm late. So where's Adriana?" She looked around for her friend but looked back at Madison. In the back of her mind she kept thinking about that text knowing it was just bullshit, well she hoped it was.

Ariel felt like she had been waiting for her neighbor for an hour, but when she took out her phone to check the time, she saw it had only been about half that. Still, that was a long time to be sitting, doing nothing, having no one to talk to... It reminded Ariel of just how alone and out of place she was at this school, a total outcast. Getting impatient, she texted her neighbour: "Get your ass out here! What the hell have you been doing half an hour past the bell?" she hit send without hesitation, then rested against the tree and set her phone on her stomach. Pretty quick, her phone started vibrating again. Ariel went to view the text, seeing that it wasn't from her neighbour, but from another unknown number, probably related to this whole 'A' nonsense.
I agree with whoever just said that. What a bunch of bull. How about saying you know my secret to my face?
Huh, it seemed like that text had been in response to hers. Ariel found it kind of funny how someone who probably would never recognize or acknowledge her was now siding with her over a mass text.
Setting her phone down again, she rested her head back on the tree trunk, feeling the hot sun beat down on her. She decided she could kill some time by watching the clouds go by, that was always somewhat interesting...
A few moments later though, her phone went off. Opening the text, she was it came from her cousin:
Uh, I'm socializing, you know, actually having a social life? You understand that, right? Or is this some foreign concept to you?
Ariel scowled and muttered to herself, "God I hate him..." Really, the guy was ridiculous, thinking it was okay to take advantage of her but yet be so rude and arrogant. Ariel NEEDED to get her drivers license, and soon. She hated having to rely on that sleazebag for rides.
Fine then, don't worry about me, I'll just do what I want as well, and that definitely isnt driving with you. I'd rather walk home later. Ariel knew it'd take a good hour, at the very least, to walk home, but she didn't care, she was so pissed at her neighbour for the moment, the last thing she wanted was to be around him. She got up to her feet, lifting her bag up onto her shoulders, and headed back into the school, deciding to hang out in the library for a while and do some homework.

Just as Carter was walking out of the school doors someone stopped her, “CARTER WAIT UP!” She turned around to see Hannah a girl from her art class they weren’t best friends of anything but they were both friendless so they hung out a bit.

Hannah has dark brown hair that is curly and chin length; she also has big brown eyes. Hannah is the shortest person Carter had ever met that is over 13, she was shorter then Carter and Carter was 5’2. I’m guessing she was about 4’9 maybe 5’o feet tall. Hannah was very pretty but at times looks a bit insane. Her hair is usually messy and she wears the strangest of clothes.

“Yes,” Carter asks. “Well I was wondering if you wanted to get some coffee,” she asks. Carter nodded but doesn’t look her in the eyes, her thoughts where on A who she was. Just as Carter was thinking about A her phone beeped, which made Carter jump, “holly shit,” she muttered.

Never said I did, honey. ;) – A

Without even thinking Carter responded.

You’re not answering my question. Do you remember what it is? Well here I’ll repeat it: WHO THE HELL ARE YOU BITCH! Do you understand what it means? Well then answer the damn question.

“Well you look pissed did your boyfriend dump you or something,” Hannah asked. Carter looked up surprised, Hannah was staring at her and she didn’t even notice. She could feel her cheeks getting warm with embarrassment, she didn’t realize that anyone watching would think she was crazy. “I.. I didn’t think anyone was watching. No it wasn’t my boyfriend it was a crazy stalker guy, he’s a creep,” Carter lied. She had always been such a good liar and she was lucky she was a good one.

Hannah just nodded then said, “want to go to the school library it’s open till 5 maybe we could get some homework done? Or maybe there will be some cute nerds.” I rolled my eyes, Hannah like every guy she saw it was pathetic, then I said, “Okay lets go.” Hannah let out a little squeal then grabbed Carters wrist. She jerked it away, Hannah grabbed one of her cuts. “Sorry,” Carter mumbled.

When they got to the library there where several other people in their studying and doing homework. Carter and Hannah sat in the back of the room, right by the bookshelves. Right when they sat down Hannah started texting while Carter got her books out on the table.

Not paying attention to anything, Chris walked into school, late again. After arriving earlier, he had went back home for study hall. His phone was in his pocket, and the second it vibrated, he flinched. He knew who it was before he checked it, but that didn't make reading it any easier. Reading it quickly, he typed out a simple reply.

To: A
So, what's this week's challenge?
From:Chris

He had just finished typing when he thought of a second person he needed to text, and he pulled his phone back out.

To:Madison
Hey. Meet me during lunch?
From:Chris

He walked to his locker, opening it easily because it was rigged, and dumped his bag inside, waiting for a reply.

Annabell's phone rang again. Her reply would have to wait. She packed up her stuff and headed to the computer lab. The yearbook staff used the lab to make the books, so the software on them was amazing. And free. She sat her stuff down and pulled out her phone. Her blood ran cold when she read the text.

Oh, Bells, calm down xxx We don't want you getting depressed now do we? ;) - A

She does know my secrets. She worded her reply carefully, trying not to piss A off.

I'm just as desperate to keep my secrets as the next person. Tell me what to do. I won't let you down.

Ade pulled out her cell phone and read the text message from 'A'. Her eyes got big but she tried to hide it. She smiled "I have it down to four." Then she pulled up her images. "Here's the first one." She flipped to the next one "Heres the second." She flipped through the next ones "heres the third, and fourth."
She turned to her friends again "Which one do you like better?" Then she glanced at Chris. Biting her lip she sent a text.

Finally, I can leave this hellhole of an office, Liu thought to himself as he pushed open the doors of the main office. He had just spent what had seemed the entire day in the Principal's office, being chastised by half of the administration for cutting school for for the past three school days. His outfit, consisting of a snap-button button-up over a red under armour, complete with black jeans, was casual, at least to him, since he didn't care much about what the school's "uniform policy", even with it being lenient as it is. He had his favorite denim jacket over his shoulder, and he was one of the few students who didn't have to worry about a backpack.

They couldn't do much to Liu, not only was he one of the few Asian-Americans within the school, he was able to shut down the school servers or at least slow them down with porn and spam. It was his personal blackmail. Not difficult when the administrator password for the computer network was "Hotdogs", after all. The sad part was he was only American in the sense that he passed the citizenship test with flying colors.

Earlier that day, normally the teachers wouldn't have had reported him for his absences, since he had always aced his tests, no matter if they were pop quizzes or major chapter tests. He never did his homework, but the teachers gave him slack on the subject for keeping A+ grades. But today was different. He had been caught by the principal while skipping school. Second week in, and already been caught cutting class. But Liu didn't care in the least bit.

His smartphone buzzed in his pocket. It had buzzed multiple times in his pocket, but everybody should know it's a bad idea to pull out a phone in front of the principal during school hours. A very bad idea, indeed. With that in mind, he decided to see what was so important...

5 Missed Messages

The first four from his teachers, each warning that the Principal was leaving the school, and not to be caught. The last one was from an unknown number. Liu decided to read the last message later, returning the phone back to his pocket. Today was also his day off, hopefully, seeing that he would have been late to his job if it weren't.

He was brain-dead from listening to the faculty blab on about why school was important to him. Walking to the library, which was only a short walk from the main office. Five, maybe ten minutes at the absolute most. Pulling out and plugging a set of headphones to his phone, Liu made the choice to listen to one of his playlists. Each playlist he made on his phone was named with the same format, Year-Month-Day. This particular one was created during the summer.

Maximum The Hormone - Koi No Mega Lover

Walking into the library, earplugs in his ears and the volume lowered, but loud enough to drain out the majority of sounds, he pushed the door open, making as little noise as possible. Looking for an unoccupied table away from everybody else, he had walked past a table with two seemingly attractive girls sitting. Through the corner of his eye, he couldn't observe what they were doing exactly, though he didn't put much idea into ether. The librarian looked in his general direction, and as if on cue, Liu flipped her the middle finger as he went on his way to his table. The librarian went on with her business, generally because she knew that was usually how the newly turned adult greeted the staff. With Liu reaching his destination, he tossed his jacket onto the table as he grabbed the chair and sat down, the jacket now sprawled out across the table.

His plan was to take a short nap, perhaps a hour or so, before heading home. But before he would do that, he would have to figure out who this contact number was from. Reading it, he let out a quick sigh before pressing the reply button.

TO: UNKNOWN NUMBER
MESSAGE: Who are you, and what you want?

Leaning back and waiting for the reply back, he placed the phone in his shirt pocket, before lowering his chin and taking his much deserved nap.

I want...hmm, I suppose I would like you to tell someone about your whole 'violin' secret. You choose who. ;) Or I could tell the world any number of things - That you've never had your first kiss, or you and your family are part of a Triad. Oh, and the person you tell has to attend the school. Tell one person about your violin secret, or everyone about one of your more...drastic secrets. xxx - A

Seeing one of her closest friends faint, she was completely speechless which didn't happen easly. She was about to call 911 but before she got the chance,Ade already did. She watched as a few of the football players came over. "Give her some room people,God." The people moved a little farther away, knowing she was joking. She watched as Cody and Chris ran up. "Did something happened before she passed out, or did she just fall?" She was still utterly speechless, she cleared he throat and spoke after Ade. "I think she just fell but I looked away when she did." She felt so useless and she hated that. She watched as Cody hugged ade to comfort her,she smiled seeing that both of her best friends had someone to help them. Unlike Adriana,Lina kept a level head and just tried to relax to team.

As they took her away, she looked towards the team. She was good at getting them back focused. She looked towards the others before clearing her throat. "Ok guys, she's going to be fine. I know it so lets just hope for the best and take a few minutes to collect outselfs, alright?" She watched as they nodded and started to go in their little groups. She exhaled deeply and looked at a few of the people still around her like Ade,Cody, and Chris. She smiled and put her armn around Adriana before speaking. "Ade,she'll be fine. Alright, don't even worry about it. We'll go see her after pratice,ok?" she smiled at her friend before letting go of her. Excuse me for a minute guys. She waved before walking away from them. she took out her sleek red phone and started to type a text.

Ade admired how strong Lina was. She on the other hand was crying like a baby. She was happy cody was there to comfort her. Once he let go she whispered "Thank you."
Before Lina hugged her. "Shouldn't we meet her at the hospital," She turned to her friends, " I drove my dads range rover so it fits all of us. "She was glad she brought her dads car instead of her own tiny convertible.
Ade felt her phone buzz and looked down. Only to see a message from 'A'.

Sipping his coffee, Aether gazed through his blackened aviators, something he wore to hide his eyes, across the cafeteria. Through the moonlit venue there was silence only. Around the tables, silence only. Up on stage, silence only. Against the kitchen gates, silence only.
If you asked Aether exactly why he was in the school cafeteria at one o’clock in the morning (or night, whichever you prefer), you would probably get more answers from a marble statue. Perhaps he was standing, waiting for a train. Maybe he was waiting for Jesus to come down from on high and vanquish all the little demons that crept and grabbed at his heart. His mother would say, “Nah, he just wants to be alone with his coffee.” But, nonetheless, all we could know was that he was drinking coffee and holding his black phone.

Turning it on, Aether’s pocket vibrated. From “A” and all his would be fellow victims. Aether ignored it all. Skipped them all. Scoffed at them all.
How could he be so indignant with her earlier? Irresponsible.

He decides to play a song from his phone...
