Kumori let out another snarl at her words, his ears pinning back against his head and his fur bristling. There was on anything he hated to be called and that was a
pet. When he was a lesser demon under the direct rule of Satan, Kumori had killed countless demons for attempting to demean him with that word....even though, looking back, he had been like a stupid dog to his master.
He took a step towards the Angel, his muscles taunt and ready to attack when he slipped. He
never slipped and prided himself on his gracefulness. But, his body was becoming heavy and he could feel the fox fire simmering down to a low blue glow. He looked back at his white fur, the blue streaks that shimmered through it all but gone. It must be an Angel trick, some horrible deception brought on by that vile flying chicken.
He turned to let out a snarl at her, when she was suddenly on him. Her wings encompassed his vision, blocking his sight in a billow and feathers and white. He let out a yelp as she grabbed his tail and swung him into the forest. He slammed into two trees, his massive body at the strength of her form causing him to crash through the branches until he finally was able to right himself. He swing his body around in mid flight, gracefully landing with all four paws against a the trunk of a large fir tree. Kumori jumped, landing on the pine needles below, his fur bristled and dirty.
"Bow to the Lord almighty and he may be kind enough to grant you mercy, filthy demon!!" The fox turned his angry gaze to the Angel, who hovered just in sight back in the small clearing they had been in. His pupils shrunk, his body howled with rage at her treatment of him. Filthy demon? He was a KING!
Fox Fire burst from his paws and leaked from his mouth, almost as if there was too much inside him for his body to hold onto. His white fur and eyes glowed a light blue, shining like a beacon in the dark of the forest. The noise that came from his maw this time sounded more like a dragon then a fox, ripping through his throat with pure anger.
But, just as he was about to leap at her, a presence made himself known up above.
"Wow I didn't think you were this anxious for a fight, you do realize that you aren't truly outfitted to fight a demon of this rank right? Kumori, It's been years hasn't it? You aren't slipping in your old age are you? Although I am probably not much better. By the way, how is Lucifer doing? Is he still residing in hell like he should be?"Kumori looked up at the other Angel, blinking. The Fox Fire simmered down a bit, turning into a weak crackle at his paws. Andrue? So it was true, the Angels had moved to Earth....not just this one female. Kumori frowned up at the male Angel, raising an ear to him, "He goes by Satan now, but thats as much as I know. And no, Im still as young as ever" He purred out, taking a few steps closer to the two Angels. Lucky for them, Kumori was great at controlling his anger. He did not hold grudges and if they could control themselves well..Kumori truly had no interest in killing these creature. Sure he was interested in the taste of their wings, but out of spit he was going to avoid them, just to piss Satan off (and maybe get a little attention, though he would never admit that).
While he was a King, he knew his limits. The female was powerful and Kumori had been prepared to fight her one on one. But two Angel, and Andrue for that matter...no, a fox knew when it was not his fight to pick. He watched the Angel summon his weapons and wavered, his ears pricked forward and tail swaying in interest. In a shimmer of blue fox fire, Kumori burned away his true form and revealed himself as a human, fox ears and tail still present. He flicked out his fan, taking a step into the clearing and looking up at the two Angels.
"May I ask a question before I depart, as it seems like I am a bit outnumbered at the moment? If the Angels have returned to rid the world of tis so called 'evil', what will your purpose be afterwards? You two-", He pointed his fan at the two angels, smirking up at them, "Will become useless tools to your master and will be cast aside, all for the sake of these human you pretend to cherish so much" He stared up at them, daring either to deny his words, "Humans can not live in peace, it is not in there nature".
