Introduction
Everything had gone good until the crew of the Sinister used a highly classified torpedo, a Halo Torpedo. When the explosion of the weapon came in contact with the unknown vessel’s reactor core, everything went horribly wrong. A wormhole was created, and sucked in the Sinister and what was left of the other vessel. The two vessels were taken across the universe to uncharted territory. Once out of the wormhole, the shields on the Sinister were heavily damaged, and the ship had to react quickly to avoid a comet heading right for them. They missed the large rock, but they could not avoid it’s tail. Small debris quickly ripped through parts of the Sinister’s hull, and damaged their reactor core. The nearby planet’s gravity quickly grabbed a hold of both ships and caused them to crash land.
All but one member of the Sinister’s crew survived the crash, and only one member of the crew knew exactly what ship they had to destroy. The unknown vessel had sent out a distress beacon. Now the Guardians of the Sinister had to make a hard decision: Track down and disable the beacon to protect the planet from an invasion, or stand to the side to avoid getting involved with the bipedal race on the planet. Which of the two decisions will they make? Will the crew ever return home? Or better question, will the crew of the Sinister be able to survive?
The UGV Sinister. A crew of 11 Guardians and 30 Machines (Robots).

Trip quickly gasped for air when his memory of the shot came back. He slowly looked around and caught his breath, looking at the tremendous damage done to their vessel. He was lucky to be alive, but who else was. Trip slowly stood up, pulling a piece of shard from the viewing screen, out from his leg. He limped around the ship checking on the rest of the crew. Once he got to the engineering department, he climbed through the rubble. "Stella? You there Stella?" Trip called out, having trouble getting through the rubble. His first and foremost responsibility was to ensure that their reactor core was contained and was not going to go critical.

Her slitted eyes flew open, as she simultaneously spewed blood from her mouth. She tried to glop air, but each breath racked her body with pain. A low grown left her lips, as she push against the cabinet that had fell on her. Hearing Trip’s call she took another shallow breath before grunting her responds, “I’m over here.” She was glad, to hear his voice, at least someone else made it, she thought quickly. She pushed the thought of the rest of the crew to back of her mind. The condition of Mr. Sinister and the Core had to be her primary concern. From her squatted position she tried to visually survey the room, but Echoing told her what her eyes couldn’t focus long enough to see, Mr. Sinister had suffer extensive damage. She could feel the low vibration of the ship, which meant the Core was still operational, good, but judging by the choppiness she was feeling, what condition and for how long it would work was another question altogether. Standing up slowly, turning to face the directions of Trip’s voice. Stella’s voice barely just above whisper, dripping with concern she turn catching Trip square in the eyes…….“We need to get to the Core Room, NOW!”

"Only 14 bots are operational. I'm setting them to repair any damage the ship has taken, starting with the hull." Trip said, ignoring the sparks flying from over worked, and over heated circuits. Once he was done at the station, he went to join Stella in the core room. Their main concern was to contain and if needed, shut down the core. From what he has seen from the bridge to engineering, the ship has taken heavy damage, much more damage than he had expected. Whether or not the Sinister would fly again, Trip didn't know, but he did know that the bots would continuously work until it's repaired.

The Core stood the height of the ship. When most effective it worked as one unit. However each section could work independently. It appeared that most of the systems here were still up and running. Stella rushed to the main frame, her hand gliding across the controls. The preliminary scan showed extensive damage, “cura deum tenebris (Dark God Care)” Stella whisper to herself looking at the damage. The upper and lower core were in alarm. Only the middle core seemed to still be working, however the coupling were badly damaged. Trip had set the remaining bots to repair the outer hull first. “Good,” she called “the sooner we stop venting atmosphere the better.”” Her eyes never left her work as Trip entered the Core room. “Trip, I need you to kill the power to the lower core, its damaged beyond repair but still trying to operate. Vent the room too, the heat from coils are reaching critical.” She had just vented the middle core and completed a work around on its broken couplings. It wasn’t a permanent fix but it brought them time. “Cura deum(Dark God)” she cursed. Slamming her hands down on the control panel. “I can’t access the Upper Core from here, we have to get up there quick or in 15 minutes, its super ipsum (game over).”

"Stella, the power is shut off, and radiation doors are closed. The lower core is shutting down." Trip said as he slid down the wall to catch his breath. The heat in the core room was high, and radiation as well. He reached up above him and grabbed the med pack and pulled out the laser sealer, a small device that could close open wounds and lifted up his shirt. He had to do something about the gash on his side, it was starting to bother him more than anything. He slowly began to seal the gash. Ever since Trip was 8, he's been able to withstand a lot more pain than normally, and that was due to what happened on his planet. After sealing the would, Trip gave himself a shot that would counteract the radiation exposure. "Stella, hows things going on your side?' Trip asked as he sat there for a few to relax.

The upper core was at critical and without knowing their whereabouts dumping the core was out of the question. The room had to be vented and fast. Stella could see clearly into the dark room, the main turbines was blocked, also the computer consoles was crushed that’s why should couldn't access them from main engineering room. Stella hard wire all the controls sending them to the main control room. The easy part was over… taking a deep breath Stella went into the core room. Her thick flesh began to scream at the intense heat, blister began to from on her arms and face. Stella had to push and pull heaps of broken core pieces out of her way, hands in agony from the heat of objects she moved. Once she made it to the turbine she wedged a piece metal piling under the ceiling joist that as blocking the cooling vent’s fan. Used it as a fulcrum she used her back to help lift and move the joist out of the way. The fan slowly began to move. She had seconds to get out of there before the fan reached full speed. Relief washed over her as she rushed to the door, the core was stable for the moment. So caught up in thought, she hit her already injured side. Stella cursed in agony, “Cura deum(Dark God)!” she made it to the door just in time to hear Trip’s question, "Stella, hows things going on your side?" She never heard the “Help" fall from her lips as, she fell face first to the floor.

"El stay with me!' Trip said softly as he pulled the med kit apart until he found the pain reducers. He pressed it against El's neck and injected it into her blood. Hopefully it would ease the pain just enough to get her down to the healing chamber in the med bay. Trip wrapped one of Stella's arms around him, and slowly picked her up. He didn't know what condition the med bay was, but hopefully it didn't sustain too much damage. He slowly dragged Stella down to the med bay, to get her treated for her injuries, which he expected to be worse then his.

Stella took another deep breath as she turned, walking over to the console, her finger absently calling for status reports. She could ask the computer for the status of the other, but she didn’t want to hear cold, matter of fact responds that would follow. So breathlessly she inquired, “Are we the only survivors?” Lowering her head slightly praying for her shipmates. “I saw a lot of blood Trip…A lot.” She turned her head catching Trips eyes, searching his face for the truth of his response.

“Computer, I need planetary readings, and start a short range scan of this solar system, we need some idea where we are. Also let’s bring up the outside cameras. If this planet has any life we need to know, what we are up against.” The scan would take some time, however what was left the external cameras can online immediately, looking up at the screen, a whistle left Stella’s lips, they were from the looks of it surrounded, activity everywhere. This planet was inhabited, and hostile from the looks of it. “I think getting to that beacon is going to be tougher then we thought.”

Once his stuff was set to the side, Trip started walking down to his quarters. He wasn't sure how bad the radiation and sun was on this planet and wasn't going to take any chances. Once he pried open the door, Trip climbed through and began looking for his contacts. While in his search, he found a photo of Laya, and all of his parents' notes from their archeaology digs. It didn't take too long for Trip to find his contacts and put them in his eyes. The contacts caused his eyes to trun from their normal violet color to being green. They were specifically designed to protect the sensitive eyes of Crystallians, like his.

Her eyes scan across her friend as he secured the last of his items, and headed towards the door. “I’m not worried, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned." Eyes looking down at the white floors "We are Dark Gods know where, surrounded and this is a level three, uncharted planet. You know what that means? We have to disable our home beacon, as well. We’re alone out here Trip…. Our training doesn't leave room for worry, but I am really, really concerned.” Stella turn back to the console, her request barely above a whisper, “Computer disable the homing beacon.” Running her hands across the computer console lovingly, she made her way over to the remaining supplies, gather them together. “Computer how many life forms on board?” 4… Tears ran down Stella's face as she left sick bay reciting the Deinococcus Radiodurandian death rites fir her lost comrades.

"El, how many inhabitants do we have sitting around the ship? Not to mention you need to get your stuff together. Make sure you have your armor and rifle. We don't know what to expect on this planet." Trip said, but with a voice that sounded a bit more like ordering. He stopped for a moment and thought. " Computer, This is Major 2nd Class Keenan Lit'ra, override code DTR0271Z. Shut down all systems, lock everything down in exactly two hours. Recall all bots to their hanger. Do not accept any other authorization code but mine for anything further." Trip ordered the ship. With the captain out, and first officer as well, it had come down to Trip taking charge, and he wasn't going to allow anyone access to their ship or computers, there was no way he'd allow it. Trip looked over at Stella, he felt her pain but there was more important matters. "Stella, there'll be time later for mourning, right now we have to protect this planet, especially since we'll be on it for a while." Trip said, kind of sounding cold, but in times like these, that was the way he was.

Trip was calling out to Stella as she stepped back into the Med Bay. She fixed him with a perplexed stare, at his commanding tone. Allowing her pack, complete with armor and rifle to slide to the floor, she finished reciting the death rites. -Shaking her head she said, “Guardian, you seriously underestimated my ability to multitask.” She leaning over attacking a dampener to her pack. Their armor was relatively light but the extra lift would help, they would need all their speed and stealth to get off Sinister alive. Stella tossed a dampener to Trip, “This will help a little. It’s my personal design.” Moving towards the console, she stopped short, annoyed as Trip continued to bark orders. Stella struggled to reign her temper in. He was still hurt and in full savoir mode, getting angry wouldn’t help matters, they had job to do. However at Trip’s last command, her eyes flared. With quiet fiery, her words were low and direct, “Never presume to order me ever again, I took the oath and know my duty well. Our fellow guardians deserved those rushed rites and more. Being surround as we are, there is no guarantee we’ll have a later.” That was the truth, these being still greatly out numbered them, no matter how primitive. “Now.... there are approximately 200 inhabitants out there and it can be assumed more are coming. We aren’t completely surrounded, yet, at last inspection, there are gaps in their perimeter.” -Sliding her hand over her blade handle, thinking “There’s no way we're getting off this ship completely unnoticed. Maybe If we keep to the shadows and stay low in the trench carved by Sinister, we could take out a few guards and make our escape?"

Trip grabbed his staff weapon and headed towards the torpedo room. There was a lot on his mind at the moment. He stopped at the lower torpedo tube and opened it up. He took a few deep breathes before continuing on in the tube. It took a few minutes before he got to the end and pried open the door. he peeked out to make sure it was all clear and then slipped out. Trip slowly moved towards teh air lock, keeping close to the ship and shadows. He knocked out the guards that posed a threat to him.

She was checking her communicator, when Trip said he would go out first. “Fine. Take the guards clothes too. We can get them to stop without much effort. I’ll sneak up, from behind and we can take them out quickly and get out of here. ” As Trip climbed out the torpedo tub, she shouldered her pack and shut down the lights in the bay. Moving to the airlock, she grabbed the extra packs and waited on Trip’s all clear.

"Did you figure out how to work one of these?" Trip asked as he climbed into the passenger seat of the Humvee. He pulled out his tablet like device and looked at the terrain they would have to cross to get to the other vessel. He only wished they were able to get a birds eye view of the site, to see how many inhabitants as well as Nevallians had survived the crash.

“I almost got it... one second.”she said. -A quick test of the pedals, stirring wheel, and the gears, she had the basic concept. Turning the wheel to the path with that was the clearest, she floor it, watching Sinister get smaller and smaller in the rear view. At present they were headed east away from there crash site. They couldn't keep this vehicle long, they would need to change soon. -Glancing at Trip working on his tablet, she could tell he was trying to figure out their next move. “Trip, I downloaded the last scans of the planet from Sinister. They aren’t complete but they may give us something to go on.

Trip propped his feet up on the dash and leaned back. He started to relax some. His body was still healing from the injuries. It was going to take a few days to a week or two until he's fully healed. "Keep going until dawn and then we'll find a place to stop. You alright with driving for a while or should i take over?" Trip asked his fellow Guardian.

Dawn in Sweetwater...
It had been a thriving town… Once. It was a relic now. A place on the North American map that time forget. Stella didn’t know any of this as she watched the few early rising inhabitants. They were very similar in looks to them, their eyes being the biggest outward difference. People watching, however wasn’t why she was there. Need drove her. They needed a place to hide. The night had been anything but uneventful. Stella had spotted 3 low fly aircraft searching for them. It had been easy to avoid them with her night vision but It would be impossible to hide in the hot light of day. The abandoned shed she found only 2 minutes into town was perfect, at least for the moment. Glancing down at her translator, she sighed. It had yet to pick up any known language. Frustrated she shoved it back into her pack, as she pull herself from the ground. With one last look around, she began sprinting back to the Humvee. They needed to be in that shed before daybreak and that wasn’t far off.
As Stella backed the vehicle into the shed, the problem that nagging her since spotting the third aircraft... How did they manage to stay so close? Jumping out of the vehicle she secured the shed doors. Looking over the vehicle, a cold reality slapped Stella in the face, this was a military vehicle, they were being tracked. She moved swiftly to vehicle snatching the back door open and pulling out their supplies “Trip, Trip, we've got to move. They’re tracking us!” the insistent hiss, crack from her lips. How close they were now was a mystery, they needed to be away from this vehicle and soon.
