I chuckled. "Oh, and your not?"

I grinned and pushed my bangs out of my eyes. "You coming? Cause im about to leave you here girly." I winked and headed torwards the door.

"I'm dying for some snowcones. What's some good flavors?"

I thought it was kinda funny how I switch topics so easy, but I didnt care. As long as the topic wasn't about-.. I caught myself and bit my lip.

"I'll just meet you outside by the care with Danny & Lucas." And with that, I sprinted down the stairs and went where I thought Danielle was.

Nic stayed where he was knowing that no one could find him even if the possibly looked he would simply duck under the water and swim to the boat house. Which was locked from the outside, it felt good to him with the water lapping at his chest and his eyes looking through the cracks at the lights of their beach house.

Danielle laughed. "Okay." she said and pulled Lucas with her as she walked out the door. "Come on guys." she said loud enough for everyone in the house to hear her. She still had Lucas's hand and was still dragging him along with her. "It would be nice if Nic would join us." she yelled loud enough so that everyone in the house could hear. The only thing wrong with this was the fact that Nic wasn't even in the house.

When the Lakehouse was clear of its occupants Nic went back into the house heading straight up stairs, he knew Ray and he knew she had to have a diary. Finally his hands crossed the leather bound book which was in her dresser he opened it up and read its contents and smiled knowing what he already knew she was in love with him. Some things written inside made him blush while the rest made him very unsure of his care for lacey. With a glint in his eye he took the book and ran out into the street following the others. He would get his chance to speak to Ray and when he did he would make it worth her while and make it something she would never forget.
