Imagine Retsu in this outfit

.
Name: Kazehari Retsu
Age: ??
Gender Female
World: Custom (Although the fc is Naka from Kantai Collection)

General Information
Retsu has brown eyes and brown, necklength hair, part of which she keeps up in twin buns. Her clothes, hairstyle and manners do not fit her apparent age. Because of this she is often looked down upon. This is on purpose.

Why would she want that? You might ask.

It's because she's the Immortal ArchMagus of her world. The last magic user left alive in this day and age.

If someone were to come across her in magic outfit, they'd think her to be just cosplaying. People also don't really pay attention to her if they think her beneath them.

Personal History:
Retsu was born roughly 900 years ago in Japan. However a ritual by mages intending to find the strongest magic user transported her to Europe. The mages hadn't expected the summoned being to be a baby. At first they were disappointed, but later on they began to gain enthusiasm. If this untrained newborn surpassed all of the trained mages in the world on potential alone, imagine how strong she would be if she was to be trained from an early age.

Retsu didn't have much of a childhood, but didn't know this to be abnormal, as she'd never met another child.

However, this is all that she will tell about herself, clamming up when more is asked.

Abilities:
- Magic
On her own world Retsu is near omnipotent. To bad this story takes place on another one. Her type of magic draws from the life force a planet radiates, so another planet means another magic system. She's both bright and well-learned enough to create a new discipline, but while she has all the time in the world to experiment, the people around her aren't that lucky. So figuring things out, while important, is not her main priority.

The only magical arts she managed to puzzle out so far are Wind and Healing.

- Writing
Retsu was a successful author in the past. Ironically enough, her novels were labeled fantasy, while they were closer to an auto-biography.

-Knitting
It relaxes her.

Retsu had found herself just outside of a seemingly abandoned city days earlier in her arcane garb, but the magical energies that were previously hers to wield were seemingly absent. This had horrified her quite a lot, until common sense kicked in. She made a list of the possibilities in her mind.

There were many possibilities, but most of them were variations on the same pattern.

"I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore", she had muttered, the reference, despite being a bit lame, increasing her mood slightly.

"I'm glad there isn't a wicked witch to fight, as neither my house nor my magic seems to have followed me."

Luckily the latter could be rectified.

Retsu plopped down on the ground, settling into a form to meditate. Had comfort been the only thing to think about, she would have done so in one of the houses of the city. However, meditating while surrounded by nature was far more effective, as the energy tended to be denser there.

While many mages would have expanded their senses outwards in order to determine the flow of magic in this world, Retsu reached into herself, into her very soul where the core of her own magic rested. She used this to interact directly with the magic of the world, poking and prodding it, instead of merely observing.

Time passed. The sun set and rose again a few times before Retsu stirred again. She had managed to figure out the values for Air and Life, although her control over these forces was very tentative, as the forces interrelated to these values were still a mystery to her. Still, she would probably be able to get by at this point.

Well, that and the fact that had she gone on any longer, she would have reached the point where her body might give out at a bad time. Now she still had energy left to scavenge, and if there was a need forage and hunt.

For now she headed into the city, not just to scavenge, but also because she had sensed other lifeforms while she contemplated the concept and value of Life during her meditation. Most were somewhat distorted though, in a manner she could not infer. Instead she headed to the nearest pure lifeform, which turned to be a blue-haired girl, with futuristic accessories that reminded Retsu of Hecate, her cat.

She hoped that the lovable ball of fluff would find a good new home.

"Where the hell am I?", the girl asked herself.

"Hello", Retsu called, hopefully not startling the girl, "I take it you misplaced yourself too?"

Alex would walk up to the other girl seeming to get closer and have a small tail sway behind her. She would walk up and look slightly more upon the Female.
"Hey Missy! So you're also in this pocket uni!" She speaks with small slang seeming to be one of the kids who hanged out in a group. "Oh and before we talk more. I am Alexander! But you can call me Alex!" She seems to also speak with a very happy toned voice

Retsu, being an old lady at heart, very nearly winced at the slang. She put on a smile anyway.

"I'm Kazehari Retsu, although it's probably Retsu Kazehari by your standards. It's nice to meet you miss Alex..."

She wondered if the girl knew more than she previously let on, having identified this as a pocket universe, but she let it slide for now.

"Nice Name Miss Kazehari! Anyway. Where did you come from? Like world name n' such?" She carries on giving out questions.
She smiles tilting her head sorta in a reply to her smile.

Yes, this girl definitely knew more than she let on. Still, Retsu didn't act on her suspicions.

"I'm from Earth", she replied. She knew for a fact that multiple realms had a version of Earth, so she both didn't lie and managed to give away as little information as possible at the same time. "How about you? At the very least your tech seems more advanced than that of my world, so we're probably not from the same realm."

(OOC: Please don't remove this post this time. Instead remove the post on the New Planet.)

The fact that the girl had actual cat ears under her headphones was something Retsu hadn't noticed yet. It was somewhat understandable too, in her own opinion. The headphones did cover the set of ears rather well, and... well... Retsu had dismissed the possibility since the girl seemed to have a set of human ears too.

The half-humans half-animals she had seen before only ever had one set.

Then again, who was she to judge those from another realm and/or planet?

"I can't say I've hear of it", Retsu said dryly, "Does that make this a First Contact situation?", she continued jokingly. "I can't say I've read up on the directives involved in it."

Ofcourse the directives mentioned were from Star Trek, and she only knew the Prime one. While she was a bit of a nerd, she wasn't bad enough to know them all from the top of her head...

Retsu frowned, "Are you a telepath?", she asked, "Because I'm pretty sure I didn't say that part out loud.", she paused.

"Anyway Star Trek is a show on Earth Television, it involves a futuristic civilization that goes out of it's way to meet other space faring races with the intention of joining each other and other races in a mutually beneficial arrangement."

"As far as I know we have no knowledge of a planet called Catropia. Earth did used to have a similar species to your own. They have died out about 2 centuries ago though, being extremely sensitive to pollution and the like."

(I hate to interrupt the rp for this, but since you're not answering my query at the OOC topic: Are you aware this RP is pending closure, presumably because you're breaking the rules?)

Retsu merely inclined her head, not wanting to voice her opinion on what the girl said.

"Maybe...", she paused.

"Seeing how you were together with your friends at the time, are they here too?"

Alexander walks in a line for around 3 steps and then turns to face Retsu again. "It feels we're alone here... Shameful really."

(Sorry for small post. I am trying to find out the problem with the closeure as I have no free Rain on it. Sorry!)

'Shameful' wasn't the word Retsu would have used. Her own opinion was closer to 'Sad' or 'Creepy'.

"I'm pretty sure we're not alone though", she answered, before amending "Well, in this part of the city, sure. But I've sensed multiple life forms further in. Most of them seem twisted in some way, but that says little all in all. It could simply mean that I haven't met this type of life form before."

She left the other side of it unsaid. It could very well be that the beings were actually twisted, but then realized that, as she thought of it, Miss Alexandra would have heard it anway, being a telepath. Should she block her mind?

Retsu decided against it. The girl had been hearing the thoughts of others for all of her life. If she did do it, the girl would be alone in her own mind, something which most instinctual telepaths found rather unsettling...

"Yessy! Others would be around here! I know their will be! People always here!" She tries to make the talk more cheerful again.
She ignores what she said in her head seeming to be busy making the people fun.

"Should we start going towards them then?", Retsu asked, "Or should we ensure food and shelter first?"

Both were tempting to her to be honest, although she found the latter to be the better idea. If the other life forms did turn out to be hostile, it was better to have a place to hide in, without having to go out again for food for a little while...

"Do you know where people are! Really!" She looks super happy about it and stares at her with a very big smile.
"I cannot believe it!" She thinks to herself thinking she might meet someone at last in this place.
"We maybe should find a house. Be roomies!" She tilts her head closing her eyes to look cute and honestable.

Retsu couldn't help but slam her mental shields up for a short moment as various thoughts entered her mind. They were gone within seconds though, and it could easily be mistaken as a natural moment of silence unless you were specifically trained to look for it.

She stayed silent for a few moments longer.

"I'm not sure whether this is because our races are alien to each other, but I have to say your way of looking at things seems rather skewed from my perspective.", Retsu told the girl dryly. "But that does not take away my question, which of the two options shall it be?"

"Food N shelter clearly! What if the Mutants from that planet over there come down!" She pointes behind her to what looks like a Black Moon Planet with Red lines that could be like lava or street lights running through it.
"Maybe she is hating something about this trip... Did I upset her?" She carries on thinking watching her stance trying to keep calm and collected.

Retsu closed her eyes and sighed, "Can you tell me what you know about this place?", she requested warily, but politely. "Because obviously you know a lot more about this planet then I do..."

Retsu felt tired speaking to the girl. Miss Alexandra seemed to jump between knowing and not knowing, and her light-hearted outlook on things wore on the jaded magus. Roomies? Seriously? Retsu had been spirited away against her will to some unknown place by an unknown force, and all the magic she learned Did. Not. Work in this place. Survival was on her mind, and the concept of she and fellow victims living together by necessity was as far removed from the concept of roommates, as the probable distance between Earth and wherever this place was...

Maybe she would have found it funny if it was uttered as a joke, but something told her the girl was serious.

"Sorry about my thoughts", she said, "But I haven't slept or eaten in days, and while meditation did take away the brunt of the resulting burden, I'm still far from my best."

Not that being at her best would make dealing with this easier, but it would be a step in the right direction.

"I do not know that much. I may look like I know... But I don't..." She looks down with a small frown knowing she hasn't got an answer for her. "I just know that bad things are here and that planet is the source of it... But destorying a Planet... How does one do that? How is it possible? Do you know Retsu?" She questions her with a small bit of hope in her eyes.
"Thoughts are not what scares me anymore..." She thinks to herself un-sure on what to say towards her to fix the problem they are in.

Retsu did not quite believe that first statement, but decided to keep quiet about it. Maybe the girl would let some more slip in the future? She decided to sum what she heard up in her heard.

- This is a Pocket Universe.
- Mutants from a nearby planet/moon roam this place
- This planet is destroyed

The first, she could believe. The second would explain the twisted life forms she sensed, but she took the third with a grain of salt. So far she had seen nothing that signified actual destruction. Depopulation, yes. But it being destroyed? No.

The world was both physically and meta-physically intact. This she knew for a fact.

The magic she learned on Earth might not work, but that didn't mean magic was impossible at all. This signified that at least meta-physically, the world was fine. And, as there were evidently no disturbances in the flow or an imbalance of nature, she could infer that the world was physically whole too.

As for destroying a planet? Well there were multiple ways.
- One could literally break it, destroying nature and making the planet uninhabitable as it strayed from it's orbit around the sun.
- One could tunnel down to the core of the planet, and remove the source of magic, and therefore life, turning it into a dead rock before long.

These were the two that were at the forefront of her mind.

She didn't bother to vocalize this, as she knew Miss Alexander would have heard anyway.
