She paused for a bit, "Should we go searching through the nearby buildings, or have you passed someplace good at some point?"
"Okay. So where do we go? The houses? The tower might have some houses. Where do we go in here?" Alex speaks in her normal soft questioning tone.
She seems to have gone back to being happy seeming to just be on mood swings so much.

I'm moving over the next three days, so I might be on less. Especially since internet isn't sorted out yet there...

She let the rest go unsaid.
"We can make exit's right? Like ladders to other rooms? Or... OR!!! ROPE SWINGS! Have fun on the way down!" She seems to smile to herself seeming pround.
"Think about it." She finishes off.
"What the flying hell was that? I think we should check it out..." Alex speaks in a confused tone after watching the fire ball go pass.
"What is that...?" She questions in her head.
Just as she finished thinking this the object streaked across the sky, creating a large crater as it landed.
Retsu sighed at the girl's following words. "Do stay behind me please, if you really want us to check it out. What if it's one of the mutants you were talking about?"
The Spartan sluggishly pulls herself up, groaning a bit as the armor blares warnings in her ears. She glances around the area, totally at loss to where she is.
'Impact may attract the locals... Better find a place just outside the crater to wait for them..."
She moves towards the edge of the crater, and makes herself hidden under some of the blast rubble, waiting.
"Then we fight? Or we try and hide from it?" Alex suggests getting ready to walk towards the crater "Still. What if it's another human! We might be able to make friends!"
"Why cannot people think of a little danger...?" Alex thinks to herself.
Around the edges are some metal scraps, but they seem mostly burnt, the metal contorted and warped. The faint outline of an eagle holding lightning and arrows in its talons, and the letters 'UN--'. Most of it seemed to have disintegrated in atmosphere, but it wasn't large enough to cause the crater.
"I'm not saying we should not go there, but so far you haven't given any inclination that you can fight in case it's needed. It's why I asked you to stay behind me, so that I can take the brunt if the other party really is hostile. I don't know about your culture, but to me you are a child. You deserve to be kept out of harm's way as much as is reasonably possible without infringing on your boundaries."
The magic user smiled wanly, having a lot more to say than she actually did, but not wanting to come over as overbearing.
"Shall we go then?"
She began walking towards the crash site, expecting the girl behind her to follow.

Tess shifts a bit, and starts to scan the distance of the ping, and finally batches a small glimpse of two figures approaching. With a low grumble, Tess enters a state of low power consumption and lowers the suit temperature to prevent a heat and life reading. She lies in wait, hoping to get a better look soon.
Alex stares around the site walking beside Retsu. "UN... What does that stand for Miss Retsu? And look at the mess. The fire hurts my nose too... But mixed smells... A human was here... I think?"
Alex covers her nose looking around the area she pitches her nose with some cloth from her pocket trying to stop the smoke getting in her nose. "What do you think did this Miss Retsu?"
"Well, on my world it would stand for 'United Nations', but I'm pretty sure it won't be that.", she shrugged. "It seems to be an escape pod of some kind, and my planet is far from developed enough for actual space travel, ergo, probably not from there. Then again, time-space seems to be wonky around here, what with our sudden appearances here, and it could very well have from the future of my Earth, or an alternate realm's Earth...".
Noticing that Ms. Alex's senses were getting iritated by the smoke, she stopped.
"Wait for a bit, will you?"
She dug into herself again, interfacing with the world through the core of her magic as she had done before. Beads of sweat dotted her head, admittedly some were from the heat of the flames, but others were definitely from exertion. For a moment the world seemed to stutter to a halt, before the wind began blowing from a different direction, taking the smoke with it.
Playing with air pressure may be easy on a normal level, but what Retsu had just done was change the weather patterns of an entire planet, and have them remain a cohesive whole.
Retsu winced not even moments later, berating herself, not sure what she had been thinking during that display of power. This had brought down her own reserves to less than half, and there were still potentially hostile beings out there...
"Hope to God they don't shoot me on sight." She mutters.
As Tess spoke Kitty's ears pointed right at her location seeming to walk over "Hello? Who was that?" Alex keeps yelling in the place it came from.
She kept walking soon walking into her through the smoke. She will look up at her. "Urm... Hello... Who are you?"
Nevertheless, with a despairing expression, she followed the girl, who walked up to a giant, armoured woman.
Retsu couldn't help but cross her arms and glare threateningly as their eyes crossed, over the head of a seemingly unaware catgirl, a visible aura of DOOM surrounding Retsu.
'Give me ONE reason...', that expression that had made Elder Demons cower in times before seemed to said, '... Just ONE...'
Ofcourse that wasn't all that the glare said, it going into detail what would happen if the woman did dare, but the fact that Retsu's glares were very, very descriptive was neither here nor there.
"One reason for what? What's wrong here? I think all are fine here yes?" Alex stares between them both her tail swaying happily behind her as she switches her looks between them both.
She looks over Tess seeming to learn her armour and what she is seeming to then look at the new look on Retsu seeming scared herself even though she wasn't targeted.
"Where am I? I want a planet name, location of planet, and the closest UNSC base if there is one." She cuts off after the last word, returning to her silent and unmoving stance.
"This is a pocket uni Miss. You're sadly locked in here most likely forever... Nothing you can do can change that... Maybe we could start forming a group to take on the Master behind this crap! Or... We destory the evil planet up there!" She points to the demon like planet. "Lets be friends. And worry about that okay!"
Alex worries about what is going to happen with the two staring at each other.
"I have no time for games. I need to get back to my platoon, but I can't get a signal here. I'm very busy currently and being here is delaying that."
Tess didn't have high hopes talking to the catgirl, so she hoped that the other woman would be at least a little more sensible.
"That's too ****ing bad", Retsu eventually said. "Chances are small you're in the same time, or even universe as you used to be. Somehow, someone or something is transporting random people from all over the time-space continuum to this city. It plucked Ms. Alex over there from her spaceship and me from my home planet."
"As for info about the location, I'm not the person to ask that. I'm not the telepath that picks up information out of the thoughts from the mutants roaming this planet..."
To be honest, Retsu wasn't all that sure about that theory about Ms. Alexander, but it was what made most sense for the moment.
"... As that would be the girl you just completely disregarded."
Granted, Ms. Alex tended to get on her nerves too at times, but to be dismissive of an alien child just because of her demeanor. It didn't set well with her.
"Don't be rude! We're all stuck here! Please be nice to the other people! Or we may as well hand outselfs over to the mutants..." Alex worries looking between them. "I do not wish to be alone in this world from people fighting and scaring me away..."
Alex seems to start shaking seeming scared of what might just happen. She backs away slowly being about two steps away from them both. She would just stare and be scared.
"You are sure about this? It really doesn't really sound.... Sensible. But it does explain a few things. Also, I'm not so keen on making friends. I was trained for all my life, not the kind to 'make friends' per say. If you know how to get off this planet, then lets go do it so we can end this as soon as possible."
