"It's damn bright in here!" His voice roared as the humans ran, in fear.
Fear was such a petty emotion, there was so many other great feelings, but humans always wasted them on fear. That is why their world was so disgusting.
When it was brought up, if he wanted to go to another world, it was spoke as if it was beautiful, full of life, higher thinking, but it seemed it was all lies. It was just a pathetic excuse to watch chaos unfold. Though watching the other creatures try to blend in, as though they were accepted, did make Elia laugh to himself.
But as he got closer to the classrooms, he noticed three beautiful girls, so innocent and fragile, like paper. He began to grow interested in them, so as he roared to get all the other wastes of space, he caught their attention.
He was cool and collect, walking smoothly towards them, a fairy, and two other beautiful mysteries. A cigaret hung off his full lips, a lighter was being brought to Newport, when a shadow over came here, and a small hand smacked the cigaret out of his mouth before it was lit.
"What's your problem?!" Elia was annoyed, and noticed he was under an umbrella with a short girl.
"My problem is you. Are you just looking for trouble? Because now you have it!" Her voice was low and harsh, not lady like at all.
The girl held on to the illegal content and squashed it in her hand. "Learn to be smart." She spoke the last part as she began to walk away.
Elia had a large blush across his face, the teenage hormones were setting in, having to want to impress girls of all kinds, without looking like he was trying to impress them, his pride died by a weird girl. And as the pride decade Elia ran full blast at the girl, losing control.

Annette could tell that the girl was far more interested in Jurehak then she was in speaking with her. Although it hurt only a bit, she was more then used to having others preferred over her as company, and even though that boy was, indeed, a Jurehak, it wasn't as though the two could not be destined to become friends. If only she could predict the future ... That would be amazing, at least in her mind.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Duine. Perhaps if you go after the boy, Fiona, he will be more then willing to help you. So, if you insist ..." she stepped to the side, motioning with her arm for Fiona to follow him, "For, although I am more then willing to assist you, I haven't a clue as to where anything is at," she shrugged. With a slight wave at the two girls, she turned on her heel, not a clue as to where she was heading.

She stopped mid-step, however, when she spotted yet another disagreement between two obviously different species. What was with all of this unsolved turmoil and dispute between so many species? It truly was a sad and sorry sight when two people could not sacrifice their prejudices of one another, merely due to what they were. It was one of the only things that could cause her to become so angry as to lose control.

With a sigh and a deep breath so as to gain control of her emotions, she made her way calmly over to the two. The girl did not even seem to be aware of the fact that the boy was charging at her from behind, and he truly was a force to behold. If he were to come into contact with her, Annette did not doubt for a moment that the girl would become hurt in one way or another.

Her hands slowly rose, her right fingers curling into her palm to form a loosely-held fist, which was turned to the side. The inside of it pressed against her left palm, and with a few soft, incomprehensible words, a pink pentagram bloomed with her hands. For a moment, she stood there, murmuring soft words seemingly to herself, her eyes gently closed. Out of nowhere, her eyes flashed open. Replacing the normal, gentile purple iris's, were now bright, shining, pink ones, and with one more murmur, her hands flew out, in the direction of the boy. However, instead of the attack that undoubtedly would have been thought to occur, all that was the result of the murmuring, was a strong gust of wind, and a sudden rumble of the earth. With a crack, a large, rectangular chunk of the earth shot up, separating the two, and Annette's eyes slowly returned to normal.

"I honestly hope that, for the sake of both of us, you do not attempt to do more harm in this predicament. It would be in your best interest not to attack that girl," she said softly, walking casually over to the boy. Her arms crossed over her chest, and she puffed out a breath, beads of sweat on her brow from the exertion it caused her to use her powers.

"Now, would you care to explain to me as to why you would attempt to attack whoever that girl was? As far as I know, there was no provocation, so why attack someone without reason?" she asked with a raised brow. A flick of her wrist tossed her hair back from her shoulder and down to her waist, and she fixed a steady yet gentle gaze on him. "Also, forgive my lack of manners. My name is Annettia. Annettia Strattonia. But please, call me Annette."

She walked into the room seeing someone in her bed. Her skin was so light, not white, but light, it burned Sky's eyes. The whole idea of the girl laying in the bed bothered Sky. This whole world bothered her, and she already had to deal with some punks that she wasn't in the mood for a roommate, and not one that was going to make things difficult either.
"Hey! Move it!" Her voice was strong, and cold. It was the only way from being a push over.
Sky's hair fell down her face, her teeth grew, and her eyes became blood red. It had been awhile for her to become this stressed, and the more stressed she got the sicker she became. Sky blamed the girl for this.
"You're in my bed." Her voice was sharp.

Fiona did not hear the girl enter the bedroom; her eyes closed as she let her mind wonder. When, suddenly, the angry voice belted out and she yelped in surprise; flinging herself from the bed. Lifting herself up off the floor, she looked up at the girl with bright and fearful eyes. The girl was somewhat dark in appearance; with thin ink black hair that covered part of her face and large white fangs that could possibly bite her fragile arm in two if she allowed her to do so. Her eyes glowed such a red they almost looked like rubies.

Fiona quickly stands to her feet and brushes her school uniform off, giving a nervous bow.
"S-sorry! I didn't know this one bed was your specifically...I thought either would do...F-forgive me...My name is Fiona Hiyashi...and...yours?" She asks, standing straight and reaching out a delicate hand to shake hers. So...this was her room mate? She was very frightening. As she waited for the girl to respond, Fiona let out a fearful gulp.

She didn't seem too happy with life; or, at least, was quite on edge that day. She wondered what could have happened to possibly make her so angry...Was it really simply because she had been on her bed? No matter...If the girl turned out to not want anything to do with her, Fiona would simply shower and place herself to bed. It had been a long day, after all...And, the way this girl looked, Fiona knew she definitely did not want to get on her bad side and be to pushy with her.

Although, at a second thought...Perhaps she could help her...If there was something bothering this girl, she would definitely want to help...Fiona loved helping others and making them smile. But...would she even give her the chance to do so?...

The girl stuttered and was so weak it made Sky even more upset. But at least it wasn't a human, or that stupid boy with the cigarette she had to deal with so early in the morning.
"I want that one, it's the one far from the window, next time, don't be in my way." Her eyes darted at the girl.
Sky went to put a blanket on the window to keep any sun from shinning in. It was annoying how the school did not yet allow night courses or rooms without windows.
still building and waiting for the funds they had told her, after she was already in the damn school.
Sky laid down and closed her eyes, she didn't bother changing clothes, she didn't bother talking to the girl, until Sky spoke loud enough for the girl to hear.
"Have you ever been in love with someone you hated?" Sky pictured the boy with the cigarette. She hadn't gotten him out of her head all day, he was such an ass, and had what seemed to be balls.

Àstrid walked beside Ace with such wonderment, her eyes never left him for a second. They walked in silence for most of it until Àstrid spoke up.
"Who is Mr. Smith?" She spoke with the same bubblegum tone. This was not like her, asking a human or anyone, about something she ears dropped. She had been punished very badly for it enough times to have learned her lesson, but something inside her found itself asking such a question.
It was hard to tell if it was the question or the sudden talk that surprised Ace.

Fiona watched as the girl simply walked by without a second glance at her hand, and so, awkwardly, she put her hand down at her side. Watching, hesitantly, the girl began to put a blanket up over the window. It caused the room to be extremely dark and shady. She wasn't so sure she liked the idea, being that Fiona enjoyed the outdoors and the sun. However, she wasn't about to argue with the girl. It wasn't like she would be in the room often, anyways...With that thought, some other questions arose. On vacation time or weekends, what would she do? Was there anywhere to go? Anything fun to do? Fiona made a mental note to figure this information out later....

She watched as the girl laid on the bed she had been so comfortably in only moments before; silence falling over them in the air. With a soft sigh, Fiona turned to begin gathering her things to take a shower and change. But, before she could. the girl spoke up. She asked a very bizarre question; one in which Fiona wasn't exactly sure how to answer. Had she ever loved someone she hated?...Now, not only was she unsure how she could possibly love someone she hated, but Fiona had never really held a strong hatred towards anyone...Though, on the subject, Goyte definitely came to mind....
"Um, well...no, I have not...I mean, well...I love someone who I am supposed to hate, I guess....But why do you ask such a thing?..."

As she waits for a reply, her eyes gaze over the backpack of the girl. There was a tag with her name printed on it; in case it got lost, she supposed....Sky....So, that was her name? It was a very hopeful and beautiful name for someone so..well, not that Fiona meant to be rude, but someone so depressing....She was quite dark and seeming to be angry at the world. But, it seemed she had achieved something, for the girl was talking to her about something personal. Love was always a delicate subject for anyone...Perhaps she would be able to help the girl after all. There mere thought of it excited her very much, and she hoped dearly that Sky would continue her conversation with her.

Again the girl stuttered but this time with words that hung in the air.
"Someone you are suppose to hate?" Sky asked aloud confused, and little annoyed that the girl didn't explain. But then Sky thought, what if she was just suppose to hate that punk. He was nothing more than a waste of time to think about.
Her eyes opened, and her head turned to look at Fiona.
"I feel so very confused, he is not suppose to be on my mind, he is just some punk that wants attention, and I just want to go home. This world is too bright, too loud, too lonely, too scary." The words slipped out before she could catch them.
It was true, a whole new realm was lonely, but not only lonely but Sky was scared. This world could kill her. Death was nothing something Vampires thought about, about in here, that was all she could think of.
"Fiona, tell me. This person you are suppose to hate, why do you love him, aren't you afraid of what this hate will do to him?" Sky kept staring at the Unicorn, hoping she would give some type of meaning to Sky's life.

Fiona bit her lower lip with worry as Sky asked her questions, somewhat nervous that she would be unable to give her the answers she seemed to so desperately cling for. Fiona was the last person who knew anything about love, having only recently fallen in love with Goyte...and the only love she had ever received from anyone else was her parents, which seemed so long ago now....Fiona silently walked over to sit on her bed; dangling her legs over the edge as she brushed some hair behind her ear. Yes, a flat human shaped ear...

It had been a while since she had been in her true form, hadn't it? But she couldn't sleep in this room as so, being that a horse was much too big for a bed and the room in the dorm wasn't exactly suitable for...well...a horse. She would only wind up bumping into things and causing a racket for her new room mate. But, perhaps, early in the morning when everyone was still asleep, Fiona would step out for a spot of fresh air and stretch her legs....That may work....Returning her thoughts to Sky, it was quite obvious she was troubled and confused.

No, it wasn't only that. She was scared...This world was new to her, as it was to Fiona. She could connect on that, for sure...Knowing this, she decided to explain everything from the beginning, hoping that her story would therefor make the frightened vampire feel more comfortable in her new world...
"Well, I can understand how frightening this world is...especially for a vampire, such as yourself... You see, I am a unicorn...On my planet, there were two sides; the lovely and the dried and hideous. The unicorns claimed the lush side while a species called the Jurehak claimed the other. Now, being that I was so disconnected from the pack and so young, I did not know of the long hatred between my species and this other one...

Unicorns are meant to be agile; graceful. They are meant to escape trouble with ease and meant to be known as extremely good luck. However, I seemed to be the exact opposite of this, for I always got into trouble and was to fragile and weak to do anything about it; too clumsy. The other unicorns looked at me like a curse and avoided me like one as well...The only love and care I received was from my parents; which wasn't often, being that they had their responsibilities to care for during the day....Anyways, I ran away, one day, because I felt so out of place; so hated....

I ran away here, to Earth...Here is where I found them; the humans. They were...so cruel...They were greedy and wanted to sell me for money. Being as weak and clumsy as I was, I couldn't make an escape like a normal unicorn..My parents came to my rescue, to allow me a chance of escape, only to die in my place....And now, many years later, I return here with these humans to this school to try and become a better unicorn. It is so frightening, having to see these humans walking around everyday....It brings back so many bad memories...

I fear, at any moment, one may grab me and try to slaughter me for my horn...No, I do not fear the things you fear as a vampire, like light, but I fear none the less. But, this is what friends are for....Friends help numb the fear and protect one another....
Taking a quick moment to catch her breath, Fiona lets out a sigh. Her point being, well, that it would help if Sky had friends to care for her and love her...Her words were strong, and not once did she stutter as she normally did. In a sense, there seemed to be some power in her words...Soon after, however, she continued speaking... "Anyways...I have met a Jurehak here, named Goyte...

and, well, I do love him quite a bit...I did not hate him, being that I did not know anything about our race's grudge against each other until earlier this morning, but I think I know, deep down, that he hated me...Or, perhaps he still hates me...I am not sure...I am still nervous and scared...But I cannot help myself around him...Against all my instincts as a unicorn, I formed a pact with him before coming to my dorm....I'm not even fully sure what the pact meant, but it seemed important to him...and even though unicorns do not like being tied down to one person, I wanted to be close to him so badly. I was willing to risk all that made sense to me just for him....Maybe you are having an issue with a boy...But, if you think you love him, it is better to explore the possibility than to hide it with hate and wonder what could have happened if you ever were together...

With those words, Fiona drifted; silence falling over them once more. She stared at the wall, wondering if Sky would appreciate her words or simply laugh at them. She hoped, with all her heart, that either way what she said would bring some sort of comfort to the girl. As for friends, Fiona also knew she was correct. Without friends, it would be nearly impossible to control your fear on a planet that was so scary. Sky needed friends...and for a moment, she wondered if she could be Sky's friend...She knew how scary this world could be...Fiona began to gently finger the unicorn charm on her silver bracelet, which was on her right wrist, as she waited for a reply. She began to think of Goyte...

He acted, now, as if he enjoyed he presence, but Fiona wasn't entirely sure. What if it was all a joke?...What if he was just setting her up to tear her down?...What if he was planning on hurting her, and Fiona was just falling for it, like the fragile little naive unicorn she was?...A soft frown came to her lips as, once again, she battled with her thoughts and fears.
