a character in “When the World Dies”, as played by Neru

Juliana got this tattooed onto her right wrist soon after her family was killed. Along the inside of the heart is a simple phrase; "Always remembered, never forgotten."

Police Agent 1.
Scientists. Though at times she still wonder's who and what she's really fighting for.
Juliana Romero stands at 5'3. A bit on the short side. She has pale skin, and dark blue eyes, that sometimes appear to be a grayish mixture similar to a stormy sky. Black hair falls to the middle of her back, blood red streaks running throughout it. Upon her person's she keeps a dagger, tucked into a sheath agianst her left thigh, as well as a holsterd 9mm pistol. She never goes anywhere without her sunglasses, or her cross necklace.
Juliana carries a variaty of weapons, depending on her mood. Usually she sticks with her rifle, custom made 9mm, and her short sword that is sheathed at her right hip. She always carries plently of extra bullets and magazines on her body, incase she ever needs them.
Juliana is a skilled fighter, trained in fist to fist combat. One of the many reasons she was asked to join the Police force was because of her fighting skills. Juliana had started training with her older brother when she was only 7 years old. By the time she was 10, she'd already surpassed her brother's strength, and only continued to expand her fighting abilities. She's also a trained swordsman, and a skilled parkour runner.
Juliana's personality is...Complex. While she's a naturally sweet girl, she has a hardened surface. She keeps almost everything to herself, especially when it comes to her feelings and emotions. Most people veiw her as closed off, and distant. But, Juliana wasn't always like this. Before her family died, she could be read like an open book, and always carried her heart on her sleeve. Since their passing, she's set walls up, blocking everyone else out. It's how she feel's she can stay safe and unhurt.
Juliana was born into a fairly wealthy family. She is originally from Verona, Italy. She spent her early childhood in the city, training with her older brother Mark. When the United States fell to Japan's forces, Juliana was 13 years old. She was shocked, never for a moment thinking the great nation could fall. Soon after that it was only a matter of time before the world began to bend to Japan's will. Juliana was 16 and a half when their forces destroyed her home. She watched in horror as her family was killed before her eyes by the 'vampires.'

Her father was the first to go, the vampires tourtured him before her and her mother's eyes for several hours, before finally draining him of his blood. They took her brother next, though his death was much quicker, and far less painful. Or at least that's what Juliana perfered to beleive. Next, her mother. Her mother's death was quick, and over within seconds. This Juliana was thankful for. Once the vampires came to her, Juliana took a deep breath, already prepared to meet her fate. But, something changed. Instead of killing her, one of the vampires helped her too her feet before saying. "We've been watching you...You show a great deal of potentioal and we would like to offer you a position.." Shocked at first, Juliana could only nod numbly, not being able to speak.

They returned to Japan, and Juliana was sent to the scientist. It was then she was met with their proposal. Join their police force. Of course, Juliana could not refuse. And so she joined. It's been 7 and a half years since she watched her family be massacared before her eyes, by the very people she works for. That is the one thing that has pushed her to work as hard as she does in the force, earning her a high ranking positon at such a young age.
Juliana hardly sleeps, for fear of the nightmares that haunt her dreams. She still see's her parents and brothers deaths like they happened moments ago. As she's grown older, Juliana has become rather confused about where her allegiance lies. She's not sure if she trust's the scientists or not and she's not exactly sure what she's really fighting for.

So begins...
