Introduction
Until the mother was driving home one night. It was a shock to them all when the father got a phone call telling him that she had been hit by a drunk driver. Their only solace was knowing that she had died instantly, with no time to suffer. However, her death causes the father to fall into a deep depression and throws himself into work to support the family and escape his sorrow. Doing so helped him, but that left the ten children to pretty much fend for themselves. They get themselves up in the morning and fed, the older ones help get the younger ones to school and do their homework, and they really are each other's support system.
The children's ages and genders will depend on who plays them and what they wish. Obviously not all of the children will live at home, perhaps there is an older sister who has moved out but comes around and helps out where she can. There can be twins, triplets, really anything, as long as time frames are realistic keeping in mind about 10 months minimum between children's ages. Friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, and others are all welcome as well to help out plot points move along and get things really going.
Our roleplay will kick off as the children are coming back from the mother's funeral. Their will be grief, anger, and all sorts of emotion running high to get us started off.
