Role: Jamar is wealthy even for the people at Bloodworth Prep, but people tend to ignore him. He doesn’t care though. He likes to melt into the background. It helps that his older brother was extremely popular when he went to the school. His brother was extremely outgoing and he was class president. Everyone expected Jamar to be just as outgoing, but he is sheepish. People don’t even seem to notice he is around for the most part. However, Jamar knows of his surroundings. He knows each person’s personality and he sketches them as he sees them on the inside. If he likes it enough, he’ll paint it onto a canvas. He hides his sketches and paintings and hardly anyone has ever seen them, but he is very talented at what he does.

Appearance: Jamar has a peach complexion, because he likes to paint outside at times. He has medium brown hair and bright green eyes. It is not uncommon for him to walk around with paint on his face and all of his shirts have paint stains on them. He has straight, chin length hair, which is always in perfect care. Often, Jamar will wear a hat like the one in the drawing. He wears black pants on most days and even though is shirts are usually stained, he dresses in fairly formal clothes. Jamar’s long limbs and large eyes give him a somewhat girly appearance. Never the less, he still looks like a boy, just a very pretty one. Even though he has long limbs, Jamar isn’t very tall.

Preferred Clothing: Semi-formal, white shirt with black pants and a black hat. He likes casual shoes though, like tennis shoes.

Personality: Jamar is sheepish and he tend to blend into the background like a wall flower, but he doesn’t mind much. Actually, he enjoys not being noticed too much. He’s tired of people telling him that he should be more like his older brother. He loves his older brother very much, but everyone always compares Jamar to him. “Why are you so short when your brother is so tall?” or “Why can’t you be a leader like your brother?” are among the things people will say to him. Jamar isn’t jealous of his brother though and he will not snap at people for comparing him to his brother.

What people don’t know is that he and his older brother are very close, as are he and his younger brother. Most people don’t know he even has a yonder brother though.

Though people compare Jamar to his older brother, he is extremely sweet. He doesn’t snap at people for talking to him or anything. Instead, he tenses up and speaks softly. He doesn’t stutter either though. Jamar is very nervous around people and can seem sad. However, Jamar almost never gets angry.

Although Jamar doesn’t like to be noticed too much by people, he loves it when animals warm up to him. He rescues any abandon animals and gives them to any rescue group he can find. From recuing animals, Jamar has gained an excellent amount of knowledge of animals. He can help them through sickness if he finds them ill. Cats are his favorite animal.

Anything classical or old, Jamar probably loves. He loves clothes and music from the 1800s and paintings from almost anytime from the past, but mostly European.

Most of Jamar’s spare time is spent sketching people he observes and painting. He only paints portraits though. Occasionally he will do one of an animal, usually he does one for each animal he rescues. He mostly does portraits of what a person is like on the inside though. He never draw people as they truly look. If he thinks someone acts ugly and cruel, he will draw that person so. If he thinks he or she act beautiful and are kind, he will draw him/her so.

Jamar also enjoys doing is playing the piano. He really loves the classic sound and so it’s one of his favorite instruments.

One thing Jamar hates is physical activity. He really detests running around and playing sports. He’d rather just relax and paint or play the piano. It makes him feel more at peace.

Oddities: When Jamar is nervous he bites his lips and closes up.

Skill(s): Jamar can cook, but he doesn’t cook anything too fancy. He’s good, but he’s no cheff. Jamar can write extremely well, but he doesn’t enjoy writing much. His main skills are in art. He’s an outstanding painter and a brilliant pianist.

History: Jamar is the middle child of three boys in his family, which only consists of males Jamar’s mother died when he was seven in child birth with his youngest brother. Ever since then, his father became depressed and constantly works to get his mind off of things. His father is never home anymore. Jamar’s little brother always clings to him now and they typically are behind their older brother. Jamar and his younger brother are shy, but Jamar has always stood up for him. Jamar’s older brother always sticks up for Jamar and himself. All three of them are really close to each other.

As a result of their father’s high paying job even without working so much, when he started working all the time and never coming home, their family became one of the wealthiest families around. Their father works for a high-end computer company and is one of the founders.
Both Jamar and his little brother were extremely upset when their dad started sending them to boarding school. They were all afraid of being separated, but they dealt with it fairly well and came to terms with the separation.

Jamar started painting because of his little brother. Long before that, he had been playing the piano. His little brother saw Jamar painting for a school project once when they were both very little and he was ecstatic about Jamar’s painting. He said “Your paintings are so pretty… It’s like the wet sidewalk when it rains!” And after that, Jamar never stopped painting. He grew to love painting more than anything else, because of all the support he gets from his brother.
