Eirika is a very studious being, believing in a principle that was taught to her at a young age; "It is in being weak that we learn to be strong. We who have nothing have more to gain and less to lose than those who have everything." At that time she knew she was not a very powerful being, but since she could not polish her arms, she instead begun to polish her wits. She became a very studious being, opting to read and read book after book. Various fields, various genres. Anything she could get her hand on. She believed that she could gain enough knowledge to take on any opponent and obstacle that should appear before her.
Due to events she experienced in her past, Eirika is a kind of being one could simply describe as a vigilante. She has zero tolerance for acts of injustice or harm, especially towards those she considers friends or comrades. She will avidly seek out the guilty person and do her best to return the damage caused tenfold. She is a very vengeful person; after all, she knows much too well the pain of being tormented. Furthermore, she is very loyal. Despite being a very competitive person, she knows that there are limits to how far a person can go in terms of friendly teasing and banter. Not to mention, there are always set rules that a person should never break. She will never leave her comrades behind, and is always willing to put herself in the line of fire, even if it means risking herself.
Winning ; Though, winning is putting it lightly. Rather, Eirika likes to conquer. She is extremely competitive and enjoys utterly destroying her enemies. Of course, this never really shows, until she begins the game, that is.
Books ; 'Knowledge is power,' quite the well known saying. Definitely one that Eirika herself truly believes in. This world is ruled by the strong and powerful; if the role of powerful is already taken, then how would one hope to defeat them? The answer: Become the wise. Naturally, the main reason is simply that she enjoys the escape from reality that comes with books.
Losing ; Eirika is quite the sore loser. Being ever so confident in her ability to game, she takes a major hit to her confidence when she finds a game she cannot beat someone in. This can generally put her off for a varying amount of time.
Walking ; Eirika normally moves around through levitation by manipulating the air through magic, or by using her wings. As such, she is not really accustomed to walking as she once was and absolutely hates having to do so. It just seems like an unnecessary chore.
Q U I R K S ;
γ Flight γ"I prefer to use my wings and ability of aerokinesis whenever I can. I mean, I have them for a reason right? Instead of walking, which is such a drag mind you, I choose to float or glide my way around. It can get tiring at times, more so than walking, but it feels better so it's worth it."
γ Fidgeting γ"Whenever I feel like I'm being backed into a corner, or when I'm in a pinch, I suddenly start repeatedly closing and opening my hand, clenching it. You know, now that I think about it, I also do that sometimes when I feel confidant and when I'm about to win."
γ Reading γ"Whenever I lose, which isn't that often mind you, but whenever I do, I always find comfort in books. I find myself shutting myself in my room and just envelope myself in the world of literature. It's like a form of escape, escape from reality."
S T R E N G T H S ;
γ Knowledge γ"I believe that if you cannot be physically strong, you must become mentally strong. In a brawl, I am not overly confident in my abilities, thus I polish my wit to come up with strategies to put me at the advantage, despite my physical limitations."
γ Aerial Movement γ"With a combination of flight thanks to my wings and my aerokinesis, I find it extremely easy to move through the skies. Of course, this has it's limitations, but I do believe that I am unparalleled in the moments that I am able to utilize this advantage."
γ Confidence γ"If there is anyone one attribute of myself that I find to be absolutely amazing, it would be my confidence. Without confidence, a being would only be able to do so much. However, since I have quite the surplus of it, I believe that there is not a single star that I cannot reach if I so wished."
W E A K N E S S E S
γ Close Combat γ"I usually always incorporate some form of magic or aerial maneuvers into my fighting style, but there are times when I have to fight without. Doing so is quite a problem for me, but there where my master comes in, I suppose. Gotta cover for each other, right?"
γ Walking γ"It is not just walking, but moving on the ground in general. To be honest, using my wings is just about the same amount of energy as walking, but for some reason I feel absolutely drained when I move around on the ground. It is quite a nuisance."
γ Stubbornnessγ"I do not prefer to refer to it as stubbornness, but that is how everyone else calls it. Me, being my naturally competitive self, I absolutely abhor the idea of losing or backing down. If someone challenges me to a match, why should I turn them down? if things are looking grim, I will just tough it out and turn things around. Is that so wrong?!"
F E A R S ;
γ Hydrophobia γ"It's not that big of a fear, you know... but I never learned how to swim. Also, it makes my wings all soggy and stuff and it is hard to fly in such a state. Okay, and I am kinda scared of drowning since I never learned how to swim. Water is evil."
γ Confinement γ"I never want to be confined. It reminds me of when I was younger and I was always bullied. That feeling of helplessness... The feeling that there is nothing I can do and I just have to accept that I have been defeated... I think being in such a pathetic state is more terrifying to me than death itself."

POWER TWO ; Photokinesis and Harmonizing // Photokinesis, ability over light, serves minimal purpose to Eirika in the long run. She uses it to illuminate darkness and act as a sort of flash bang, temporarily blinding enemies with a bright light. Furthermore, she is able to draw messages in the air made of light. Eirika is also able to slightly create a false feeling around her through the ability known as harmonizing. With this ability, Eirika generates a field around her where a specific mood becomes more prevalent in a person. She usually uses this to bring out a more competitive or docile side in a person, depending on the situation.
POWER THREE; Enerkinesis // Erekinesis, an innate ability to control levels of energy. Through this ability, Eirika is able to release a large amount of energy at once, creating a miniature implosion within a radius around her person. This ability is destructive and leaves no room for mercy for anything in its wake.
POWER TWO ; While useful as a flash light and a distraction, Eirika's photokinetic abilities, like her aerokinetic, holds no offensive purpose. Instead, it is simply for stalling and practical uses. It is not a magic used in a true battle. Moving along, Eirika's ability in harmonizing is extremely limited. Her ability only effects a radius of thirty meters around her, so in a fight where she prefers to keep distance, it is hard to find use in this. Furthermore, she can only bring out one emotion at a time. After the harmonics wear off, it goes on a cool down for several hours. The length of the cool down depends on the length of time the magic was active. Also, not just any emotion can be tied to the ability. It has to be one that she is currently experiencing herself.
POWER THREE; First and foremost, the ability itself is uncontrollable once used. This ability in itself is a last-ditch effort. The ability expels large amounts of the users energy at once, creating a miniature explosion. This explosion has a radius depending on how much energy the user has., The more tired a user is, the smaller the radius. However, the explosion deals considerable amounts of damage to all those in range, friend or foe. Furthermore, the sudden release of energy leaves the user incapacitated for varying periods of time. The amount of time the user is out cold for is random. During this time, the user is extremely vulnerable.
However, there are some cases where Mystletainn is unable to be summoned or there just isn't reason to. At this time, Eirika is forced to use a different weapon which, unfortunately for her, is one of close combat usage. In contrast to the largeness and ranged capabilities of Mystletainn, Eirika's mundane weapon is a rapier, a very light, very close ranged, weapon. The rapier is a weapon that is meant for speedy thrusts and pierces. As such, Eirika must be agile and swift to ensure that she can inflict numerous hits whilst avoiding getting hit herself.
__Eirika Fado lived the life of a middle-class family. Her father was a business man and her mother was a nanny. They had a pretty decent income, enough to get by without wanting too much more. However, because of their occupations, Eirika's parents were rarely home. Due to this, Eirika grew up as a very lonely, independent child. Now, one would think that a simple cure to this loneliness would be to make friends at school. However, this was not the case. As a result of Eirika's unnaturally pink hair and bright amber eyes, she was always isolated and teased. She never really had the chance to make friends with other peers and classmates. Without a doubt, she was receiving endless amounts of attention from other beings, but frankly, she wished she never did stand out. Slowly, the simple teasing grew to name calling. That in turn grew to writing on her desk, to knocking her books out of her hands, to knocking her down. They ridiculed her for her lack of strength, for her unnatural colors, for her academic failures. Of course, Eirika was never able to fight back. Resisting was futile and a waste of effort needed to bring herself home despite her bruises. This continued up to her grade four years.
However, now 9-years-old, Eirika was taught a very valuable saying from her grandfather. "There is nothing wrong with being weak. It is in being weak that we learn to become strong. We who have nothing stand to gain more and lose less than those with everything." It was at this point that Eirika began to find meaning in what she has done. Education became her smith, intellect her weapon. While she was still unable to stand up to her tormentors on a physical view point, she became smarter and learned to outwit them. She caused an incident at her school where two of her tormentors ended up trapped in a portable classroom adn the teacher had to get them out. They never spoke about who had trapped them, nor had they ever come near Eirika following that incident.
It was in her sixth grade year that Eirika developed a taste for competition. She had joined the chess club and the a debate competition, at the request of her teacher, and she experienced her first ever loss. To this day, she has never forgotten the feeling of bitterness and frustration that she experienced when she lost those two competitions. As a result of her loses, she began to take such competitions more seriously. She strove to be the best of the best. From the remainder of her elementary school career and even through her high school year, Eirika took anything that even resembled a competition seriously. Whether it be being number one in the grade or having the perfect attendance. Small trivial things that no one else would take note of, these are among things Eirika took as a competition.
However, despite her top grades and aspiring future, Eirika dropped out of high school in midway through her grade 11 year. The reason being, her mother's death. She was ill for quite a while and one day her body just gave in to disease. Eirika never went back to school after that. Granted, she never stopped studying or reading books, but she never went back to school. The following year her father died too. He was unfortunately the victim of a car accident on his way home from work one day. Eirika was, should have been, in her grade 12 year. She should have been graduating from high school at this point in time. Yet, she still refused to go back to school. She stayed a shut in for the following few years, only leaving the house when absolutely necessary. She was relatively content with this current life style. However, unbeknownst to her, the life she knew would be changing drastically...
