"Let's cook." Cameron said standing up holding Benjamin and still playing with him as he walked towards the kitchen. He stopped almost dead in his tracks as she said she was worried. He wanted things to work out and figured that this would be one of the easier jobs for her. She wouldn't have to work long hours, just a few a day and Cameron was able to help with the boys. He took a deep breath.

"I think you're just overwhelmed by the training. It'll only be a few hours a day, and you'll have plenty of days off." He said setting Benjamin down. "You can even take an early morning shift so that you can be home with the boys shortly after they wake up." He offered trying to make it work for her. "And.. if.. if you don't think it's working once we get on board then we'll figure it out." He said smiling at her.

He was proud of himself for not blowing up, like he'd normally do. He thought it out and had come up with something on his feet like usual but without the anger he usually had. He could see himself changing in so many ways because of Brooklyn, Joshua & Benjamin and he liked it.

"Okay?" He asked walking over to her wrapping her in his arms.

Brooklyn had been worried that Cameron was going to get angry at her for this. She really just wanted to be able to talk to him about all of this. It seemed in the past everytime something like this had happened the two of them had ended up in a heated arguement. Big decissions and second guesses between the two of them didn't work. She had taken a big chance in talking to him about all of this and she hoped that he wouldn't freak out. However he didn't freak out at all and in fact he sounded worried but not angry.

He made a good point. Maybe she was just a little overwhelmed by all of the training which she had been through this morning. The way he made it sound was a lot less time commiting than what she had been told this morning. Brooklyn wanted to work and she felt that she also needed that small amount of time away from the boys. She loved them but she also needed some time away from them to be herself and to breathe. Brooklyn listened to Cameron as he spoke calmly to her and was glad that he was there with her. In fact she felt herself calming down slowly as he wrapped his arms around her.

Brooklyn wrapped her arms around him softly as she continued to look up at him. If he was willing to make this work and be supportive then she was going to be supportive and give the job a try. "Okay... I'm just worried that it could be too much but I promise I will give it a go" Leaning up she kissed him softly. "And thank you for saying all of that... I love you" Brooklyn said with a smile as she kissed him again.

"Now... what can I make my sexy boyfriend for dinner?" She asked willing to make him anything he wanted now.

He laughed at her last comment slightly and hugged and kissed her again, "Anything you want... as long as it tastes good. You know me." He said as they both walked into the kitchen. Cameron sat at the center island and pulled his laptop open, checking his emails and what not as he let Brooklyn do the cooking until the boys both crawled over. He shut his laptop immediately to play with them sitting on the kitchen floor making them both laugh with goofy faces and what not.

He really did love them already, unconditionally. Finally, they all ate together and afterwards Cameron helped clean up. The next week flew by and was over as quick as it had begun. Cameron and Brooklyn were getting along great and the boys were doing well and loving having their father around. It was the night before they had to be aboard the next ship and they had a few hour drive to port so they were going to do it while the boys slept.

Cameron did one final sweep through to make sure he had everything he needed. The boys were asleep already so all they'd have to do is load the car and carry them out. It would be simple. It all went downhill when the boys both woke up as they were headed to the car. They finally got them both in but they were both screaming. Cameron started driving figuring it might calm them but it didn't.

He lost his temper tried to cut someone off but slammed on his brakes, almost hitting someone. That was the final straw and he lost it. He raised his voice, "Brooklyn please make them stop." He snapped and immediately knew it. He ran his hand through his hair and pulled off the freeway and parked at a gas station. "I'm sorry I snapped." He got out of the car and opened the door pulling Benjamin out holding him, trying to calm him down but it wasn't working. Both of the boys were just fussy.

As much as Brooklyn tried the boys would not settle down. Their normal routine had them already asleep but since they had woken up it appeared nothing would get them back to sleep. She was seated in the front next to Cameron but was twisted around in her seat so she was facing the back. In both of her hands she had two of the boys toys and had been talking to them the whole time since they had left the hotel. Everything she tried only seemed to make things work.

When Cameron slammed on the breaks though she was tossed around in her seat, hitting her head back against the headrest. She cried out a little in surprise but flinching a little as the boys just screamed louder and then Cameron yelled at her. Brooklyn didn’t say anything in response to him as she went back to trying to calm the boys down. “Come on Benjamin... Joshua.... Daddy is trying to drive” She whispered to them as slowly she felt the car coming to a stop as they pulled into a gas station.

“I know you are Cameron...” Brooklyn said knowing that he was sorry that he had yelled but that didn’t take back the fact it had happened. What had he expected her to do that she already hadn’t been doing? She couldn’t make them settle any better than what he could. She had got out of the car and held Joshua in her arms as he clung to her and cried. She bounced him a little as he began to settle just a little but not enough to stop the crying.

“Cameron why don't you just hand him to me?” Brooklyn suggested as she stretched her other arm out for Benjamin. “They can sense when we are stressed and it stops them from settling quicker” She said clearly frustrated herself over all of this as well as being a little tired. It had been a busy last few days with packing and having to go over everything she would need to remember for her new job. Brooklyn was trying not to take this out on him yet the short car ride had left her frazzled, especially when they had almost been involved in a car accident.

He sighed and was a little hurt that she didn't think he could get them to calm down as well as she could but handed Benjamin over. He headed inside and got himself a cup of coffee, bringing one out for Brooklyn as well and began to fill up the car with gas trying to keep himself calm. Everyone knew that Cameron had a temper and that was his one downfall but he tried his best to keep it under wraps with Brooklyn and the boys, sometimes, he just couldn't and he usually beat himself up over it. He stared down at the ground as he filled the car. Finally it stopped and he replaced the gas nozzle walking over to where Brooklyn was standing with the boys who were still fussing.

"Want me to take one of them?" He asked trying to help and at his wits end of how to.

By the time Cameron came back over to where she had sat on one of the picnic benches with the boys, Brooklyn was on the verge of tears. Her eyes had glassed over and her voice was unsteady as she spoke to them. Neither of the boys were settling down as much as she tried. It seemed that they were both just in a mood and nothing would calm them.

“Yes... please” Brooklyn said as she handed him Joshua. In truth Brooklyn hadn’t even looked at which of the boys she had given him but instead continued to bounce the one that was still in her lap. They were getting to the stage where they were over tired and Brooklyn was seeing a very long car trip ahead of them. Brooklyn was aware of the fact that Cameron would be tearing himself up for getting angry before but for the moment her responsibility was to get the boys settled and then she would try and talk to Cameron about what had happened.

He took Joshua and walked around with him bouncing him gently in his arms, talking to him softly. "Come on Buddy... Daddy's tired too.. Please calm down." He said repeatedly. Finally he got Joshua to stop crying and he curled him up in his arms kissing his forehead. "Thank you buddy." He whispered, looking down into his big eyes filled with tears still he wiped them away and still bounced him gently, getting him to fall asleep in his arms. He walked back over towards Brooklyn and put him in his car seat, strapping him.

Benjamin had calmed down but was still fussing. Cameron walked over and sat next to her, keeping an eye on where Joshua was. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and talked to him softly. He finally laid against Brooklyn and fell asleep in her arms.

Brooklyn watched Cameron with Joshua and couldn’t help but think that he was still so good with the boys. He had been able to calm them down when she couldn’t and this was just another example of this. Brooklyn watched as Joshua calmed right down and fell asleep. She listened intently as Cameron placed their son in the car. She waited for the sound of crying but it never came. At least one of them was settled as Benjamin continued to fuss in her arms. He had always been the one out of the two who would take that little bit longer to settle down.

When Cameron came over to her she leant into him gently when his arm went around her. It made her feel a little safer and certainly a little warmer. With the two of them talking to him it wasn’t too long before Benjamin was drifting off to sleep. “Thank god....” Brooklyn mumbled as she looked down at the sleeping baby in her arm. She let out a soft sigh of relief as she looked up at Cameron. “I’ll get him in the car and then we can head off again” She said to him quietly as she went to stand up and walk with Benjamin back to the car.

Cameron sighed hoping she might talk to him about earlier. He could tell she was a little upset but let it go and stood up, heading to get in the car, waiting for her to get Benjamin in, and they were on the road again. He was a little calmer driving this time, and the roads were a little less busy so that helped his driving. The boys stayed asleep and they finally got to where they were casting off. "I'll have someone get the bags in the morning, Let's just get to the suite and get to bed." He said grabbing his overnight bag and the boys bag, carefully getting Joshua out of the car and waiting for her, before locking the doors and walking towards the ship.

The night guard recognized him right away and let them on board, it was eerily quiet since no passengers were aboard and all the staff was either coming in a few hours or in the morning. Cameron couldn't help but look around at things as they headed to the suite, and finally after Brooklyn yelled at him softly he laughed and opened the suite door setting the bags down quickly, then heading to the bedroom the boys things had been set up in already thanks to Hilary.

He set Joshua down and covered him up, then headed back to close the door. He turned to Brooklyn coming out of the room. "So tomorrow morning, around 11 we start boarding. I have you scheduled just to welcome guests as they enter the ship for a few hours, and I'll be doing final stuff but will have the boys if that sounds okay?" He said.

Once they got there Brooklyn picked up Benjamin from the backseat and thankfully all he did was curl up to her in her arms and didn't wake up. The last thing she needed at the moment was for him to wake up and start crying again. She grabbed her bag from the car as well, slinging it over a shoulder as she then followed Cameron over towards the ship. It looked amazing in the moonlight and the sight of the ship did make her excited about starting her new job in the morning. It had been awhile since she had worked and Brooklyn was looking forward to getting back into it as well as earning some of her own money so she wasn't as reliant on Cameron.

As they walked through the ship Brooklyn noticed that Cameron was becoming more and more distracted by their surroundings and they certainly were not just going to the suite and getting into bed. She called out to him in a hushed tone to get him to hurry up which he seemed to do without too much trouble. Brooklyn knew he was excited as well but she knew that they needed to get the boys into bed before they woke up so that they would settle and not start crying again.

When they finally reached the room she let her bag fall off her shoulder in the living room and followed Cameron into the boys room. It was all set up with the basics which was good and Brooklyn placed Benjamin down into one of the cots before kissing him goodnight. The little boy didn't even stir as he continued to sleep. She then walked out of the room after seeing that Cameron had but Joshua in the other bed and that he was settled. Hopefully the two of them would sleep through the night.

"That sounds fine with me. I can come and collect them from you when I am finished if you have more work to do or people to go and greet" Brooklyn knew that if there was someone important on the ship then it was Cameron's job to personally go and greet them. Taking two fussy babies probably wouldn't be a good idea when doing that.

"Alright, there's not too much to do, so we'll catch up mid-afternoon." He said leaning in kissing her softly and heading for the bedroom. He got some clothes and went into the shower. He had to get up early and wanted to get it over with. When he finished he came out, crawling into bed, kissing Brooklyn again and going to sleep after setting his alarm. He couldn't wait for the morning and for people to be aboard the ship.

Cameron was up early, barely able to sleep with excitement. He went to the gym on board and was back before Brooklyn or the boys were awake. He took a shower and got dressed in some shorts and leather flip flops, with a nice polo shirt. Luckily he could wear whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. He got the boys when they wake up and let Brooklyn sleep in until about 9AM. The boys were dressed, and ready for the day. Cameron left them playing and went into the bedroom, "Brooklyn, baby... it's 9 o'clock. I was thinking we could get some breakfast before we have to go for the day.

Instead of showering Brooklyn began to unpack the small bag which they had brought onto the ship with them. She knew she would have to unpack the rest tomorrow afternoon once they were delivered but that wasn't a big deal, at least she had started. By the time Cameron got out of the shower she had already unpacked their things and got changed into her nightgown. Lying in bed she cuddled up to him before she fell asleep.

Brooklyn simply groaned when she felt Cameron get out of bed as the weight shifted. She didn't wake up and instead continued to sleep right through until Cameron came back in at nine and gently touched her shoulder to wake her up. Brooklyn sighed as her eyes opened and she smiled up at him. Just looking up into his eyes she could tell that he was excited. Today was a big day and she was excited too... a little nervous but excited as well. Brooklyn knew that

"Mmmm.... breakfast sounds good but maybe you could join me in here for a little bit?" She teased as she reached up, her fingers holding onto his shirt as she tried to draw him down on top of her. Brooklyn knew that they both had things to do but she didn't need to start work for two hours and there was plenty of time for them to have a little bit of fun before they had to go.

"Don't tease." He said climbing into bed and leaning over the top of her kissing softly, fooling around a bit with her until he started to get hot and bothered. He stopped himself and kissed her once more. "We've got to get breakfast and get going." He smiled climbing off of her and heading back out into the living room adjusting his clothes and playing with the boys while he waited. He was excited for the day there was no doubt about that.

Finally they headed to the breakfast area and got some food with the boys. Cameron helped clean them up after and looked at his watch, "I guess I'll see you later?" He said leaning in kissing her, holding the boys. He talked to them, "Say bye to Mommy. Bye Bye." The boys both waved and he smiled, "We'll see you soon." He said walking towards one of the upper decks to get some things done. He got a lot done surprisingly with the boys and welcomed everyone he needed to on the ship. A lot of the guests were really happy to see them and Cameron happy.

Brooklyn's shift was easy and she didn't have much to do. Finally, she got off of her shift and Cameron was in his main office playing with the boys half listening to Hilary ramble about a bunch of things.

"We will finish this later..." Brooklyn whispered to Cameron as he got up out of bed leaving her there, breathing heavily as she had become quite excited with all their fooling around. She then proceeded to get out of bed, get showered and then get dressed into her uniform. It was a really nice outfit with a tight short black skirt, stockings and a white short sleeved blouse. For Brooklyn though the best part of the outfit was the black heels she got to wear. It had been ages since she had been able to wear a pair and for her this was exciting.

After breakfast she kissed the boys and Cameron goodbye before heading off to greet the guests. It was easy and came naturally to Brooklyn as she had always been good with people. Everyone was so nice, both staff and guests. She was a little worn out by the end of the shift and later in the afternoon once she was done Brooklyn headed in search of Cameron. She assumed he would be in his office so that was where she headed first. More than anything she was looking forward to seeing both Benjamin and Joshua, havingmissed them a lot during her shift especially when she had been greeting guests who had children.

Knocking softly on the office door, Brooklyn opened the door and stepped inside to see Cameron playing with the boys and Hilary standing there reading things off of a list. Brooklyn still wasn't very comfortable with the woman and had been hoping she wouldn't be around. "Hey... how are my two little boys?" Brooklyn said as she crossed the room to give both of them a kiss on their foreheads as she smiled at Cameron.

Cameron was happy to see Brooklyn come into his office and as she moved across the room he smiled. Hilary had paused and seemed somewhat annoyed at the interruption but Cameron didn't care. "Hil, give us a minute we'll finish after." He said standing up crossing the room and kissing Brooklyn on the cheek wrapping his arms around her. He was happy that his day was almost over and that he would be able to enjoy the night with Brooklyn and the boys.

He spent a few minutes with her and the boys and then Hilary came back in waiting impatiently. He rolled his eyes and looked at Brooklyn. "Babe.. I will catch up with you in a little bit. If you and the boys need anything call down here I'll give authorization." He said helping Brooklyn get the boys things together and get them on their way before Hilary had a fit. He kissed Brooklyn again, "I'll see you soon."

He continued on with his work with Hilary getting what he needed done within about two hours. He headed back to the suite to find Brooklyn and the boys but they weren't there so he decided on a walk to find them.

When Cameron wrapped his arms around her she smiled. "Hey.." She whispered leaning back into his arms and kissing his chin gently. She loved having his arms around her and she had missed him during the day. Brooklyn also still hadn't forgoten what they had been doing that morning and was keen to continue this afternoon once the boys were in bed. Most of her attention was on the boys however who were happy to see her.

Brooklyn shot a glance over at Hilary when she reappeared and noticed the annoyance on her face. She really disliked that woman and made a mental note to talk to Ca,eron about it later. She hadn't even greeted her when she had walked in and Brooklyn didn't like the way that she looked at her. Whether she liked her or not when Brooklyn wasn't working she was Cameron's girlfriend and the mother of his children, Hilary should be able to respect that. Ever since she had returned the woman had looked at her with nothing but annoyance and it was getting to Brooklyn.

"Oh okay then..." Brooklyn said as Cameron began to usher her out of the office. She put the boys in the pram so that she wouldn't have to carry the both of them as she pushed it out of the room. "I'll see you later then" She said with a smile, not even looking at Hilary as she walked past her. As she reached the hallway she looked down at the boys. "So what are we going to do while Daddy works huh?" She said to them. After a few moments she decided to take them to the kids playground where they could play with the toys or draw at the small tables. Brooklyn wasn't in the mood to take them swimming by herself since she would have to get them changed, put sunscreen on and then watch both of them in the water. It was too stressful. So pushing the pram she headed to the play area on the forth floor.

Once she arrived Benjamin instantly moved over to the table and picked up a pencil to draw while Joshua went to play with the trains. She smiled and set the pram to the side as she sat next to Benjamin to help him colour in. Joshua was happy and interacting with the other children and for Brooklyn it was a nice relaxing way to spend the afternoon.

Cameron's first thought was the pools but once he checked some of them and didn't find her he was sort of stumped. He thought maybe they got hungry so he headed up to the food area but didn't find them either. He didn't know where else to look then it dawned on him and he wanted to smack himself for not thinking of it sooner. He headed to the specific children's area that was on the ship and noticed them immediately but was cut off from entering hearing his cell phone ring. He groaned and answered quickly as he entered and caught Brooklyn's eye. He pointed at his phone as he leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Hello? Yes. Yes. Hilary I told you I'm done for the day, unless there's a fire, a death or the ship is sinking I'll see you in the morning." He hung up and smiled, "Hey.. sorry."

He sat down next to her and looked over the picture her and Benjamin were coloring. There were kids running around everywhere and he looked around, "Where's our oth--." He stopped when he finally saw Joshua and moved over to him playing with the Trains. "Hey Buddy. Can Daddy Play?" He sat with his son, playing with the trains making noises and laughing. A few of the girls working were whispering about that being Cameron and his family and to make sure they were on their best behavior etc and he heard giving them a knowing look.

A few seconds later he saw Hilary barreling towards the play area, "Cameron.. before you even stop me.. we've got to get this done before morning. You can't just be available at all hours one minute and expect to work 8 hours on your next cruise. You've either got to hire an assistant or be available." Cameron was kind of ticked off and left Joshua who began to scream for Cameron. He led Hilary to the outside of the play area and spoke to her quietly, then Brooklyn heard his voice raising, "Well what the hell do I pay you for Hilary? Last I checked your title on the payroll is assistant. If you can't do your job maybe I should hold some interviews in 13 days when this cruise is over." Hilary was visibly upset for the first time Brooklyn had seen or Cameron had seen but he was too ticked off to care. "You have 5 minutes with me before I am spending the evening with my family. Now what is so important?" He asked. Hilary was so flustered she couldn't even get herself together, "Nothing Cameron. I'm sorry for interrupting you." She walked off getting herself together.

Cameron took another minute to calm down and walked back into the area where Joshua was still crying. He walked over taking him from Brooklyn and held him against his chest, "Relax buddy, I'm right here." He looked up at Brooklyn and smiled, "Let's go put them down for a nap." He got their things together and carried Joshua back while Benjamin rode in the pram happy as could be playing with a block he managed to sneak out of the area. They got the boys down relatively easy when they got back to the suite. Cameron shut his phone off setting it on the counter and went into the bedroom, pulling off his shirt and climbing into their bed. "Baby... come here please." He pulled Brooklyn on top of him when she came into the room and smirked, "I've been waiting all day to get you back in bed."

As she was sitting there Brooklyn looked up glanced across to the windows and saw Cameron standing there. She smiled at him thinking how attractive he looked standing there but frowning a little at the sight of his phone. It was the one thing that Brooklyn wished was different, that he didn’t have to work and could spend time with her and the boys all the time. However Brooklyn knew that this wasn’t ever going to happen and that he had a job to do. Cameron’s life was connected to his work and Brooklyn respected that as much as she wished it was different.

As he kissed her and pointed to his phone, Brooklyn nodded her head a little. “It’s fine...” She whispered to him. She was about to answer his question about where Joshua was when he spotted him. Brooklyn grinned as she watched Cameron play with Joshua before her attention was drawn back to Benjamin as he drew on her hand. Brooklyn giggled as she tickled her son however she paused when she saw Hilary walk into the room. A frown settled on her lips and watched how Cameron walked outside with her. He didn’t look happy at all and Brooklyn tried to ignore it as she got up and walked over to Joshua who was screaming for her father. She tried to calm him while she could hear Cameron yelling. It made her feel uncomfortable since she hadn’t heard him get angry like that before.

When he came back she smiled a little at him as she handed him Joshua. “Sure... I think Joshua could do with a sleep” Brooklyn said as she kissed Cameron’s cheek. She walked back to the room with him and both of the boys went down easily and as she was about to get herself a drink she heard Cameron calling her from the bedroom. “What’s u...” Brooklyn said as she found herself being pulled down on top of him on the bed. “Mmm... well you were the one who left me in bed this morning. I never wanted to get out” Brooklyn said as she kissed him deeply with a playful grin. Her hands moved down to her blouse and began to unbutton it.

Cameron was getting excited himself easily even though the fight he'd had with Hilary was still in the back of his mind. He hated yelling at people and Hilary had looked visibly upset. He also knew that he had said a few things he regretted. He tried to push it to the back of his mind as Brooklyn leaned over him her top now unbuttoned but finally threw his hands but, "Brooklyn.. I'm sorry. Wait wait.." He stopped himself and pulled her shirt shut in the front and looked up at her, "Do you think I was too hard on Hilary? I didn't mean to be that harsh.. and she is the best assistant I've ever had... I have been around a lot less then I used to..." He said now completely killing his mood about what was going to happen between the two of them.

"I'm sorry... I just.. I feel horrible and I can't get it out of my head." He said holding her waist with one hand and her shirt shut with another so that he could concentrate.

Brooklyn was caught off guard when Cameron told her to stop, especially since he was the one who had started this. She stopped and listened to him as he spoke, a confused expression on her face. "I'm taking my shirt off... and you are thinking about Hilary?" Brooklyn said looking a little hurt as she sighed and slid off of his lap. Her hands moved to her shirt and she began to button it back up since he clearly wasn't interested in what was underneath the fabric. She had wanted to talk to him about Hilary but not right at this moment when the two of them were about to become intimate.

"Cameron she wasn't listening to you and she wasn't respecting you having time off... you had explained it nicely to her previous to yelling at her so you were justified in yelling... I mean she did look upset and I know she is more than an employee to you so as her friend it might have been a little too much" Brooklyn said in a quiet voice. "I actually wanted to talk to you about Hilary though. I mean it's clear that she doesn't like me or the boys and it makes me feel uncomfortable when she doesn't even smile or say hello when I enter a room..." Brooklyn said tentitivly. She just wanted to talk to him and not start an arguement.

Cameron felt really guilty that he had ruined the moment between them but he couldn't help feel bad about what had happened earlier. He was also a little shocked that is how Brooklyn was feeling about Hilary. "That.. That's just how Hilary is Brooklyn. You know her." He defended Hilary instantly and then thought about it for a few seconds, "No.. You know what? Like it or not.. I plan to make you my wife some day and those are my kids. She should be treating you with the same respect she is treating me with." He said sitting up more. "I guess tomorrow Hilary and I are going to have to have a talk about a few things because at this rate, she will no longer be a part of our staff very shortly. "Will you be there?" he asked knowing that soon enough he planned to marry Brooklyn and he'd hoped that she would be by his side running the cruise line as his mother had been with his father. "Please?"

Brooklyn's mouth dropped open when Cameron began to defend Hilary. He should be taking her side with this but as she went to pull away from him she heard him correcting himself and she stayed where she was. Brooklyn was glad he had changed his mind but certainly was a little upset to begin with that he had chosen his assistant over her. She didn't say anything and continued to listen to him, being surprised at the way he spoke about making her his wife. It was something they had never discussed before and Brooklyn wasn't sure how she felt about it. They had only just got back together and she didn't want to rush into anything, especially not a marriage.

"Do you really think that is a good idea? I mean if you want me to then I will be, I just dont want to cause any trouble if it is better for just you two to talk" She said as he asked her to be there. If Cameron wanted her there then she wouldn't let him down, Brooklyn just wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do.

"Cameron I dont want you to fire Hilary... she has been with you for years and is one of your closest friends, not to mention she has done a pretty good job over the years from the way you have spoken about her in the past" Brooklyn said with a sigh. She certainly didn't want to be responsible for Hilary loosing her job. "I just dont want myself or the boys treated like some temperary burden in your life that can be ignored. I know Hilary doesn't like me, and she doesn't have to... I just want the two of us to be able to be civil to one another" Brooklyn said as she stretched a little. She wasn't in the mood at all now.

Cameron opened his arms for her hoping she'd cuddle back up with him and thought about his words carefully, "No, I know. I don't have any intentions to fire her but even though she is a good friend, and she does a good job she needs to know that I am still her boss and that you are now a significant part of my life. You're not going anywhere any time soon and the boys certainly aren't and she is going to have to accept that. " He said knowing that e had to do something to make sure everyone in his life was happy - that's just who Cameron was.

"I'm sorry... I know we were in the mood and I ruined it. Don't be mad at me." He said leaning in kissing Brooklyn's forehead. "I'm sorry."

As Cameron opened his arms Brooklyn moved in closer to him, cuddling up against his chest. She loved having his arms around her as it made her feel safe and loved, something which she had gone without feeling for so long. Brooklyn had no idea how she would ever cope being away from Cameron again. She smiled when he mentioned that both her and the boys were going to be around for awhile as it enhanced the security she felt with Cameron. For Brooklyn there was a lot of trust to gain back from him with how quickly he had pushed her out of his life, part of her was still scared that if he had done it once then he could do it again.

"It's okay, there is nothing to be sorry about... You had things on your mind and I will always be here to listen and help where I can" She said kissing him softly as she rested. As amazing as it would have been had they continued, Brooklyn was glad that they had spoken about all of this. "Plus, you just wait until next time when I tie you to the bed so there wont be any interuptions" Brooklyn teased.

He laughed, "don't make promises you won't keep." He kissed the side of her forehead and put his shirt back on. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful with not too much going on. Cameron had a few phone calls he had to answer, and they'd went and had dinner but that was it. It rolled around to the boys' bed time and Cameron was beat too. It had been a long day. He helped Brooklyn get the boys in bed, which was surprisingly easy and headed into their bedroom, "I'm going to take a shower." He kissed her softly and headed in coming out and crawling into bed, relaxing. It was only a few minutes of watching sports center before he was passed out.

He woke up the next morning and got dressed for the day, wearing some nice shorts and a polo shirt with some flip flops getting the boys fed. He let Brooklyn get dressed and ready for her morning, "So around 12:30 I'll have Hilary meet me in my office." He said calling out to her as he typed the email to Hilary. Hil, don't need you for the morning. Please be in my office at 12:30 for a meeting. Cam. He figured he needed a cool head for the morning and then they'd have the meeting that needed to be had. He had no intention of being angry at all but who knew with his temper.

The morning went smoothly, Cameron moving about the ship with the boys, still not having a ton going on yet since it was only the second day. He signed a few papers, returned emails and what not waiting for Brooklyn to get off duty at 11:30. He text her when she did and said he was in his office. When she got there he kissed her softly, "Mmm hi I missed you today." He said as the boys whined for her attention. He laughed, "Alright Alright boys, you can have her." They walked to get a quick lunch, and left the boys in the play area with the workers, heading back for his office.

"Hil.. come on in." He said when they got back. Hilary looked a wreck and like she'd been crying all morning. Cameron sat in the seating area to make the meeting less formal. "Alright..." he said. "I know you're not going to like it but Brooklyn's sitting in with me because she has some concerns too." Hilary didn't say anything. Cameron continued, "First things first, my schedule is now 8-5. I will only be in the office 9-3 and the rest I expect that you should be able to handle. I will not be reachable unless it's an extreme emergency after 5pm. Do you need me to hire another assistant to help you?" He asked and Hilary looked at the ground, "No Sir." She said.

Usually, Hilary was bubbly, kind, caring, now she just seemed defeated and hurt by what was going on. "Are you sure?" Cameron asked not really caring about feelings at the moment. Hilary nodded, "Yes." He nodded, "Alright. Secondly, I need you to start respecting Brooklyn like you respect me. I understand that you have been witness to the past and may not like her because of those actions but She is the mother of my children. She is going to be around for a while." Hilary started to defend herself and Cameron held his hand up, "It's fine, what's in the past is in the past but from here on out I expect respect for her and the boys. Now, do you have any concerns you need to address?" Hilary shook her head no and relaxed as it seemed like the meeting was over.

Cameron had been stern, and hardened. He wasn't his normal self and Brooklyn had never seen him like that. He wasn't mean, just very authoritative. "Good, We have a lot to get done before 3." He said standing up. "Brooklyn, I'll see you then." He said kissing her cheek softly and heading over to his desk. Hilary took a second to get herself together and stood up "Have a good day Brooklyn." She said flashing a small smile then following Cameron.
