So begins...
Yukiko frowned somewhat as she adjusted her silken kimono whilst sitting in the conference room of the ship where the Tripartite negotiations were to take place. However it was more thne tripartite, as Shogun Jyunichi Hakuro was also in the room, he was a large, well built man wearing traditional Taiyou yukata, his head was shaven, and sheathed on his back was a katana, on his chest bore the emblem of his Shogunate, a stylized golden dragon.
Besides Hakuro were two Imperial warriors, both of them had crisp white body armor, trimmed with tan uniforms, and helmets resembling samurai helmets, including the stylized horns, plated in gold. They stood with nanosecond precision behind the Shogun. Sitting besides Hakuro was a young woman. Her hair was frazzled and her attire was a traditional outfit, yet it met futuristic, Standing behind her was a woman in some sort of combat armor, yet it seemed more for looks then function. The last Taiyou individual was a middle aged man, sporting a small beard, he was guarded by what seemed to be a young schoolgirl, whom stood there staring off into space.
After a moment Yukiko spoke up. "Shogun Shirada... These Scatterans take their time... I grow impatient."
"Your Majesty... the Aschen Delegation will arrive with them shortly, and we can begin."
Yukiko remained entirely silent as she stared at the man before her, fists clenching under the table as she turned to Nagama. "Korera no gaikoku-jin yaban-jin no ken'o-kan o watashi wa, sorera subete no." Nagama simply nodded slowly. "Heiwa ga yuiitsu no sentakushideari, watashi-tachi wa heiwa o tsukurunaraba, wareware wa yori senryaku, heika ni shūchū suru koto ga dekimasu, eien ni tatakau koto wa dekimasen." He added as the Empress made a face, then nodded. "Anata no chie... Fukaidesu." She then slowly raised to face the Prime Minister and his contingent. "I am so very honored to meet you." She said, her accent was barely a hint, but there. "I hope that much can be accomplished, and a thousand years of peace attained."
Yukiko was silent for a long while. Gritting her teeth almost once everyone was sat down. "The Empire agrees to these terms... but we want to claim a small portion as an outpost to allow the secure movement of all Taiyou goods and personnel.. my Shogunate here will agree." She said flatly, Shogun Nagama nodding.
"With this unidentified threat... we cannot stand to remain divided and fighting amongst ourselves... if we operate in harmony, then we can crush anything that threatens this galaxy, our galaxy, and all allies to this Tripartite alliance."
Yukiko read the document for a moment and nodded. "So the planet will be safe for everyone.. it will also deter your enemy, Red Halo from setting up shop... and ensure continued harmony... I will sign, and commit forces to the Tripartite Alliance, and I will also commit the forces of Shogun Nagama here, to repel the invasion of the unknown forces." With a pen stroke, Yukiko's name was on the document, as was Shirada's and Nagama's.
Yukiko offered a nod. "Unfortunately there's only one functional hyperspace gate, so I can't exactly... be all wooo tsunami... and all that crap." She said as she dug into her meal.
"The forces of Two Shoguns will likely not be enough to combat this new scourge, but the Empire can offer asylum if the tide is too great." She explained, as both Shoguns nodded, then Shirada spoke. "Make that three shoguns." She said with a smile. "I am sure Shogun Kenji, and Shogun Ryu will agree with me, I am sure they'll be all in."
"We'll need additional Hyperspace Gates to commit forces here as well." Yukiko explained, garnering nods from both Shoguns. "Director Miyagi will also want a crack at the Calsites."
Yukiko nodded. "It explains why the Empire managed to enter this galaxy unchallenged." She said as she turned to Baltar. Then she turned back to the General. "Our Hadron Cannon... if we can get it assembled in this galaxy, we can have it orbit key entry points, it's weapon is unmatched, working on principal of imploding the target on the atomic level by generating a small black hole... though, for your arrays, how would we activate them?"
