Personality: She is calculated and clever. There is a lightheartedness to her that is often seen away from any action. The part of her in action is calculated and guarded, knowing that risks are being taken and what can happen. She tries not to let it always get to her, but it does.

Background: She was born to noble parents. Ever since she could walk, her mother did her best to raise her as a proper lady. When her mother died when she was six, her father tried to continue with the lessons. However, the young Robin managed to convince her father for other lessons as well, lessons in the secret of their backyard. Her father taught her how to use a bow and fight with a sword. It helped her father feel brighten up and not feel the loss of his wife so much while bonding with his daughter. At such a young age, and with her father maintaining steady business, few ever actually saw Robin. Most of the time, they would simply see the joy in the eyes of her father when he brought her up. Her father gathered the few servants they had maintained and made them promise not to reveal to anyone that Robin was indeed a girl. He knew the laws would not allow her to inherit until she was married. He couldn't bear the thought of his daughter on the streets. So the secret began and at the age of 12, Robin became an orphan.

With the servants as her friends and guides, she continued the lessons her father had taught her. She learned also about the ways of being a proper lady and how she was supposed to act whenever she was to venture outside, though it would be years before she would do so. When she turned 17, under an assumed name of a cousin who lived with the family, Alex Lovell she began to get involved in the world of politics that nobles are required to be apart. Alex would act on the behalf of Robin, as far as anyone was concerned. If anyone pushed the question, it was a matter of family business and Robin was busy managing the estate. It took some getting used to, but the council of nobles accepted Alex as emissary.

Then the Crusades began. The men were taken off to fight the war with King Richard and Robin was called to be among the men. She had no fear but the fear of discovery that she was not a man. With the aid of her personal servant, Robin's hair was cut in the style of a man. She learned to wrap her body to appear as a man, how to speak like a man, and how to dress as one. It took a month of preparation and then she was off to fight the war. She was careful of being injured, for that meant the physician, who would surely discover her secret. However, she climbed the ranks and soon fought alongside King Richard. 3 years had passed and one night, during an ambush, alone with the King, she was injured. He discovered her secret, but he did not meet her with anger. Instead, he heard out her story of survival, and she had saved his life. As a means to repay the debt of his life so many times saved, he told her he would keep her secret and guard it. He brought a personal physician of his to aid her healing. However, the wound on her stomach was deep and would take months. She was sent home. Rumors of Robin had spread across the country for her valor, only it was described as his.

When Robin returned home, she found she was out of her home. Still dressed as a man and recovering, Robin discovered that Guy of Gisbourne had been given her title and estate. She was welcome to property under the control of Guy, but not allowed to resume her title. It was the first crack in the system soon followed by others that led Robin to act against Sir Guy of Gisbourne and the Sheriff of Notthingham and so harshly against Prince John. She took residence in Sherwood forest, just outside of her old home where she had played for years. Joined by others, Robin Hood began as Robin Lovell seemed to be out of the minds of the people. Now, fully recovered, the fight at home continues.

So begins...
