Letter "L"
Dialogue Color: #00BFDF
She woke to the cold clinging to her skin, her lungs coughing up the bit of water they had collected from the tide as she lay just in the water. The salty liquid made her eyes sting as she blinked and her lungs scream as she breathed, but she was more worried about the cold. Her vision was clearing and, as she stumbled to a standing position with her arms around herself, she moved towards the first light she saw. Her teeth chattered and she shivered as she neared the fire, her ears just catching bits of conversation as she hesitated before stumbling closer. Finally, she dropped to the ground near the welcoming flames and began trying to warm herself. She bit her lip and cast a few glances around at the strangers before getting herself to get out a soft-voiced greeting.
"Hello."Her clothing was water-soaked and heavy, as well as the cause of most of her chill now. Her hair was wet too, though mostly towards the bottom, and drying sand clung to where ever the water was... which was nearly everywhere. It was worse on the clothes. Quietly, she began brushing the sand off the best she could and sighed. She was becoming more awake, and the more awake she became the more she thought, and the more she thought... the more worried she became. She could remember nothing. Not her name, not her age, not where she came from, or where her parents were... memories were gone, completey gone, and it left an empty feeling in the back of her head.
"So... I'm guessing you guys already went through asking if nobody knows anything?" She spoke to no one in particular, she was more distracted by wiping sand from her wrist and finding a letter there in ink. "L". How strange. How odd indeed.
