β™₯ This is my life:

Raised in a poor family and on top of it, being the oldest one, she had to be independent very soon. She never excepted her life to be 'poor'. And she fight against it. She quickly became a economical girl, never spend money on useless things like games and toys. She hates it if her little sisters beg her for all those things, being jealous with their friends who has it. She even endured to make her dream come true: being an actress. There wer plently chances for her, she could join a theater club. In her school before, there was one. A quite famous and wanted one on top of it. But she endured. She had to be by her little sisters side, care for them, cook for them and looking for the house. Because her father wasn't there as she was 6 years old and so her mother did her best to find a job, and she found one, a very hard one that cost all of her time and strength.

Evee was always a diligent student, very tidy and composed. She even got selected to be the student council! But as she was 14 years old, she knew, that her mother and family needed her the most and she dropped out school. Still, she continued to learn, alone if she had time.

One day, as she was going shopping (it was sale's day and she didn't want to miss it of course) she saw an advertisement that catched her interest to the maximal: An advertisement for an audition to be an actress! She was tried to not taking it, but in the end she took it and placed it inside her little shopping bag.... Her mother found it. She knew her daughter interest very well, although Evee tried to hide it, but her mother saw the excitiment she had if she was looking a film, or from far away a theater. She always had something glowing in her eyes... was it desire?

That day, the mother sat with her on the tiny table in their tiny livingroom and spoke with her, saying she should try the audition. At first, she wanted to decline, but it didn't took long to make her agree and thank her mother very much. It was a chance. And she took that chance by heart and she was selected for her braviour acting. Yes, she really could cry fakely with pure heart. Her tears catched the judges heart and they took her into the industry.

But the happiness didn't last long. In the first commercial already, where she should act loving a boy, she had difficulties. The reasons for that were long ago. It was her dad. Her father. He neither die nor had a disease, as her mother said to her little sisters, who doesn't even remember his face anymore. He betrayed them. For a better life, for a better standard and for a richer woman. As she heard it from her mother (actually she forced her mother to tell her about him), she had difficulties to trust man/boys/guys whatever. She always scrutinize everything a man does, even her teachers from the past and the boys in her class.

And something like that was a fatal blow. She was beautful, some of the judges even bet with themselves that she would be the raising star for their industry someday. And romance was needed in almost everything. And if she couldn't express it, it would be very difficult for her in the entertainment industry. The plan: Sneaking her into the famous Beauchamp Academy. With her smarts she will suceed, that was sure. It was a perfect plan, a plan, making her fall in love in a boy there and so she could express the love the industry needed from her. And she had no other chance to stay in the entertainment industry, no other way. And she wanted it. She wanted it so bad. So she made her boss promise not letting her family know and care for them as she is gone. The boss agreed (it was a female boss by the way) and she knew that she could count on her boss, so the next day she cut her hair, faking a piercing and wore glasses. All for her disguise. Because she didn't know what the industry wanted her to do. They just said she should dusguise herself and go to an all boy school. But she didn't ask because they said they will take good care about her family, and that was the most important thing for her.

So like that, they gave her a fake name and fake passport, a fake biography and a not existing family. And send her to the famous academy.

β™₯ Sometimes I act like this:

She is a very stubborn girl and always had her objective in front of her, never loosing it. She really loved her family, so she learned to be responsible, calm and collected. She always fight for her family and not a girl who looks back. Smart but can be really fearful. She hated dark but she endured it. She usually endured everything, she had to endure everything. But if words touch her sensitive spots... well, she can loose herself and starting to attack the speaker with words, that are pretty much reasonable. She isn't a shy girl, she is confident and endures her nervousness with things as bubble gums. She never betrayed anyone. She always does things the rightful way. Scrutinize everything and always had her doubts. But if she isn't in her role, she really could be understanding. But she never were open to anybody that much. Always keeps everything for herself. Became used to it very soon.
Sometimes, she can be too straight forward. She doesn't laugh at any joke. She isn't too much like the other girls. She never went *Kyaaa* or something, but she do want to wear a beautiful dress, although she doesn't say it outloud. She is someone who endures if it's something that had to do with her family. But just to let you know: She can be really belligerent/agressive, but reasonable, sometimes.

β™₯ Other:
Her male appearance is like above, with the bandana from her mother and the fake piercing. Why the piercing? Although she is so calm and collected, seems to be very mature, she loves to see piercings, but never had the guts to tell her mother she wanted one.
For her fake name... she picked it by herself. She always wanted to have a 'X' in her name.

β™₯ Evee Arlandal β€’ Mallar Xaevos β™₯
Evee Arlandal, disguised as a boy with the fake name: Mallar Xaevos. Sended from the entertainment industry with the purpose to make her able to express 'love' clearly. She herself doesn't know their plans, but did it for her families sake. Would the plan of the industry suceed...?

❀ ❀ ❀

ImageIt took her time as she finally was aware where she exactly was. It was the place of her female boss. She began to remember why she was there... her hair. She couldn't explain her mother why she cut her hair, although she (her mother) knew that she loved them. It was hard to explain why she cut it... she couldn't really say the truth that she will disguise herself as a boy and sneak into an all- boys- school, could she? She couldn't let her mother know... it just make her insane of worry. So she decided to give her a vague explanation, telling her it was because of her dream being a future actress, she had to be away from the family for some long time. She sighed, scratching her head. It was more lighter then usual. She faintly smiled. It seems it had a positive side to it too, cutting her precious hair.

She looked around. Yes, she finished packing her things. Good. What lack was... her glance catched the bandana, the fake piercing, the purple glasses and some boy clothes above a table not far away from the bed. It was time to prepare herself. She got up, briefly showered. This will be the last time she showered without worries..., she could already imagine how difficult it will be to keep it a secret that she is a girl. But she had to. For her dream being an actress, she had to. Although she actually didn't understand what the purpose was.

Finishing the last preperation and regard herself proudly, expecially happy putting on the fake piercing and make sure it couldn't be pulled off easily, she grabbed a bubble gum and took one out. It wasn't good to eat one before the breakfast, but she was so nervous that she couldn't help but chewing one.

"Good morning, Mallar. Looking good." Her boss in the industry grinned at her gleeful. But although she showed herself like that, she was surprised how good she looked in the boy clothes that she herself provide from a very good designer, one of her many friends. Because if she wanted to go to that Academy, the clothes has to have class. The boss was very aware of that. "Already chewing a bubble gum? Come, eat first. Then I'll drop you in front of your new Academy." She just nodded obediently.

Her chewing sounds were getting louder and louder as they were nearing their destination. But her other parts of body remain silent, was tried to calm herself down, enjoying the music that were coming out of the radio. They finally arrived. The car stopped in front of the huge entrance. Such a big house... Evee never saw such a big house ever. She was surprised and looked to her boss who was driving the car. "Who is going to pay my stay?" She asked cocerned and frowned. "Haha, like always, money comes first, hmm? Don't worry about such little things and try to enjoy your stay, will you? It will make the one who spend their money for you happy too."

Enjoy? How could she enjoy things if she is surrounded by many man who she couldn't trust? But she said yes as an answer and now she was standing in front of the huge building, dragging her suitcase with her, a bit lost what to do next. Then she finally took a long breath and entered the beautiful (and expensive) hall. Lost, where to go next and didn't saw anyone she could ask, she put out a small paper. Dorm Two 'A'. After going around asking and getting her key, she found her doorm in the second floor, finally. She was a bit shocked at first that she would share a room with another one... a guy. It seems to be more difficult to hide her gender. She felt a bit heavy... but her face was still calm, busy chewing a bubble gum. The third one already for today. Yes, her nervousness was not as usual.

She stopped in front of the huge door which seem to be the Dorm Two 'A' she was looking for. She just hoped... she just hoped... that she was the first one to enter. And with that in mind, she opened the door with the key and found the room still empty. She sighed, relieved and closed the door behind her again. It was time to unpack her things and put it everything inside the places they belong to.

The furniture... the atmosphere... everything was so different. Even the scent. Strange. She never was gone from her house, now going out of her house for the first time (not including the night at her boss house) she had to sleep in an all- boys- academy? She shook of her thoughts, her worries. She just had to not getting caught. Yes, that was her first priority being here. Somehow, she was pumped up at the challenge. She tried a smile and then finally she put in every single clothes inside the wardrobe, putting out the things she needed for school on the desk on her side of the room, away from the given window and the other things she hide inside her suitcase, pushing it beneath her new bed, slumped herself on it and stared on the ceiling. But it didn't took long as she took out a small handphone from the entertainment industry and played a song from it, randomly choosing one. The fate chose 'If I were a Boy' from Beyonce and she closed her eyes.

She is a boy. She calls herself Mallar Xaevos, from a rich family that is far away from here. Yes, play your role Evee. That is something you can the best right? She chewed her bubble gum, the forth one for today and was ready for someone to come in, her roommate to come in and act as normal as possible. Acting as a boy. Something that she never tried before. Indeed, she was very excited, but still was nervous. The music played, she layed on the bed and countless time she glanced to the door. Normal. Act normal. That's her objective for today.

_____::Alias | Dataro Nagano::
_____::"I don't want to go."::
______β™ β™ β™

The young woman was eerily quiet throughout the car ride. The ride had seemed to stretch on for an eternity, it seemed, in the silence. Her parents, too, had long since fallen quiet. However deafening it was, the silence was absolutely necessary to maintain the peace in the car. For the parents had sensed their oldest child's mood. It was one of anxiety, of absolute fright, and yet, there was hope in there, too. The overall atmosphere in the vehicle was nearly crackling with tension because of this, of course. Despite this, though, it would have been safe to say that the parents were actually in quite a good mood at that moment. They were happy for their daughter, more so than even she would ever be able to understand. They had the highest of hopes for her, and a good feeling that this school was the one that would help her succeed. But they were also feeling a twinge of fear also, something they could not help. And how could they not, after she had been kicked out of or rejected from all of the others? They knew that their daughter was at least a little bit uncomfortable (they had no idea) with having to take such drastic measures, but her parents were certain that this was the only route to take. They didn't bust their behinds to come to this country so that their daughter could be overlooked or cast aside, after all. All the more reason for this school to prove to be The One.

The only one in the car who was not silent was also the youngest: Kentaro, who had just turned a whopping eight years old. And what a shame it was that he wasn't hushed like his parents and sister, because he was starting to disturb the peace of the close-knit vehicle. He was not happy at all about his sister going away, and he made sure that everyone knew it. He sat in the back seat, arms crossed and constantly complaining. The volume of his voice seemed to grow the closer they drew to their destination, which certainly didn't help matters. And when they actually reached the school? Well...

Damara slipped from the car as fast as she could, closing the door behind her in all swiftness so as to prevent her brother's wailing from being heard by the rest of the world. She moved around back and opened the trunk to get her other items, and over her brother's crying, she heard her father ask if she wanted help moving in at all, using her alias name for the first time in his inquiry. She shook her head as she pulled the wheeled suitcase from the vehicle and closed the door, damn near slamming it in her nervous state. She wheeled it onto the sidewalk, messenger bag hanging from one shoulder. Damara did not look back. Goodbyes had been said at home, and they had been brief; this was out of habit, because, well, everyone had just subconsciously assumed that she would not be gone for long.

She entered the building, knuckles white from gripping her suitcase handle so hard. Damara had probably never been this nervous in her entire life. She was shaking, her teeth were chattering and everything. This had been a very bad idea. She did not want to be there, she decided as she cautiously approached the front desk. As she stated her name and other information, voice tight with anxiety, Damara decided that she did not like her alias, "Dataro", either. As she slowly found her way to her dorm room's location- One A- she decided that it probably would have been a better idea to find another school, one where it wouldn't have mattered that she was a girl. Here, she would have to assume a different identity altogether. She would have to be a boy, and she had a feeling that that task, though necessary, would be much more difficult than it sounded. Vaguely, she registered that she had to use the Little Girls' Room. When she remembered that there was no "Little Girls' Room", and there never would be, she visibly cringed. The more she thought about having to live here to receive the rest of her education, the more Damara wanted out of this sorry deal.

She reached her room, and she pursed her lips as she came to a halt in front of it. This was where she was going to reside for the foreseeable future. Her hand shook as she unlocked the door with the key she'd been given at the desk (it took several tries for her to get it in the blasted hole). Damara took a deep breath, turned the knob, and pushed open the door.

The first thing she noticed was the other human being that occupied the room, which had probably been for the best. If she'd seen him at the last minute or something, she probably would have reacted with surprise rather than pure anxiousness. Teeth gritted and face pale in apprehension, Damara unconsciously gripped her messenger bag and clutched it to her chest, as though it were some sort of shield. Warily, she looked the person over. He was blonde-haired, and altogether looked like a pretty decent person. He had a laptop out, and Damara could hear little sound effects coming from his headphones. The question: how to go about this encounter? Damara scanned her mind for ideas. She could pretend not to speak English! No, that was stupid. She could pretend to have some sort of disease! Also stupid. She could... She could make friends with this person?

...Not so stupid.

This is your chance! she yelled at herself. Speak! There was no way she was passing up this opportunity to make a friend, terrifying as the whole situation was.

"He-Hello," she stammered quietly. "My name is Da-" Damara stopped herself just in time to remember that she had an alias. "My name is Dataro. W-What's yours?"

_____::"Hey."::
_____β™‹β™‹β™‹

Hunter Davis was pissed off. But then again, this was hardly anything new for him. Anger was normal. Anger was him, for the most part, and most people didn't seem to realize that, if there was nothing he could do to change that fact, than there sure as hell wasn't anything they could do about it. He would've guessed that his parents of all people, though, would have been an exception. Wrong. If they hadn't figured out after nineteen years that the best thing they could've done for his condition was nothing, then they probably never would.

He fumed the whole way to the school. He would've driven himself, but he'd recently had his license revoked on account of his road rage. He'd rear-ended this one guy for going so damn slow, and that had been all she wrote. Needless to say, his parents had been very, very displeased with him. Hunter Davis was, too. His license had gotten taken away. Of course he was mad! But he didn't see why they had to be so peeved. It wasn't them that lost their license. Parents just didn't understand much of anything, it seemed.

As they drove, Hunter Davis was finding it very difficult not to just show his parents how angry he was. He would have, except he hadn't taken his medicine that morning like he said he did (yeah... he never actually took it anymore), and he currently had to act like he had taken the foul stuff. Otherwise, he was pretty sure he would've busted a window to pieces about twenty minutes ago. His parents didn't seem to notice his inner struggle to keep from flipping out, and that was alright with him.

When his father pulled the car up to the school, Hunter Davis was out of the car, suitcase gripped by the handle and all, before the tires had completely stopped moving. He didn't want to say goodbye to them, and this was something he'd decided when he found out he was going. They could sit there in that damn car waiting for him to turn around all they wanted to, but he wouldn't do it. Why? Well, he'd never admit it, but saying goodbye to his parents always got him so... so emotional. He hated it. It made him look like a baby and he hated it. He was a man, damn it! Men didn't cry because they were being separated from their parents. Girls did that. Men didn't. Knowing my luck, he thought ruefully as he entered the impressive building, I'll be back home by the end of the goddam week.

After receiving his room key and map from the front desk, Hunter Davis found that his dorm number brought back some memories. He'd gone to a boarding school once, during his freshman year of high school, and he'd gotten dorm A-2, similar to the number he had now. Hunter Davis narrowed his eyes. He remembered that school. He'd broken his roommate's nose after only a month. Good times.

He didn't come to a complete stop at the door to his room. Rather, he inserted the key, turned it, and pushed open the door so fluidly that he didn't have to stop walking, which was a good thing. Petty things like stopping to unlock doors bothered him. Bothering Hunter Davis was never really a good thing. Especially if you were a fragile little door.

Upon entering, the first thing he did was toss his suitcase on the empty bed. The second thing he did was notice that there was another bed. The third thing he did was notice that there was a person on this other bed. His roommate. The guy looked pretty easy-going. A little skinny, sure, but all-in-all decent. Hunter Davis shoved his hands in his pockets and looked at the boy for a few moments before speaking.

"Hey," he said a bit loudly, wanting to make sure he was heard. "'Sup? Name's Hunter Davis. The hell are you?" He mentally winced once he processed what he'd just said. Oh well. He could have (and has in the past) said much, much worse.

❀ ❀ ❀

ImageEvee was concerned. Where was her roommate? She had mentally prepared herself for a damn long time now - actually for 3 minutes - and now this guy made her wait? She really can be impatient sometimes and the time as she lost herself in her thoughts, the list of the songs in the handphone that she was given proceed. Now it played 'I couldn't careless' from Leslie Clio.

so what's it gonna be
if you don't like my peaches
then don't shake the tree
maybe it's sad but it's easy
the sick ship rolls
and takes so little to please me
go cross me off your list
no use to be a part of
a world that don't exist
I'm giving up the fight
I never getting paid
but somewhere there's a light

Yes, Evee didn't know what and who that song sang but he respected how easy she blurted out those words. So the world can be seen like that too. She had to act like the singer of the song. Being cool and after all, be herself still somewhere not betraying herself. It would be very difficult not being herself if she had to stay here for a long time. She sighed. Let's remember back everything that she had to know. She is a boy. She calls herself Mallar Xaevos, from a rich family that is far away from here. It was her first time in this academy. And she is now a HE. And she will act like it. She had to be brave and face this challenge.

After that, he repeat it every once again and the songs keep playing and playing, and her bubble gum may have popped for the hundrets time by now!, as she heard the door being opened.

Her face went a bit pale. Now, as the real thing started, she had worried that she forgot everything she had to know. But it wasn't like that. She breathed in and out, briefly closing her eyes as then a quite big guy opened the door and entered. His face was handsome, but something on him that he didn't like. May it be because he looks a bit frightening or he just had an arrogant face, so Evee's first opinion of him. And him looking at her with those eyes that seem to look through everything, what was not a questionable assumtion of someone in her position, but it made her a bit uneasy and scared. Was her secret going to be revealed after a single day? She didn't want that. It was so hard and a lot of trouble just preparing for it...

"Hey,"

His strong and loud voice made her heart beating even faster - if it's even was able to beat faster then it already is - she looked up to him and finally leaving her laying position and sit up above her bed and tried a smile. And she was even able to do it better that she had thought in her head. "Hey roommate." She easily said - so it seems - but actually she had went through many things to just say that single greeting.

"Sup? Name's Hunter Davis. The hell are you?"

As he wenced and say those quite harsh words, Evee could throw a trash bin over him and say all various things against his harsh and unpolite language. That what Evee would do. But she was now Mallar Xaevos and in her beileve, boys greet themselves always so unpolite. So she got up off the bed and smiled, popping her bubble gum and offered her hand - what she regretted afterwards thinking it was too polite - "My name is Mallar. Mallar Xaevos. Just call me Xea. It's - kinda - nice to meet you." It all went smoothly. Yes! It didn't gone waste that she practiced for this time so much. Then she lift her hand and pointed on the window. "For your information, I gave you the bed near the window. Be greatful, roommie. Or what again? Hunter... Davis? Ma- I am calling you Hunter from now on." In the middle of her sentences she already made the first mistake: She was being polite again, wanted to begin with 'May'.But she smiled in the outside, no, it was a naughtly grin and she put out a big plastic. Inside the plastic are many - and if I say there is many I mean it - many bubble gums and she offered them to his new roommate. "Want some? Warning: Without sugar. Isn't sweet." Her heart beating pace had almost went to the normal state, but everytime, she tried not to get an eye contact with him. She was still nervous, but her act was - except for some errors - perfect, so her worries are not really reasoned, although... if he is sharp enough... and that was what Evee was scared about. But for gods sake, she doesn't show it. But just grinned matey like.

_____::Alias | Dataro Nagano::
_____"Wait... No..."
______β™ β™ β™

"Hey Dataro, My name's Brian!" Damara's eyes widened and she blinked a few times in surprise when her golden-haired roommate actually replied to her. For some reason, she hadn't really expected that. Well, that was the consequence of minimal social interaction, she supposed. He seemed very bubbly and engaged, she noted. Perfect. Just what she needed. One of those hyper-active types. Why couldn't she have gotten one of those... deaf-mutes? Did they even have deaf-mutes at that school? Didn't they have their own schools? And there she went again, off on one of her mental tangents. Well, if she wasn't going to talk a bunch with her mouth, she might as well talk a bunch in her head, right? Even better, in her head, no one could hear what she was thinking, and that was a relief in and of itself. A downside to this, however, was that she was often aloof of her surroundings. A prime example of this was the fact that he'd had his hand extended towards her for a few moments at the least.

"We're gonna be room mates for the rest of the year, so uh.. there's no need to be shy." The kid split a grin, and Damara felt one of her eyes twitch a bit. Of course there is! There is always a need to be shy! In her mind, that was the truth, anyways. Interaction with people tended to cause trouble, and that alone was the foundation of her reasoning. They boy went on, and Damara's hand was tensed as she decided whether or not to accept his handshake. "Uh, But if you want, I could leave the room for a minute so you could have some time to.. adjust! Would that be alright..?"

Here, she was conflicted. Part of her very much wanted him to leave very much. That way, she could be alone, and not get into trouble. Damara took a very small step backwards as she considered the other option. Contrarily, she wanted him to stay. This was the closest she'd gotten to someone outside of her own family without hitting anyone in quite a while, longer than she'd care to think about. So, she stayed silent for a long moment, before her body decided to act of its own volition. Her hand shot outward and very lightly gripped the boy's- Brian's. She gave it a rather quick shake before retracting her hand just as quick as she'd sent it out. Barely thinking about the words as she said them, Damara murmured in the most masculine voice she possessed (which really wasn't that impressive), "No... No, that's okay. You can stay. I-I'm just not all that good around... other people..." She swallowed, and forced her next words out of her mouth with a great effort. "B-But I'd really like for us to be friends. Is that... Is that alright?"

Smooth operator, she thought to herself ruefully.

When his roommate rose from his position on the bed and offered him a handshake, for a moment, Hunter Davis was a tad... dumbfounded. He hadn't been asked for a handshake in a while. Not by anyone. People tended to take one good look at him and say, "No way in hell I'm handshaking that guy." That was what he was used to, and that was how he liked it. That was completely normal. This show of decency wasn't. For him, in any case. So, for the sake of his sanity, he ignored the gesture of courtesy and eyed the guy with a raised brow.

"My name is Mallar. Mallar Xaevos. Just call me Xea. It's - kinda - nice to meet you." Hunter Davis almost scowled. Kinda? The hell was that supposed to mean? Kinda? He made a small, indignant sighing sound. This guy was weird. Hell, he even had a weird name: Mallar Xaevos. He scoffed inwardly. The hell kind of name was that? Oh well. At least he sounded normal enough. For the most part."For your information, I gave you the bed near the window. Be grateful, roomie. Or what again? Hunter... Davis? Ma- I am calling you Hunter from now on."

Now, at this, his features darkened. Normally, he would have been perfectly okay with being called Hunter. Just fine. But there was something about this guy, about his tone, his attitude, that Hunter Davis didn't like. He clenched his teeth and narrowed his eyes, looking down at the guy and trying to keep himself from hauling off and landing him one right on the jaw. He abstained, however. He couldn't embarrass his parents again.

The guy produced a pack of gum. Bubble gum. Hunter Davis regarded it curiously as he was offered some. "Want some? Warning: Without sugar. Isn't sweet." He snorted. Was that some kind of challenge? So what if it had no sugar? To hell with that! If this guy could deal with it, than so could he, dammit! He was a man!

"Hmph." He took a piece and popped it into his mouth with minimal hesitation. He made a face. God, it tasted awful. That wasn't gum. It was an abomination. But, immediately, his cool-guy exterior was up and running again. "Tastes like shit," he commented, before he could stop himself. "But whatever..." He decided to change the subject. "So, you're names Mallar, right? That's a freakin' weird name. You from a different country or something?"

β™₯ Evee Arlandal β€’ Mallar Xaevos β™₯
Evee Arlandal, disguised as a boy with the fake name: Mallar Xaevos. Sended from the entertainment industry with the purpose to make her able to express 'love' clearly. She herself doesn't know their plans, but did it for her families sake. Would the plan of the industry suceed...?

❀ ❀ ❀

ImageYes, Evee do regret wanting to do a handshake with him, but that her gesture got ignored just like that irritated her. If she was Evee, she would yell at him, advising him that it was unpolite to do so. That was the time where she had to hold back really badly not to loosing her temper and polish his expression.

But she remain calm as he scoffed her. That was pretty normal for a boy. It was a sign that he wanted to be her friend. So her foolish believe in 'mens friendship' that she studied in a creepy looking book.

As she offered him her sugarless bubble gum and he took one, without even a word of gratitude, Evee was tried to not take the plastic away and made him grabbed into the air. But she restrained herself but as he commented:

"Tastes like shit,"

Wha- who did he think she was? His maid? Giving him a bubble gum what isn't priceless, without a word of gratitude and then commented rudely like that? Was he a punk or something? Even Evee understood that it wasn't the start of friendship between them. It was war. And Evee made sure not to lose it. "Better then sweet bubble gums. They are worser then shit." She said and a small grin formed on her lips. "If you are not able to gulp in this much, I have to question yourself being a proper man." Now she made it. That was something very sensitive she said there. She knew it, it was said inside her little creepy looking book. "Because eating sweet things is not our men thing, is it?" Clearly she was trying to reconcile, if it isn't too late.

"So, you're names Mallar, right? That's a freakin' weird name. You from a different country or something?"

As he tried to change the subject, she decided to go along. "Well yeah, ever gone to Tunisia? My father comes from there but somehow I end here. Don't ask me about past things. But your name is also weird. 'Hunter'... is that a title or a name?" She said easily the lie that she had studied and mocked at him also. So he even grew more worried of what she said before. Why did she make him even more mad? Was she stupid? But but...

But she stubbornly throw away her conscience. It was his fault. He was the one who start it off. Although it sound childish, she do not believe she had any fault there. She concentrated her glance back to the plastic of bubble gums and ate another one. The fifth one for today.

Her roommate chuckled, and, to Damara, this seemed like a positive reaction. He didn't appear to be mocking her, in any case, and that was definitely a good sign. Sure, her statement had probably sounded a little odd, and really out of place, but, well, what was done was done, and at least he hadn't, say, raised his brow and backed away slowly. Certainly, things were going better than expected. Damara looked down at the floor and tightened her grip on the handle of her suitcase. "Of course we could! Heck, we could even be best friends!" She looked up sharply. Best friends? That could... happen? Even for her? "...Uh, I mean, if you wanted. If you didn't want to, that'd be okay too. Being just friends is always nice too! 'Don't even have to know the persons last name and just go 'hey, wanna go to the movies?' And they're like 'yeah, sure.' Because their just friends and that's all they'll be. And It's not rude or anything because they're.. uh... friends... " Well, the boy trailed off his little ramble, and Damara blinked. He had looked different for a moment, there. Distant. Distant and... kind of sad? Was that sadness she was seeing?

Alas, before she could determine this, her roommate changed the subject, smiling again, but this time, it was different. "Ah, anyways, I'll just let you unpack now, Dataro..." he trailed off once more, and returned to his position on the bed. Damara stood still for a moment, blinking down at her suitcase in slight confusion. Should she be concerned for her acquaintance? He'd gone from bright, bubbly and cheery to quiet and sullen in a matter of a few sentences. Was that normal for him? Was he one of those bipolar people? Oh gosh, was she roomed with a psychopath? She shook her head lightly and wheeled her suitcase over to the bed. Psychopath, my rear end. Her imagination was a rampant one, which was both a gift and a curse. It wasn't as if she'd had a choice in the matter, either. Growing up without friends in the real world, the world of her mind was often her playground.

She started her unpacking with her clothes. Right as she was opening the suitcase, she felt a spike of terror. She couldn't remember if she'd brought any... feminine items of clothing. But, she sighed quietly with relief when she saw boxer shorts and briefs rather than... In any case, she made quick work of putting her clothes away. As far as (non-toiletry) personal belongings, she didn't have very much: a small lamp for reading, a journal, and a few of her favorite books. She placed them on one of two desks, and returned to her suitcase, stashing it under her bed. When she was done, she heaved a (semi-manly) sigh and straightened up. Maybe it was time to talk to her roommate again? A large part of Damara really, really didn't want to, but then again, you couldn't be friends with someone if you didn't get to know them at all.

She climbed onto her bed and sat as close to the far edge as she could without falling off the other side. She cleared her throat in preparation. What should she say? Was he even still in the mood for talking? What if she said something offensive or embarrassing or weird? She'd go the rest of her life without having a friend, and she'd die old and alone with no kids or grand kids and surrounded by cats. Damara took a deep breath. Don't botch this, she told herself. Nothing was more important that a first impression. Nothing. When she'd finally figured out something to say that didn't sound weird (to her, anyway), she, well, said it.

"So, ah, Brian... What do you like to do for fun?" she asked quietly, hoping she was heard. That didn't seem like too queer an asking. People ask each other stuff like that when they first meet, don't they? She hoped it sounded normal enough. The last thing she needed was someone else ignoring her. At least, that's what she told herself.

_____::"Tuni... What?"::
_____β™‹β™‹β™‹

"Well yeah, ever gone to Tunisia? My father comes from there but somehow I end here. Don't ask me about past things."

Tunisia? The hell is that? It's a country, right? Where? Europe? No, wait, Asia! Africa? Damn dude, a little context here? That was what he'd wanted to say, but, under recommendation of his therapist, he was supposed to be making friends, not dissing their native lands or whatever. He was supposed to be "culturally aware" or something. God, he hated his therapist, but the man had a point. Maybe not dissing people so much would help his psyche.

Instead, he nodded, looking away, still chewing that godawful gum he'd been given. But your name is also weird. 'Hunter'... is that a title or a name?" For some reason, he found this funny. So funny, in fact, he almost choked on the aforementioned awful gum. He was silent as he actually thought out a response, something he almost never did, as his bipolarity often made everything spontaneous for him. Nope. Not this time. He thought that it might be a good idea to screw with this guy a bit, let his mischievous side shine for a little bit. Nothing like messing with foreign kids. That thought almost made him feel a little guilty. Almost.

"It's both," he said, smirking in his usual style. "I go out into the woods at night and rip baby animals from their mothers. Then, I rip them to pieces with my teeth and eat them bloody and raw. That's how I got my name. Used to be just 'Davis', but now they call me 'Hunter', too. So, it's kinda like a name now." He paused for effect, strode over to his bed, and sat on it. "In fact, I'm feeling a little hungry at the moment. Happen to have any squirrels on ya, good sir?" It took quite a bit of effort to keep from snickering like a madman at his own little joke, but he managed. All in the name of good humor.

❀ ❀ ❀

ImageOdd. Yes, he was an odd guy. Somehow, Evee felt that he was holding something in. Was it anger? Was it his true feelings? She really grow a bit interested, but truly did not show it outside. She was still aware that he was a guy. Probably he already flew from couple of schools and now end up here somehow and told to not be, as he really is. Actually, it was good - if the situation was like that - but Evee attached great importance of being oneself, although she is an actor. She always found something familiar in a character she had to play, and learn to understand their perspective.

Basically, she did not like how he averted his eyes from her and just nodded as an answer. But then he noticed a change of expression on his face. His cold and serious, somehow ignorant face turned to be (a bit) kind, and she could somehow recognize a laugh. He laughed? Was my question so funny? As he thought for awhile, Evee waited for him patiently, looking at his face, wanted to see his laughing face again.

"It's both, I go out into the woods at night and rip baby animals from their mothers. Then, I rip them to pieces with my teeth and eat them bloody and raw. That's how I got my name. Used to be just 'Davis', but now they call me 'Hunter', too. So, it's kinda like a name now."

Well, he smirked. It's a beginning. She did not realise that she stared at his face so intensly, that she did not even really took notice at what he was saying. But somehow, she could relate his saying with something disgusting and evil. She looked at him with some weird eyes, as if saying: Are you serious?... but maybe it could mean Are you nuts? also, whatever. She wanted to say something, as he strode on his bad and sat on it, telling her a joke - what was surprising of him. Evee did not think that he could have humor. And if, it should be black comedy or something. And although it was not the best Evee had heard, she grinned, decided to play along.

"In fact, I'm feeling a little hungry at the moment. Happen to have any squirrels on ya, good sir?"

"Maybe, maybe not, My Lord, it depends, but if you have the right amount..." She rubbed with her thumb and pointing finger of her right hand, making clear that she wanted money in exchange, but then slightly smiled and put out some onigiri - what she made by herself actually - and throw it to Hunter's direction. "Kidding. Here catch! My butler made it for me early today because I get hungry pretty soon, so I don't know what taste it is yet." Yeah, it was a lie, it had the taste of seeweed, she knew it. Still she patiently looked at him wanting to know how he would like her home made onigiri.

Image"Good day to you too."

Yuna was confused at how he acted. Hell, he bowed? Is he somekind of stupid? She thought that this was a rich academy? Or did she landed in a butlers room or something? As Yuna was busy answering her own questions in her head, he already stood up straight again and introduced himself:

"My name is Garret Parkinson."

Yuna had to smile. "Garret, really? It's a pretty famous name, huh? I got a friend whose name is Garret too, ya know! He really is something. Not like other boys, he watched his tonuge in front of a woman model like m- my mother." That was close! She would have just revealed herself being actually a girl! She really had to watch herself not talking too much... although it was against her true nature.

"Feel free to take a cookie. I got bored while waiting, and yes, I did make too much. I was just deciding when I should give some over to our neighbors. I already gave a couple a few, but everyone else seemed a little busy, and I didn't want to disturb their introductions."

Did he not hear her question? Yes, she was pretty pleased that he gave her his cookies, and he actually grabbed two or three and ate it on the spot - yes she enjoyed it and was actually a bit jealous because she could not cook so well - but wondered if he did not really heared her question. Mabye he overheard it? She chewed the cookies and began to put her clothes inside the given places and as she finally was finished, she slumped herself on the bed and like him, looked up to the ceiling. "Your cookies are damn good. You should teach me sometime, because I suck at it." She said truthfually and glanced to his bed. "By the way, I am pretty new here and I was wondering: Why did the principle of this school just allow handsome and pretty boys? On top of it, they should be smart! It's pretty funny that something like this still exist in this modern community." But then she noticed his glance: An obeserving and analyzing glance. Somehow, she felt a bit uneasy and averted her eyes from him and looked back to the ceiling. Was her roomie a detective or something?
