A bastard son of a Lord he now leads a band of highway men.
For the product of a illicit affair Daniel is remarkably inclined to chase skirts and is infamous in all the taverns around for such behavior. However lusts aside Blade is remarkably disciplined and focused often training hours ever day with his beloved swords ( some would say he loves steel more then the thighs of the pretty girls he chases.) With a calm tactical mind this bastard son of a Lord and lady in waiting has seen himself rise to command a formidable force of highway men preying on any good target that shows itself. After all he likes to get the job done right and done right the first time something that always inspires the greed driven robbers.
The only time he loses his remarkable discipline ( aside from the skirt chasing) is when confronted with the nobility. Then it's anyone's guess what will happen. It could be as harmless as a glance of contempt or a duel to the noble's death ( No one who knows Blade thinks the noble would win.) On a final note the man is famous for the generosity he shows after a good haul. The bastard is particularity fond of returning unfairly collected taxes to the masses.
Frost and Wind: Two identical slender bladed long swords their hilts are wrapped in blue and white leather. The pommel stones are pure silver counterweights set with the family crest of the Noble family of Snow, A lofty windblown mountain on a field of blue and white. The cross guard is also pure silver as are the actual blades themselves. The blades are engrave with a blood groove that runs the length of the blade . Like the sword belt they are hung upon they show the same detail in quality craftsmanship that are only found amongst the nobility.
12 throwing knives: Throwing knives they are well balanced to fly straight and are crafted of silver. Their holding belt hangs off the back of his sword belt.
Dirk: Like his twin long swords they share the same blue and white hilt wrappings and silver blade and pommel stone counterweights. The dirk hangs off the right side of his sword belt.
Forearm Dagger: Hidden underneath his right sleeve is a thin bladed steel dagger and it's sheath. Designed with the flick of his wrist to drop the dagger into his right hand it has come in useful many times over.
Blademaster was born Daniel Snow, the product of an illicit love affair between Lord Snow of Windchime Mountain and Lady in waiting Selina Marice. What made this already bad enough affair worse was that Selina was lady in waiting to Lord Snow's wife Lady Susan. Needless to say all attempts to hide Daniel's existence were made from the day of his birth. His mother against her will was shipped off to a Nunnery and wiped from memory with Lord snow conniving to have his wife think the girl wished to lead a more religious life. Daniel was sent into the care of a trusted Knight serving Lord Snow. The tale weaved to hide Daniel's existence was that the Knight ( Sir Bathos of Black River) had adopted an orphan as an act of purity and humility as set forth in the code.
And for a time it went smoothly for Lord Snow and the castle at Windchime. Daniel grew up in ignorance of his true heritage although as he grew into his adult body the obvious similarities between him and Lord Snow were gossiped about amongst the castle staff. But nothing was said aloud and Daniel grew up leaning of the code and the way of the sword from his so called Father Sir Bathos of Black River. So adept did Daniel prove at the art of swordplay the other squires took to calling him Blademaster, a nickname he later adopted as his real name.
However swordplay was not the only thing his adult body excelled at. Learning of the pleasures women could offer the champion of the last tourney saw the would be knight become the skirt chaser. Victory after victory in the tourneys saw him become quite a hit with the women who where perhaps a bit looser in their morals then most. But after being knighting by Sir Bathos and having been bloodied in the real battles of knighthood saw him become withdrawn. War after all is no tourney waged on a sunny afternoon. But he eventually snapped out of it and went back to his skirt chasing ways.
Sir Bathos eventually came to scold Daniel for it with perhaps the worst line possible. He spoke of Daniel being just like his father, this in turn lead to a series of questions that saw him learn the truth of his birth. Also needless to say this made the made quite angry and leaving in a storm he barged his way into his father's audience chamber. In said chamber a delicate trade negation was in the critical stages. But for this enraged knight it meant little, shouting in a voice so loud the guards on duty in the dungeons below the castle must of heard him Daniel revealed his knowledge.
" As you denied me my noble rights upon my birth Father then I shall take my inheritance from you somewhat early." He spoke and before the guards could do anything but put hand to their sheathed swords Daniel had ripped three things from Lord Snow's grasp. The blades of the Snow family, Frost and Wind, The blue and white cloak from his left shoulder, and the brooch that held closed the cloak. A silver brooch in the shape of a silver sword thrust through a mountain it marked it's wearer as a son of the Noble Snow family.
Storming out of the castle of Windchime with steps that saw him outrun the guards he jumped on his black stallion and ride from the castle.
And thus began his life as a highwayman. For he had come to hate the nobility with a passion. Robbing pearl draped daughters of their pearls, Taking the gold of tax collectors, Stripping the feast tables of nobles and kings to feed the hungry he was soon a legend.
At first he was alone but as his fame grew so did his following. Now he leads a handpicked band of highwaymen who obey his commands as hounds to the hunter. Always he leads them to fat prizes and always it is the coin of nobles he steals. for he feels it the quickest way to drive the message home. However this lifestyle is not without it's risk and as such Blademaster as he calls himself live in the forest alongside his band laying low to let the fury of the nobles die down somewhat. With little to do beyond training the former Knight and bastard finds himself going on long walks and thus one day hears the screams of young woman.
