Cammie and Mino ran around. "Gotcha!" shreiked Cammie. "No fair!!!" whimpered Mino. Cammie laughed, and sped around. She jumped on a rock, and meowed. Mino ran up and jumped on Cammies back. "Ahhh!!!!" shreicked Cammie as she tumbled off the rock. They lie on their backs laughing. Cammie pricked her ears. "Did you hear that?" She asked, jumping up on her paws. "The zoo is closed!" Mino squealed running, and jumped the high fence. "Wait for me!" cried Cammie and followed Mino, and leaped easily over the fence.

"Im going to the ice cream stand!" cried Mino. "You coming?" he asked, swaying his small tail in the air. "Nah, im gonna go to the gift shop and see if Mayple is there!" she said. "Okz then byes!" He said and ran of to the ice cream stand.

Cammie ran to the gift shop. She saw Mayple strolling there. She got down, and stalked her. "Boo!" She shreicked and jumped on her back. She jumped back off. "Did I scare you?" She asked tilting her head, her big black eyes gleaming with mischief.

Mino ran to the ice-cream stand. He arrived there, and pounced up on the coiunter. He jumped into the box with ice cream and hot dogs in it, and began gobbling them up.

" Oh hello Cammie!" Said Mayple, a bit surprised. " I was scared for life!" Lied Mayple. " Are you coming to the gift shop?" Asked Mayple Cammie was Mayples only friend, regarding the fact Cammie was younger then her. Mayple padded into the shop. She saw all sorts of soveniers. Mayple saw at the top of a shelf, a tiny otter plush. It repersented her, the only current otter in the zoo. Mayple grabbed books on animals from low shelves. She piled them up and made a tower. She climbed up the book tower and reached for the plush...

Kross decided to give up on chewing on the fence and started to dig under it. There were so many interesting scents he wanted to be a part of. A hole started to develope and once it reached his size he squeezed under it and was free. Where to go first? He closed his eyes and lifted his nose to the sky, looking for a scent to follow. He coud smell food and a few other less interesting smells, but his young nose was too inexperienced to pick up the smell of anything too specific. He figured that the animals would most likely head off towards the food, so with his nose i nthe air, he stalked off towards a smell with less meaning to him. He arrived minutes later at a building with strange shapes written above the door. He peered inside and froze when he saw two other animals he had not expected to be here. Trying to make as little noise as possible, he snuck into the building and hid uner a rack of clothing, hoping their weird smell would mask his.

Mayple woke up and dashed to Krosses enclosure. The sky was baby blue. The only thing was... it was empty. Her I phone rung. She took it out. The I phone screamed " EASTER EASTER! "It must have been Easter. Mayple looked inside Kroses enclosure. " Kross?" Asked Mayple. He wasn't there. Mayple headed to the gift shop. There was Cammie, offering a gumball. " Sure!" Replied Mayple. She popped it in her mouth. This substance was chewy. Mayple blew a bubble. Then Mayple swallowed it. She looked at the shirt rack. " Ohh I see you!" Chimed Mayple. " Kross would you like to hang out with me? You can also Cammie." Mayple thought it would be cool to befriend a cheetah cub and a wolf cub. When they would grow up they could protect her.

"Sure!" Said Mayple. Mayple walked Fillary and Cammie and Kross to her enclosure. Once they finally reached there, she realized it would be hard for the two to climb up. She pushed them up one at a time. And it was hard, espieccaly when you're a small American river otter and your lifting a cheetah cub and a wolf cub and a colt. They all finally got over the fence. Mayple took some stones and made a staircase so the other three could jump out when they wanted. Mayple stepped into the water. " Come in the water guys, its warm."said Mayple. She put her other foot in. " Ill let you two play on my I phone if you get in!"

Kross lifts his ears at the word 'water' and jumped using his back legs as leverage, pouncing on the surface before dorpping out of site. He resurfaced and began to doggy paddle around and around. He loved water. In his puppy mind anything this wet had to be fun. He was on his third lap when he got a flash of his dream and ducked his head under looking for any tentacles or giant crabs. He held his breath as long as possible and came up for air before excitedly yelpin, "you have no monsters in your pond!"

Cammie ran into the water. She jumped in it, and splashed Mayple with the water. "Is it warm becasue you pee in it?" she asked.

Fillarey put her hoof into the water. Her legs shivered slightly. "Its warm!" She said, and jumped into the water. She frolicked, and roled around in the water.

Jake felt gloomy. He was just released here yesterday. He sat on a log. All the animals looked like they where having fun. The abnormal thing was that there was an otter, a cheetah cub,a wolf cub, and a colt where in the same enclousure. Jake scratched his back on a tree. It was a relief he didn't have to dance anymore. He hated dancing.

Kross continued to do laps until he left tired, when he looked around for prey to hitch a ride from. Cammie looked like the biggest here besides hinself and the colt. Swimming as fast as his puppy paws could he climbed onto Cammie's back and yelled, "giddy up!"

" No I don't pee in it." Chuckled Mayple. Mayple grabbed some of her fish and dished it out to the cubs. Then she plucked grass and gave it to Fillarey. " You guys wait while I expand my room." Said Mayple. She swam underwater into her air sealed room. She started digging the walls and scooting the stone walls back. She also made the ceiling tall enough for Fillaray to stand in. After a few minutes, she swam back out. " Come underwater guys! And when you enter quickly shut the stone door! " yelled Mayple. She then sat on the ground of her room.

" The stone snapped shut on your tail." Said Mayple, " There is no monsters in this pond, I lived here for 4 months. " Mayple sat down. She thought of what to do. She passed them her I phone. " Now you guys share." She said. Mayple then walked over to her collection of books from the gift shop. There was a pop up book on zoo animals. She opened the book. " Tigers go ROAR! Cheetas go GRR! Mayple whispered to Cammie and Fillarey to talk quietly while Kross was sleeping. Then she headed out. She needed to buy them lunch. She walked up the stone staircase and leaped over the fence. She walked over to the snack bar. Mayple was very smart and knew how to read. She read the menu and snatched 4 cookies, 3 hotdogs, 1 bag of French fries, and kids meal toys. Then she headed back. She opened the stone and walked in. " I got lunch!" Yelled Mayple. She gave everyone exept Filly a hotdog, instead she gave her French fries. Then she gave them each a cookie and a toy. The toys were models of themselves.

Mayple laughed. She enjoyed her " pack " of youngsters. Mayple stuck her hotdog to her head." I am a unicorn!" Yelled Mayple. " NIEGH!!" Mayple put the hot dog down and laughed. She took a bite into her hotdog. " I got everyone a toy model of themselves!" Chuckled Mayple. She knawed the plastic bag and took the otter toy out." See?" She remarked. When Mayple pressed its legs against the ground, it back flipped.
