Omnes
Omnes stood there, watching as everything unfolded as he thought. Of course he knew it would all happen, but what's he to be a spoiler, huhm? He merely watches, staring into space - not too literally - as he mumbles in synch with everything being said and every action being taken, not at all surprised as none of the six appeared to be paying close attention to him. He found himself holding back the temptation of just yelling out "take them to the goddamned escape pods, already!" If that happened to come about, he'd have some serious problems with this time line. It's already bad enough he has to decline every invention to go and visit all the thousand of Miko's calling for him from all the various timelines but he must focus on this one...
Now's the part where he must do a set number of coughing as to answer Bel's question. Of course, this could possibly do anything to the timeline, but then again, Omnes will be able to choose whichever one that will set this timeline on the right track or, possibly, leading them all to their deaths. Then again, that could always be changed in the future decisions of the Six. But this is also the timeline where Danny will come and momentarily have access to all the knowledge Omnes was cursed with.
Back on point: Coughing. Is Zerxes telling the truth? Why, yes, he is telling the truth about the humans raging in a war with not only a vicious extraterrestrial race but also a world war with their own people. But it seems to Omnes that Zerxes is, tell me if I'm wrong, leaving out the crucial fact that Zerxes, Baldwin, and all the other seemingly "human" crew members on this ship are the product of these aliens and humans. Knowing it is the truth, Omnes looks at Bel, his face with it's knowing look. He lets out three coughs, one after the other. After which, Omnes turns to Zerxes, who was at the time, addressing him about not stepping foot on the ship again and calling him a "piece of trash". Omnes lets out a laugh, sounding like he's around the age of the clones he stands near.
"Oh, Zerxes. When will you learn?" Shaking his head slightly, he adds "You know, in the timeline over, you were much kinder and braver than this." Truth be told, Zerxes was meaner in the timelines over. Instead of saying "trash" he used a rather worse word, but it's all the same to Omnes, especially the since that he's not always there. In a few failed timelines, he may never even be seen, looked upon more as one of the many godly figures in various religions from times far too long ago for history to fully remember when he was young and tried saving a timeline only to make it worse.
At this point, Danny had made her decision to try to read Omnes' mind, failing, and being sucked into what Omnes likes to refer to as the Nothing. It's the point in time where there is no space nor time. The point when everything in endless and nothing matters. They could stay in this bubble until Danny was a weak, old woman, and they'd return right back to the moment Danny was less than an inch away from touching Omnes. Omnes heard as Danny spoke. He felt as this realm of nothingness took on a form of an others. It changed from a black that could never be seen to the grassy field of Danny's subconscious home. She was quiet, not fully aware of what was going on, and Omnes knew this. Instead of answering her question, he explained.
"Welcome," He started, his voice coming from seemingly every direction. "to the place in the moral plane where neither space nor time matter. Where everything is endless and nothingness rules. The place where no one goes yet everyone will see. The place where you can dissect your mind and live your life with never needing to grow up from the last moment in time you've had. Don't worry, you didn't die nor did you ruin your timeline. We can go back, back to the moment right before this moment of nothingness occurred." He paused, letting what he said sink in a moment before continuing. He appeared in front of Danny in a flash just as the scenery changed just as quickly. "Now, about your question. Look around." They were in a place that appeared to be a battle field. People were fighting, yelling, explosives were being let off. The skin was covered by a thick smoke of pollution, gun powder, and smoke from the fires of burning villages. Giant ships floated over head as it ran down lasers that hit the ground with the sound of lightning. "This is what the average battle field of Earth looks like, even today. But it's not like this every where." The scenery changes again. The loud noise of gun shots, bombs, and lightning can still be heard, but it's off in the distance. Their in a little town with little shops right next to each other. A few people walk by, smiling and waving in greeting. Two woman walk out of a store, one holding a ton of bags, looking displeased, and the other carrying a card with a large grin on her face. Throw the window of a restaurant a couple can be seen having lunch with their children kicking each other playfully under the table. "This is the average town of Earth today, with people still enjoying life. So, yes, while there's still places that look like what you saw from Zerxes, not all places look like such. Now, we much return for time still matters for I'm getting a call. Don't worry, just be sure to tell your fellow others to follow their guts. It's the only way to succeed." At that, their back to the ship. Omnes points Danny in the right direction before disappearing into thin air.
He appears in an apartment seeing Akira in the form on a small creature and Miko in a towel. "Well, I know I should have known this was going to happen, but being here in person just throws it over the top. Miko, why don't you go change into some clothes, I haven't have a cloak for you. And Akira, why don't you turn into something more...how can I say this? Addressing?"
Baldwin
Waking from his simulation, Baldwin walked over to one of the slot machines installed in the wall. It was a special slot machine that, instead of rewarded coins, it gave a meal and you got to pick what you wanted. He really didn't feel like having a full out meal, so he settled of beef jerky. Lots of beef jerky. He got six pieces, two for each picture, and put five in his pocket, taking the last and carrying it in his hand. He went back to the capsule room to see everyone is already gone. He leaned against the frame of the door, crossing his arms over his chest and looking around.
"A mess. They made a fucking mess." Was all he said as he took a bit of his jerky.
He turned and went toward the escape pods, taking a bit of his jerky every few steps until it was gone. Once he caught up to the end of the group, he sped his walking up as he took a bit of his, now third, jerky and caught up with Zerxes. "Heya, Zerx." Baldwin says in a mono-toned voice and takes a bit of his jerky. "What'd I miss?" He added before taking a glance back at the clones. "They turned out pretty good, eh? None too...dis-human, huhm? None with, like, tails, or cat ears, or fuckin' whiskers." He took another bit of his jerky.
