The summer air was warm with a breeze that kissed the skin. The perfect temperature some might say – but all Bethany felt was chilled to the bone.

She had stared at the telltale yellow caution tape stretched out around the park for over an hour now trying to force herself to cross it. She had to know the truth and the answers were inside.

The night before a cop had showed up at their door twisting a cap in his hands as he told her brother, Brandon that Elizabeth was dead. But Beth knew already when she sat listening on the stairs. The Summer twins always knew when their other half wasn’t well or hurt. And this was different from those inklings. This was a cold feeling that wouldn’t go away.

Brandon’s reaction was hardly controlled. He told the cop to go immediately and that he would call him later for the details. Brandon was a were-tiger and didn’t handle the negative emotions so well. He was trembling as Bethany jumped up and shooed the cop out just in time for Brandon to practically demolish the railing of the stairs.

Beth was still trying to get a splinter out of her thumb.

Since Brandon had refused to let her wander the streets alone. He would take her to work; he would pick her up from work and if she had to do any shopping it would have to wait until he was off work. The protective nature wouldn’t have bothered her so much if he’d just have agreed to let her visit the crime site. There were things she could do, things she needed to know; things only Bethany could get from her twin. But Brandon had flat out refused. He knew he was too fragile to be allowed to see their sister like that and not shift from the pain in public.

So Beth snuck out. She locked herself in her bedroom telling Brandon she was having a bath and grieving so he wouldn’t check on her for a long time. Once the bath was run Beth escaped through the window – an endeavour she’d have considered a complete success if she hadn’t fallen down the tree she was trying to shimmy down and skinned her palms. Still… she’d managed.

With no time to lose she made her way in the direction of the park, seduced a drunk along the way for a power boost and then when she was just across the street from the crime scene she froze. Beth had settled down on a nearby bench in hopes of standing out less while she convinced herself in the waning sunlight to perform her spell.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket and she jumped, pulled it out of her pocket and stared at Brandon’s number flashing on the screen. He’d found out she was missing and that meant she didn’t have a lot of time. Rushed now she rose from the bench and scurried across the road into the park.

The body had been cleared away, but the mark of a bloody and violent death told her exactly where she needed to be. Stepping down onto the crunchy pebbles of the playground box she paused again, staring at the bloodied stones. Swallowing hard she steadied herself and strode forward until she hit the point where the anguish felt like it would swallow her whole and sank to her knees.

Scrambling she pulled out an old purple bed sheet with her pentacle circles drawn across it and spread it out, marking the five points of the star with white candles. Sitting in the centre she focused and the candles lit on their own – a magic wasting trick but it saved time.

Books and movies had normal people believing that one needed to know Latin for spells, but all Beth ever needed was intent. Words often weren’t even necessary – but in this case Beth needed them to stabilize her racing thoughts and emotions.

“Reveal to me your last moments,” Bethany whispered pouring power into the words. “Who did this to you?”

No sooner had she told the circle her intent did she see a reflection of herself sitting in the swing.

Elizabeth was humming and rocking herself back and forth with her toes. It was common for her to sit there and wait for Beth to cut through the park on her way home from work. Lizzy worked nights at am emergency veterinary clinic that let her out only an hour before Beth usually got out.

Two men appeared behind her, one grabbing her and holding a blade to her throat while the other walked around to the front to look at her face. Elizabeth narrowed her eyes at him defiantly but her fear was palpable even in this fuzzy memory. Her fingers tightened on the chains holding up the swing. He traced a finger along her jaw and his face scrunched in disappointment.

“You look like the picture I was given. But you can’t be, I can see you trembling in fear but you’ve yet to move me,” the man purred and then his eyes flicked up to the man who held Lizzy. “Kill her. Perhaps the other will come. Then we can catch her.”

The other nodded and slid the blade across her throat. Then the two pulled her off the swing and began to feed.

Beth was slammed out of the memory with such force that she was knocked back. Her back arched as her body fought the unpleasantness her magic had brought. The flames of the candles died as if invisible people had blown them all out. Her breath came in ragged gasps as she fought not to cry. She had to get out of here.

Her sister had been murdered by vampires.

Vampires looking for her.

But the violence of seeing her own flesh, flesh akin to hers enough to tell her mind it could have been her, crippled her. She had to get a grip; she had to get out of here. Brandon would be here soon, her mind soothed. But that might not be soon enough – they had killed Elizabeth so quickly. But she lay heaving and retching dryly while her psyche tried to absorb the shock.

Murders had been popping up all over Saleem recently and Andrei could honestly say that it unnerved him a little at the frequency of Supernatural deaths. Normally the Supernatural didn't die but a lot of Females had gone missing in the past month. The odd thing about it was they were all blondes and were some kind of Witch. Andrei sighed leaning back in his chair in his office as he looked at the files on his computer. Just because he had retired from the force didn't mean he couldn't hack their systems without them knowing. Getting up he figured sitting in his house reading over these rudimentary Death reports were doing him no good, he needed a closer look at the crime scene. Standing up he walked out of the study and closed the door behind him as he walked to his bedroom to get dressed.

Tossing on a pair of Tattered Blue jeans and a black T-shirt he made sure to pull on his enchanted ring so he could walk in the day light. For some time now Vampires had employed Enchantress to give them the ability to be immune to the weakness of the sun, mind you it didn't work for long, but it would work for long enough until the sun set. Walking out of his house he figured it was a nice enough day so he walked to his Garage and got his motorcycle and pulled out of his drive way. Most of the Vampires in Salem lived in the Local coven, mainly because it was the Coven of one of the Four Royal Households but Andrei was a little bit of a loner. As he drove through town he smiled inside his helmet as he thought about his past. It didn't take long for him to reach the park and when he got there something caught his eye. The park had been closed due to the fact it was a murder scene however there was someone here, he could smell them. Well more importantly he could smell their blood in the air, and that made him wonder just who might be there?

Drawing his own personal handgun from the back of his pants he walked into the Park with his weapon drawn. Cop still or not he knew how dangerous it was to walk onto the scene of a Crime without being prepared for an attacker. Once he cleared the tree's on the north side of the park he was in the open to the area where kids came and played but only one person was there. A blonde haired girl that from a distance looked exactly like the victim was sitting in the exact same place as the murder took place. Moving closer Andrei noticed that there was a difference about the smell of this girl versus the smell of the dead girl. He could still smell death in this place. Walking closer he heard sobs and then he vaguely remembered the death victim had family and he put his gun back in the waistline of his pants. Walking closer until he was within ear shot he looked at the girl for a moment before speaking.

"Everything ok here Miss? This is a restricted area for Police investigation" He said and when the girl jump so did his body, Sex witch, he could already feel her fear affecting him and it made him stumble.

"Don't come any closer!" She said through her sobs. "I have a right to be here!" She said turning away from him and he groaned, this would be quite the endeavor.

"Listen I know you're grieving but seriously, I can tell you're twins and I can Also tell you're a Sex witch" He said and she jumped again, this time giving him a good hard look over. When she took a good look at him the wind picked up carrying his scent over to her and she scrambled backwards tossing stones forward with her feet.

"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU MURDERER! YOU KILLED MY SISTER!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs and He dove forward closing a hand over her mouth.

"Keep it down you moron! I'm not the one who killed your sister, I'm Ex Special Force Kevin Adair. I'm not going to hurt you, and even if you called for help I'd be long gone before anyone could get here. Look I'm trying to catch these sons of bitches too ok? Something has been killing a lot of witches around here recently and I'm trying to get to the bottom of it" He said removing his hand slowly to make sure the girl didn't scream again. "Did your sister have any enemies that might have put a hit out on her?" He asked

"no My sister was a saint! She worked at the Vet clinic and donated her money to charity and would always help out anyone she ever could!" the girl said crying again as she remembered her sister. Sighing Andrei sat back, personal subjects like this were always had to talk about but he needed more info.

"Alright, do YOU have any enemies? It's possible they mistook her for you" He asked her and once again she shook her head. Sighing he realized he wasn't going to get anywhere with this and that was when he heard the familiar purr of a Jeep pulling around the corner. When he say the car he swore and stood up, he needed to get out of there quick, he couldn't afford a run in with who was driving that car. "Thanks for what little help you gave me kid, if you ever want to find me, give me a call!" He said tossing a little white card towards the girl and then with Vampire sped disappeared back to his bike. Getting on the bike he wasted no time with a helmet and gunned it away form the park looking back over his shoulder to see if she might be pursuing him. Once he was safely sure she had given up the chase he slowed his pace and found himself back home, He knew what he SHOULD do but at the same time, that girl was unmarked, he could feel it. She also hand no marking to prove ownership, so that meant there was an unmarked Succubus in Salem and that could be dangerous.

Walking in his house Andrei closed the door and locked it walking into his living room and over to the bar.

"What kind of hell has just descended upon Salem? An unmarked Succubus could very well cause war...something needs to be done about her, Quickly" He said as he poured himself a glass of gin and started sipping on it looking out the window at the Crimson colored sky as the sun just finally disappeared behind the mountains.

Bethany

Watching the man leave Bethany sat on the chalky stones trying to go over what had happened.

He said he was a cop. A vampire cop? Well, Brandon was a werewolf doctor so it wasn’t impossible. And his questions seemed textbook. Did Elizabeth have enemies? No way. Not a chance.

But Beth? Did Beth have enemies?

She had said no immediately, but enemies weren’t necessarily people who she was on bad terms with. For a succubus anyone could be a potential enemy, especially vampires. And Beth knew now that they were hunting her specifically, that was really why they had targeted Elizabeth.

So why hadn’t she told the vampire?

“Because he’s a vampire,” Beth told herself. “He could be in league with the killers and trying to lead me into a trap.”

Picking up the business card he’d tossed at her Beth pocketed it and began to clean up her things. She’d just put the last candle away when a Jeep pulled into the parking lot shining its headlights onto the playground. A woman emerged and approached her with a gait that meant business.

She was small, slender but walked like something powerful. Like something lethal. Beth could tell that silky walk anywhere. The woman was lycanthrope. Her long dark hair fell around her shoulders in a mess as though she’d been woken up to come here. She was wearing a pair of dark jeans with heavy duty boots poking out from the hems and a black tank top under a worn looking leather jacket that was two sizes too big at least.

“Hey kid! You can’t be here – this is a crime scene! See the tape?” the woman said. When she looked at Beth’s face she paled a little and shook her head. “Right, twin, I’m sorry. You look exactly like-”

“My sister, I know,” Beth finished softly and began fiddling with the buckle on her satchel bag. “I’m sorry I just…I needed to know.”

The woman nodded and produced a badge. “Kateri Dawnwalker. Special Agent. Look-”

“Odd, the other man didn’t have a badge,” Beth murmured looking at the official looking description.

“Other man?” Kateri frowned and leaned in giving Beth a sniff. Her lips pursed into a frown. “I knew he wouldn’t be able to keep his nose out of this. I’m sorry if he scared you.”

Beth nodded. “You know him then? So he’s legit?” she asked. If he was really in league with the good guys then maybe he knew what was going on. The woman nodded and began to say something, then at the sound of a cracking stick they both turned, Kateri with a black pistol drawn.

"Stay where you are!" Kateri barked, authority clear in her tone.

“Brandon?” Beth yelped and immediately put herself between the two lycans. "Wait! Please, that’s my brother.”

Kateri nodded and slid her gun into the holster. “I assume he’s looking for you?” she asked as she rearranged the way her jacket fell over the waist of her pants.

Beth nodded and smiled meekly. “I snuck out,” she explained earning an understanding nod and looked her brother over. He was vibrating again. Was he close to changing? Had she made him that angry? No… that worried. His eyes were flickering a dangerous gold though.

And he was eying up the lady cop.

Swallowing Beth inched closer to her brother and bit her lip. She couldn’t let him hurt one of the officers trying to find Lizzy’s killer. Brandon would never forgive himself. He had enough on his plate without that. Even Beth could tell the hardship he carried when he refused to change anymore.

“B? B I’m okay, settle down,” she said softly.

Even without the gun Kateri seemed to stand tall. A wave of power reached out and Beth sighed. Kat was dominant. Most mortals couldn’t feel subtle auras – but for Beth auras were of utmost importance. Living with a werewolf and being a sex witch meant needing to know where she stood at all times, which meant picking up on the ranks. And Kateri was obviously strong. Brandon visibly looked like he was struggling for a moment before relaxing. But he didn’t look happy about it.

And surprisingly Beth didn’t turn into a puddle of lust. She wondered if it was because Kateri’s energy was focused on Brandon.

Lycans were split into two main groups: dominant and submissive. They meant everything in the pack. Submissive lycans were gentle creatures that kept the peace and the hierarchy of dominant lycans enforced the rules and kept less dominant lycans in line. And there were omegas, but they were rare and few between. Omegas had the ability to calm those around them, make them pliable and friendly when they wanted and draw on the dominance of their pack-mates if they needed to.

“Mister Summers you have to calm down. Shifting in the park wont help. Let me get you two home and you can talk there,” Kateri suggested – although it sounded more like an order.

Beth nodded and headed for the Jeep. “Come on B, she’s one of the agents on the case. She’s here to help.” Beth said, hoping that talking would keep her brother calm. But the more Beth watched him the more she saw that he wasn’t close to changing anymore – he was just angry. What had this Agent Dawnwalker done to him?

Andrei

Looking out the window Andrei sighed, he was no fool to believe that Dawnwalker wouldn't know he had been there, they worked together long enough she would know his scent. Sighing he looked at his third glass of Jin and smiled absentmindedly, thinking back to the days when things hadn't been so bad. Back when he still had his team and they could do everything and anything. Sighing he snapped out of it knowing that going back was an impossibility, nothing could change the fact he had gotten Kateri's brother killed because of his own stupidity. Sinking into a chair Andrei turned on the TV but noticed none of his Channels were working. Flipping through a few different channels he wandered just what the hell was going on and then he looked to his window and noticed a strange shadow.

Walking outside Andrei looked to his roof and saw a body hanging from the Dish for his reception, he groaned and jumped up to his roof inspecting the body, it was human at least however that wasn't settling. Inspecting the body he noticed two discreet Bite marks on the females Neck and he knew it was a warning to him, to stay away from the Case, that another vampire was watching. Taking the body down he knew what he needed to do, even though it wasn't something he WANTED to do. Dropping off the roof and landing lightly he carried the dry body to his car and tossed it in the back seat. Getting in he started up the car and started driving to the outskirts of town, messages like this weren't typically reserved for one Vampire alone when they was a coven near by. After about a half an hours worth of driving he pulled into a very fancy gated community and buzzed the box at the gate.

"Hello welcome to Salem Resort, how can we be of service to you this evening?" A voice said and Andrei smiled softly.

"Only the darkest of figures can slip through the night unnoticed by the eyes of those closest to them" He said aloud and the box was silent as the gates opened and he drove onto Coven land. That was their way of identifying if the coven was still safe, or if it was just a random Person coming to the resort. The Mistress of the Coven had founded Salem, keeping old traditions alive she named the town after the Salem witch trials. However just because they were human killing blood sucking monster's didn't mean that they all lived like that. In fact most peoples ideas of Vampires were wrong. They didn't go around just killing to kill or make more of them selves. Since they turn of the Melania things had become more business like.

Now people willingly signed to be a Vampires personal blood bank, someone they trusted or someone they had assisted and needed a place to Call home. Andrei had done that many a time and was always fair to those he owned. So this whole Vampires went out and killed at random was nothing more than Myth now. However some still clung to the old ways but The Salem coven was all business. Andrei pulled off the paved roads to a road that you really needed to be looking for to find and drove to the Mansion of the Coven. Once he was in front of the Coven Andrei got out of the car greeting one of the doormen with a smile and a wave as they came to assist him.

"Mr. Adair how nice to see you again" A tall brown haired man said.

"Yes yes unfortunately I do not come on good terms, we're being watched, or at least I am what with these murders and all I couldn't help but inspect the scene and I found this when I got home" He said as he motioned to the back of his car and the human doorman couldn't help but puke.

"I'm sorry He is fairly new to our coven Sir, I'll take care of him later" The brown haired man said.

"Fret not, it's understandable, I was much like him when I was first brought on before I had been turned. Please help me get this inside, I would like to not waste more time then need be" Andrei said softly opening the door to the back of his car. Shortly after the little scene in front of the Coven Andrei was sitting in a room with plush seating and drawn drapes looking at the sleeping figure in an old style four poster bed.

"It's so Early in the morning, Why have you come Andrei you rarely ever visit anyway" A matured Female voice cooed from under the covers as the figure rolled over.

"I understand my absences displeases you mother, but I have something I believe you should witness with your own eyes. A warning, and not a very subtle one at that" Andrei said softly as he laced his fingers together resting his chin on the backs of hid hands.

Brandon

On the drive home Beth was silent and so was he, Brandon was still pondering how that female officer had calmed him so quickly. As far as he knew, the only pack lands were a few miles out of town ,so why would there be an Omega here in town working as a Cop if most lycan's lived on the Reserves. Granted Brandon wasn't one to talk, he was a should be Alpha working as A surgeon at Salem Hospital who hadn't shifted in close to 3 years but still. Once he was home Brandon parked the car and got out without even saying so much as a word to Bethany, and she knew that she was to say nothing back.

Watching at the Officer pulled into his driveway Brandon gave her another good once over, For an omega she was good looking but that wasn't the issue right now.

"Officer Dawnwalker was it? Dr. Summers, I thank you for finding her but I could have handled it on my own. If you're expecting anything more than that then you can forget it. Just do you damn job and find out who murdered Lizzy, I'll handle the rest from there" He said in a low growling tone and then felt that power wash over him again and he grunted like he had just been punched in the gut.

"Oi, I can take you in now if you like, lock you up for the night. Don't be making threats of murder to me Summers. I know you want them dead, we're doing everything we can to track these guys down but they are a slippery bunch ok? Any information you could give us would be helpful though" She said and Brandon scoffed as his eyes flickered yellow.

"You honestly think I would be wasting my time with cops if I had the slightest clue who did this? Hell no, I would be on the trail myself hunting those blood sucking assholes down myself and rip their damn throats out!" Brandon said and Kateri moved in closer.

"When was the last time you Shifted Dr. Summers?" She asked

"What does that have to do with who murdered Lizzy!?" Brandon exclaimed tossing his hands into the air.

"It doesn't but you are definitely not in control, it feels like you've been putting off the change. Where is your pack, your Alpha, as a matter of fact...why haven't I seen you on our lands?" She asked.

"Maybe thats because I don't need to be surrounded by a bunch of wild animals. I have my Tiger under control, I keep him caged and I've been doing just fine for the past three years now, no change, no hunt, no nothing alright? Stay out of my personal life and do you're job and maybe you'd have a better time at catching the people who killed my sister!" Brandon fumed as he turned to walk into the house and slammed the door so hard the house shook. Walking into the kitchen Brandon opened the deep freezer and found the Serum he had created to regress the Lycan traits. Loading a vile into the gun he injected himself with the serum and felt his teeth go back to normal and his hair shorten. He had been so close to shifting and it would have destroyed 3 years worth of work.

Sighing Brandon fixed himself a coup of coffee and walked into the living room turning on the evening news and started listening for any small noise that might mean Bethany had sneaked out once again.

Kateri

They made it home safely, though that didn’t seem to brighten the older brother’s mood at all. When they pulled in he made a point of telling her that her he meant to kill Lizzy’s murderers himself and to basically stay out of his way. Kateri frowned at him and told him off without batting an eyelash.

She could understand his feelings, but she couldn’t have a testy tiger running ramped in her city, especially not if he didn’t have control over his change. The tension in the man was palpable. All someone would have to do was sneeze when he wasn’t ready for it and he’d shift. Kateri moved closer, her aura washing over him again.

“When was the last time you shifted, Doctor Summers?” she asked looking him over again. He was picture perfect on the outside, a God nearly, but the inside? The inside was all a mess. And it didn’t take being an Omega to tell.

"What does that have to do with who murdered Lizzy!?" Brandon exclaimed tossing his hands into the air. If she wasn’t careful she’d be the one encouraging a stress shift. But Kateri knew what she was doing – this wasn’t the first time she’d tangled with a lycan who refused to shift.

"It doesn't but you are definitely not in control, it feels like you've been putting off the change. Where is your pack, your Alpha, as a matter of fact...why haven't I seen you on our lands?" She asked and just like she wanted he blurted it all out. He was keeping his animal self locked up, caged and struggling to get free with the grief of his lost sister.

Kateri stood with Beth and watched him storm into the house together and exchanged glances.

Bethany

Seeing the cop goad her brother into raging off into the house Bethany watched with raised eyebrows. Even Beth, a human for all intents and purposes, knew better than to poke at Brandon when he was bristling. They looked at each other and Kateri smiled tiredly.

“Sorry about him, he’s been walking a fine line since Lizzy died,” Beth told her apologetically. “He’s not usually so... hostile"

Kateri shrugged and nodded. “I deal with a lot of his type in my line of work. What he needs is a pack. A place he can shift safely without worrying about hurting people. And an Alpha he can trust. Do you mind going upstairs? I’m going to try talking him into coming out for a run,” Kateri said following the girl up the stairs to the front door.

Bethany nodded and looked at the door. The glass was cracked. Again. Beth sighed and shook her head as she opened the door and ushered the were female inside. They exchanged another look and Beth headed up the stairs.

Kateri

“Look Stripes, I think-” Kateri started as she walked into the living room to see Brandon on the couch with a coffee and a doped up look on his face. It was a look she’d seen on many a human face – but never on a were. They burned through drugs and plant sedatives too quickly for that. She inhaled and frowned.

“What have you done to yourself?" she asked, the question almost a whisper. When the man looked at her stubbornly she was through waiting for an answer she walked into the kitchen and found the vial on the counter. Picking it up she sniffed it and hissed, her lips pulling back from her teeth angrily.

When she returned to the living room she threw the vial in his lap. “This is poison!” she snarled, feeling her temper flare and her eyes flicker. She shook herself trying to rid herself of the trembling that came with her rage and then found only sadness. Slumping down into the sofa she ran her fingers through her hair with an exhausted sigh. “Why are you so afraid of your inner beast that you would make yourself sick? Why not just go to a pack for help?”

“Get lost Agent Dawnwalker,” Brandon growled, but with the drugs it came out half-hearted.

Kateri raised a brow and shook her head. “I can’t. At this point you’re a liability,” she told him flatly. “These are my lands you’re living on so until you get your act together you’re stuck with me. I can’t risk you hurting people or distributing your poison to our enemies.”

Brandon glared at her this time. “And who’s going to solve the case while you’re playing babysitter, smart ass?”

“I’ve got someone I can call in. He’s already looking into the case anyways so making it official shouldn’t bother him too much,” Kat said smugly. After all, if this was an incident involving vampires he would be better qualified anyways.

Bethany

Once she was upstairs Beth headed for her room. The vampire from the park had Agent Dawnwalker’s clearing of being okay. That meant she could trust that he wasn’t with the ones who killed her sister, right?
Emptying out her bag she put all of her magical paraphernalia away and emptied out her pockets. Keys, cell phone and the card the mysterious man gave her all went on the nightstand

Changing into her jammies she didn’t bother trying to be quiet – Brandon would be listening for signs of life upstairs now. Once her hair was braided back and she was comfortable in her bed she picked up the card and looked it over.

Kevin Adair. Though when she first glanced at it she could have sworn it said André. A phone number was listed below it. Running her thumb over the number she considered calling him. Agent Dawnwalker knew him, he was a vampire and he said he was looking into it.

The least she could do is talk to him and see what he knew about who was hunting her.

Picking up her cell she dialed the number with her thumbs and held the phone to her ear. The phone rang five times before going to a voicemail that only beeped. Her nose scrunched at the idea that he didn’t seem to want people to know who they were calling. Still...

“Uhm, hi. This is Bethany Summers. You scared the crap out of me in a park today? I was hoping I could talk to you about what happened to my sister. Uhm... ” she finished off the message telling his voicemail her phone number. Hanging up she looked at the phone wondering if talking to him would be a good idea.

Brandon

"You expect me to go with you somewhere and let you call in someone else to handle your job? Not very professional of you if I do say so myself, and besides. I'm head Doctor at Salem General, I can't just up and disappear, I have a Surgery tomorrow and a bunch of floor work, not to mention all the students who are doing their residency. You my have the luxury of being able to just take off at a moments notice I don't Dawnwalker. So even if I did say yes it's an impossibility" Brandon said standing up on shaking legs and stumbling into the hall way. Kateri followed him voicing her reasons why it could but he couldn't hear her, something was wrong, the medicine wasn't working like it normally did. It shouldn't have been taking this long to fully affect the tiger. Grabbing at his head Brandon slumped against the wall groaning and he dropped the mug, and before it hit the change had begun, but only his personalities.

Brandon(tiger)

After hours of beating at the cage and the poison he had injected he finally gained control but was weak from the medicine, there was only one thing that could fix it too and the female could make sure it wasn't disturbed. Turning the body looked the same but the Tiger was in control now, He fixed her with a glare of defiance and smiled a toothy grin.

"You can stop with the power display now Agent Dawnwalker, I don't need to be subdued like the Human does. Though thanks to you and your Omega energy it gave me the boost I needed to break free and for that you have my gratitude" He said walking over and taking the stunned woman's hand and lightly kissing the back of it. She squeaked in surprise and He smiled up at her again. "A cheetah? You don't see many of those around, they are usually native to the Amazon so my question to you is, Are you foreign?" He said softly into her ear as he trailed a finger down her jaw. Her reaction was to be expected as she flew across the hallway with her back to the other wall. He was a dominate spirit thanks to Brandon's father, he was a should be Alpha, so it was natural for her to be shocked at not only the change in control and mood but the change in emotions.

"I apologize, it's just been so long since I've been out and well, I missed yet another mating season I just couldn't help myself but attempt to flatter you. You are quite a fine looking woman if i do say so myself, however I have a feeling thats not why you're still here, nor is that the reason I'm keeping you here. You say you have land for Lycans?" He asked and she nodded not saying anything.

"Splendid that will work for me just fine, I personally need to get out and stretch like any good tiger does, I need a good hunt, and perhaps you'll come with? It's always more fun when two are hunting instead of just one" He said looking to Agent Dawnwalker.

"Two minutes ago you were biting my head off now you're all gun ho?" She asked having finally found her voice.

"Remember Agent, the human and I are separate beings right now. Let me run and I'll explain to you the situation I've been in for the last three years" He said walking to the coat rack and grabbing his jacket along with a set of keys and walking outside with the officer. "Shall we take one or two cars? I personally think it would be easier if we only took one, but then we'd be stranded there if you left us in the middle of nowhere" The tiger said laughing softly and she flushed.

"Why would I leave you alone when you are a danger?" She asked

"Oh so you'll be watching my every move then? Even better" He said in a low tone that he could see physically and mentally unraveled the Agent, he was enjoying his little game. She soon decided that one car was good enough and the tiger slid into the passengers seat.

"It's a little ways to the reservation, why don't you tell me now what all of this separation shit is about" The girl said and he chuckled she was impatient but he could understand it wasn't every day that a Lycan was both man and animal.

"It started about three years ago, It was the night of the full moon, the last night Brandon's father was around. They were going to go hunting with a small pack in another state but Brandon got called in that night. He was still fresh out of school and no one else wanted to work that night" He started.

"Brandon are you crazy, it's a full moon! You need to hunt, if you don't you'll go mad" Brandon's father said.

"I know but at the same time they need someone and I'm fresh out of school refusing would look bad, Look I'll go in, help them clear the floor and be back in time to hunt before the nights over I swear. It's probably not even that bad but I have to at least go in for a little while ok?" Brandon said.

"I'm not going to tell you I told you so when this happens but it will happen. Something is going to go wrong and you'll change in the middle of that hospital Brandon. I just hope that no one will see it" His father said as he pulled away in his truck and Brandon sighed. He appreciated his fathers worry but honestly Brandon would be fine, It was probably just a bunch of sick kids from playing in the snow or not taking proper care of themselves this winter. Getting in his car Brandon made his way to the hospital and when he got there it was as he expected, a bunch of sicknesses a few worrying mothers because their babies had high fevers and one Delivery that he was able to push off on some one else. Brandon was just about to leave for the night when the doors burst open and a Crash cart with a mangled body came rushing by.

The scent of blood hung heavy in the air and it caused Brandon to spike in his primal need to hunt that night but he had to shove it back for now, no one else in the hospital had training for Surgery, he had majored in it. Following one of the nurses she handed him a clip board and started telling him the information.

"It's bad Dr. Summers,One car crash, at least three broken ribs and a punctured lung, serious internal bleeding and a dislocated shoulder. She hasn't been conscious since getting into the ambulance, they've been trying to revive her since they started here" the nurse said

"Get her into a room now, I need everyone who is available in that room stat!" Brandon yelled as he pulled on a mask and washed his hands quickly before pulling on gloves. Once he was in the room he set to work gold eyes flickering in and out and his teeth growing sharper with each passing second. He could feel the change coming on the more and more he fought to keep this poor woman alive but everything he did she didn't show signs of getting better. Finally after half an hour of working and clamping and removing he had to call it, she was too far gone. Everyone left but Brandon was fixated on the mangled corpse of what once used to be a twenty-four year old woman. He removed his mask and before he knew what he was doing licked the blood off his gloves. He then started on the table and the body and once all the blood was gone and the hunger was satisfied he went to wash up and then looked in the mirror.

He didn't recognize himself, he had completely blanked on what had happened before it all came back. That was HUMAN blood on his face. He has just sated himself on human blood, not animal HUMAN blood! He began shaking violently and sank to the floor in terror, was that what he was? A blood hungry monster every full moon that only killed animals because he was pulled away from humans?

"And then he went running out of the building screaming his head off and he never shifted again. He spent about two weeks in an asylum and in that time was working on a medical formula with his own blood and some chemicals he had access to and came up with what he used tonight. After that night I was never allowed out again, I was a monster to him and he believed he himself was a monster. So thats our history in a nutshell" The tiger said looking out the window realizing he could no longer see city lights but only dark shadow covered forests.

Kateri

Kat focused on driving while Brandon’s tiger side regaled her with the story of how he had come to be caged within himself. His human side had lost control during a full moon. It was more common in the Moon Dancer type packs – creatures who chose only to shift with the full moon. And so he had suppressed the beast permanently so he wouldn’t be afraid to hurt people again.

Only because of that he was more likely to hurt people when the beast took full control. The beast had a sharper temper and fell into berserker rage easier. So Kateri would have to try her best not to set him off.

Though, if her inner beast was to be believed, it wasn’t likely the tiger would hurt her. Kateri had the sneaking suspicion she was keeping things from her, but she would deal with that later.

“I’m sorry your bond has been so out of balance,” Kateri apologized as she turned down one of the gravel roads onto pack lands. “But if you’ll help me, maybe we can restore it. It’s not safe or healthy for him to be so out of touch.”

She was quiet for a few moments before parking and looking at him. “Say, how come you’re in control and didn’t shift immediately? I thought when the human lost control it was pretty much instant,” she asked looking him over. Her inner cat purred appreciatively.

Are you crazy? You want him as a mate?

When you are finished helping him he will be a fine mate.

You are crazy.

“I don’t want complete control. I want our bond back. In order to do that he needs to see that I am not just the beast,” he explained as he slid out of the jeep.

Kateri watched him for a moment and sighed.

Okay, I can admit, the beast side of him is pretty attractive. He’s certainly less tightly wound than his human side…

The human will relax when the bond is repaired.

Whatever you say…

Sliding out of the jeep Kateri peaked over the roof of her car. “Do you need some privacy for this shift?” she asked and got her answer when he nodded and headed off for the woods.
Stripping her clothes off she folded them on the car seat and spent a few moments stretching. She’d realized over the years that if she stretched first the change wasn’t so bad. Then she dropped to her knees and called to her cheetah and tried not to cry out when her bones began to shift.

Five agonizing minutes later a cheetah lay in her place, panting as she waited for the numbness of the change to wear off.

The tiger walked through the trees till he found a lake and paused at it's shores for a few moments before sighing. It had been three long years since he had separated them and for those three years the tiger felt nothing but remorse. He had never meant to do it, it was just the hunger drove him to madness, neither knew what they were doing but Brandon thought other wise. Walking from the lake side he removed his shirt laying it at the base of a tree and then worked his belt out of his pants. Soon he took off his shoes socks and Pants and sighed, it would be a long, slow, and painful process this turn. The body itself had been out of practice for three years but the separation of souls would make it all the more difficult. Slowly the tiger focused the energies inside of him as he sat on the grass under the tree, it was something he hadn't needed to do since they were young. Finally he felt the change begin to take over and he cried out in agonizing pain.

Writhing and twisting on the earthen floor the tiger slowly took form, His arms shortened and his legs started to thicken out. His chest caved in for a moment before expanding to that of a tigers and soon he was down on all fours. Next his teeth elongated and his ears appeared. Soon a tail and then the rest of his fur started covering his body. By the time it was over he laid in the grass panting wishing the pain would stop but it wasn't completely over. The joints were stiff for not having been shifted in so long, he needed to move. Standing up on shaking legs he felt like a newborn cub that couldn't take care of himself and for a moment just stood there. Soon he stretched hearing bones and joints crack and snap in almost pleasure. Shortly after the stretching was over the tiger looked around with his heightened senses and put his nose to the air. Sniffing he could smell everything, something he had missed for a long time, he felt one with nature again, the pads of his paws dug into the ground a little his claws scratching the dirt as he arched his back letting out a soft roar like yawn.

Soon he paused however, he realized he was no longer alone, but this shouldn't have surprised him, he wasn't the one who came out here. The officer, now in Cheetah form appeared from the wood looking worried and sat at the tree line a few yards away. Walking over to her the tiger sized her up as he made a circle around her tail swishing back and forth slowly before h nudged her with his broad shoulder. She seemed to take this as a hint and he could see her relax a little, probably scared from the sounds he was making. The tiger made one final circle around the cheetah and then bounded off catching her off guard. He could tell she raced after him but he had no intentions of slowing down, there was nothing that could stop him for tonight he was free. Free to do what he pleased and could not cause any more harm to the delicate balance between beast and man. In the midst of his run the tiger caught whiff of a deer and smiled, veering off his running path on a sharp ninety degree angle he had to use a tree to stop his forward momentum.

Taking off in the new direction he caught up to the deer in only a matter of seconds chasing it further into the forest. He could have taken it down at any point but he was enjoying the freedom of the hunt, the adrenalin of changing him down before the kill. Soon he leaped for the deer and took to down claws sunk into it's neck and the tiger pulled himself onto the kill biting down into the animals throat and killing it swiftly. Then he paused even he had a flash back to the OR, The tiger sat back, blood covering his mouth and he looked at the animal for a moment before laying next to it. Soon he heard the crunch of a branch and looked up to see the Agent walk through the brush panting.

He nodded his head towards the catch and got up starting to eat a little of the deer while she came over, however what surprised him was that she came to him, not the food. She sat next to him, her tail flicking back and forth and he could feel her energies start to wash over him and he growled his displeasure and she stopped with a socked look. He looked away from her for a moment and finished the meat in his mouth before he shifted back, slightly quicker than her shift to a tiger.

"I don't need your sympathy, nor do I need you to try and console me with your omega tricks, I'm not part of your pack. Just because it works doesn't mean to abuse the power" He said and then she herself shifted back.

"I was just trying to help" She said softly

"There is no point in you getting involved in this matter more than you already are. This is my fault, my doing, nothing you can do will make it better. All you have to do is get him to listen to me, I have to handle the rest" He said looking at the deer. "For a moment there, after the kill, I saw that woman" He said quietly as he looked away. He hadn't ever really thought it would affect him as bad as it did Brandon but he took it pretty hard as well. "Maybe if I had fought Brandon and told him myself to just go with his father we wouldn't be like this. But I let him make the choice and trusted him that he would be ok. I shouldn't have been so stupid to believe this wouldn't have happened" He said resting his hands on his legs, which were folded under him now.

"it's in the past now, all we can do is attempt to fix the bond and restore you to your true self Brandon" The female said.

"You know my first name but I only know you by your last, hardly seems fair don't you think?" He said trying to make a lighter situation.

"Kateri, Kateri Dawnwalker. But you can call me Kat" She said a little more upbeat and he smiled, it was a nice name.

"Well then Kat, I thank you for what ever help you can give however, the full moon is close to over, I can feel the sun rising. And as much as I would love to stay out here longer and enjoy more time as my self I sadly can not. Can I tell you something however?" He asked her.

"And what would that be?" She responded.

"Do everything in your power to make him listen, I need to tell him how I truly feel, I'm dying over this, I've just not been the same and that poison. I need you to keep him from doing this to himself, I couldn't care less what happens to me but he's running himself into the ground. He's always angry, hostile, threatening, I do what I can from inside to keep his temper in check but sometimes my own rage spills and he flips his shit. Like earlier this evening, He was mad at Bethany on top of being hungry and needing a run, and then my own emotions ran wild which is why the poison wasn't working and I was able to break free of my bonds. So please you have to promise me you'll try and help him" He said taking her hand in one of his.

"I'll do my best but thee is only so much I can do off of pack lands, and he is dead set on continuing to work" She said and the tiger stopped for a moment, he then gained an idea.

"Follow me back to the lake, I have a plan" The tiger said before going back through the process of shifting which took dramatically less time this go around. Soon they returned to the pond after having finished their kill and Brandon shifted back and fished the cell phone out of the pocket. He smiled as he called out the Hospital and waiting for the receptionist to answer.

"Hello and thank you for calling Salem General, my name is Amanda, how can I direct your call" a female voice said

"Hello Amanda this is Dr. Summers, I need to take some time off, now I know I have an extensive amount of vacation hours if memory serves me it's about 6 months or so? Can you tell the board of directors I'm finally taking their advice on going for a vacation and give all of my work to Dr. Jackson? He's the only one I can trust with the rest of my work" He said and the line was silent.

"one moment Dr. Summers I need to patch you through to the board" the girl said.

After he explained the situation the board was more than willing to allow the time off considering the death and then all the time he was saving. They almost cried when he said he was going to take it off and he ending the call laughing as he looked to the shocked Kat.

"Well thats that, he's free as of tonight, I'll leave him a note before I go to bed tonight, I also told them if I were to show up on site i was to be forcefully removed from the building no matter what I said, that recently I had been suffering from delusions and Bethany will back me on that. She's a good kid and knows her brother needs this, so I'll just need to fill her in when I get home" He said and the officer nodded.

"Before that however, we need to get cleaned up, I don't want take you back covered in blood" Kat said walking to the water.

"Does this mean we'll be taking a bath together like lovers?" He said in deep tone that made her freeze at waters edge and turn on him with a flushed face.

"No...now cut that shit out! You...may be attractive but you're not whole right now, maybe MAYBE once you're back together we can revisit that notion ok?" She sputtered and he laughed, it was so interesting to see her squirm like that, attractive must have been the best no incriminating word she could come up with on the fly. Nodding he followed her down to waters edge and got in scrubbing the blood from his body.

Kateri

Walking into the cool water of the lake Kat sighed and sank down to float on the water. It was surprisingly freeing to swim in the nude, in a way she always found surprising. But usually she was alone and only did lake dips to clear her thoughts. Unlike the tiger, water wasn’t the cheetah’s second home.

Still, it was relaxing to let go and allow the lake to carry her weight for even a few moments.

What mess had she charged headfirst into this time? Helping a halved lycan who’s human half didn’t even want to be helped? And how was she supposed to accomplish this?

Well, first thing was first. She was going to destroy his stash of poison. Then find his notes on it and burn them. That junk was vile and would slowly kill him and if it fell into the wrong hands it would give the legions of supernatural haters an edge they couldn’t afford.

But then?

How was she supposed to convince him to leave his sister to go on a retreat to save himself? Kat was pretty sure she would never have left her brother if she knew vampires were hunting him. Only Brandon didn’t. Brandon believed his sister was killed by someone who meant to kill her simply because she was a witch. So to him Bethany wasn’t in any immediate danger.

But she couldn’t just leave Beth without any defences. Would she come to the pack lands? Probably not, after all, like her brother she refused to give up her work for mourning. But she had met Andrei… and Andrei was kind of a push over when it came to ladies in distress… not to mention sex witches. He’d likely take it upon himself to try to get her for himself – but at least he wouldn’t kill her. Kateri had seen his ‘pets’ before and they were all well taken care of…

“Having a nap there?” a deep voice purred.

Kateri’s eyes flicked opened and she felt her cheeks flush as she looked up at Brandon’s glittery gold eyes seconds before her head bumped into his torso. On instinct she sank and then righted herself awkwardly – an odd thing for her. Kat was hardly awkward. But this guy - he seemed to make her awkward a lot. Standing she looked at him and smiled apologetically. “Lost in thought,” she told him. “I’m not sure how I’m going to get your human side on board with the idea of you becoming one again.

“I’m sure you’ll find a way, Brandon isn’t as hard as he appears,” the tiger purred pulling her close and tracing her jaw with his thumb. “I after all have the incentive to nudge him to your plans.”

Then their lips brushed and for a moment Kat’s mind blanked as her heart drum-rolled in her chest. And then reality set in and she squeaked, pushing him back into the water. She hadn’t meant to push him that hard but – but damn!

Y-you cant just go around kissing people like that! What the crap! Get your own shit sorted out before trying to get all up in mine!” she snapped, a panting wet mess. Stepping back she took a moment to wring her hair out and then walked to the shore. “I’ll meet you at the car.

The rest of her walk was a grumbling of motherfuckers and other unsavory words. Was the tiger just playing games with her just because he could? Well, if not for the glittery eyes, his self-assured sex appeal would certainly be a red flag that he was in control. She didn’t know Brandon’s human side very well, but he didn’t come off as Casanova to her. Sure he had his own sex appeal, but he seemed like the type to want to know a girl before playing tonsil tennis.

Shoving her clothes on she slid into the jeep and waited. Leaning back into the seat she scooped up her phone from a cup holder and send a quick text to Andrei.

[Pack business came up and I’m going to need a few days…weeks maybe. Seeing as you’ve already stuck your nose into my case you can take charge of it until I get this sorted out. You already know what we know. The girl might be the real target – you’ll have to protect her.]

Hitting send she deleted the message once the sent bar finished and put the phone back in the cup holder. Closing her eyes she sank down into the seat and tried to plan out how to deal with her new bucket of trouble.

First thing was first, this kitten needed some sleep. And Brandon’s couch sounded pretty comfy right about now.

Brandon

After Kat left the pond the tiger stayed for awhile looking at the slowly fading star light above him, it was a good feeling to be on the outside again, one he had missed. Sighing he let himself float on the water softly going where the tiny ripples would take him. Soon however he grew tired of the floating and could feel the human side of him beginning to wake up from the overwhelming power of the tiger. Swimming back to shore he changed, shook dry and then changed back now with it being easy as the first hunt with her father he got dressed and walked back through the woods to the jeep. Once he was back on the road he waved to the officer and got into the car and she started driving them back to the city.

"Well you know my past, why not enlighten me on some of yours Mrs. Dawnwalker" He said softly as he rested his arms behind his head. He hadn't bothered to button his shirt so this action showed his chiseled stomach and chest, not something he did on purpose.

"Not...not much to talk about really, I work for the feds, I had a brother but he got killed in the line of action" She said and it hung heavy in the air.

"I see, and what of your mentor? what was he like?" He asked

"He was...a good man, and great at his job. My brother and I had a shaky start with him but it got better as we got closer. In the end though it was the lost of my brother that drove him to an early retirement, it killed him almost as much as it killed me" She said and the mood only got more somber.

"Damn, sorry I asked, didn't mean to drudge up bad memories" The tiger said a little ashamed of himself for being so idiotic.

"Don't apologize, it happened I got my grieving in, I moved on like he would have wanted. Jason was very devoted to his work, and kept me devoted as well so If I slacked I would be hurting him more than just moving on" She said and the tiger nodded. She was level headed about it and not at all jumpy on the subject but something still felt off, like she wasn't giving up the whole truth. Letting it go for now they made their way back into the city and back to the house and they walked in together and He closed the door behind them.

"Well, welcome to our home, I don't have a spare room for you to sleep in like you wanted but the couch is mighty comfortable. Coffee is in the cupboard over the maker, cups in the one next to that, sugar is in the tin beside the fridge. Uh...Bathroom is up the stairs and the first door on the right and my room is at the end of the hallway for the morning just in case he sleeps in. So other than that mi casa es tu casa" He said smiling as he walked up the stairs and turned off into the bathroom. His time was running short and he needed to stay out just a little while longer, He needed to make it look like nothing happened. turning on the tap the tiger wet a toothbrush and brushed his teeth vigorously. Then he grabbed the mouth wash and washed him mouth out like he was trying to wash his teeth away.

As he walked back to the bedroom he was chewing some gum and finally once he was in the room he took a mint from Brandon's dresser. Once he was done with the mint he grabbed the notebook that was basically a journal of the days events to keep Brandon sane since the murder the tiger turned to a new page.

Long time no see Brandon

I just want you to know nothing happened last night, I know it's been a long time since you and I have talked...Listen I don't want to do this anymore. I talked with the Lycan officer after you lost control, we talked and explored something we both felt and I know its what we needed. God I feel like your parent here, but you don't work for the next 6 and a half months, I used all of your saved up time off. We need to fix our self ok, We both know I never meant to do that three years ago but you never talked with me. I only want to be whole again and she can help. Kateri Dawnwalker, she's strong Brandon, and interested in us, and so is her Lycan so please...work with her.

With much regret and sorrow
Your Lycan

Finishing the note the tiger went and laid down in bed and when his eyes closed his control slipped away leaving the human soul in control and asleep.

Andrei

Walking out of his mothers room in the coven Andrei had his cell phone on silent and had his house phone routed to it. Thanks to that little wiring trick he noticed he had two messages waiting for him and he listened to them as he made his way to the front of the Coven. Listening intently to the second message he smiled, well then, things were about to get very interesting. Would the mentor come back to his old Pupil or would they forever keep working with each other from a distance? Once the message was over he closed the phone and reached into the pocket of his jacket and pulled out a pack of Black cigars, cherry flavored. Lighting it and taking a slow drag from it Andrei leaned against the cold stone wall of the coven as the light slowly streaked across the sky. He would need to get home soon, He also needed to have his ring enchanted again the spell was waring off and he would need to be able to operate in the daylight again if he were to take on this mission.

Soon his car pulled up and he smiled to the young man who had vomited at the sight of the dead body earlier.

"I'm sorry about earlier sir, I feel very embarrassed" The boy said and Andrei chuckled.

"Fret not young one, you are still new to the world of the Damned, you'll get used to seeing our dealings with time, just make sure to keep yourself sane. Remember we're not like the stories, we've changed much, well save a few at least but we have no need to worry about that" Andrei said walking around to the driver side and pulling out a small bill fold and tossing it to the kid. "Hey, don't let anyone else see that ok? keep it it's yours" Andrei said knowing full well there was a couple grand there.

A he drove off he could see in his rear view mirror that the boy was shocked at the amount and he simply smiled. What with his payments from the Special forces when he was part of the force and his side job as an underground fighter he had plenty of money to be tossing around like it was nothing. Driving through town at the crack of dawn he reached his house and found a Car in his driveway and he paused for a moment as he looked at the style and model of the car and then sighed, one of his brothers. Pulling into the driveway a female stepped out in a business like attire and leaned against her car tapping a perfectly manicured nail against she arm. Even better, it was his bride-to-be, unfortunately Andrei never could remember her name.

"I've been waiting here for hours Andrei, you know how he hates to wait" The female said as Andrei pulled himself out of the car.

"Oh shush Angelica" He said tiredly and she fumed, wrong again.

"ANDREA! For the 5 thousandth time it's Andrea ok? A-N-D-R-E-A!" She spouted at the top of her undead lungs and Andrei sighed.

"I know, you just annoy the ever living hell out of me, anyway what does he want this time?" Andrei asked as he motioned towards his house and she followed him.

"I don't know all he did was give me a message and a recording he's very busy right now at the FBI headquarters for the division of the supernatural, something about a widespread murder of Female witches spanning from this area to the middle east and Europe" She said and Andrei froze for a moment.

"It's more serious than we thought...Come in there is much to be discussed" Andrei said dropping all childishness and went full business, This was now not a little concern this was dangerous on a massive scale.

Kateri

Even with being invited in by the Brandon’s tiger Kateri still felt like an unwelcome guest in the house. After all Brandon would be pretty cranky when he came to. But she knew she needed to be here for him. Even if he didn’t want her there she had to make sure he was alright. After all, her inner cat had already decided.

She stayed up at first, making herself a cup of tea and sitting down on the couch to mull things over while listening to Brandon get ready for bed. The Tiger had said he would sort out explaining things to Brandon and Kateri wondered how after all this time he would make the human side of him understand how important it was.

Once Kat heard him stop fidgeting upstairs she put down her mug and listened hard. Only faintly she could hear him breathing. Waiting until it evened out to the peaceful throes of slumber she walked into the kitchen and began boxing up the serum he’d made. Once she had it together she pulled out her phone and dialled. Holding the phone to her ear she murmured the address and hung up. Then she set off for his office.

Finding the notes had been trial of her patience – but one didn’t get to her position without experience in rummaging through peoples things. First she cracked the password on his computer and erased the files for it. But she wasn’t done then. She was willing to bet a brain like Brandon would have a hard copy. Once she had the sheets she took them to the kitchen and lit them up waiting until the last of the white pages turned to ash in the sink before rinsing them down.

By then the truck arrived and Kateri handed the box of the rest of his serum to a uniformed man with a nametag reading Darryl. Instructing him to place the box in her office she thanked him and closed the door.

Now that the world was safe from Brandon’s concoction Kateri was ready to ease up. Only by then it was around nine in the morning and Bethany was getting up. The girl deserved an explanation as to why Kateri was kidnapping her brother. So Kateri waited, listening to the girl get ready before the steady thump-thump of her coming down the stairs.

Kat explained to the young girl about the duality of selves lycans experience and what can happen when the two are parted. Even with only the jist of things Bethany seemed to understand the dangers it posed to both Brandon and the people around him. Kat assured her that she was putting someone competent on the case while she worked on her brother and helped her get a lunch ready for work and washed her tea mug.

Beth was gone by 11.

For someone who was tired at dawn she really had pushed herself to stay up. Shimmying out of her jeans she dropped them on the floor and bunched up her jacket for a pillow. Stealing the throw blanket from the back of the couch she curled up and let the darkness take her.

Bethany

Heading out into the sunshine Bethany walked for her car and slid in. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a small Honda Civic, but it got her from place to place. Tossing her purse on the passenger seat she closed the door and buckled up. After fishing her keys out of the purse she started the car and pulled out heading for the mall.

Knowing now that the bad guys were vampires brought it’s own comforts. It meant daylight was safe and so was her house so long as she didn’t let anyone strange inside. Still… vampires were hunting her. Why?

Beth didn’t know much about being a succubus except that it was inconvenient when she was scared and got her a job pretty easily. And since she didn’t have to work until 6 tonight she had time to go to the library. She wanted to know more about herself and the vampires that were after her and even though she doubted there would be anything there she had to look.

After twenty minutes of singing along to the radio she parked her car in front of the library and headed in.

Hours passed and though Beth found out a lot of interesting folklore she knew she couldn’t rely on it. After all in a world where just about everyone ate garlic regularly how could a vampire feed?

But it was time to head into work now so she gathered her things, checked two books out and headed for the car.

Andrei

By the time they had discussed everything Andrei knew so far and got filled in on the information that His brother had gathered he sighed leaning back in his chair in his study looking at the woman in front of him. This was perfect, not only were they having multiple murders in Salem but it didn't look like it stopped here, these were happening all over the world right now. As far as he knew there was only one Succubus that wasn't claimed right now, however that was for sure the reason all these killings were going on. For all they knew these killings could be happening for another purpose and Andrei had no idea where to start with an investigation if it was happening everywhere. Sighing he leaned stood up and regarded his guest with hand and helped her up, there was nothing more they could do for right now.

I'll contact you as soon as I have more information, give my brother my best regards. Also tell him that mother wishes to see him soon, she has been terribly lonely and I have to go back onto the force for a time so most of my free time will be taken from now on. Also tell him that if he plans on coming into town that this time, not to send his whole coven after my head, I don't feel like fighting them right now. He said as she got in her car with a smile and waved to her husbands brother. Watching her drive off Andrei waved to the girl and went back inside, he needed to unwind after tonight and what a better place to do it other than Mama J's. To clarify Momma J's was one of the most renowned Brothels in Salem for the supernatural. It was kind of a find all sex shop for mortals and other supernaturals. They had fairies, Lycans, nymphs, humans and even some succubi but they were strictly for the owners of the girls. The reason they were allowed to work there by their masters was because they brought in huge money, and well some of them were greedy.

Soon Andrei was on his way into town wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, he decided on walking and enjoying the night air as he listened to the city thrive in life. He honestly couldn't imagine this town falling silent under the hands of death. Soon he found himself on the right road justly named by humans Supernatural Desire street and he looked at the glowing sign depicting Mama J's. Walking to the doors he looked at the Door guard and the man looked back at him. Andrei paused for a minute and the man raised an eyebrow.

"Gonna stand there all day or are you gonna show me some ID?" The guy said.

Just go tell Mama J's that one of her VIP's are here, I left my wallet at home, I never bring it when I come here Andrei said and the man looked at him for a moment but then turned and walked inside. Soon the man came back out pale and didn't even regard Andrei before opening the rope to let him in.

"I'm terribly sorry Mr. Adair...please forgive me" The man said and Andrei laughed, Mama J did it again. Patting the mans shoulder Andrei walked in and was instantly hit with the smell of what ignited his Vampire. Human blood had been split in here this evening, probably another bar fight over one of the girls. However he wasn't here for just any girl, thanks to Kateri just Volunteering him to be on the case he was granted full access to reports. So he knew he work schedule and knew that she would be here tonight, and in fact should be here right now. Walking to the bar he didn't even get to sit down before a rather large woman appeared and hugged him, he knew it was mama J with out even looking at her. She had come up from behind him but he knew that bear hug anywhere.

"It's good to see you Fangs!" She yelled over the music and Andrei groaned.

Must you call me that every damn time you see me woman! he joked with her.

"Yes! I gave you the damn nickname and by god I'm gonna use it!" She said walking back around behind the bar to announce the next dancer. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, tonight is a very special night you all know her and love her, It's Beth! you know the drill bidding starts at 5 grand" She said and soon Andrei's attention was pulled to stage as five or six men came rushing to the bar to offer their bids. His target had been hand delivered to him on a silver platter, well his job couldn't have become much easier than this. Reaching into his jacket pocket he pulled out his old badge for a second then put it away, he wasn't an official cop again yet, so that would do him no good. Turning back around he noticed that mama J finished counting the money and he looked at her.

"You look like you wanna place a bet hunny, going right now is 25 grand you got that kinda money on you right now?" She asked and Andrei scoffed.

When do I ever carry less than 50 grand on me at a time? I'm just waiting for the right moment to place my bet, don't wanna chance losing a Succubus He said and she jumped a little.

"You know!?" She exclaimed

Yes, I'm also here to protect her. I'm going back to the force for awhile, and she is my main objective, she was the target of that murder last week, but I'll pay my dues He said pulling out money from his jeans pocket and tossed a wad of cash on the table. Count it, it's all there he said turning to watch the stage.

Brandon

His head felt like it was about to explode just from the early morning sunlight trickling in through his window, gods what had happened to him last night? He remembered coming home and taking his serum but what happened after that? getting out of bed he realized he fell asleep fully dressed and this alarmed him, he never did that...ever! He quickly looked around his room and then noticed his bedroom door was closed, something else he never did. Waling over to it he found the piece of paper tacked there with a thumb tack and ripped it off reading the note slowly.

Your Lycan

He crushed the paper in his hands and kick his bedroom door open and charged downstairs finding the fed asleep on his couch. Looking at the clock and saw it was saying 2pm. He walked into his kitchen and filled a pot with water and slowly walked back into the living room. Readying himself he slung the pot of water in her direction watching the water flow from the pot and drench the girl causing her to shriek in surprise. It was then that he realized she had no pants on and felt a pulse inside him he knew had to be the tiger and stomped on it with rage. looking at the girl dripping wet he fumed.

GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AND STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME AND MY SISTER! He yelled at the top of his lungs and the woman simply stood there, shivering from the cold water but just stood there. HE was tempted to throw the pot at her but instead decided to charge in one her and get in her face. I said now He said again and this time she socked him in the nose and kneed him in the gut. He grunted but it more caught him off guard than hurt him but he did drop to one knee.

I can forgive the asshole wake up call but you get in my face like that and I'll take you down Summers. You need me, or I'm just gonna have to lock you up and drag you to pack lands anyway. Your lycan is trying to make amends with you, so do it the easy way and just fucking come with me She said and he growled picking her up by the throat and tossing her across the house into the dinning room.

FUCK YOU! was his response and lunged for her and the started a good two hours of fighting in his house that ultimately ended in him being pinned with her straddling his chest. He tried everything in his power to get up but she had him pinned down good and finally he just gave up and looked up at her and saw an emotion in her eyes that pissed him off once more, pity. I don't need your god damned pity, he's a beast, a monster that will stop at nothing to get his fill of blood

And thats the exact reason why you need my help, He's already called for your time off. I have officers stationed there, your only logical option is to come with me summers She said and he was baffled by this information, in one night they had effectively out played every single one of his options.

What about Beth, who is taking care of her if I'm away on some bullshit Beast taming quest? he said and she smiled explaining to him that someone very capable was already called in and on the case. It took her another good 2 hours of arguing and debating but she finally managed to get him to accept the forced offer and they were in the jeep to the reserve.

By the way, I'm the Alpha of these lands so for the next Six months you don't talk to anyone, you don't interact with anyone, you don't look at anyone but me do you understand? I'll not have fights break out on my lands she said and he simply stayed silent watching houses and buildings being traded for trees and mountains. Something told him that this six month retreat would be very dangerous in the long run and not only for him but for his sister too. He wasn't there to protect her anymore and he had no idea who WOULD be protecting her. On top of all of that he knew now something was going on between the fed and the tiger, he wouldn't have reacted that way when he saw her pants less unless something had already happened. Sighing he looked out the window and tried to forget about all of it when he saw a massive clearing and a bunch of people running around and he could only assume that they had reached Her lands.

Brandon

They watched from the bedroom that so conveniently pointed out towards the back yard the "training" that Kateri was partaking in. For now Brandon and the Tiger were harmonious with one another for a common goal, they both wanted to know more about this woman. Brandon kept telling himself it was so he knew how to fight her when the time arose but the tiger knew better and he assumed that Brandon knew as well. As they watched the tiger felt pride in the fact that he knew he could get a rise out of her at any time and these boys had to fight her for a rise.

hey fur for brains, what was that whole little stun you pulled last night for anyway? The voice of Brandon asked.

Exactly what it seemed Brandon, it was to show you that she is into you, and that you're into her. No matter how hard you fight it you know deep down inside that you're meant to be with her. You've always wanted a woman who could take care of herself and not have to protected every waking moment but still feminine enough to need her knight every once and awhile. That is what she has to offer if you'd only come to your sense and join with me The tiger said softly watching as the man from the night before landed on his neck and shoulders and even the Tiger could make out the subtle pop of a dislocated shoulder.

She's not strong she's ruthless, that was a very dangerous move. She could have easily killed him with that! Brandon said his inner doctor kicking in.

Relax Summer, they are Lycan a dislocation to them is like a scratch to us, you'd know this if we hadn't separated and you poisoned yourself. They are fighting her for the Role of Alpha, not just her hand, or in this case the right to be her mate. Technically we should be out there right now fighting along with them The tiger said with a low rumbling purr.

Don't get any bright ideas, I'm not looking for a Pack to call mine, I already told you I'm not going to join back with you! He said and the tiger sighed walking away from the window and looking at the floor length mirror that showed the humans reflection this time instead of the other way around like at the lake.

And what will your father think when he see's this? You've not told him correct? He felt your call to an Alpha you know, a bond between father and son can reach across the world for Lycans and he was only 10 hours away, I'm sure he is already on his way as we speak. What will he think when he finds you in this condition The tiger said and watched the horror befall the humans face.

Fa-fath-FATHER!? Oh no no no no, he CAN'T come here! If he were to come here he would have my head for being like this and not telling him! The human said frantically and the tiger couldn't help but chuckle as he watched the image of the man pace back and forth.

Calm yourself, even if we aren't whole you understand the severity of what that would mean? So why do you still fight me tooth and nail? The tiger asked and Brandon stopped and looked at the man on the other side of his psyche.

Because you're a monster who fed on Human blood! He said, it was the same age old tired argument and to be honest the Tiger was starting of getting tired of hearing that complaint.

IT'S AS MUCH YOUR FAULT AS MINE! The tiger finally snapped and this caused the image in the mirror to Jump. You chose to go to the hospital that night, not go hunting, YOU made that choice. Be glad it was an already dead human being and not a live one! I did something that I needed to so i wouldn't go Crazy and the body needed cleaning anyway. Did you ever think I might have been in pain while doing it!? HAD YOU EVER CONSIDERED THAT OPTION! I didn't want to drink her blood, I didn't want to defile her like that but it was handy and quick, I'm not proud of it nor am I going to say I am completely to blame. I admit it was wrong but YOU were the one that gave me no choice Brandon Summers. He said with a fury in his eyes and the human seemed to take this to heart for he was silent for a good 2 minutes before looking back at the tiger who had taken to sitting on the bed.

I-I never thought of it that way He said softly and the Tiger huffed.

no of course you didn't because you were to busy Damning my name to think logically for a moment and think to ask how I had felt about it. Now listen you can mope and groan but I'm not about to have my ass skinned alive by our father because you're a stubborn ass. Hide for a week inside and I'll handle this ok? I remember enough about how we used to act I can make this look believable. The tiger said and he was surprised to see Brandon actually accept and felt a peace come over him, he had full control.

For a week tops, thats it...A day over and I'll fight you tooth and nail on coming back out. He said with a tiny smirk and the Tiger actually had a feeling that they had just made a little bit of progress. Walking out of the room he walked downstairs and noticed Natalie was in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee and Bran was reading the paper and he smiled to them both before turning and walked out the back door. Standing on the back porch he watched the fighting come to a close and then cleared his throat for a moment and everyone looked at him and the boy from last night flinched.

I believe you have one more opponent to fight Kateri, and the way I look at it, you'll get a very nice work out The tiger said and she looked at him with a look of anger and intrigue. As the Tiger walked over to her he looked her over and getting into a stance.

you really wanna try this Summers? She asked and he smiled nodding his head as she lunged for him and he grabbed her tight flinging her back towards the house watching her land on one of the posts gracefully and dropping to the ground blinking.

yeah I'm sure, come at me with everything you got, and by the way, whats in it if I win?

"Standing rule is who ever can beat her gets a date with her, but you don't stand a chance, that was just a lucky grab!" One kid said and he looked back and realized it wasn't the kid from before but another. He let the comment go because he now had motivation for fighting with his full might.

A date hm? sounds enticing, I can already see where we're going to go tonight, I hop[e you have a nice set of clothing dress is formal he said and she looked at him with a smug grin.

You still gotta win summers, don't count your chickens just yet! She said lunging for him. Their fight lasted for about an hour filled with attacks, blocks, grapples, and a few very painful submission holds but in the end the Fight was in his favor. Poised over her with her arm twisted backwards and his knee in her sternum if she moved he could easily break her arm or knock her out by loss of oxygen and everyone seemed amazed even Kat.

How did you... she started and he smiled.

motivation from BOTH sides of me, miss Dawnwalker he said softly so only they could hear before getingup and walking inside the house to a very amused Mother and father of the beaten.

Kateri

She lay on the ground staring up at the white puffs of cloud that marred the perfect blue of the sky, her breath coming in shallow pants that spoke of the effort she’d spent fighting with Brandon. It had been a long time since she’d lost a fight against another lycan, not since Jace was alive.

She’d lost to Brandon… and he knew the terms of the morning arrangement. A date. She blinked with the realization and felt her cheeks flush. The tiger must have pushed him, or was in control. But a date was a date. She wondered where he would be taking her.

“Miss Kateri are you alright?” one of the suitors, Evan, asked.

Craning her neck to look at him she offered a wry smile. “I’m fine, just a little surprised that I lost,” she explained, her voice absent. Fortunately with the effort the fight took no one would suspect the flush of her cheeks not to be from the exercise. Sitting up she ran a hand through her grimy dust filled hair and groaned.

Formal attire? Well, it had also been a good year or so since she last had to wear a dress. She had loads – her mother was always hoping one day she would turn back into the pretty princess she’d always wanted.

Easing up to her feet Kateri bade farewell to the men and thanked them for helping her this morning. Actually having a real challenge this morning was a change, a good one. Perhaps she’d have to offer up new stakes tomorrow to get him to train with her again without seeming like she was playing favourites. Making her way inside she glanced at the amused expressions of her parents and flushed.

He only beat me because I was already tired from fighting the rest of the pack,” Kateri said, she was making excuses she knew.

Hah, next you’ll tell them you let me win because you wanted a date with me,” Brandon scoffed, smirking.

Kat felt heat course through her body again but shrugged. “Maybe I did,” she said, feigning indifference. “But I guess you’ll never know. I call first dibs on the shower anyways.

Good you stink of sweat and defeat,” Brandon teased cockily. Oh yeah, the tiger was in charge. Kat raised a brow.

Speak for yourself. You’re rank of arrogance and exertion. Wasn’t as easy a fight as you thought it would be hm?” she said walking into Jace’s bedroom to collect the day attire she’d picked out in the room this morning. She’d just made it to the bathroom door when she felt the tickle of breath at her ear. Damn, he was quiet.

Well then, maybe I should join you,” he purred. She could feel the rumble against her back and it made her knees suddenly feel like jelly. Heat coursed through her and she bit back a shivery gasp with determination. “I could scrub your back, you could scrub mine.

Kat found the doorknob and pushed her way in, turning around to face Brandon. Bad idea. Face to face with that devilish smirk and the size of him taking up the doorway she felt her heart flutter again. “I uh, the shower isn’t big enough…for that…” she said clumsily and shut the door quickly. Pressing her back to the door she clicked the lock into place and stared at the tiles of the floor with wide eyes.

What is wrong with me? she thought. It’s not like I’m a virgin or anything, why are his advances getting to me?

Outside she heard Brandon chuckle and tell her father that she was fun to get a rise out of. There was an unmistaken affection to his tone.

Shrugging it off she put her clothes on the counter and slipped into the shower. Turning the water on she let it wash away her defeat, her embarrassment and her overactive hormones.

During the day Kateri kept Brandon busy helping out with the duties of the pack. Most of the jobs would require both of his selves – the human side to figure out how to do it and the tiger side for the strength and endurance. When evening finally began to approach Kat and Brandon both were glad to be heading home.

More showers were in order, and then Kateri disappeared into her bedroom to get ready. Whether or not the tiger was playing with her a date was a date and it wasn’t often Kateri actually got to be a lady. Or at least look the part.

After an hour an a half she started to a knock at the door and Brandon’s voice asking her if she was ready yet.

When Kateri walked out she was wearing a little black halter dress with an exposed back that just barely passed her butt. Her make up was done with natural tones, only playing up the features she was born with enough to draw attention to her eyes. And her hair fell around her shoulders in soft beachy waves. Accessories were a gold necklace and some chunky bangles and gold heels to match. Looking up at him she smiled shyly.

Yeah, sorry if I took too long,” she said and then winced as a flash of light blinded her. When Kat looked at the source she saw her mom with a camera and blushed. “Mom what are you doing?!

“Commemorating your first date! Not every married couple has a picture of that!” her mom exclaimed hugging the camera to her chest.

She rolled her eyes letting her forehead touch Brandon’s shoulder as if in dismay. “I’ll let you drive if you get me out of here right now.

Allen

When she asked him to get her out of the house as quickly as possible he nodded and took her arm in his and led her out the front door and looked down at her and smiled purring in satisfaction. She tensed when he did this and it only made him smile more because of her reactions to him. He could tell she was more excited about this night than she was letting on and for her to have seen him working as one made her a little more relaxed in the long run. Honestly that whole day the minds of both souls had been connected as one. Brandon was really warming up to the idea of being whole again and Allen wasn't sure if it was the fact that they worked well together or if Brandon was afraid of his father but Kateri seemed to have picked up on his thoughts.

So...if you're not Brandon then what should I call you, if your souls are split surely you don't want me to be calling you by the human name she said and he looked at her for a moment, honestly it didn't really bother him, they were one in the same however he guessed it could be confusing.

Just call me Allen, it's his middle name and works as a first name until we're whole again. If you don't mind me asking however why the sudden desire to have a name to call me other than Brandon? he asked softly and she shrugged her shoulders as they reached her car and got in. He left it at that and started the car and started off of the pack lands driving back towards town.

What the fuck are you doing taking my middle name as your first name that wasn't part of our agreement! You're supposed to be playing me to a T you have to use my first name Brandon yelled in my head and I smiled smirked, it was going to be a very interesting week when his father was here if he didn't stop this communication.

it's very simple Brandon, I don't wanna confuse her when it's you or I out so we'll use different names until Eric is here then I'll exclusively be Brandon I said and Kateri looked at me and sighed and I laughed. She knew now that he was still fighting with me, she asked him if everything was ok and he told her Brandon's concern and she actually laughed and thanked him for telling Brandon the way it was. The rest of the drive was spent with idle chatter until they were in town and she got curious as to where they were going and he smiled at her keeping silent until he pulling into the parking lot of Ombra.

She didn't think much of the restaurant of the outside and that was exactly what he had planned, when they walked in the door she stumbled for a moment looking at the amazing atmosphere of the restaurant. HE held her up as he walked to the waiting table and a man came and greeted them.

"Good evening, how many?" the man asked.

buona sera, ho bisogno di un tavolo per due, si sta meglio. E la più bella bottiglia di vino avete He said in Italian and this caused Kat to jump again. When he looked back at her she looked confused and he smiled to her. We took four years of Italian in collage before going to Doctor school Allen said as he followed the waiter back to the table that they were being sat at. They sat down and Allen smiled at her when she looked around at the view, they had been seated out on a deck under candle light. When the bottle of wine came they both got a glass and Brandon sipped on the ruby liquid and sighed at it's sweet flavor.

When you said date i thought you meant like a little bistro, not this I mean what the fuck?

Kateri

She hadn’t been expecting much when Brandon parked in front of an old antique looking building. A bistro, a fancy coffee shop maybe, but when she walked inside her knees just about buckled. Allen caught her and guided her to the podium with the fancy looking waiter. She was still gawking at the décor when Allen started speaking in Italian and she started.

He can speak Italian?

When he went on to explain that he’d taken Italian classes in school as they were lead out to the patio. And what Kat saw there just about took her breath away.

They had the patio to themselves it seemed, and it was lit exclusively with candles. There were candles on the railing, candles on the table and even candles lining an outline of rose petals in the shape of a heart around their table. On the table itself there was even a rose petal heart laid out. As they neared the table she realized that the balcony was overlooking a ravine into the jungle.

Kateri was stunned when she sat down. The waiter poured them red wine but Kateri didn’t touch it. Most lycan women didn’t drink – it made them quick to temper and quick to want to chase. Instead she asked for some lemon water and waited until the server was one before looking at Allen in shock.

When you said date I thought you meant like a little bistro, not this. I mean, what the fuck?” she said combing her fingers through her hair as though it would alleviate her frazzled nerves. “This looks like some kind of valentines or anniversary dinner.

Allen, however, chuckled that low rumbly sound that made her toes curl. “I told you it was going to be formal,” he said smirking as he licked a drop of wine from his lower lip. Kateri watched, mesmerized by the sensual feel of it. “Besides, this will be the anniversary of our first date. I wanted it to me memorable.

Kat groaned slumping back into her chair and picking up the menu. Fortunately it wasn’t in Italian. “We’ve agreed to nothing, you’re still not whole,” she complained using the menu to keep her from looking at him.

Oh but we’ve agreed on you, so it shouldn’t be an issue anymore,” he purred, picking up his own menu and pretending not to hear the way her heart skipped.

Kateri sighed at herself and shook her head. “I’ll believe that when I see it,” she said, sounding petulant. Rolling her shoulders she put the menu down and smiled ruefully. “I’m sorry, being crabby isn’t nice of me seeing as you technically won this date. Let’s drop that subject for now. I mean this is a good chance for us to get to know each other on equal footing.

So they talked and when the waiter returned and they ordered they talked some more. The food was delicious and Kateri was happy that she hadn’t worn a tight dress for this date so she didn’t feel like she was being suffocated by the food. Once dessert was ordered Allen stood, offering his hand to her.

Dance with me,” he said and she doubted it was a question. Kat smiled anyways though and took his hand, letting him lead her to the dance floor.

I’m not very good at dancing,” she said laughing lightly as he swept her into his arms for a basic waltz. “I spent all my time learning about guns and tracking. The girly aspects of life were wasted on me.

I’m glad about that, it means you can take care of yourself,” he said smiling as he led them around the patio.

Kateri blushed and nodded. After years of her mother complaining about somehow getting two sons it was nice to see someone accept her. Then she felt the hand at her back trace up her spine and she shivered at the warmth. His touch was like fire. She felt her breath hitch and unconsciously she arched into him.

I like this too,” he growled smirking as her flesh warmed all over.

Kateri scrambled for an out from his obvious sexual comment. “S-So why did you and Brandon decide to become a doctor?” she asked looking around for the waiter with the dessert.

When she dodged the fact she was enjoying herself he chuckled, it was obvious she was more than just a little conflicted about their feelings towards her, she wanted them. However he figured it would be wrong of him to not answer her question. Sighing he thought for a moment, honestly it had been a descent time since they began that he forgot their original reasoning.

Lets see, I believe it started when Brandon was five. He found an injured dog on his travels with his father after his mother passed. He felt bad, being lycan he felt as if her had an attachment to canines so he WANTED to become a vet but decided he wanted to play a part in the bigger picture. Anyway it was because of that dog and how easily Brandon had managed to save him that made him want to save other things. and so he began studying at an early age, when ever he could he would buy books on the human body and how it worked. Granted with us never really living in one place for long it was hard to find a good school. We changed schools every three weeks or so, you can imagine how successful that turned out he said as he continued to lead them around the floor till he saw the waiter.

Once back at the table and desert had been given did he continue on his past. Lets see, where was I? Oh right, so we jumped school almost every month, but still managed to do very well. When we came here and settled down having met Bethany's mother and her sister Liz was when things started going more our way. He graduated High school and went to college here and did everything he needed to to become a doctor. Graduated top of his class with the highest scores on his tests the teachers had ever seen. He was welcomed with open arms at Salem General and then our accident took all of that away. Granted yes he still works but he doesn't have the passion for it he used to, it's to much of a battle for him when he has to do surgery. Allen said before taking a bite of his desert.
