Emmett Kestrel is a reckless and impulsive person. She enjoys partying, drinking and boys, often getting herself and others into trouble just for fun. She considers herself a novelty, as she was always pulling off crazy stunts and makes the wise crack for entertainment.can be very sarcastic and sharp-tongued at times. She always has a smartass comment ready whenever someone says something antagonistic to her, and always bites back with a witty insult. She doesn't hesitate to speak her mind, and can be extremely stubborn in her opinions Although she is somewhat flirty with other males, and would make out with those who caught her eye, she was not necessarily promiscuous and would never 'stoop lower' as she'd say to sleep with them. Emmett also holds very little respect for authority figures, often mouthing off to teachers and earning herself detention or other kinds of punishment. Emmett can also be somewhat violent towards those who antagonize her. She has a reputation on campus for being someone who you did not want to pick a fight with, especially after she broke a girl's arm in the ninth grade. Basically, Emmett will never be all talk: not only can she shoot out hilarious and seething comebacks, but she packs a mean punch. She's a very defensive person and has become accustom to hiding her own faults, flaws, weaknesses and blemishes- all her shortcomings she tries to hide but she's ridiculously open about her emotions, feelings and opinions and to be blunt and put it in her own words, she doesn't give a fuck. However, like there is with everything in this universe, there's another side to her. She cannot stand to sit back and see people get hurt, always trying to do something to help wherever possible, even if for a complete and total stranger. She is extraordinarily devoted to helping innocent people and protecting others. She has a strong sense of empathy to people who don't give her a reason to feel otherwise, admittedly she's short tempered and fierce but she's a very loving and protective person when it comes to those she truly cares about and those she feel deserve to be protected and aided.
History
Emmett grew up in a muggle Texan family living in North Carolina, she had no idea for a long time that she was anything other than a misunderstood teenage girl. Not the slightest clue, then she kept causing 'incidents'. Her mother, Julienne was always very reserved to her daughter and they didn't get on well and when Emmett arrived at the school for her first year, she'd ran away simply living her letter blu-tacked to the front door for her Mother to see in the morning but with age, she learnt responsibility and her relationship problems were resolved though to this day a certain amount of pointless friction remains. Emmett's father was simply irrelevant in her life, never knew him, never spoke about him- never cared. It's never bothered her lacking that male parental figure, she's down with it really which is why she was so desperate to make things right with her Mother when she realised how bad things were. Emmett had 5 brothers, all older whom she was always equally close to and she blames them for her devilish antics, wild-child attitude and tom boy character but she doesn't see it as a bad things. She's quite proud to have such a close knit, tight and extended family. Emmett, like most learnt who she was when she got the letter and she didn't believe it at first but desperate for an escape option- she took it after a petty row and has considered it a second home ever since. Her life so far isn't a particularly eventful one, she had a very simple life before her arrival. Since being at the school, she's been a bit of a 'hot-shot' but all the while someone to be weary of, she may not have a back story but she does have a reputation that's for sure.

Do you know much about the Harry Potter Universe?: I'd say I have a pretty good ground knowledge, I'm not a total Potterhead but I love the books and I know more than enough I'd say...I guess- I don't know? xD
How often do you get online?: I check for notifications daily, I write whenever I have something to reply to but I'm quick most of the time.
How often can we expect you to be able to post?: 3-5 times a week, maybe more maybe less it depends on a lot of things
