The early morning sun rose slowly and quietly in the sky, colouring it with gentle and bright colours of red and orange. Everything was quiet and peaceful, with the exception of birds singing their morning songs. Dianga sat in the clearing of the forest, looking around. Soon the pack would be up and running, the wolves going around with their daily tasks. She loved this part of the day when it was calm and quiet, when she didn't yet have to do duties and could enjoy the beautiful surrounding she stumbled upon and made her own. She closed her eyes and yawned, stretched and rolled onto her back to enjoy the calmness around her.

Xyntheria.

Xyntheria, whom had only recently awoke from a full-night slumber, padded slowly through the pack's territory, his paws leaving light prints in the soft terrain as he travelled. His maw stretched open as a quiet yawn crawled its way out and he shook his head a little, before focussing his eyes on the path he was following. Occasionally he would glance left and right, sometimes even checking behind himself, as he was not only enjoying a stroll but taking it upon himself to scout the area for the sake of his pack. As of that moment, he found no brute or fae besides the ones he knew from the pack and once he had deemed the local area safe, he followed the scent that his Alpha Female had left behind her.

On his travels, he had also noticed an odd scent, presumably a rogue because he did not recognise the scent as one of his own pack mates. What had him confused was that he couldn't pinpoint where the wolf's exact location was. He kept an eye out just in case, as well as the rest of his senses. For all he knew, the loner could prove troublesome. He would definitely have to report this to Dianga, lest he get in trouble for not warning the pack sooner; with that, he picked up his pace, until he had broken out in a powerful sprint.

It hadn't taken him long to return to her spot and, from the look of it, she had not long woken up herself. He slowed into a gentle pad, giving his legs a moment to rest themselves before he would then leave again for his morning hunt, which was part of his 'morning routine', so to speak. "Alpha," he greeted, his voice soft as he spoke, as it always was when he addressed a wolf with a rank higher than his own. "I roughly scouted the pack's territory this morning, and I found no wolf that poses a threat to us." He took a pause as he lowered his behind to the ground and leaned the majority of his weight on one side, his tail falling limply to the ground beside him. "However, there is a scent that I have picked up. I wouldn't worry as of yet because it is faint, meaning the wolf isn't close enough to cause concern, but it's just something to look out for."

Scout.

Scout's eyelids pulled themselves open as she awoke from her broken sleep, the morning light blurring her vision slightly. She had spent the night waking up and falling back asleep numerous times, and it was taking its toll as she was still exhausted and felt as if she could barely move her own legs because her body had not yet caught up with her waking thoughts. Despite that, she stretched her body out on the ground slowly, before she forced herself to stand up. Just as she thought, her legs ached and she let out a small whimper. She padded the ground a little before setting off. She had no where in particular to go, but she figured that if she were to walk around enough, she'd find something of interest.

Dianga opened her eyes slowly to the voice of another wolf. She rolled onto her belly and sat up, looking at Xyntheria. She listened and nodded, wondering which wolf it could be. There were some loners out there, and once she feared more than anyone else. ''Alright,'' she said, stretching her front legs. ''Thank you for the report.'' A bit nervous, Dianga looked around. ''I'll go ahead and mark off the territory.''She bowed her head to the male and started walking towards the borders of the pack. She would make it clear that this patch of land was hers, though she didn't mind loners who left them alone.

Alea

Alea blow air out of her nose, she was once again sleepy after a long nights sleep. As normal she would try to keep out of the way of the others and try to avoid work. The morning looked like it was going to offer a great, Alea no longer able to close her eyes and go back to the dream land she came form, stood and looked around. no one around her really looked fun to talk too. Once on her feet Alea started to smell another wolf the sent of witch she had never smelled before. Alea know that she should tell some one higher on the totem pull but for some reason she did not care. Alea shook her body and tried to shake her fur out "meh... not like i care what i look like" Alea said in a low tone she really did not want any one to know that she was awake. Alea smelled the air to her it seemed like Dianga, Daciana, Scout and Xyntheria where awake right now.

Death watched the moon sink slowly down towards the Earth, the sun rising afterwards. Another day, another night without any sleep. She sighed and yawned, stretching her legs before getting up slowly. ''Why can't I just sleep.'' Then again, she never liked sleeping when she was younger and often went out exploring. But that was so long ago, she had changed, she was different.

Smelling the pack awake, she smirked. This was her favourite part of the day, taunting Dianga while she went on to mark the territory. The territory that belonged to her, not Dianga. She jumped off the rock she had been lying on and started heading for the alpha's direction. Even though they were siblings, she enjoyed torturing Dianga with her games. Death smirked and made pace, wanting to start her games.

ACCALIA
It was a new day. For some reason, that depressed her. A new day, a new battle to fight. She signed and leaped off the rock she had spent most of the nigh on- it wasn't too comfortable. Taking a deep breath of the cold morning air, she scented that the pack was awake.
Trotting up to her sister, she said, a bit harshly (not unkindly though) "Did anything happen that I missed?" Even though she didn't really care, she still liked to stay in the loop.
This pack thing might become difficult.

Dianga was patrolling the edge of the territory. She enjoyed the singing of the birds as she walked around. Later this day she was going to visit an old friend of her at the lake. She smiled and closed her eyes. Yes, everything was alright and there were no worries for now.

Her sister joined her. Dianga smiled and opened her eyes, looking at her sister. ''No, not really. There has been a report of a faint scent of a loner, but nothing serious. I don't think the loner mentioned poses a threat,'' she said, stopping. An all to familiar scent came to her nose. It hung thick in the air and her hairs bristled, her ears pinning themselves against her head. Her body grew defensive, she knew this scent to well. Dianga sighed and looked at Accalia. ''Be careful...''

A white wolf covered in scars appeared from the shadows as if she was a shadow herself. Dianga growled lowly at Death, warning her not to come too close and enter the territory, she wasn't going to take that from that particular wolf.

Image

Death followed the scent of Dianga quietly while walking along the edge of the border. Hidden in the shadows, she wasn't to be seen. Being a dark spirit, it helped her hide from the rest of the pack, even though her scent was around. She didn't care about that, her scent was nothing. If they couldn't see her, they were defenseless against her and if they'd try to attack it would be no use really.

Dianga was getting closer. She smirked and appeared from the shadows, walking carelessly towards the two wolves, her two sisters. ''So there you are,'' she said, a sick smile on her face. ''Ah come on Dianga, don't growl at me. You know it's no use anyway.'' She crossed the border, Dianga backing away a bit.

Xyntheria.

''Alright,'' replied Dianga and Xyntheria gave off a light nod, his eyes focussing on the Alpha fae that lay before him stretching her legs out. "Thank you for the report," she then continued and Xyn allowed the corners of his lips to curl slightly into a soft smile; despite everything, he sense a sort of nervous quality in Dianga's expression as her eyes glanced around the territory, though he said nothing because he was not the sort to stick his nose in other people's personal business. For all he knew, she might've just been worried for the safety of her pack, which seemed perfectly natural. "I'll go ahead and mark off the territory," she said, before heading off. His eyes lingered on her as she proceeded to walk, but made no movements other than to lower himself to the ground and roll onto his side, letting the sun beam down on his thin pelt.

Scout.

Scout had been walking peacefully through the woodland, when she came to a small stream. It went on seemingly for miles, and her eyes followed it as far as possible before she sat herself down beside it. She hadn't thought anyone would follow her to this area, considering how deep into the woodland she'd come, so she took this opportunity to relax without having to constantly be on guard or keeping an eye out for others. She lowered her rear to the muddy terrain, allowing her tense muscles to relax themselves at long last. Her eyelids closed themselves slowly as the tranquillity of the area began to wash over her.

It was then that, seemingly out of nowhere, Alea popped up and damn near scared the Hell out of Scout, causing her to tense up once more, let out a small whimper and stand back up so that she was facing the fae with her back turned. "Good morning, Scout. What are you doing today, any thing cool?" she spoke, rather quickly, and Scout kind of paused for a few seconds, her wary eyes scanning the fae for a long while. The Delta Female, a rather intimidating girl who could pose troublesome for Scout at some point. "Nothing," she mumbled, her voice practically non-existent as she practically had to choke it out. Her tail lowered and curled between her legs, her ears pinning themselves backwards instinctively. "I was just sitting here..." She looked down. "I'm sorry... I'm not very interesting..."

Accalia
Accalia growled at Death as she passed. That wolf needed to learn a lesson, who did she think she was? Well, she picked the wrong wolf to mess with. She angrily stalked away from a bewildered Dianga.
Wandering through the woods helped clear her head a bit, but not much. Should she confront Death or leave it to the alpha? The thought of a fight was too tantalizing to resist.
The murmurs of two wolves broke her thoughts, and looking across the stream, she noticed Scout and Alea.
"Have any of you seen Death?" She howled. "A white she-wolf with scars?"

Death smirked as one of the sisters left. Having Dianga for herself, she pinned the alpha wolf down and sighed. ''So weak... I don't understand what they see in you. I would make a better leader than you will ever be,'' she growled and looked down at the wolf. ''Oh... I've got some news for you. After all, you should know. You already know my name, but you don't know that I am your sister.'' The shock on Dianga's face as amusing and Death smiled wickedly. ''Yes. We are, believe it or not. You wouldn't want to harm your sister, would you?'' Death would, she didn't care. She opened her mouth and grabbed Dianga's throat.

Image

Dianga narrowed her eyes as Death pinned her down. She remained calm and listened, waiting for an opportunity to escape. She knew how dangerous this wolf was and it slightly scared her, but she didn't show it, until Death told her that they were sisters. Dianga was shocked and before Death could bite down completely on her throat, she kicked her away and got up. There were just a few scratches.

''You're lying!'' she growled, stepping forward. ''We are never sisters, that just simply can't be!'' She pinned her ears as Death got up. ''Leave!'' She ran forward, chasing Death away, then returned to the center of her territory, the camp and howled loud, calling the pack to gather.

Leto cracked his amber eyes open and let out a long yawn as he stretched his front legs out in front of him and arched his back. Licking his lips he began to look around for Thor, his father, within the dark cave. It had been almost twelve hours since he was told to wait and hide...
Taking a change Leto decided to venture out and search for his pack, hoping that the destructive noises he had heard the previous day had passed beyond their stretch of forest. As he peeked out of the cave, confused settled over him. Everything looked..different? He knew that this was where he had entered, but the forest belong looked nothing like the forest he knew. Taking a small step out he began sniffing the air, searching for his pack, but the wolves he smelled were different. There as no trace of Athena or Thor in the air.
"I guess I will have to go and find them..." he whimpered as he took a few more hesitant steps out into the lush moss at the mouth of the cave.

The forest was quite different, greener than he remembered. The trees were taller, and the flowers had brighter colors to them. As he reveled in the beauty around him, he wondered if the loud noises he had heard before had something to do with the forests new look. His stomach rumbled as he realized that it had been almost twenty four hours since he had eaten anything. Looking around he searched for wildlife small enough for him to catch. His eyes fell on a strange red bird, with two sets of wings and a blue lure dangling in front of its head. It seemed to be dropping insects into a hole.
Lowering his ear to the ground Leto closed his eyes and listened for what it was she was feeding. It sounded like four chicks, four delicious morsels. He waited patiently for the mother bird to fly off before he ran over to the opening of the hole, sticking his head in to see the small, red babies she had been feeding. They were little fluff balls of red, bite sized. Reaching our with his paw he scooped them forward toward his mouth and took the first one between his teeth. Warm blood rolled down his throat, and his teeth slid easily through the tender meat. Quickly he devoured the other three and fled before the mother returned to find her empty nest.

After his meal he continued his search, though he became more and more discouraged as he smelled no one he knew. He walked for what seemed like hours. The pads of his feet had not yet calloused completely and soon became sore and raw from the rocks and the sticks on the forest floor. It was only when he heard the howling of other wolves that he perked up and gained a little hope back. They may not be his pack, but they might be able to help him find them. the howl came from nearby, and when he poked his head through the bushes he saw something he had never seen before in his short life. They were wolves yes, but they were pure white. Frightened he let out a small whimper as he backed into the brush, peering through the branches as the pack started forming around one of the white wolves.

Dianga didn't wait for anyone to arrive, there was hurry. After all, a dangerous wolf was roaming the territory and she had to tell the pack. She looked around, even at the loner, though she wasn't bothered by the loner wolf. The wolf posed no threat so Dianga allowed her to be there. She looked around at everyone before taking a deep breath. ''There is a white she-wolf roaming around the territory. She's a dark spirit and seems to control the shadows rather well. She has scars and she can be recognized by the crossed scar on her face. I want all of you to be careful and report immediately whenever you smell or see her. She's a threat, and I don't want anyone to get hurt.'' She looked at the loner, hoping the loner would cooperate. ''Now go back to your duties.'' She smelled an unfamiliar scent, a pup scent, and she walked towards the puppy in the bush.

''Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you,'' she said, sitting down before the bush where the pup was hiding. She wasn't going to chase away the pup or kill it.

Leto listened as one of the white wolves warned the others about threatening wolf that he had seen with her before.
"She must be this pack's alpha..." he murmured as he watched the others around her. They all seemed to respect her, just like they had his mother.
Pressing himself into the dirt, he hoped that they wouldn't notice him. However, his attempts were in vain as the alpha she-wolf approached where he was hiding. He felt his little heart pound as he thought back to when a rival wolf killed one of his sisters when she had challenged their mother. Backing away he burrowed himself deeper in the bush, peering up at the snowy wolf coming towards him. She simply sat before the bush and looked in on him. Though he was sure that she couldn't see him her gaze fell through the branches exactly where he was located.

"Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you," she cooed down to him.
Her words were kind, just as her eyes. Though hesitantly, he crawled forward just to the edge of the bush and popped his head through the leaves. His tawny ears flopped as he looked up at her.
"...Do you...do you know where...where my daddy is...?"

After hearing Dianga speak Daciana walked over to her little corner by the bushes and laid down. With lack of sleep Daciana knew she was no good to the pack if she wasn't alert and awake so she decided to take a short rest. The she-wolf lowered her head to the ground and watched the Alpha talking to a ..bush? No that's not right She thought as she stared at her curiously, raising her head and tilting it a slightly. For some reason Daciana couldn't stay still even though she was tired.

She stood up shaking out the dirt from her fur as the sun shined down on her coal black fur making her golden tips glisten in the sun. Daciana stretched out yawning before making her way over to the Alpha wondering what she was up to. The She-wolf didn't really like bothering the Alpha but she was bored and what she was doing looked so much better than laying around.

Dianga waited for a reply, looking around to make sure no one could just scare the pup. She was patient with these kind of things, she knew pups could be scared of strangers from time to time. But she didn't want to leave him alone. Not with Death around. She looked to her side to see Daciana joining them. She smiled, then concentrated back on the bush as she saw a head pop out. Her smile was warm and motherly.

''Your father? No, I don't think I have seen him. But if you want, I can help you search or you can stay with me until he comes for you,'' she suggested. Dianga wasn't sure who the pups father was and wondered if his pack might have left him. Packs sometimes left pups, or while on the hurt got hurt and didn't return. She now wondered what had happened. She looked back down at the little pup.

Leto watched as another wolf approached her, this one dark with crimson eyes. He quickly pulled his head back into the bush, trembling with fear. It was evident that this pack was much different than his pack at home.
The white wolf spoke to him in an assuring tone, "''Your father? No, I don't think I have seen him. But if you want, I can help you search or you can stay with me until he comes for you,''

Peeking his head back out he peered from the dark wolf to the white wolf, and back to the dark wolf. He was unsure, he would surely die if he stayed out in this forest alone, but Thor had told him to wait. If he went with this pack, his own may never find him again.

"Are you sure...? His name s Thor...and my mother's name is Athena... I was only asleep in the cave for a night...where could they have gone?"

With his head hung low he walked slowly out of the bush and sat in the mud. With blood on his face and paws, and mud caked onto his fur he was feeling quite low. Looking back up at the two he sighed, " "I'll come with you...but I have to keep looking for them...my mother will be so worried..."

Dacian smiled warmly at the cub lowering her head to him. "Did I scare you little one? I'm sorry I didn't mean to" She would say in a gentle tone. The She-wolf would then lean her head closer to the cub and nuzzle him hesitanly but gently trying to let him know that she meant no harm. She would then look over to Dianga raising her head back up. "He should get cleaned up, I will take him to the stream so he can do so.. that is if you approve."

Daciana met her Alpha's eyes her ears perked up then looked back down at the little cub. " I shall protect him, so no need to worry Dianga." She spoke softly so she didn't frighten the cub but she also spoke stern with confidence in her voice.

Dianga watched as the pup pulled his head back. She lowered her head slightly to the pup, keeping her expression soft and caring. This pup would die if he would be left alone in the forest and she didn't want the pup to die. She'd seen enough deaths already, and she hated it to see another one die. She smiled as the pup came forward but looked worried. She didn't want to tell him that his pack might be dead or might have left him. ''Don't worry, we'll start searching for them tomorrow.''

She looked at Daciana and nodded. ''If he's fine with going with you, I'm fine with it too.'' She looked down at the little pup and smiled. ''Do you want to go with her?''

The dark wolf looked down at him with kind eyes, eyes that reminded him of his mothers. Leaning down she nuzzled him softly, she smelled good.
"Did I scare you little one? I'm sorry I didn't mean to"
His fear began to subside as he interacted with these wolves. They seemed different than others, more accepting of new wolves than her own pack.
The alpha responded to him kindly, "'Don't worry, we'll start searching for them tomorrow.''

It had been a long day so far, even though it had just began. His feet were sore and raw from the strange terrain, and he was cold from the snow. It was strange, it was warm and sunny yesterday, but today it was so very cold. Though he had devoured those chicks, he was still quite hungry as well. All he wanted was to clean up and eat. As if the dark wolf read his mind she looked over at her alpha , "He should get cleaned up, I will take him to the stream so he can do so.. that is if you approve... I shall protect him, so no need to worry Dianga."
''If he's fine with going with you, I'm fine with it too.'' She looked down at him and smiled. ''Do you want to go with her?''[/b]

For the first time in almost two days he felt safe, comfortable. Looking up at the two he smiled, letting his tounge flop out of his mouth as he nuzzled the alpha's leg first and then the darker wolf.
"That would be nice," he said as he looked up at the two, "My name is Leto by the way...thank you for helping me."

Dianga watched the pair go off and smiled. She stretched and looked around, the day was approaching after noon already and they had just started. But for now, everything seemed peaceful and fine, Death seemed to be no where, for now. She sighed and went to the borders again to continue marking them. Once done, she caught a rabbit and brought it back to the camp where she ate it quietly.
