Kigiinheart

"If you don't understand my silence, how will you understand my words?"

a character in “Wolf of Dawn”, as played by BlueWind_22

Description

Image
Name:
Kigiinheart
Pronounced Kiss-en hart
(Kigiin means alone)

Nicknames:
Kigiin

Age:
Four

Gender:
Female

Personality:
Kigiinheart rarely talks or speaks to other wolves, preferring to stay silent, and observe the others from a distance. She always appears calm, quiet and stoic. When asked questions or whenever she's spoken to, she says nothing and will often stare at the other wolf until they leave her be. She does talk, just mostly with her body language that most wolves can't understand. Thus causing her to be an outcast. When she does talk out loud, her voice is surprisingly strong, alluring and smooth, and all wolves in her presence will turn to listen. It is not weak and hesitant like that of a Sikla, or omega wolf. It is that of a Drappa, or Alpha female.
Kigiinheart knows she could become and Alpha female if she were to join a pack, or at least become an important member of the pack, but she chooses not to. She is a solitary she-wolf, and very rarely will she seek the presence of other wolves.
A fighter at heart, she does not back down when others threaten her. She shows them whose the strongest. She does not submit to others; one of the reasons for her being a Kerl.

Physical Description
Kigiinheart is quite big for a female. Often mistaken for male wolf, she has Amber eyes that always seem to glow. Her coat is a mix of light gray with white and creamy brown layers. It's not that heavy during warm times and is often silky but can be a bit 'scruffy' around her ears. During the winter and fall seasons her light gray coat thickens and darkens until you can barely see any of her brown layers, and will most likely look like a dark gray wolf.

History:
Kigiinheart was raised away from the pack, being the offspring of an omega that was not well-liked can do that. Her mother was a Sikla that had mated with an Alpha male from a different pack. Kigiinheart had grown up in a litter of five cubs, three females and two males. Alot of mouths to feed for a she-wolf that was always last to eat, and never getting the best pickings. Starvation finally caused two of Kigiin's siblings to die. Fearful of her pups dying, Kigiin's mother finally brought them into the pack. Her poor cubs. They were treated with some kindness but were mostly snapped at and ignored by the higher ranking wolves.
Despite being thought of as "nuisance" Kigiin was well-fed or at least actually getting enough food to keep her from dying of starvation. Food being put aside, Kigiin showed no interest in pack life. It was strange and always difficult for her to speak to other wolves. So, it was not a surprise that when she learned enough about survival and was strong enough, she left her home pack. She joined several other packs, but found the solitary life of Kerl to be more befitting.

Kigiinheart

Kigiinheart sat alone on a ledge far above the wolf pack below her. She'd been sitting there since she trekked that dangerous trail up the mountain wall, which was several hours ago. She had scouted out her spot and found that there were several other treacherous trails she could run if the pack below her saw her as an enemy. OR she could jump to a ledge higher up where only two wolves could possibly stand and fight. She could hold her ground, her back to the cliff and fight off her opponents one at a time. Kigiinheart all had these possible situations at the back of her head as she felt a desperate call for food come from her stomach. Kigiin growled, glancing only once at the wolves before her as she began her descent.
Once she was on the ground, she trotted off in the direction she last saw a deer herd grazing. It wasn't much to go by, but using her nose she found the little deer herd in exactly the same place. So different from the herla, or deer near her home pack. She thought of stalking one of the large stags, but thought better of risking her health, and began to stalk a little doe. It wasn't a doe big enough to feed maybe half a pack, but it was big enough for a lone wolf to feast off. She licked her chops, and began her hunt.

Kigiinheart

Kigiinheart felt her claws scrapping the rocks beneath her, sending little pebbles into the air. Just slightly below her, her prey was sprinting and jumping the obstacles set out before it. Distractions that proved deadly when the herla stumbled on some sticks and logs, giving Kigiin the time she needed to launch herself and... The take down sending up a small cloud of dust as the she-wolf snapped her jaws down on the doe's neck and jerking her head backwards, breaking the neck. Kigiin released the doe's neck and began to pant as she stood over her... food.
Feeling her dinner was too exposed, Kigiinheart clamped her jaws around the doe's neck and began to slowly drag it out of the sunlit open space and into the densely covered patch of bushes. When that was done, the gray she-wolf felt her blood lust take over her, urging her on to tear through the deer's chest, to snap and tear through flesh. To eat a deer that once was full of life.
With her hunger satisfied, Kigiin could not resist the urge to howl for her victorious hunt, and had raised her head, howling.

Kigiinheart

Kigiinheart's muzzle was red with blood, her cheeks and forehead pink. Of course she'd have to clean herself up. It was something she enjoyed, not that she'd admit it. Walking out of the bushes, she began to walk along Dianga's pack border, pausing sometimes to listen for a babbling brook or rushing water. It took her awhile to find the sound, several seconds to identify it as the sounds of water, and a few more minutes for her to get there. When she got there, she had heard several wolves nearby, but just from the chatter, she could tell they weren't Beta's or Alpha's. It was okay for her to be here, but only if she was quiet.
Kigiinheart walked into the water, lapping the cool liquid up before she ducked her head into the water for a moment. The red on her face became pink, and when she padded back to the bank, she found herself to dripping wet. Knowing she would be heard, by the wolves nearby, she shook out her fur, water splattering everywhere. She huffed and stretched out, reaching as far as she could with her front paws before shuddering and shaking out her fur again.

Alea

Alea picked her head up fast when the smell of the other wolf grow stronger. Alea watched as the water flowing past her became darker and the smell of blood was in the air. Alea got down as low as she could to the ground then she spoke quietly to Sout "we need to get help now Sout I want you to run and i will stay here and keep watch." Alea know that she could not fight, she was not good at fighting at all. But she did know how to be quiet and know how to hide.

Kigiinheart

"...Having fun there?" The black she-wolf spoke in a low, non-threatening growl. Kigiinheart didn't react at all to the stranger. Except to flick her ears backwards, listening to noises Alea and Scout were making. She watched the black she-wolf steadily, never dropping her gaze as a submissive wolf would do, nor staring her down like an Alpha would. She did not say anything. Her amber eyes taking note of the small and big details. The stranger was well fed and it had not reacted aggressively to Kigiin's presence in its home land. From these few notes, Kigiin could think of the possibility of these wolves being kind and generous; so different than Kigiin's home pack. Feeling that she, this... stranger was expendable in her pack, Kigiin already know she'd hold no feelings for killing this wolf if she had to. She was a Kerl, or lone wolf, and living alone has made her tough, tougher than most pack wolves. Knowing, somehow, that could take this wolf in a fight, she turned her back on the young wolf (an act that wolves knew was insulting) and padded away from the stream.
Kigiinheart, had gotten a taste of what these wolves would most likely be, and they weren't... like her former superiors. That was why she had no fear to walk deeper into Dianga's territory, and that is exactly what she did.

Dianga didn't wait for anyone to arrive, there was hurry. After all, a dangerous wolf was roaming the territory and she had to tell the pack. She looked around, even at the loner, though she wasn't bothered by the loner wolf. The wolf posed no threat so Dianga allowed her to be there. She looked around at everyone before taking a deep breath. ''There is a white she-wolf roaming around the territory. She's a dark spirit and seems to control the shadows rather well. She has scars and she can be recognized by the crossed scar on her face. I want all of you to be careful and report immediately whenever you smell or see her. She's a threat, and I don't want anyone to get hurt.'' She looked at the loner, hoping the loner would cooperate. ''Now go back to your duties.'' She smelled an unfamiliar scent, a pup scent, and she walked towards the puppy in the bush.

''Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you,'' she said, sitting down before the bush where the pup was hiding. She wasn't going to chase away the pup or kill it.

Kigiinheart

Kigiinheart had yawned. Same old, same old. Packs bands together to protect each other from a threat. The gray she-wolf yawned, blinking her eyes lazily, feigning that of a relaxed wolf when she was really on high alert. For her, an outsider, Packs were unpredictable and dangerous. She wasn't like the other wolves; social and loving toward pack members. Kigiin was what her name implied, a loner. A sudden pang went through her as she remembered a saying in her home pack: The strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the power of the Wolf is the Pack. Kigiin licked her chops as she got to her paws, and walked away from the strange wolf pack. As she felt the distance between herself and the pack growing she let a few emotions play out on her face. The first to hit was a sudden pained expression of loneliness, the second a look of such savageness that she had snarled at nothing. Get a hold of yourself. Kigiin thought to herself before relaxing her muscles and snapping her jaws shut, her face and movements, empty of life.

The gray she-wolf was great at being empty of emotion, but no matter how hard she tried. Rage, and anger were always able to leak out of the safe she hid her feelings in. Liquid like water, the Rage tainted her, and made her unpredictable at the moment. Had anyone followed her, she would snap. The silent wolf kept moving, her eyes closed as she let her paws lead her.
