Lycanthropic Enhancment; Much like all werewolves, or properly known as Lycans, Cas has the properties and abilities that come with having Lycan blood. They have enhanced senses and condition, meaning Cas is stronger, faster, and has more endurance and stamina compared to the normal human. Able to lift at most twice their own size with ease, and lift a full grown man off the ground with ease, and then some. While they may not be as strong or fast as vampires while in human form, Cas, like all werewolves, are just more evolved than the average human in terms of physicality. Which, also to note, they have a slower ageing process compared to humans, meaning they typically age slower than the average human, but not all too drastically.
Along with the enhanced physicality and strength, Cas also has enhanced senses. They can hear father and better than the average human, they can smell things the average human cannot, or can smell it before humans can. Their hearing is also attuned than an average human's. Making them an all around ball of nerves as they are constantly overloaded with senses on a constant basis, but due to the amount of time they've spent in town, Cas has been able to grow accustomed to it over time.
Their last thing to note, is the ability that all werewolves share, in wolf form, is that they are able to communicate telapathically. At any and all times, whenever they need. As long as they are in close enough proximity to each other. Which, leans into being their main way of communication in wolf form as they cannot talk verbally while in that form, aside from howls and small, gutteral growls and barks.
Wolf-Form; Cas's form is like most of the ones in their pack. They're on the larger framed side, still just as tall, but not as bulky as some of the other wolf forms that others have. But just like their father's wolf form, their fur-coat is a dark, jet black colour, but with pale, silver eyes (their father's were a dark blue) that stand out in stark contrast to their fur when in this form. Others tend to underestimate them due to their less than intimidating form, but Cas makes up for it with being stealthier and faster compared to the others. Something they use to their advantage more often than not. As well as being a child to an Alpha, however rocky of a relationship that was at times, Cas has more than just some respect among the other pack members, especially after their parents and other members were killed in the attack. Having taken over as Alpha, especially as soon and sudden it was, they've managed to retain the respect from the others, and Cas ensures to return it in full back to the others.

Castiella has been reported as being considered handsomely beautiful by most, and elegantly androgynous by others, which also coinsides with many saying they are the epitome of unorthodox, especially considering what kind of family they belonged to, and how things are typically lived out in this time. They are considered such because, firstly, Cas has a plethora of tattoos that they actually do much in terms of trying to cover up, usually by being fully clothed with long sleeve, button up shirts, and layers with jackets or coats, as well as just loose-fitting clothes, weather be damned.
Cas' hair is usually styled messily, that they tend to tie up in a tight ponytail, or let their hair be down and flowing, but depending on how they feel that day. The fancier and less masculine they go, the more glamorous their appearance will be. Their vibe has always been just what Cas goes with what fits them, when and where, never really caring what kind of person they appear to be, as long as they are happy with themselves, that's all they care about. But often times wearing what society deems as masculine clothing, preferring pants, boots, button up shirts, and coats. They never felt comfortable in clothing that are usually dictated towards women, and as such, they're even more of an anomaly in today's current societal standards are concerned.
As for any oddities or things that standout, for Cas, it's primarily, their naturally auburn colored hair, an easy way to spot them out in public or when lost in a crowd of people. Aside from that, Cas has speckles of freckles and moles that outline their jaw and back of the neck, often covered in makeup. They have a multitude of tattoos, notably a full back tattoo, a full sleeve on their right arm, and a hip tattoo on the left side of their pelvis.

P E R S O N A L I T Y:
Castiella under and on the surface is an enigma for many people, especially upon first meeting them. With their tattoos, natural auburn hair and rather androgynous appearance, most don't know how to approach them. But once one looks closer and sees that that are nothing more than a stumbling, and completely useless idiot, one may be in for a surprise. Cas is anything than what most people expect when someone truly gets to know them. Under the rough looking exterior, people can see that they are in fact, a very caring and soft spoken individual. Often looking to be someone's best friend, or simply a person that knows how to have a good time on occasion.
They are what many would refer to as "That fucking dumb-ass with a good heart," as seeing their constant want to make sure everyone around them is well looked after and taken care of. They may be absurdly reckless and chaotic in every manner, never really staying still or in one place for very long due to overwhelming anxiety and adhd thrown into the mix, but they aren't careless. Castiella knows when to stop goofing around and when to take the situation by the horns and buckle down and take things seriously. Whether it was instilled in them at a young age by their father, or a grown behaviour they created, no one really knows. But it is something to take of note. They can be off having a good time one moment, and then a switch is flipped for where they know when to be serious. Above all, Cas is a hard worker that plays fair and is looking out for everyone's best interest 24/7.
While they can be serious and work oriented, and even abrasive at times on accident, Cas knows when to let loose and have fun. Be able to enjoy the little moments in life, even if they're father tried to knock that sense out of them years ago, part of them still holds onto that child-like wonder and curiosity from time to time. Cas has been known to always be the outgoing one when they know someone isn't feeling well, or in a bad place, they'll happily lend a shoulder to cry on or be there to listen to someone and their bad day. They didn't always have someone to look after them, and knowing that sick and empty feeling all too well, Cas never wants anyone to feel like that as long as they can help it. Maybe it's just their instinct, or something more remains to be seen. Whenever they do give someone their time though, it's all while giving their absolute attention, as if you are the only one in the world, that you're the only thing that they see. Everything else fades around them, except for that person they're talking to in the moment. A sense of tunnel vision, if you will. Once Cas focuses on something, whether a person or situation, that is all they can see or focus on. Often times becoming a little unnerving with how much they may focus on someone, or something at a time. Which tends to slowly trickle into them not paying attention in certain situations, which in the past have ended with less than pleasant results.
On the flip-side, Cas has more than just a few moments of being rather possessive and clingy about someone, once getting close to someone that is, but for the most part, they will give you your space and let that person be. But Cas can usually always be seen having an arm draped over someone's shoulder as they walk, their leg ever so slightly touching someone else's if they're sitting next to someone. Always having to have some form of physical contact with another person. They are notably very physically affection starved, while also being too scared to fully let themselves become vulnerable around someone else. But most of the time they are incredibly nervous of accidentally hurting or even going as far as to turning someone, that they tend to be off by themselves away in a corner somewhere. Often being told that they are 'too tense' or they need to ease up a bit, they never seem to be fully relaxed, even if they are with someone that they consider their best friend. Even if Cas tends to push it aside, claiming they're fine, it's evident that they're anything but fine by any means.
After the attack that took away both of their parents, and most of the pack itself aside from three others, Cas had to learn quickly that they were the new leader and they had a major responsibility on their hands. Cas had to now look after the others in the pack, at a much sooner rate than anyone could have imagined, and while it has been incredibly hard at times, especially since they have been moving from town to town in the past six months, they've been doing a fine job so far. Castiella looks after the others like a hawk, often putting their own sleep, comfort, and happiness on the line to make sure everyone else is well looked after and taken care of first. They're a hard and dedicated worker, who only wants what's best for their family, including the two newest additions to the group, Jessie and Erin. Cas knows they haven't known the witches all that long, and the group had the right to be paranoid about them all together, but Ca views them just as much as part of the back as any of the others, they just want to make it to Silver Springs and start over...Do what their father asked of them in his last few moments. And Cas is willing to do whatever it takes to keep their family safe...Even if it is going to be on the most unlikely of terms...
F E A R S:
| Failure To Protect; One of the first things instilled into Cas at an early age, was the importance of family and their position as future leader. Meaning, they learned all too early that they couldn't fail to look after their family and those under their leadership. That one thought is constantly nagging at the back of their brain, and creeps in day to day, no matter how badly Cas may push that paranoia down and try to pretend it doesn't exist. The prospect of failing their pack terrifies them to no end. | Loved One's Death; Cas has seen people come and go over the years, friends and family members alike. But one things has always stuck with them, the feeling of hopelessness when ones passes on. The thought of seeing everyone they ever come to love and dying one day, terrifies them. Therefore, Cas finds themselves constantly looking out for others, even if they can look after themselves, Cas feels the innate pull to look after others. Even when they don't have to. They can't help it. | Turning Someone; The thought of accidentally turning someone into a werewolf, whether on purpose to save their life, or on accident has been the key factor into them feeling like they can never find a mate, or someone to even get close enough to even form that bond or potential relationship. Cas knows how easy it can be to infect someone, and that prospect terrifies them. This isn't the life Cas wanted for themselves, and they couldn't imagine being the cause of it for someone else.

S T R E N G T H S:
| Protective/Loyal; Even before Cas's Lycan blood made itself know, they had always shown a side of being protective and beyond loyal to no end to those they come to care for. Whether family or not. Whether it's the werewolf side of them or not, no one's exactly sure, but Cas has shown to be more so protective than others have proven to be, even for those outside of the pack that they now lead. You threaten anyone, or show intent to harm them, and no one will be having a good time. Best not to piss off or upset an angry werewolf. Especially if it's something that they marked as their territory or took claim over. | Emotion Control; Surprisingly enough, Castiella has a rather good control of their emotions. While they may be loud and crass most of the time, putting on a show for others, they know how to keep their true emotions under lock and key, and when to put up a front of shutting their emotions down when needed. There has been rare occasions where they've needed to become numb to their feelings, and use their head in the moment and they'd prefer to keep it that way. Coming across as emotionless is tiring and tends to drain them of their energy. Especially since becoming an Alpha so quickly, Cas has been able to adjust rather well, all things considered. | Physical Combat; Being the next in line to be an Alpha, Cas was taught from an early age to not only protect themselves, but others. Especially in a world like this, one has to learn how to defend themselves and others. Both in their human form and wolf form, they've been trained ruthlessly by their father and elders of how to defend themselves and others when the moment arrives. But a keynote, they tend to fight better in their human form than wolf form, using their agility and speed to their advantage whenever they can. |
W E A K N E S S E S:
| Short Temper; It shouldn't come as a surprise, but Cas has a short and quick temper. Small things don't tend to set them off, but the list of things that do is small. You don't mess with what's their's, whether it's territory, people, or material things. You lay a hand on something or someone they care about, you'll have a bad time. | Their Friends; They've always had a bit heart, and have a soft spot for those they care for, so it's not a shock that one of Cas's weaknesses is their friends, however small of a group it may be. Whether it's seeing someone down, or in harm's way, Cas will do whatever they can to help cheer them up, or come to their aid if they can do something about it. | Acute ADHD; Cas was diagnosed from a young age, and while they have gotten help and take medication, one can't help but notice their flighty-ness or lack of full attention to something. They can be working on one thing and immediately bounce to the next without thinking, or can be mid-conversation with someone and be easily distracted or go on a completely unrelated tangent. Something that tends to bite them in the ass if they lose focus on something they're trying to prioritize. |

From a young age, Castiella never truly had a choice of what path they were meant to follow. Being the second child born to a long and powerful line of werewolves, they had high expectations put on them, even at a young age. Their father was an alpha, who ruled over the pack with a firm, but compassionate hand. He had his ways of showing people he cared, even if his ways were a bit rough around the edges, to say the very least. Teaching both of his children how to be powerful leaders in the future, whether it was of their own packs, or continue on the family pack like he had. So, from an early age, Cas had been handled the mantle of leader, as their own sister had shown signs of being a better Den Mother, than an Alpha. Which, truth be told, Castiella was never bitter or angry about. Each member of the pack had a role to play, and wherever one fell well, that was where they would be.
Besides, growing up, Cas couldn't complain too much, with good parents and pack members, who simply looked out for their own as well as whoever else shared the same land they lived on, Cas had it rather good. Life was good for as far as they were concerned, living in a large cabin in the woods near the Great Lakes region, it was a paradise for werewolves like them. They could roam free in their wolf forms, explore vast cave systems, swim along the currents of the rivers that ebbed from the surrounding lakes, or just simply sleep out under the stars of the black abyss that was the forest sky. Which, was often how Cas spent their time. When it wasn't helping around the property, going into town with their father for supplies, or keeping the surrounding families safe, Cas was out where the wild things were. Enjoying all that nature had for them to explore and Cas was all but content to spend the rest of their life like that.
But as the years passed on, and minor incidents cropped up, dealing with few rivaling packs, a few bandit groups, and witch hunters, their pack, no matter how many times they had it bad, always managed to pull themselves together and be better than ever. When Cas was seventeen, their father, Alexander, gave Cas a proposition. That they could have a potential mate in the form of Tarren, as their bond was clearly much stronger than any of the other bonds Castiella had, or they could end up finding another werewolf to have as a mate. After some debate, Cas chose Tarren and the two had started to date shortly after receiving their father's blessing. Truth be told, the two always had a mutual respect and feelings for each other, even before the proposition came up. And things had been going well for the next three following years..Then things took a turn that no one had been anticipating...
Things had been going along their routine as they always had. Cas's mother, sister and others were preparing dinner for the others that were coming home after a long hunting outing, when Alexander, and Tarren burst through the door. Saying how they managed to see something that didn't look right at the Hale Coven, and they needed the others to come with them now. Without any hesitation, Cas and the entire pack took off for the witchs' home, as they shared land with them, as well were under their protection, as well as friends in a sense. Upon arriving, Cas couldn't remember what they saw or happened as soon as they ran into the homestead, but all they remembered was seeing blood. So, so much blood. And the screams...
Cas remembers fighting alongside their father as they helped secure the remaining witches, which were only two remaining survivors. Castiella was prepared to go down fighting alongside their pack, if it meant keeping the witches safe, as none of the pack members were going to leave them. Just as things seemed to be turning in their favor however, seeing the attacking werewolves and vampires being cut down, Cas noticed how many of their own had been slain. It was a massacre, and Cas honestly had no idea how the remaining werewolves had managed it in the end. Those who remained of the pack had been left beaten and injured, and much to Cas' surprise the two remaining witches had immediately tended to the groups' wounds.
After making sure the survivors, from both parties were taken care of, and tended to, they searched for anyone else left alive, but to no avail. The only ones who were left alive was Castiella, their two Betas (David and Kayden), their last remaining Gamma (Shane), their last Omega (Tamsin), and the two remaining witches, Jessie and Erin. After some strict deliberation and conversing with the others, Castiella decided on taking in the witches. It wouldn't have been a point in leaving them behind after they had lost both families in the conflict. The survivors pulled the bodies out from the wreckage of the home, which had been set alight during the scuffle, and laid them to rest in freshly dug graves. Marking the homestead as more of a final resting place, than anything else.
The pack has been on the road for the past six months, having taken in the two witches, that some were still rather skeptical of, but Cas knew if they didn't take them along, well, that guilt would never leave them. They'd be forever haunted by leaving two innocent souls in the wreckage of a place they once called home. With no proper place to call home, Cas took their father's last dying wish to heart, and is headed towards Silver Springs, in search of someone who could help them, not only in form of a place to call home, but maybe in terms of a better future? Anything for the small family they still have, Cas is willing to put their life on the line to keep them safe. It is what an Alpha is meant to do, right...?
