|| Appearance: ||
Lily has always been well put together. Her blonde hair always falls in a curly organized mess of golden curls that she rarely does anything with, even if she is put together she can hardly do anything with her organized chaos she calls hair. She has the usual attire of a farm girl, usually seen in jeans and a simple T-shirt but can clean up rather nicely. The one thing that never changes in her outfit is the Celtic cross Her mother gave to her when she was five. A family heirloom of sorts.

|| Personality: ||
The most noticeable thing you will find in Lily, is her childish love of the world and everything in it. She believes everyone has good within them, and that not everything is horrible. Lily always tries to remind everyone in her life, that the world is beautiful, that it always has been beautiful, always will be beautiful.

Lily seems like the most open book in the universe, but she is more complex than anyone can imagine, sometimes, she herself has trouble making her way through her own brain and personality. Lily can be sarcastic and stubborn as a mule, she stands up for what she believes in, and stands up for those values without backing down. Lily is a very happy girl and it takes a lot to truly upset her, she may be hurt, but she would never let you know that, she would just smile on.

In her day to day life, Lily is often loyal to a fault, she gets used, and stood on more times then she could count, but her kindness seems to be in unlimited supply, when she loves someone, whether it be a friend or a significant other, she loves them with all of her heart, and it has often gotten her very hurt in the past, yet she continues to love without hesitation, she believes everyone deserves love, and she sure wears her heart on her sleeve.

Lily, is the eldest of six children including herself. From a young age Lily was keen to help her parents with the younger siblings and was always excited to have a baby in the house. Lily was always wise beyond her years, but when you are the oldest that tends to happen, having her siblings look up to her wasn't always the easiest thing and could often be stressful on the young girl.

As Lily grew older she started working on the Farm, she preferred to be around the horses than with any of the other Animals so her Father tasked her with training all of the yearlings, getting them ready to be sold. Lily also loved the dogs and was in charge of breeding, training the dogs they would keep, and selling the dogs they wouldn't.

As more time passed Lily's father opened a Diner just like he always dreamed to, once Lily's youngest and final Sibling was born, both her Mother and Father worked to keep the diner running, while Lily worked on the farm with her siblings, also caring for them while her parents were away.

However this fantasy life of theirs didn't last long, as after a few years Lily's mother grew ill and could no longer work in the Diner. Lily took her Mother's place in the Diner while Jackson the second Oldest helped with the children and the farm.

Lily sighed quickly wiping down the table, she could here the towns people talking about the recent events, the Sheriff had been murdered, and there were at least three disappearances. "Have you heard about this Lily?" On of their regular customers asked, Lily smiled walking over pouring more coffee in her cup. "Yes Madeline, I have." Madeline shook her head making a clicking noise with her tongue. "Now you be careful, a pretty girl like you. Seems our town isn't all that safe anymore."

Lily nodded seeing a young man walk into the diner. "Excuse me." she smiled kindly heading in the direction of the young man, he didn't look very friendly, making her rather unsure. She carefully slipped the cup over pouring some coffee into it for the stranger. "Let me know if you would like anything else, I'll just be behind the counter." Lily continued going around cleaning tables, keeping her eye on the stranger who had come in, but he didn't seem to want more than coffee.

"Close up for me Flower?" Michael asked gently kissing his daughter on the head. "Yes Daddy." Lily replied gently Kissing his cheek. "And be careful when you walk home, that forest isn't always safe, do you have your flash light?" Lily nodded, she looked back over to where the stranger had been sitting, he seemed to have disappeared leaving some money under his cup, Lily collected it starting to clean up.

By the time she had finished it was dark, and the Town had quieted down for the night. Lily pulled the diner door shut carefully locking it before heading out, her flashlight on, she started down the forest path. Lily had never minded the walk, but with the recent events in the past few weeks, there was something eerier about the forest.

"Hello?" Lily turned sharply around hearing something crack behind her, shinning the flashlight around she seemed to have found the source as a pair of eyes shone back at her, and then another, and then another. Wolves she thought her heart racing, she dropped the flashlight taking off like a lightening bolt, she was having trouble maneuvering through the dark, but wolves could see in the dark, and she could hear them hot on her tail. Taking a sharp turn to the right off the path, Lily stumbled down the hill, falling and rolling the rest of the way; she got up continuing to run but could feel the blood running down her arm, she had cut it open on the fall.

Taking cover pressing her back up against the trunk of a tree, Lily put her hand over her mouth to silence her breathing, she figured they hadn't followed her down the hill, she hadn't heard them following behind, then she heard another snap, perhaps they had followed her down the hill after all.

Trevor rode into the town of Jasper on his motorcycle, leading the way for a caravan of cars, trucks, and a few moblie homes that belong to his pack. It was quite a sight. Trevor rode into the town himself so as not to scare the townsfolk as his pack waited on the outskirts of town. He felt his stomach growling, and decided to stop, and grab something to eat. He saw a diner that would due. He was tired of fast food, and wanted to sit down, and actually eat something. He parked his bike on the street in front of the diner.

Before he went inside he reached in his pocket, and pulled out his pack of smokes, and lighter. Once he lite up he went inside. While to humans smoking is a nasty habit, for him it's actually a useful tool. His enhanced senses can sometimes overwhelm him, and the smoke from his cigarette helps dampen this. This is useful when around large crowds, and especially in restaurants like this with all the smells of cooking food. That, and due to a werewolf's healing ability he won't get any lung damage. So he can be as unhealthy as he wants to be.

As Trevor entered the diner he got many strange looks from the locals. 'Great, another one of these towns.' He thought to himself. He's use to these kinds of looks considering he rolls into towns with a Gyspy-like caravan following behind him. There are quite a lot of church folks in small towns like these, and they get nervous around the Romani people like his. Even though dear old dad mostly raised him Irish Catholic. Really they only know a couple of Romani traditions they're mother wanted the kids to know.

Trevor took a seat, and waited to be served. And then he saw her. Gorgeous golden hair, sparkling blue eyes, and a beautiful bright smile. As soon as he saw her his heart skipped a beat. He could smell her scent through his cigarette smoke, and his eyes very breifly flashed yellow. It was so quick that it was barely noticable. He took a cup of coffee from the young waitress with nothing more than a nod. He had no idea what was causing his sudden reaction. He's never felt this before. It honestly scared him a little. He quickly finished his coffee, and placed some money underneath the cup, and was quickly out of there.

He left the diner, and went on about his business. His first stop, the sheriff's station to gather his father's belongings. Once there he entered inside the station. He waited at the front desk for a deputy, or whatever to help him. "Hi can I help you?" A female deputy greeted him in a forced chipper attitude. "Yeah I'm here my dad's things. He was the sheriff here." Trevor said in a disinterested way. "Sheriff? You mean Sheriff Lawrence? I didn't know he had a son." She replied in a confused manner.

"Yeah he probably didn't mention us since he left when my mom died, leaving me to take care of my kid sisters. Doubt that was a proud moment to share with Barney Fife, and the proud people of Mayberry." Trevor snapped. The deputy stood there a moment, and awkward silence sat in. "Who's Barney-" "Just get me his damn things!" Trevor growled at her. The deputy scurryed off to gather the box of Lawrence's belongs of his desk. It took her only a minute, and she returned to Trevor. "I'm sorry for your loss." She said in a genuine caring tone. "Unless it's a story about him getting shot, or stabbed or something like that I'm not interested." He coldly said before he left.

Trevor met up with his people real quick to drop off the things he picked up from the sheriff's office. Once there he decided to take him a nap, they had been on the road all day long, and was rather tired. He went into the larger camper where him, and his sisters stayed at. Inside Lizzy had her nose in some book, and Michelle was idly playing on her phone. Trevor slammed the box onto the table, and fell onto the couch next to Michelle.

"Rough day?" Lizzy asked without looking up from her book. "Nah, just tired." He moaned as he ran his hand down his face. "Anything we can do to help?" Michelle asked as she put away her phone. "I'm fine. Just need a little shut eye." He then placed his wrist over his eyes. "Is something wrong?" Michelle asked, sensing that something was weighing heavily on his mind. "What? It's...uh...nothing. It's just....I don't know how to explain it. I saw this girl, and..... I don't know I felt something."

Lizzy put her book down, and was now fully engaged in the conversation. "A girl?" She asked with a new found interest. "Oh no. Don't you get any ideas bookworm. I'm sure it meant nothing." Trevor interjected. "Are you sure?" Michelle asked. "What you mean, of course it meant nothing." Trevor said as he sat up. "Didn't you ever pay attention to Mom, and Dad's story on how they met? Don't you remember how they said werewolves mate for life, and once they find their mate they'll always be drawn to them?" Lizzy reminded him. "Please, you don't actually believe in that love at first sight crap?"

"Well it could be more of a chemical reaction to her pheromones. It might have triggered something in your brain. Besides you said it yourself you couldn't stop thinking about her." Lizzy stated. "What? I never said...Shut up! Read your damn book! I'm taking a nap!"

Trevor couldn't get the waitress out of his head, and during his nap all he could think of was her. Trevor suddenly woke up outside the camper in his complete wolf form. He was confused, and didn't even remember turning. He saw the waitress from before tumbling down a hill, and him following behind her, unable to control himself. Was his inner animal really taking control of him? This hadn't happened in years. Why now?

When she hid around the tree he strode his way around the tree slowly, and calmly. His pitch black fur almost shining off the moonlight. He'd be quite the majestic sight if it were such a terrorfiying moment. Trevor's glowing yellow eyes were fixated upon her as he walked up towards her. His snout became mere inches away from her face, his breath blowing some of her hair as he sniffed her. He then backed away from her, and stood there, waiting for her to make the next move.

Lily took in a shaky breath when the wolf came around the tree. He was big for a wolf, big even for the wolves that were around Jasper. Lily watched him carefully trying to shrink away when the pitch black animal drew closer to her, when he took a sniff and simply moved back a step she loosened up. "You...must have spent some time around...h-humans." She stuttered the last bit, her body shaking, she wasn't sure if it was from the adrenaline, or the fact her arm had been gashed open.

Lily carefully moved towards the animal holding out her hand, she was worried that the wolf might take it off, but something told her she would be fine. The wolf seemed as hesitant as her, she smiled reassuringly. "I won't hurt you...I promise." She felt foolish for talking to a dog, but she liked to believe they could understand her.

At first Trevor cautiously backed away from the waitress as she reached out her hand. Then he sniffed the air before he got closer. He licked the palm of her hand, and held his head down. He pushed his forehead forward into the palm of her hand. After a moment like that he backed away, and looked up at her, his eyes glowing brightly at her. He held his head back, and released a thunderous howl. The other wolves began disappearing into the forest one by one until he was the only one left. He turned to leave, but before he was out of sight he turned back one last time to look at the waitress, and then left.

Trevor returned to the camp, and entered the camper that he, and his sisters call home. His bones began to crack, and shift under his skin as his fur began to recede. His tail went back up into his body, as did his snout. It took but a minute before he was completely human. A completely naked human. He quickly found his clothes in a pile next to the door of the camper, and threw it all. "What the hell was that?" He groaned.

"That's what I want to know." Lizzy said as she came from the back of the camper, ajusting her shirt, and trying to make her wild hair more acceptable. "You were there too? What happened? I haven't shifted on accident in a long time." Trevor asked as he buttoned his pants up. "Why are you asking me? You're the Alpha, you dragged us out there." She stated. Trevor looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "I hate being the smart one....You called us out there, your wolf form anyways. We couldn't resist the call of the Alpha. That's why we were out there."

"Yeah what's up with that?" Michelle asked as she picked several dead leaves out of her hair. "I don't know, all I remember was going to sleep, and......and all I could think about was that waitress." Trevor said as he rubbed his temple. "Well that explains it. Your wolf was acting on your subconsious. And that also explains what you did to her back there." Lizzy explained. Trevor looked at Michelle, and then back at Lizzy. "Because I licked her hand?" Trevor asked hestantly. Lizzy face palmed pretty hard. "Don't you ever pay attention? You marked her as your mate."

"I did what?! Heeeeellllllsssss no!" Trevor growled. "Too late, it's already decided. You can't fight nature. Werewolves mate for life remember?" Lizzy smirked, obviously enjoying this. "And the fact that dad raised us Irish Catholic doesn't help either." Trevor muttered. "Oh my gosh we haven't had a wedding in the pack in so long!" Michelle said with glee. "No! Shut up! I'm not marrying anyone! No. Just no." Trevor said as he pointed his finger at her. "Trevor and....wait what's her name?" Michelle started to sing before realizing that she didn't know the waitress' name.

"I don't know! I haven't said two words to the woman!" Trevor stated as he threw up his hands. "Oh that's just because you're broody, and sullen. Don't worry girl's love that!" Michelle stated, obviously having fun with this. "I am NOT talking to you two about this!" Trevor said adamently, and slightly blushing. "Aww you're blushing! So adorable!" Lizzy giggled. Trevor glared daggers at her. "Oh we'll have to go see her tomorrow at that diner!" Michelle stated rather adamently. "Oh great idea!" Lizzy replied. Trevor vigorously shook his head at the two. "No, we're going to avoid her like the plague!"

Trevor moved past the two, and went to his bed in the back of the camper. "You can't fight nature. You'll be drawn to her like a moth to a light." Lizzy stated. "Watch me! I'm gonna have a little chat with my wolf." He stated as he awkwardly slammed the thin divider that acted like a door. He sat on his bed, and crossed his legs. He placed his hands on his knees, and closed his eyes. He took in several deep, and calming breaths.

He opened his eyes, and found himself in the middle of a foggy forest of his mind. "Alright come out you bastard! You know what you did!" Trevor shouted. He heard rustling of leaves behind him as he saw his inner wolf come through the fog. "What. The. Hell? Is what the runts said true? Did you mark that girl as our mate?" Trevor asked as he held out his arms. His wolf merely made a low pitched whining sound. "Why? She's not even a werewolf, and I have no interest in settling down!" He growled. His wolf growled in turn, and let out a series of loud barks. "Lonely? That's bullshit! I'm fine!"

The wolf barked loudly in disagreeance. "Ok fine, yes, she is pretty. But I don't know her well enough to love her." Trevor admitted. The wolf howled softly. "Wow, why do you have to make it dirty?" He asked. The wolf lower his head, and put his paw on his nose. "Yes, you should be ashamed. Now what are we gonna do about this?" He asked as he folded his arms. The wolf let out several excited barks in a row. "I'm not going to see her again." The wolf growled menacingly in response. "You son of a bitch! You wouldn't dare!" The wolf barked loudly in response.

"Fine, I'll go to the diner tomorrow, and try to talk to her. But don't you forget why we're here. We gotta find dad's killer." Trevor sighed. The wolf howled in agreeance. Trevor's eyes shot open as he was brought back into the real world. He sighed as he fell back on his small bed, and ran his hand down his face, and sighed. "Goddamnnit."

Lily let out a shaky sigh sliding down the tree trunk running her fingers through her now tangled hair. Once she calmed down, Lily stood up slowly finding her way home. Her arm ached but she ignored it the best she could quietly slipping into the house. "you took a while to get home flower." Lily nodded slightly. "I got held up at the diner." Michael raised his eyebrows seeing the deep gash going up Lily's arm asking what happened. She explained that the path have way and she tumbled down the hill, she didn't mention the wolves, barely even breathed a whisper of the event.

"It looks like you'll need stitches Flower." Lily shook her head "no, I just want to go to bed, just bandage it up Dad" Michael hesitated but did as she said cleaning and dressing the wound before wrapping it up with gauze. Lily seemed to move numbly through the house walking into her room, where willow and Charlie were already laying at the end of her bed asleep. She gently stroked the young pups head kissing willows before climbing into bed. She wanted to sleep forever.

The next day at the diner Lily was sore and she was covered in bruises from her fall, she had changed the bandage on her arm three times but it continued to bleed through, maybe she would have to go get stitches, she didn't really want to think about it though, the bloody bandage drew enough attention to her she didn't need stitches to add onto it.

She was cleaning the bar when the diner went silent she looked up to see the stranger from the other day walk in with a rather large group of people. She threw the cloth into the bucket going over to them. "can I help you and your friends with something. she asked with a kind smile pulling her sleeves down when a few eyes seemed to trail to her bruised arms. She silently wondered how she would serve such a large group but kept a smile on waiting for someone response.

Trevor woke up the next morning still confused about last night. He searched for a clean shirt to wear, and found his favorite Nirvana t-shirt. He grabbed it, and his leather jacket, and exited his camper. Outside his entire pack was already up, and waiting for him. They all stared at him, and he felt rather awkward. "What's....up? Is there something on my face?" He asked with a slight smirk. "They're wondering about your mate." Lizzy stated as she worked her way through the crowd. "Yep, we're all ready to meet her. And breakfast. Oh we can do both!" Michelle said as she followed behind her older sister.

"She's not my mate! I don't even know her name!" He protested as he put on his shirt. "That's not what your wolf thought." Lizzy corrected. "Yep, you're in love!" Michelle chimed in. "Shut up. The only reason I'm going to go see her is because Fluffy made me. Yes, until further notice my wolf's name shall be Fluffy, or at least until I can hit him with a newspaper." Trevor stated as he folded his arms. "So you are going to see her again?" Lizzy asked with a satisfied look on her face.

"I...What? Dammnnit!" Trevor mentally faced palmed. "We're going with you. It's not up to you." Michelle stated, and everyone nodded in agreeance. "Son of a bitch....Fine, but not all of you! We don't want to scare the townsfolk. And I need to look over Lawrence's crap." Trevor sighed. And so Trevor, his sisters, and several of his pack went out to the diner that the waitress worked at.

Trevor led his pack inside the diner, and they all took up one side of the diner. When the waitress greeted him his heart began beating faster, almost pounding out of his chest. "We're....just here for some breakfast. I'll take some coffee, and they'll have whatever's the special." He stated, and then got himself a table by himself. His sisters were sitting with a couple of the pack members that were right around they're age. The rest of them were all being rather loud as expected from a crowd of their looks. Most either looked like a biker, a drug dealer, or a circus performer. And some all together.

Trevor sat down the box on the table, and opened it up. He sifted through it, with it mostly being full of old photos. He pulled out one picture of his dad holding a baby Lizzy, another of a bunch of the pack all scrunched into one picture, as well of one just of him, Trevor, the girls, and their mother. He then pulled out one last one of when he was in his early teens, and he was with his dad at a zoo somewhere. He slightly chuckled at it as he scratched his beard. He couldn't remember the last time he didn't have his beard.

The more he looked at the more angry he started to get. Why'd he have to leave them? Abandon them? Selfish, just selfish. He put the picture face down, and eyed the waitress. He could barely think about anything when he was around her, and he didn't even know her name. He took out his pack of smokes, and lite up to hopefully relax.

Lily nodded slightly at his request, she shivered at the feeling that ran through her when he spoke and when she looked at him, it was the same feeling she had when the wolf had licked her and placed his head in her palm. She shook the thought from her head walking up to the counter. "Did you hear that Greg?" She asked softly smiling when the cook appeared in the kitchen window. "I got it Lily." The cook took one good look at her and shook his head. "It looked like you got beaten up bad Girlie." Lily smiled his comment off. "I fell down that giant hill on the way to My house, you know how clumsy I am." Greg nodded in agreement before returning to the kitchen.

Lily leaned up against the counter Smiling when her Father walked in. "Hey Baby girl." Michael gently kissed the top of her head. Lily smiled. "You're late." Lily almost seemed to sing, as if it was a contest and she had just won. "Yeah, I took your Mother to the hospital, she's started throwing up again. The Police station has asked me to come in as a detective just for the Sheriff's case." Lily's face paled at the mention of her Mother getting worse again, she simply nodded. "You haven't been a Police officer in years Dad." Michael seemed to shrug. "I was a good detective in my time. Its a one time thing Flower. I promise." Michael kissed her cheek once more before heading towards the office, he turned again. "Oh, and Jackson is bringing your siblings over soon." Lily smiled. "Great."

A few minutes before their meals were ready, the five other Mason Kids came into the diner, Lily had been standing near the door when it flew open blowing her hair over her shoulder, and unknown to her, pushing her scent to Trevor and his pack.

Jackson, was carrying little Kasey who was crying almost screaming, while Jocelyn held onto his hand complaining about something Benjamin had said to her on the way over, Benjamin was arguing with Jackson on how he didn't do it, and Michayla, like usual quiet Michayla had her head in a book. Lily smiled. "I can't leave you alone for five minutes without one of you killing another can I?" Jackson glared daggers at her. "Just take Kasey, I need Coffee." Jackson handed the crying 18 month old girl to Lily heading towards the counter. "Jackson I'm working, I can't hold Kasey and work at the Same time." Jackson waved her off, Causing Lily to sigh. "Jocelyn, Benjamin, go sit with Michayla."

Jocelyn crossed her arms, stomping her foot. "No, not until Benjamin Apologizes for calling me a brat." Benjamin crossed his arms scoffing. "I'm not apologizing, you are a brat." Lily rolled her eyes trying to calm Kasey and deal with her siblings mindless name calling. "And you two are making a scene, and I need to work. Benjamin Apologize." Benjamin went to protest but Lily silenced him. "Apologize to Jocelyn now." Benjamin rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry...that your a brat." Jocelyn glowered at him. "HEY! Lily!" Jocelyn whined. "Why can't you two be more like Michayla?"

"Because Michayla's a Book worm, and she's boring." Jocelyn giggled. "Okay thats enough from you, now both of you go sit down with your sister, I will get you something to eat when I am done serving the others."

Lily shook her head Kasey had stopped crying, but Jackson refused to take her back. "Lily, Order up!" Lily glared at Jackson. "Your dead when we get home." Jackson just shrugged continuing to sip at his Coffee. Lily moved swiftly to the window taking two of the trays balancing them on her free and good arm, Kasey's weight was sending shooting pains through her injured arm but she couldn't do much about it. She placed trays in front of them two at a time, coming to Trevor last, she smiled kindly at him. "There you go." Lily took Kasey's hand when she reached for Trevor's coffee. "Not for you monkey." Lily kissed the small girls cheek causing her to giggle. "Let me know if you need anything else." Lily smiled again before turning around to tend to her siblings smacking Jackson upside the head as she walked past him, her little way of telling him he was an ass.

Trevor was barely keeping it together from the smell of the waitress, this Liliana. His animal instincts were telling him to mount her right there in the diner, and ward off any potential rivals for her affections. He had just about gone through his entire pack of cigarettes just to try to drown her scent. While his pack was acting very respectful towards her, acting almost as if she was royalty. When her family began pouring into the diner he watched them closely, and how she acted around them. It was very motherly. He could see moments where he had to act similar for his pack. Maybe Fluffy was onto something?

He took a sip of his coffee, and quickly shook such thoughts away. He watched as it seemed like she was struggling with the little one. He could tell she was in pain from her arm. "Crap." He sighed as he got up. He went over to Lily. "Here, you look like you need some help." He said as he took the baby from her arms. "Maybe you can help me out. Name's Trevor....Talbot. Lawrence was my dead-beat dad. Do you know where he lived? I gotta grab a few things there." He stated in a rather cold, and unfeeling matter, as if he didn't care that he was dead.

"We're doing a wake for him tonight for some reason. It's going to be a mixed Irish, and Gyspy thing. It's gonna be a night to black out at." He said as the baby took hold of his fingers. "We're Romani. Gyspy is racist." Lizzy corrected him from across the room. "I'll call us whatever I damn well please!" He growled back. The baby started to get a bit upset from the yelling. "Hey now it's ok. Gărgăriţă, -riţă. Zboară în poieniţă. Åži unde oi zbura. Acolo mă voi mărita." He began repeatedly singing in Romanian, a song that he heard his mother sing to the kid's when they were upset.

The kid began laughing, and smiling. "Sorry about that. My little sister the smart one. Always has to be right, and has ears like a hawk." He apologized, not keeping his eyes off the baby. "You alright? That arm looks pretty bad. If you need somebody to look at it without going to the hospital, Dale over there used to be a doctor." Trevor said as he pointed to a elderly man with long snow white hair, and a equally white, bushy beard.

Lily held her arm close to her body when he took the weight off of it, it felt like someone was stabbing her over and over again. Kasey didn't seem to fuss though, being in the new persons arms, she actually seemed fairly comfortable. "Liliana Mason, everyone around her calls me Lily though." Lily smiled softly. "I didn't know Lawrence had a son. My Dad worked with him for what seems like forever, I grew up around him, he was very fond of the other kids and I." Lily sighed, but the smile returned to her face when her Dad came out. "Who's this Lily?" Lily looked at her Dad. "Trevor Talbot, Lawrence's son, He was just asking where Lawrence lived so he could get a few things"

Michael reached out shaking Trevor's hand. "I didn't know he had a son, though Lawrence was a very private man, didn't like talking about his past." Michael ran his hand through his hair. "He lives...Lived on the land just to the right of ours, If you go down that forest path just across the road from here, You'll see our house, go right and keep walking and you'll see the path heading onto his land, but don't expect to see a house all too quickly, he built it in the middle of those woods, loved the forest." Michael gently kissed Lily's head heading back into the office, Lily sighed a little, he looked exhausted.

When Trevor mentioned her arm she looked at the bloody bandage and nodded slightly, she followed Trevor to where the man was, she gently brushed some of Kasey's red hair from her face before sitting down. "I fell down a hill." She hated that cover story, it just made her sound clumsier than everyone already knew she was. She bit her lip, her other hand curling into a fist as he examined it. "Ow!" Lily jumped pulling her arm back, everyone from Trevor's group seemed to react to the fact she was in pain. She didn't think much of it and placed her arm back on the table.

Jocelyn wandered over able to hear Lily trying to muffle her whimpers. "Lily? Are you okay?" She asked climbing up onto Lily's lap, Lily gently kissed her head pushing some of Jocelyn's hair behind her ear. "Yes Lady bug, I'm alright." Lily forced a smile reassuring the seven year old. Jocelyn's eyes wandered to the deep gash on her sisters arm, and almost seemed to glare at the man examining it. "That looks like it hurts Lily." Lily smiled again. "It does, but I will be okay. Why don't you go back and sit with Michayla." Jocelyn let out an exasperated sigh. "Because, She has her nose in a book like she always does, and her and Benjamin are debating again. Its like I'm not even there." Lily kissed her cheek. "Jackson has a soccer ball in the car, go ask him if he will play with you." Jocelyn got up and went over to Jackson, for a moment it looked like he was going to say no, but Lily shot him a look and he hesitantly agreed.

"Jocelyn is very attached." Lily started. "Our Mom got really sick when Ben was about two, she was sick for a while, and got sicker after having Jocelyn. She got better for a while, but when Kasey was about two months, she got really sick again." Lily didn't really know why she was talking about this, she felt she needed to talk about something, to distract her and just keep everything from going silent. "I raised them after that, Dad was always working with the Police force when Jocelyn was a baby, and is always at the diner now. Jackson is the worst with the kids, and Michayla...Well, she hasn't taken mom being sick very well, she loved books before, but now when she's reading, its like she's not even there, she doesn't acknowledge anyone other than me, and even then sometimes she doesn't know I'm there."

Lily looked at Trevor with a small smile as Kasey grabbed some of his hair, he didn't really seemed all that bothered by it though. "She likes you...She doesn't normally like strangers." Lily smiled again, she felt comfortable around him, she wasn't quite sure why, but when he moved closer to her that feeling came back the same feeling she had with that Wolf, her heart rate went up and she could feel her cheeks starting to turn pink, she was quick to look away from him and back at the man who was still looking at her arm, but her heart rate didn't drop, and her cheeks stayed a pink color.

"Not surprised Lawrence didn't talk about us. Doubt there's a good time to tell people you were a Romani, and then abandoned your family when they needed you the most." He stated with a clear note of distain as Kasey began squirming around his arms. Trevor watched Lily's interaction with her little sister with a amused grin. He listened to Lily telling him about her family, and he felt for her. He knew what it was like to be forced to take so much responsability. Though he wondered if she opened up to everyone like this. Could she be affected by him marking her too?

"Yeah I know that feeling. My parents sort of led our little community. My mom died three years ago. Lawrence....he couldn't handle it. So he ran away. It was rough on everyone, and when we needed him he left. So I had to pick up the pieces." He explained as the baby began grabbing his hair, which he just ignored. "I had to step up, and look after everyone, keep us all together. Including raising my sisters." He then pointed over to Lizzy, and Michelle. "The one with short hair, that's Michelle, she's the baby of the family. And the one with the long hair is Lizzy." He pointed out.

"After my mom died Lizzy took it the hardest. She's always had her nose in a book too, but after her death she shut down." He explained with a sigh. "It was a rough time for her. But we got through it. What I learned was that grief doesn't just disappear in time. I had to give her time, and grieve in her own way. But I made sure she knew I was there for her when she needed me." He stated. He didn't know how helpful his words were to her, or realavent to her situation, he just thought she might have needed to hear it.

"I wish I could tell you that it gets easier with time. But it just gets more managable." He said with a reassuring smile. "Well, we're going to be in town for awhile. Probably squatting in Lawrence's old place. I know this is kinda....forward since we just met, but....if you need someone to talk to, I'm here for ya. I know how hard it can be taking care of a lot of people." Trevor said with a genuine smile. He probably seemed the exact opposite of the way he has acted when she's seen him.

"So ya got any place to put this cutie? Kids kinda....love me. Trust me, our kids used to crawl all over me." He stated. He playfully acted like he was going to eat Kasey's hand which made her let go of his hair, and she laughed in delight. He sat the baby on a table top for Lily, or somebody to take her. "Um...it was good talking to you Lily. I'll...see you around." He said with a smile. He gave her a nod, and walked over to his people.

"Alright, I'm heading over to Lawrence's place. Once I get ddone there I'll come get you guys. Behave." He told Lizzy, and then leaned down, and kissed her forehead. She swatted him away in embaressment. "So did you ask her out?" Michelle whispered to him, hoping Lily wouldn't hear them. "Shut up. I didn't ask her out. I'm not going to....I'm....too busy." He said in a hushed tone. "If you don't, we will." Lizzy stated with a slight grin. "You will not! I will kill you!" He growled through his teeth. "I'll be back. Don't. Say. Anthing." He ordered before he left.

Trevor followed Lily's father's directions, and soon found Lawrence's house. He took out a cigarette, and lite up as he approached the house. "So this is it huh? This is what you left us for?" He said as he looked at the house rather unimpressed. He approached the front door, and cautiously opened it. "Leaving the door unlocked? You really did move to Mayberry." He entered the house to see it rather basic. Not much to it. The living room, and kitchen was all together, and rather empty. Only a couch, and a old TV was the living room, and the kitchen wasn't much better, with a frig, and just a hot plate.

Trevor snorted at the sight of this. He saw that the house had two bedrooms. He went into one of the bedrooms which turned out to be Lawrence's room. The room had more in it than the kitchen, and living room, having a bed, a dresser, and several pictures on it.

Lily took Kasey from the table setting her gently on her lap.  ”Thank you Dale.” Lily smiled, the man had been as gentle as possible and had seemed to close the cut up fairly well with a fresh bandage. She watched as Trevor left another shiver passing through her, she smiled when Marilyn walked into the dinner. ”Thanks for taking my shift Marilyn.” Marilyn smiled at her. “No problem Lily.”

Lily carefully picked Kasey up keeping her on her good arm. She walked over to where Michayla and Benjamin were talking. ”Ready to go see Mom?” Michayla hesitated and shook her head. ”I just want to go home Lily.” Lily sighed running her fingers through her sisters hair, she smiled softly. ”Alright, why don’t we go home? We can go riding until the others get back.” Michayla nodded following Lily out. Lily put Kasey in her car seat kissing the girls head. ”Drive safely Jackson.” Jackson smiled nodding at Lily.

Lily gently ran her hand down Maple’s nose the horse nudged her in reply whinnying in response. Michayla came out shortly after leading River up beside Maple. ”Ready?” MIchayla nodded, the girls mounted the horse taking them into the woods, something relaxing for Michayla, it was clear she was stressed about their Mother going back into the hospital and Lily understood why she wouldn’t want to go into the hospital and watch her suffer.

Lily remembered Trevor saying they were doing something for Lawrence, she decided she would go see. Lily moved into her sisters room, gently kissing her forehead, she wished her siblings a good night and told her Dad where she was going before leaving the house. “Maple.” Lily smiled greeting her horse who had been patiently waiting outside.

It was easy to find them, Lily simply followed the forest paths and came across them at the towns edge. Someone noticed her fairly quickly. “Lily is here.” they announced as if they had been expecting her, she smiled when a few of them surrounded her, she slid off her horse. “Hello.” She took Maple to a log tying her up. ”You stay there.” Lily gently kissed the mares nose.

Lily followed them to the large fire, spotting Trevor on the other side of the fire, she slightly waved at him when a few of the children pulled her aside. “Will you play with us?” Lily smiled tucking some of the youn girls hair behind her ear causing her to giggle. ”Of course I will.” Lily followed the young kids to play a game of tag.

When she grew tired she moved to sit by Trevor. ”Their adorable.” she smiled softly, at him. "I love kids, I can't wait to have a family."

Trevor returned to the diner fairly quickly once he found the house. He gathered his pack from the diner, and they returned to their camp. They quickly packed everything up, and moved on. It was tricky, but they managed to carefully move the camp into the forest next to the house. It soon looked like a shantytown. Trevor had a couple of his guys move the matress that was in his camper, and into the spare bedroom of the house, which was completely empty. Him, and his sisters moved into the house, as he decided it'd be good for the girls to live in a actual house for once.

"Alright runts, you guys get the bedrooms, and I'll take the couch." Trevor stated as he dropped down on the couch. "Are you sure? I can take the couch. It's no problem." Lizzy asked as she plopped down beside him. "Well, I'm not giving up my bed. I haven't had my own room in years!" Michelle adamently stated as she joined them. "No, I'm fine with the couch. You guys deserve your own rooms." He said with a smile. "But what about you?" Lizzy asked with a worried tone. "I told you I'm fine. Besides, this is the only TV in the house. Gotta have my stories, proitories girl." He smirked.

Lizzy kissed him on the cheek in thanks. Though she wouldn't say it, she was glad to have a room by herself. "So what do you think of Lily?" Michelle asked with a smile. "She's.....ok. I can...see why Fluffy picked her." He replied, trying to think of an answer that didn't show that he actually liked her. "Uh-huh. And what else? You like her don't you." And of course Lizzy saw right through him. They could practically feel the glee swell up inside him at the mere mention of her name.

"What? No....she's....uh....fine. But...I...." He was rather embaressed, and slightly turning red. "We're done talking about this!" Trevor growled. "Alright, I gotta get some things ready for tonight. You guys stay out of trouble." He said as he got up.

Later that night they began a mostly traditional Romani wake, which the only real difference for them from a Irish one is that they burn more things. A large pyre was started in the middle of camp, and everyone started to throw some of Lawrence's earthly possessions in it. Which was mostly clothes. Trevor held up the picture of a young him, and his father, and threw it into the fire. He rolled his shoulders, and took a deep breath in. And then he saw her from across the flames, Lily. He waved slightly at her, and then she was taken aside by several of the kids. He smiled slightly as he waited her play tag with them.

Trevor took a seat on a lawn chair, and began drinking from a bottle of whiskey. The adults began getting louder, drinking, and dancing around, and the kids were playing, and dancing as well. Though they didn't fall over as much. When Lily came over to sit down next to him he smiled at her. "Yeah, they're pretty cute. They're pretty much all my kids. Hell, even a few of the adults feel like that sometimes." He stated, and then he took a big swig of his bottle. "If you want 'em you can take a few. We've got spares." He jokingly suggested.

"But they do like you though." He pointed out. "Can I tell you something? It's just that....with my sisters, and everyone here I...don't really have anyone to talk." He asked with a puppy dog look in his eye. "It's that I....don't feel bad about my dad being dead. I'm more pissed off about it." He admitted with a sigh. "And it's not because he's dead, it's because he died before I could tell him, tell him what a selfish prick he was....About how I-" He then realized what he was going to admit next, and stopped mid sentance. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to dump my issues on you."

He took a big swig of his whiskey, and sighed. "You want a drink? It's traditional for us to get blackout drunk. Appeals to both my Irish, and Romani side." He smirked as he offered her the bottle. "Plus I think it's customary for guys at their dead beat dad's wake to get shit-faced." He said with a rather charming smile. "So uh, not that I'm complaining about a pretty girl that I haven't known most my life being here, but what made ya want to come?" He asked, not even thinking about how he told her she was pretty.

It was obvious Lily didn’t drink often by the face she made when she took a sip of the whiskey, she shook her head slightly quickly handing the bottle back to Trevor before speaking. "I needed a little bit of fun." Lily replied answering his question and then spoke again. “I know your mad at Lawrence, I mean, he left you guys, anyone would be. The thing about parents though, is they would do anything to keep their family and loved ones safe, even if that means leaving the picture themselves. Thats not usually the right thing to do, but in their minds its the only thing to do.” Lily leaned back on her hands. ”Lawrence drank a lot. He was always drinking something, it was clear he was in a lot of pain, but when anyone asked, he just brushed them off, didn’t say anything about it. Nobody pushed him. I personally think he hated himself for leaving, but he’s dead now, so I guess we will never know.”

As the night drew on, Trevor had surprisingly gotten Lily drunk enough that she had decided to start dancing with a few of the others. She walked back over to him with a smile holding out her hand encouraging him to come and dance. ”You need to have fun. Fun is good for you.” she took his hand without an answer pulling him into the crowd of dancing people. ”See? Fun, it looks like you need some in your life. Loosen up.” She had an angelic smile on her face, but thats how most people described her in general, in her town, she was the girl who could do none wrong. When in the end, she was really just a kid who grew up to quickly, who had to grow up quickly for the sake of her family. ”You need to smiled more, you have such a nice smile.” Lily commented without thinking to much about it, it was really like she was on a different planet, and being so close to him, made her feel like they were the only two on that planet.

“Mom...” Lily slowly walked into the hospital room the next day, Kasey in her arms, Jocelyn holding her hand, Benjamin and Jackson following behind her, Michayla, had still refused to go. “Theres my beautiful girl.” Julianna weakly smiled at her eldest child placing a hand on her cheek when she kneeled down. “Michayla?” Lily shook her head, but her Mom simply smiled lightly. “Its hard for her darling, just, give her some time.” Lily felt her eyes start to water. “You don’t have time.” Julianna shook her head, wiping the tears that escaped Lily’s eyes off her cheeks. “I have enough time Flower.” Lily nodded slightly taking in a shaky breath. “You, are so strong, I am so proud of you Lily, looking after your siblings the way you do. Never stop loving them or the world like that. Alright? Don’t let the world make you cold.”

“Why does it sound like your saying goodbye to me?” Julianna didn’t answer she just leaned over gently kissing Lily’s forehead.

Lily had finished her shift at the diner and returned home that evening, she had put Kasey and Jocelyn to bed. When a family friend came into the house. “Its your Mom.” He whispered to Lily. “Your Dad would like you and Michayla to head to the hospital quickly.” Lily nodded taking Michayla’s hand, it wasn’t an option this time, she was saying Goodbye, and Lily knew thats what this would be.

She walked into the hospital room Michayla’s hand in hers, their Mother looked worse than she had in the morning, paler, like there wasn’t much left of her, and it was clear there wasn’t. ”Mich...come here sweat heart.” Julianna weakly said holding out her hand the best she could, Michael was standing a little ways away from the bed, watching the two. Michayla was crying as soon as she realized what was happening, she laid down beside Julianna just laying there. Then it happened, just like that, the monitor alarm went off. She was gone. ”Mommy?” Michayla shook her full on sobbing now. “Mommy, please! Please don’t go!” Lily moved in holding her own tears back, Taking Michayla off the bed. ”Mich, stop, stop.” Lily held her sisters head to her shoulder, the grip Michayla had on her was strong enough to leave bruises, Lily sighed kissing her head, keeping her hand on the back of her head in a protective manner, trying her best not to cry herself. ”Its okay. Its okay. We will be okay.” Lily kissed the top of her head again, she hoped they would be okay.

Lily leaned numbly against the wall when they got home, Michael had woken Jocelyn up to tell the whole family that their Mom was dead. The cries that came from Jocelyn made Lily’s heart ache, she couldn’t take it. She grabbed a jacket slipping out of the house running into the woods, she ran until she couldn’t run anymore and then collapsed. Curling over herself, she just cried.

"Good, I hope he was miserable." He muttered to himself when Lily told him of Lawrence's place in Jasper. He didn't want him to be happy after leaving his responsibilities like he did. As the night went on he watched in delight as Lily got drunk, and cut loose. He could tell she needed it. He watched as she danced around with the others. They all seemed to really like her. And he'd be lying if he said he didn't either. He wanted to go in, and find that that he didn't have any interest in her, but he does genuinely like her. He just wished he knew if she felt like her.

He was a little surprised when she pulled him into the dancing circle. He wasn't much of the dancer. But apparently he had no choice in the matter. As they danced, and their bodies grew closer he got more of her intoxicating scent. His animal instincts were going wild. It took every bit of his willpower to keep himself under control. It was a real test of his ability to control himself. But he managed to get through the night without incident, and he had a lot of fun.

The next morning he woke up spread out on the couch with a few of the smaller kids latched onto him. He managed to get off the couch without waking the little ones. An impressive feat to be sure. He walked outside the house to see the damage, and make sure no one drunk themselves to death. Outside it was a pretty big mess with passed out bodies, and garbage everywhere. It was quite the mess. Luckily he didn't have to clean it up, benefits of being the Alpha, he can make someone clean it up for him. It's good to be the boss.

"Alright, everybody up!" He shouted. No one roused. He rolled his eyes. He took in a deep breath, and bellowed a thunderous roar that intanstly woke them all up. "Good morning. Everyone under forty start cleaning up. The rest get breakfast started, and start passing out cups of coffee, and aspirin." He ordered as they all began stirring. Once they all got started he went back inside. He knocked on the bedroom door of Lizzy's, and went in to find her already awake, and reading a book. Which wasn't out of the norm for her, she was usually up before him.

"Hey you alright?" He asked with a slightly worried tone. "Yeah I'm fine. Last night was fun. I really like Lily." She replied as she closed her book, and sat upright on the bed. "Yeah, I had fun too." He then went in, and sat next to her on the bed. "You? Fun? She really is your soul mate." She smirked as she playfully nudged his shoulder. "Shut up." He then pushed her slightly back. "I mean it, you two look good together. Seriously, you should ask her out." Trevor sighed, and rolled his eyes. "I...I don't know. She might not even like me that way."

"Come on, you're a reasonably handsome guy. You could tell she had fun last night. She'd be lucky to have you." She said, and then pushed him again. "Oh! Let's invite her for dinner! She seem's to like being around us. It'll be perfect." He sighed once more, and thought it over. It wasn't a terrible idea. "Ok, fine. But we'll have to go to the store." He stated as he got off the bed. "Oh it's going to be great!" She said as she gave him a big hug from behind. "I'll go get Michelle!"

Trevor shook his head. What had he gotten himself into? He exited the house to see everyone hard at work. "Yo Jack! Come on, you're going with us to the store. We're having a big dinner tonight." He ordered. A extremely tall, bald man wearing bright orange shorts, a open white t-shirt, and flip flops came over to him. "Yes sir boss man." His voice was deep, sounding something like a bear. Trevor grabbed the keys to one of the vehicles, and tossed Jack another set. Once Lizzy, and Michelle got outside the house Trevor started up one of the SUVs, while Jack started up another. "Alright guys we'll be back in a little while."

They drove out to the nearest super market, and began shopping for food. All four of them were pushing around a cart as they each packed it full to the brim. They got many strange looks from the townsfolk, many avoiding them all together. They were a strange sight to behold. They bought enough groceries to fill both SUVs completely, leaving just enough room for two people per car. They soon returned to the house with their haul.

Later that night as they were cooking a big feast of a meal Trevor felt something. He felt extreme saddness, and heartbreak rush through him. He was caught so off guard he stumbled out of the house. His pack all rushed over to him but he waved them off. He sniffed the air, and could smell Lily's scent nearby. He walked towards it almost on instinct, as if he was on auto-pilot. It didn't take long before he stumbled across Lily, curled up on the ground sobbing. He regained his composure, and calmly walked over to her. He sat down next to her on the ground without saying a word. He could smell the death on her, and knew her mother was sick. He could put two, and two together.

"Do you know what the worse part for me after my mother died? Well, other than her actually dying." He sat there for a good minute to figure out what he was gonna say. "It wasn't my dad leaving, I was eighteen at the time. I didn't need him anymore. No, it was that I couldn't cry about it." He stated as he laid his legs straight. "I couldn't shed a tear because of my family. Without Lawrence they needed someone strong to get them past this. My sisters needed a shoulder to cry on. Someone to lay their troubles on. That had to be me."

"I couldn't talk to anyone about it because I had to remain strong for the good of the community. You said your mother was sick yesterday right? I take it she's taken a bad turn?"
He sighed deeply, and looked over at her. "I wish I could say something to make you feel better. But there's not. No matter what I say you'll still have that hole in your heart. Nothing I, or anyone else can say that can fill that hole inside you. No one will fill that void."

"This isn't some pep talk. It won't get easier. It get's more managable. You use that hole to push forward. You use it to make yourself better."
He stated, and followed with a comforting hand on her shoulder. "My mother didn't just fall over dead. She was killed by someone we thought we could trust. By someone we tried to bring into the family. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to her. Be grateful you did. We all don't get those chances."

He ran his hand in his hair, and let out another sigh. "I'm sorry. It's none of my business. I....if you need someone to talk to, I'm here. I know how important that is." He hopped up off the ground, and held his hand out to help her up. "Hey...umm....we're about to have dinner. Why don't you, and your family join us? We've got enough for everyone." He said with a comforting smile. "Please. I insist. Let me help." He pleaded with a puppy dog look in his eye.

Lily listened closely to Trevor, but she didn’t look at him, she was a mess, a complete and total mess which wasn’t like her at all. He offered her his hand, and she took it, she held it for a minute, she just needed the contact to remind her she was still in reality and she needed to keep it together, if not for herself than for her family. “She didn’t take a turn for the worst she died...She just died.” Lily whispered almost as if it wasn’t real.

Trevor’s offer for her family to join them for dinner sounded like a good escape. “I’m sure they would love that.” Lily accepted his offer. “Thank you.”

Lily regained her composure walking back into the house, she could hear Jackson complaining about how Jocelyn had locked herself in the bathroom and flat out refused to come out, Dad was probably filling his mind with work, as he wasn’t in the house anymore, Kasey was screaming in her high chair. Lily sighed going over to the small girl picking her up, Kasey laid her head on Lily’s shoulder still screaming almost like she knew what happened, Lily didn’t want to believe that, she wanted to believe that her sister was to little to know, but the connection between Mother and Child was something special, and no one really knew the extent off it. Perhaps Kasey could feel the absence just like the rest of them. ”Everyone get your stuff, we are going to dinner with Trevor and his family.” her brothers seemed hesitant but agreed, Lily went to the bathroom and managed to coax Jocelyn out. “Come here Lady bug.” Lily kissed her sisters head. “We are going for dinner. It will be fun I promise” Lily was surprised when Michayla agreed to go as well, she wasn’t crying though, she was rather emotionless and it worried Lily.

Upon coming up to where the pack was, it was clear the family had suffered a loss, and Lily herself was surprised she was able to get any of them out of the house. Jackson had stopped crying but it was clear he had been, Benjamin was still sniffling, Kasey was right there with him sniffling on Lily’s shoulder letting out a whimper now and again, Jocelyn was still full on crying clinging to Lily’s leg as she walked, and Michayla was like a statue no emotion, no nothing.

Lily sat on a log while everyone ate, she wasn’t hungry though, she didn’t want to eat, she had Jocelyn in her lap at that point as well, Kasey had one leg and Jocelyn had the other. ”Jocelyn, you need to eat your food not play with it.” Jocelyn frowned at her sister taking an exaggerated bite as if to make a point. Lily sighed shaking her head. She smiled slightly seeing Trevor. ”Thanks for inviting us, they needed something to get their mind off it.”

Trevor was glad that she accepted his offer to join them for dinner. As she got returned to her home, he returned to his pack to inform them they were having more guests than expected. Not that it'd be a problem. They fix a LOT of food during their dinners. It didn't him long to get there, and once he was back they swarmed around him, worrying about his previous behevior. "I'm fine. It was Lily....her mother passed away." He stated, and everyone went ded silent. "She, and her siblings are coming over for dinner. Let's try, and cheer them up."

Once they arrived, the pack each tried their best to keep the children's mind off of their troubles. Trevor went over to Lily who had the two youngest on her lap. When she thanked him he gave her a soft smile. "I didn't invite you guys just for them. You need to get your mind off it too." He looked over at Kasey who was reaching up for him. He chuckled slightly to himself, and picked her up. "Do what you preach. You need to eat too." He stated with a worried look. "It's...not the end of the world if you break down. You're only human. You shouldn't bottle up your feelings. It'll just make you angry, and bitter......like me."

He was of course speaking from personal experience. "You know there's an old saying in my family; 'Our family is the caravan. Our caravan is the world'." He told her as he ajusted Kasey in his arms. "Family's really important to Romani culture." He explained with a big goofy smile to Kasey, which in turn caused her to smile. "Our grandfather had this other saying; A gypsy only tells the truth once in his life but regrets it afterwards'. That one's not as deep, and new agey."

Kasey then pulled at his necklace, which made him slightly groan. "Careful bright eyes. That things older than all four of us combined." He said as he lightly pryed it from her grasp. "Here, take this." He then reached to her, and seemingly pulled a bead necklace from behind her ear, which absolutely delighted her. He gave her the necklace to her excitment. He looked over at Jocelyn with a raised eyebrow. "Hey, what's that?" He leaned over, and pulled a piece of paper out from behind her ear. It had several words written in Romani.

"Huh? It says look in....Lily's pocket?" He said in a overly suprised tone, obviously playing it up for the girls. It didn't really say that, but most people he performs this trick on don't read Romani. So no one's the wiser. "Will this Lily please check her pocket." He smirked as he looked at her, and slightly winked. Inside her pocket was a Hamsa bracelet. "Wha? How'd that get there?" He asked once again overly suprised as he looked between the two little ones with a wide smile. "That's called a Hamsa. It stands for blessings, strength, protection, luck, and deflects evil. Don't lose it ok. It's some powerful mojo."

”I’m honestly not hungry.” Lily replied, she knew that she should eat, she just couldn’t bring herself to and was convinced she would end up throwing up if she ate anything, she smiled when Trevor started playing with the kids, little magic tricks, she was also relieved when he took Kasey from her, she seemed to stop sniffling after that.

”Cool!” Jocelyn smiled holding the bracelet. ”What do you say Lady bug?” Jocelyn looked at Trevor. ”Thank you Trevor.” Jocelyn looked back at Lily. ”Can I go play with the other kids now?” Lily nodded. ”Just be careful.” Kasey looked over at Lily laughing a little bit causing Lily to smile, she gently took the clip out of Kasey’s hair pulling it back again and clipping it. ”There you go beautiful.” Lily smiled kissing her sisters little hand, she had always been like Mom to Kasey, but now she really was, it worried Lily to have almost full responsibility over her siblings. The thought made her sigh.

“My Mom’s funeral is in two weeks...you and your friends could come, the whole town will be there anyway.” Lily said softly.

“There she is.” He whispered softly to his two pack mates. “That girl sitting with their Alpha, that has to be here.” The other two nodded. “Take out the Alpha female.”

“You take out the Alpha, they have a special connection now, the grief of losing his mate would turn him into his Father, and his Father was easy enough to kill.” The other chuckled slightly. “She’s not even a werewolf, she will be the easiest to Kill.” The leader of the three shook his head slightly. “She may not be a Werewolf, but she is the Alpha Female of one of the strongest packs in the world, the Pack will protect her with their lives, just like they would the Alpha, we just have to get her before she gets Pregnant...The last thing we need to deal with is an heir of our biggest Rivals.”

“A war between us would bring all Packs in though, we are the two largest, two strongest, we are basically the royalty of the werewolf world, packs would chose sides, we would destroy the town and who knows what else.” They slunk a little further back in the shadows. “If we kill her, their Alpha will go mad with grief, without an Alpha there isn’t a pack, there would be nothing to fight.”

“If we kill her, we will have a war on our hands, if we don’t, we continue living in peace.” The third and most quiet spoke up. “We Kill her, those were Mason’s orders, he isn’t afraid of a war, we shouldn’t be either. And we shouldn’t be questioning our Alpha’s orders. Lets go.”[/color] He snapped leading the other two away.

~The day of the funeral~

Lily gently rocked Kasey back an forth, the baby hadn’t been sleeping, all she seemed to do was cry, but it seemed Lily had caught her at a good time and had managed to get her to sleep, she gently laid Kasey on her bed putting two pillows on either side of her to prevent her from rolling off. Like everyone else in the house, Kasey wore black, a small black dress, with black shoes and a black flower clipping her fiery red hair back.

Lily gently slipped earrings into her ears smoothing her black dress down as she stood, it felt weird not heading to Trevor’s, they had grown close over the few weeks and even her siblings had made friends with children their age from the group, they had been spending almost everyday with the group. Something she felt she really needed in that moment. “Shhh.” Lily soothed carefully scooping Kasey up off the bed, she made a few noises making Lily’s stomach clench, but she stayed asleep curling up in Lily’s arms.

“Okay, come on.” Lily urged everyone out the car, she took the still sleeping Kasey out of her car seat holding her in the way you would hold a new born baby, she took Jocelyn’s hand and kept Michayla close, she could already feel the sadness coming off of her family. “I don’t want to stand at the front.” Jocelyn whispered to Lily, their Dad was already at the front receiving condolences from the people who had already arrived. “I’m sorry Lady bug, but we have too.” Jocelyn pouted following Lily to the front of the church, she hid behind Lily a majority of the time until Trevor, his sisters, and a few of the group walked into the church, Lily noticeably relaxed as well.

She watched as Trevor and the others went to sit down. A Man walked up to them, maybe a year older than Trevor, Jet black hair and Golden eyes, as he approached Lily she could feel the tension grow in the room. “You must be Liliana.” He smiled, it was how Lily imagined the Devil would smile. “I have heard a lot about you.” The stranger seemed to make Trevor and the other nervous as well as they had all stood up and Trevor was heading her way.

“Trevor.” Mason smiled again when Trevor came over, Lily moved closer to Trevor as if almost by instinct but making sure Jocelyn was behind the two of them, and holding Kasey as close as she could to her chest without waking the baby. “I haven’t seen you in a while, I think your Mother’s death was the last time.” Mason had another wicked smile on his face that Made Lily shiver. “She’s very pretty.” Mason commented gesturing towards Lily. “Very motherly as well, smart, putting herself between me and her sister.” Lily looked at him. “You don’t seem very trustworthy.” Lily replied, Mason almost seemed to chuckle at her comment. “You just don’t want to get on my bad side love.” Mason looked to Trevor then back at Lily.

“I am very sorry for your loss.” Mason walked back down the center Isle and out the church, he had come to make a point, or to let them know he was around and was watching, Lily didn’t even know him and it made her stomach twist, she looked over at Trevor, letting out a shaky breath. Whoever he was, he certainly made Trevor and the others uneasy.

Trevor held a sympathic smile to Lily when she asked him to come to her mother's funeral. "I don't know, I didn't know your mom, and the town's less than happy with a band of Gyspy's being in their town." He stated. He then looked at her once again, and sighed. "Never mind. I'll....we'll be there." He stated. He was going to it for her, not anyone else. He knew she'd need someone there for her. He more than understood her position. She had to remain strong for her family, she can't show any weakness. He felt as if they're kindred spirits in that sense.

Something in the air caught Trevor's attention. He stood up, and sniffed slightly at the air, and looked around the area. He thought he heard something nearby. But he saw nothing. He shrugged his shoulders, and sat back down next to Lily. Though he still had a feeling in the back of his mind they were being watched. But for now he couldn't do a thing about it, and ignored it for the time being.

Over the next couple weeks the pack was often joined by Lily, and her family, almost everyday in fact. And he quite enjoyed it. He loved being around her, and would look forward to seeing her everyday. It was the day of the funeral, and Trevor was getting ready. Lizzy was tieing his tie, oh how he hated wearing something other than his t-shirts. He was wearing a white dress shirt this time for such a formal event. "Hold still you big baby." Lizzy said as he struggled a bit.

"I just wanna wear my Nirvana shirt! I hate wearing ties. It feels like a leash." He groaned as he rolled his eyes. "This is a funeral, not some concert. Now there, done." She said as she finished his tie. He rolled his eyes once again. Trevor grabbed his black leather jacket, and threw it on. They exited the cabin to see everyone dressed in funeral attire, and ready to go.

When they entered the church they got many strange looks, and overall felt rather unwanted by the regular populous. But they didn't care. They weren't here for them, they were here for Lily's family, but mostly for Lily. Trevor gave a slient nod, and a slight wave to Lily as they walked in, and took a seat. He looked around the chruch, and figured he'd go talk to Lily when she was done dealing with some of the well-wishers.

But then he came in, Mason. The pack's eyes immediately focused on him, and they became uneasy. Trevor became increasingly angry. He got up from his seat, and went over to them. Trevor stood in front of Lily, standing between her, and Mason. "Mason." He said with a slight growl, and his eyes flashing yellow. "It hasn't been long enough. Suprised you didn't burst into flames when you set foot here." He replied with a slight growl.

"And YOU don't want to get on my bad side." Trevor growled through his teeth as he got into Mason's face when he slightly threatened Lily. Trevor watched as he left the church. He looked over to his pack, and gave Jack, and another equally big man a nod. They didn't even need words, they knew what they're Alpha wanted. They got up, and left the exited the church. They waited outside the church doors, keeping watch incase Mason, or his pack showed back up.

He'll have to make some sort of plan to deal with them. But now, it's safe to assume what happened to his father. Mason, and his pack probably killed him. He could feel something brewing. War, and this town is in the middle of it all. He turned to Lily, and let out a sigh. "Look...I'm guessing you have questions about that guy. But I can't explain it right now. Just....promise me you'll stay away from him ok? It's a....uh....Gypsy thing." He stated. He was hoping calling it a gypsy thing would give him enough time to figure some other way to explain it.

"I promise."

"Lily, who was that?" Lily gently put her hand on her sisters head. "No one, you need to worry about Jocelyn." Lily looked at Trevor, she had a feeling they would need to worry.

The funeral was tedious, everyone close to her Mother seemed to be crying accept Lily, she had opted to resting her head on Trevor's shoulder in the case she did start crying, but someone had to be strong for her siblings, and she didn't blame her Father for not doing it. She walked out with Trevor at the end, handing Kasey who was now awake to Jackson. "Are you not coming to the hall for Dinner?" Lily shook her head. "Its just going to be the same things we heard in the church. I'd prefer to stay with Trevor and the others." Jackson sighed. "Alright...But don't be gone long, and don't walk home alone on the forest trail. Dad said some hikers were found dead, Five of them. Looked like a wolf attack."

"Wolves don't attack people."
Jackson shrugged. "Apparently they do."

"Who was that at the church? He acted like he knew you, and he seemed to be using me to get to you. Like he was trying to make you mad." Lily looked over at Trevor, she had her hand in the crook of his Elbow. "I don't need to be worried, right? He won't hurt you?" Lily looked down, her concern sounded like the concern of a girlfriend not a friend, but she felt like she had to be concerned, whoever the Mason fellow was, he seemed to have it out for Trevor.

"Trevor!" One of the group members came up to him, he had gone to Lily's house, he knew Trevor would want someone there and it was instinctive. They stopped and he leaned in to whisper so low Lily couldn't here. "Mason, and his pack were at her house, they can track her now, all of them not just Mason, they have her scent and its a hard scent to miss." The man sighed. "Trevor, The pack is almost as big as ours."

Lily could feel the tension in whatever the conversation was about. She smiled at Trevor when they kept walking, she could tell her was stressed. Feel it even, she just wanted to make him feel better. "Can I do anything to help?" Lily looked him in the eyes. "I do want to help. I'm always here if you need me."

Lily decided to walk home alone, Trevor was stressed and the others did to. She promised him she would stick to the main road, not the forest path she would usually take. "Its nice to see you again Lily." Lily turned, her stomach dropping when she saw Mason. "Its Liliana." Mason made a face. "Someones touchy with who can call her what." Lily shrugged. "I just don't like you." Mason made a mock hurt face. "Why not I've never done anything to you?"

"But you have to Trevor. You provoke him and use me to do. On top of that your following me. Stop." Mason chuckled. "You care about him."

"Hes my friend, of course I care about him." Mason chuckled. "No Liliana, You see its much more than that. You two are connected, in a very special way. Haven't you noticed? Your a smart girl, I would assume you have. How you know when he's not okay, you can feel when he's stressed, angry, sad, you can feel his happiness and share it with him, how you always want to spend all your time with him. Its the same for him, he knows when your in pain, he can feel it, stress, anger, sadness, he can feel when your in danger, in distress, Like you are now. Which means we don't have much time." Lily took a few steps back. "Time for what?"

"Because of you bond; I can destroy Trevor with you, I thought I would never be able to get to him, that he would never chose a mate. But he did, and he chose a weak Little human girl, who can do nothing to defend herself against us." Mason shrugged. "Its nothing personal Liliana, I can see why he chose you, not only are you pretty, but you have all the qualities. The qualities to be a Good Mother who could raise another Alpha, the qualities to help him lead that excuse he calls for a Pack. He probably actually loves you."

"You're werewolves." Lily took another step back turning to run, Mason sighed. "She finally figured it out." He sighed again. "They never make it easy. After her. and Finish her." The two wolves came after her, the road was lit but it was still night, the town was asleep. One managed to clip Lily with his paw leaving four long gashes down her arm and sending her flying, she hit a tree knocking the wind out of her system. She could hear the snarling but her vision was in and out, her vision cleared enough that she saw Trevor. "Trevor...they'll...." and everything was gone, just like that.

Lily came to in a emergency room hospital bed, it looked like a trauma bay if she wasn't mistaken, she could see the nurses telling someone they couldn't come in but when her vision cleared enough she could see it was Trevor and his sisters. "Nurse, Its alright, He's my boyfriend, and the two girls are his sisters." Lily said softly hoping she would let them in, hoping it would be true at the same time. The nurse nodded but ran off, probably to get the doctors, Lily's heart rate spiked like it normally did when Trevor was around, but this time it was visible on a monitor.

She could see Trevor's face was bruised, and she frowned, she knew exactly what did that, when he got close enough she put her hand on his cheek running her thumb gently over the bruise. "Are you okay?" She asked softly. It wasn't long before the Doctors came rushing in.

"I've called your Dad Lily." A Doctor who was friend's with her Dad said. "Thank you Lucas." Lily replied, he looked over at Trevor and his sisters then back at Lily with raised eyebrows. "My boyfriend and his sisters."
Lily said and he looked reassured. "You were attacked by some sort of Animal." Lily nodded. "Wolves...It was wolves, two of them." She gave Trevor a knowing look, before turning her attention back to the Doctor.

"You took quite the hit, it didn't break your arm but it sprained it pretty badly, and of course left you a wonderful gift of four long gashes and a concussion, you must have hit your head." He closed the chart shining a light in her eyes. "Your Father should be here soon." He said leaving. Lily looked back over at Trevor when she was sure Lucas was gone, she frowned at the worried expression they all had. "I'm fine. I'm not dead. Which means I'm fine."

During the funeral Lily laid her head upon Trevor's shoulder, and he interlocked his hand into hers, hoping that would provide her some comfort. He could feel the mixed emotions swelling up inside her. Sadness, unease, it was grieve. He knew it all too well. He wished he could do something, say something to ease her mind, but he couldn't do a thing. She'd have to come to terms with this on her own, the only thing he could do was make sure she knew he was there for her when she does need him. What else is he to do?

After the funeral was done he, and Lily left the church, with her hand wraped around his arm. He sighed when she began asking about Mason. He knew this was coming, he'd been preparing to explain it to her without revealing the existence of the supernatural. "It's....complaicated. It's an old time Gypsy blood feud between my family, and his. Dates back to the old country." He explained, though it was for the most part a lie. "Our caravans have crossed paths once, or twice in the past." He let out a big sigh, and rubbed the back of his neck. He didn't like lying to her, but he couldn't tell her the truth.

"Don't worry about him. His bark is worse than his bite. Just....you know, stay away from him. Just in case." He stated with a slight chuckle at his statement about his bark being worse than his bite, if only she could understand it. "And don't worry about me. I can take care of myself. I'm very scrappy for your information." He said with a slight smirk. He could tell she was worried about him, and he her. But he can handle himself, her on the other hand. He's more worried about her than anyone else.

When the pack member approached him with the information on Mason's pack he became uneasy, and angry, but he did his best to contain his anger in front of Lily. "No, it's nothing. We're fine. I just got a few things to take care of. I'll talk to later." He replied to Lily. "Just....take the main road ok?" Once she left he returned to a serious composure. He knew what he had to do to protect Lily, and her family. He had to kill Mason, and destroy his pack. Before he met Lily he wouldn't have considered going to war with another pack, but for Lily, he'll fight them on his own if he had too.

Trevor, and the pack spent the remaining time sereaching for Mason's pack, to no results. Then he felt it. Lily's fear, and anger. She was in danger. He could feel it in his very being that she was in trouble. "Mason." He growled as his eyes turned yellow, and his rage swelled up inside him. He ran off towards the direction of Lily, and Mason. At this point his wolf was driving him towards his mate. He was ready to kill, or die for his love.

He arrived to see Lily fallen on the ground, and leaped in front of the wolves. Trevor's ears began growing, becoming pointed, and his finger nails grew to be monsterous claws. His brow began widening, his teeth were replaced by thick fangs, and even more hair grew all over his body. Once his transformation was complete he released a thunderous roar at his enemies which forced the two wolves to back away slightly. They looked back to their Alpha who was in a similar form to Trevor.

The wolves rushed forward at Trevor, who merely swated them away like flies. They hit the ground hard, and released a pitiful whine. Trevor, and Mason roared at each other with increasing ferocity. "I'm gonna rip your liver out through your nose!" Trevor snarled, with his voice being much deeper, and more threatening. They rushed forward to each other, and began exchanging blows. They clawed, and punched each other at incredible speeds. Physically they were matches in every way. They both got in their fair share of blows, but they matched each other well. But their battle was interupted by the timely arival of a couple members of his pack in an SUV.

Mason saw this, and backed away from Trevor, and the others. The two wolves got up, and took a defensive stance. "This isn't over. Not by a long shot." Mason snarled as they backed away towards the forest, and then seemingly disappeared amongst the trees. Trevor returned to his human form, and rushed to Lily's side. He brushed some of the leaves on her face, and some of her hair to the side. She was alive. He picked her up off the ground, and cradled her in his arms. "Boss, we need to get her a hospital." Jack stated as he approached them.

"Yeah. We need to hurry." He stated as he carried her to the SUV. He gently placed her in the back seat, and laid her head on his lap. Lizzy got in the passanger's seat, and Michelle in the very back. As they drove to the hospital Trevor tenderly stroked head, on the verge of crying. It felt as if his heart was being stabbed. "You're going to be ok. You have to be." He whispered desperately.

When they arrived at the Hospital Trevor rushed her inside, carrying her the whole way. He bulldozed his way past other people, and got her to the nurses on duty. As they took her back he, and his sisters tried to follow, but were stopped by a nurse. "I'm sorry sir, but family members only." She said in a stern, but yet still polite manner. Trevor glared at her like he was prepared to kill her. "I'm NOT leaving her!" He snarled at her with a tightly clinched fist. Luckily Lily came to, and allowed the nurse to wave them through. He might have done something stupid if not for her. He rushed to her side.

When she ran her thumb on his bruised face he had a relieved smile. "Don't worry about me. I'll be ok, it's you that matters right now." He stated, doing everything to fight the tears that tried to roll down his face. He cupped her hand into his, and held it softly, and continued to do so. When the doctor came in, and she said it was wolves that attacked her, and gave him a strange look, his heart nearly stopped. What did she know? What did Mason say to her before he arrived? These questions would have to wait.

Once the doctor left Trevor continued his worried expression. "You're not fine. You were attacked by animals, and hit your head. Who knows what that might have done to you." He slightly snapped at her. He was just so full of rage against Mason. "I'm sorry....I just...I don't want to see you hurt. I was so scared that I.....nevermind." He sighed. He was so scared that he had lost her. He was beginning to understand Lawrence's reasons for leaving. He still didn't like it, but he was beginning to understand.

"So...um...boyfriend huh? Did you just say that to get us in, or did you hit your head hard?" He asked with a slight smirk. He needed to keep his mind off of what just happened. "I...wouldn't be....opposed to it." He awkwardly stated. He looked deeply into her beautiful blue eyes, and took a big gulp in. Her scent was even more intoxicating than usual. A single drop of sweat rolled off the side of his head, her heartbeat echoed through his mind. She was the only thing in the world to him at this point.

He leaned in closer to her face, becoming mere inches away. He couldn't control himself anymore. He passionatly pressed his lips against hers, and deeply kissed her. And it felt amazing. His entire body tingled with pleasure. It felt like a million fireworks were going off inside his head. It felt natural. After minute that felt like an eternity he pulled away in a slight panic. "I-I'm sorry...I couldn't....control myself. I'm sorry..." He apologized as he struggled to regain his breath. He then pulled his hand away from hers, and sat back down in the chair next to her bed.

"Just..uh...forget...it happened." He said in a shakey, unsured tone. He didn't want her to forget it, but he couldn't do this to her. She was attacked today because of him, and on the day of her mother's funeral no less. What if she was killed because of him? What would that do to her family? He had to think of these things, and not just about himself. He had to think about what's best for her.

Lily didn't react when Trevor snapped at her, she was thankful he cared so much. "I'm fine, see look." Lily touched her finger to her nose a few times and giggled trying to reassure him that she was okay. "I'm just sore." She shrugged, it was a usual thing for her to be sore, she had five younger siblings, being sore was nothing to her.

When he kissed her though, it was like everything washed away, there was no pain, no stress, no worries, just the immense sense of love, loving someone and being loved. When he pulled away and pulled his hand from hers, she frowned, he told her to forget about it, and she sighed reaching over taking his hand again linking her fingers through Trevor's giving it a gentle squeeze pulling her arm slightly as to pull him out of the chair. "Why would I want to forget that? I didn't hit my head that hard." Lily smiled at him pressing another gentle kiss to his lips, she stayed within inches of his face when they broke apart, she rested her forehead against his. "You are my Boyfriend after all." she whispered with a small smile.

"So, whens the wedding?" Jackson smiled leaning against the door walking in when Lily pulled away from Trevor. "If your going to start that, you can leave now Jackson." Lily said with a small joking smile. The family came in happy to see Lily awake an her usual self. Jocelyn had climbed onto Trevor's lap after glaring at him for a few moments, and quite clearly stating that Lily was still hers. Lily just rolled her eyes shaking her head.

"As long as you look after My little girl..." Lily's Dad started looking at Trevor. "I don't mind." Lily smiled, her dad had let her date, but had never been supportive of the guy, or at least tried to be but never was. She smiled at Trevor. Looking around the room everyone who she wanted there, was there.

Lily leaned against Trevor as the walked, her fingers were loosely locked with his. "I know." She said softly lifting her head up off Trevor's shoulder. "I know that the Wolves that attacked me aren't normal wolves. Their Werewolves, and I know you are too. I had my suspicions before, but, Mason decided to try and provoke me before he sent them after me, he just confirmed it." Lily sighed a little when they stopped. "I also know I'm in a lot of danger." She turned to face Trevor linking her arms loosely around his torso, looking him in the eyes. "I'm not afraid."

"Mason, wants you to suffer. That scares me. It scares me because I love you." Lily lifted her good arm brushing her thumb against his cheek the way she did two weeks before in the hospital. "I'm not going to go anywhere alright? I'm going to stand right beside you, and help you in anyway I can. I'm here for you and the others. I promise."
Lily rested her head against Trevor's chest, his heart beat was soothing, she wanted to stay there forever. "Just promise me you'll be careful..." Lily added, concern in her voice, she couldn't bare to lose him, the same way he couldn't bare to lose her.

"Jocelyn! are you ready for school?" Lily called, September had come around to quickly, her arm was still sprained making her life harder with the kids, but the cuts were healing and didn't bother her anymore. "Almost! Is Trevor coming?" Jocelyn asked coming down the hallway. "He said he would see us there. Now hurry up or you'll make everyone late." Lily rushed everyone out the door, their Dad had gone to the police station and then was heading to the Diner so Lily was left with the kids, and Jackson Like usual was being unhelpful.

Kasey had started walking fairly well, the trick was keeping her near by, Lily had to keep an eye on here 24/7 now. "I don't see Trevor." Jocelyn looked up at Lily. "Oh, he'll show up, they spend every waking moment together." Jackson smiled innocently at his sister, she just shook her head Bringing them over to the large group of kids.

Lily scooped Kasey up much to her disapproval as she started to fuss in Lily's arms. "Kase, you really aren't helping my arm." Lily mumbled to the child. "There he is!" Jocelyn almost Squealed running over to Trevor when she saw him, other than the occasional warning that Lily was hers, Jocelyn got along with Trevor fairly well. A few of the Parents from the pack followed as their children were starting school as well. Lily smiled when they came over. "Are you all excited?" Lily asked kneeling so she was around eye level with most of them, they all nodded, big smiles on their face.

Lily gave Jocelyn a kiss on the head, and waved the rest of her siblings off, it was nice having the Senior high in the exact same spot. She wished the Pack kids a good day and gave most of them a hug, but a lot of them had ran away before she could. Once the crowd had Cleared Lily put Kasey on the ground letting her wander around, but she really just stood at Lily's feet staring at Trevor or one of the other parents.

"Good morning." Lily smiled at him kissing him softly, she pulled away when Kasey started Fussing. She sighed picking up the little one. "And you, Miss. Need to go to daycare." The daycare was a few blocks away from the school. "There's Miss Kasey." One of the teachers smiled, she looked at Lily and her eyes turned pitiful. "How are you? Everyone heard about the attack. I hear your Father is tracking down the Wolves that did it?" Lily nodded slightly. "I'm fine. My Dad says it looks like the wolves have moved on." The teacher nodded. "And he will be picking up Kasey?"

"Yes, he has the kids tonight." Lily smiled, she kissed Kasey's head wishing her a good day, sighing in relief when she turned back to Trevor. "Home free." Lily smiled, she loved her siblings, but they were tiring that was for sure.

When they came to where the Pack was the usual people showed up for a daily sort of report Lily had grown use to hearing. "We have people watching the school." That made Lily relax, she was thankful they were watching over her family as well, Trevor and them were her main concern. "Mason was lurking around Lily's house last night, he didn't seem to do anything but walk around though." Lily could feel Trevor tense, she gently ran her hand up and down his arm. "We lost track of his pack at the waterfall a few miles from the north of the city. We haven't picked up their scent again. That's all sir." Lily sighed, Bad news, it always seemed to be bad news, she looked at Trevor giving him a reassuring smile.

"It will be okay." Lily smiled when they had left to continue searching. "They can't just disappear, we'll find them." Lily leaned against a tree wrapping her arms around Trevor's neck. "Everything is going to be fine." Lily pressed her lips to Trevor's drawing him closer, she wanted him to relax, ease up, whenever they touched now, even if it was just their hands it was like fireworks, she was often amazed by what a Kiss like this could do to both of them. When they pulled away they were both out of breath, It made Lily smile, she kept her eyes closed, tangling her fingers in Trevor's hair kissing him again. It was like a need now, and everyday Lily found herself not wanting him to stop.

Trevor smiled when Lily didn't rebuff his kiss, and gave him one in return. "So then, I guess I have no choice huh?" He smirked when she declared him as her boyfriend. A wave of relief, and happiness swept through his body. It felt so natural. He enjoyed the moment they had as their foreheads touched. Though his head was telling him to tell her no, that it'd be too dangerous for her, but his heart was telling him this was right. Well, his heart won this day. When they interrupted by the arrival of her family he slightly jumped up.

When Jocelyn climbed up on him, and glared at him he raised his eyebrow, and gave her a amused smile. He took a deep, and nervous gulp when her father came in. He wasn't quite sure how he'd react to him. Most parents wouldn't be exactly thrilled that their daughter is dating someone like him. He was surprised that he was so cool with it. "Of course. I would never do anything to hurt her. I promise." He replied to his statement about looking after Lily. He'd sooner chew off his own arm before he'd do anything to hurt her. He loved her.

The next two weeks were some of the best in his life. He was utterly, and completely in love with Lily. He blissfully walked with Lily, her head resting on his shoulder, and their hands locked together. "Know what?" He asked. He already knew what she was talking about. He's been dreading this conversation. When she confronted him about being a werewolf he stopped in his tracks. He looked at her eyes, and studied her face. He wanted to say something to cover it up. That she hit head, and was probably imagining things. "I...am a werewolf. And my caravan is my pack, and I'm their Alpha."

He couldn't lie to her anymore. It just wasn't in him. He loved her, and she needed to know everything. When she wrapped her arms around him, and they embraced. He felt relieved that she was so accepting of this. "Hey, I said it before, and I'll say it again. I'd never let any harm come to you. I promise." He said, trying to put her worries at ease. He moved his arm up her back, and softly petted her on the back of the head. "I'd never hurt the love of my life." He admitted as he slightly pulled away, and cupped her chin with his hand, and made her look up at him. His eyes were glowing yellow, and then he passionately kissed her.

Trevor rushed his pack of kids into the various cars of the pack. There was quite a few ankle-biters. It was the first day of school, and for most it was their first day at a public school. Most have been homeschooled by a couple of the pack members that used to be teachers. They pretty much had their own school system, but since they were staying in Jasper he figured it'd be best to intergrate them into the town as much as possible. It's received mixed results from the populus of the town. They were still seen as the outsiders.

When they arrived Jocelyn immediately ran over to him. Trevor scooped her up, and tossed her up in the air to her delight. He caught her several times as she came down. "What are you doing blondie? Excited for school?" He asked through her bouts of laughter. She nodded in response. He sat her down on the ground, and waved her off. He turned to his sisters, and looked them over. He sighed, and gave them a proud, dad-like smile. "Ah, my girls are growing up." He smirked as he ruffled their hair.

"God stop! I just got it how I liked it! You suck!" Michelle groaned as she pushed him away, and fixed her hair. "Seriously, were're not kids anymore." Lizzy added as she fixed her's as well. "I know. You have a good day. Love you." He smiled as he brushed some hair out of Lizzy's face. "Love you too." "Love you too." They both said at the same time. "Now go on before I give you runts a big, sloppy kiss." He smirked as he patted them on the back.

When Lily came over, and kissed her he had a statisfied smile plastored across his face. He placed his hands on her hips, and started to lean in again for another kiss before they were interrupted by Kasey. When Lily picked her up he rolled his eyes. "Here, you shouldn't be carrying her with your arm like that." He said in a stern voice as he took the baby out of her hands. Trevor carried Kasey to the day care a couple of blocks away, and handed her off to the teacher when they got there.

As the pack gave him a report of the current situation, he began to tense up. He clinched his fist tightly, none of it was good news. It seems like all they get is bad news anymore. He slightly relaxed as Lily tried to comfort him. She was really good at this. He was so glad that he brought her into the fold. "Alright, Jack you keep on trying to find Mason. Harry, Mark, you guys tail Michael, keep him safe. Be careful, remember he was a cop before. Alright, that's all."

He smiled as Lily tried to cheer him up. "I know it'll be ok. Mason won't win. I've got something to fight for, he doesn't." He stated with a slight smile. They began instensely making out. And it felt incredible. He had never been as happy as he was with her. All his troubles, all his problems just went away. When they breifly pulled away he had trouble catching his breath. He touched his forehead to her's, and smiled. They went back at it even more intensely this time. He placed one hand on the tree above her, and the other firmly on her hip.

He released a slight growl as claws began forming on the hand on the tree. He moved out of the kiss, and went straight to her neck. He began more roughly kissing, and very lightly biting her neck. His other hand began moving around her back, pushing her body closer to his. His eyes began glowing yellow, and he noticed his claws as he scrapped them into the tree bark. He pushed himself away from Lily, his teeth revealing themselves to be fangs. He huffed in a slight panic, and looked down at his claws. He clinched his fists, closed his eyes, and began taking slow, deep breaths in.

He opened his eyes to reveal them to be normal again, and he opened his hands as well, them too being normal. "I-I'm sorry....I couldn't....control myself." He struggled to get out. His gaze turned from Lily, unable to look her in the face. "I almost.....I'm sorry.....I'm sorry.....I'm so sorry." He repeated in shame. Though he didn't harm her, he almost did, and it was too close a call. He's never heard of a werewolf taking a human as a mate, and he's not quite sure if this was normal, or what. At times he could feel his wolf wanting to take control when he was around her, and he's been too scared to allow it.

Lily sighed when Trevor revoked his touch and pushed away, she opened her eyes to see him calming himself down. She waited until he was calm not wanting to upset him more than he already looked upset. "Stop apologizing." she said softly going over to him. "I'm not afraid of you." Lily put her hand on either side of his face forcing Trevor to look at her. "Stop being afraid of yourself." she looked him in the eyes for a few moments before moving her hands to his chest. "I'm not glass you know." she joked smiling at Trevor, she knew she was more delicate than them, easier to hurt, and not as easy to heal, she knew that scared him.

Lily went to kiss him again, but she turned away from him quickly when she heard loud yelling from some sort of argument, and unfamiliar voices. Lily stayed hidden in the tree line watching Trevor closely. "We aren't here to hurt anyone." A man stepped forward, by his posture he was clearly the man in charge, and by the way a few of his group members had shifted the Alpha of another pack. "We are here to make an alliance. Mason Abblar, is building up his. We want nothing to do with him. We thought we'd join the winning side. You'll need the help." The man looked around, almost surprised Lily wasn't at Trevor's side. "Shouldn't the Alpha female be with you?" The man asked looking at Trevor. "She isn't here." One of the others growled. "Please, I can see the way he is standing. She's here somewhere. I want to make sure shes agreeable before I sign my pack allegiance away."

Lily took in a breath coming out from the trees. "I think you will find me very agreeable." Lily took her place beside Trevor, she smiled kindly at the man. "Good, now we can get to business." Lily managed to convince Trevor to let the pack stay until they deemed themselves trustworthy or not, she thought they would need the extra help.

Lily watched Trevor closely biting her lip, she wanted to kiss him again, but she didn't want to stress him out anymore than he was already stressed. She simply leaned on him placing lightly placing her hand on his stomach. "How many more do you think will come?" Lily asked softly. "If people are choosing sides, how many do you think will come to ours?" Lily lifted her head to look at Trevor again, biting her lip again when their eyes met. Now it was taking everything in her to stop herself.

She took in a deep breath. "Trevor..." She muttered slightly, breaking the silence of their gaze.

Trevor was slightly relieved when Lily rebuffed his apologies. When she touched his face, and forced him to lock his eyes to her, a worried expression crossed his face. When her hands moved from his face, and down his chest he ever so slightly smiled when she did. "Maybe you should be afraid. If I ever hurt you, even by accident, I'd never forgive myself." He stated with a slight sigh. He's been so worried about her getting hurt because of him. As she pulled herself in once more for another kiss he tried to fight it for a moment, but his hand instinctly wrapped around her hips.

Before their lips made contact he turned his head towards the direction he heard more voices come from. They were unfamilar. He sniffed the air, and caught their scent, and it was unmistakably the scent of werewolves. "Hide." He ordered with a fierce tone. After she hid herself in the treeline a group of werewolves came forward. He glared at them as they said they were here to help him. "Yeah, I figured he'd be getting himself allies. He can't take me by himself in a fair fight." Trevor stated. And then they mentioned Lily.

"I can handle my own affiars! She's of no concern to you!" He growled through his teeth, looking directly at the Beta that growled eariler. And then Lily came from out of the trees. He rolled his eyes slightly. "I can handle this." He whispered to her. "If you want to help against Mason, fine. That's great. But I'm not just going to take you in on faith alone. You can stick around for now, but I'll be watching you. Closely. If any of you do something I don't like, I will run you out of town." He stated. The pack's Alpha nodded in agreeance.

Once they finished working out terms for an allegiance, the pack left Lily, and Trevor. They were alone once again. "I don't know how many more will come. We've made several allies over the years." He stated. "Some will come out of respect for my father, some for me. But we've also stepped on quite a few toes as well. We've got distant cousins, on my father's side, up in Canada. We haven't spoke to them in a long time, but they might come down. Word travels fast." He stated. He began to say something else, but stopped when their eyes met.

Her heartbeat sounded like thunder in his ears. He was trying to control himself, but it was a up hill battle at this point. His eyes began zoning out as he stared at her. And then she said his name. Her voice was soothing, sounding like a lullaby to his ears. "Lily......I'm sorry..." He was at his wits ends. He couldn't control himself anymore. He pushed his lips against hers, and backed her against a tree. His left arm ran up the small of her back, while his right hand grasped her upper thigh.

His lips began moving up, and down her neck, and collarbone, kissing, and licking her. His left hand pulled her closer to him. He lifted his head from her neck. His eyes were glowing yellow as his eyes locked into hers, and he let out a bonechilling growl. His lips locked in with hers once again as he pulled her closer. His instincts were in complete control of him now.

Lily gave him a confused look when he apologized. "Why are you-" She was cut off by his lips against hers, and before she knew it, Trevor had her backed up against a tree. His kisses were hungry, and were stealing the air from her body, but they were also filled with love, she met them with ones of her own.

When he went at her neck Lily tangled her fingers in his hair. "Trevor..." Lily whispered his name again, but this time it wasn't out of concern or question, it was out of pleasure and passion. The growl he let out sent a chills through her body, she questioned if she was sane for not being afraid of him, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her.

When his lips came back to hers Lily kissed him just as passionately, she wasn't letting it stop this time, and it didn't.

Lily greeted Trevor with a kiss the next day, letting her siblings run loose with their friends. She sighed seeing the look he had, she had seen the bruises in the morning, on her neck, there were a few on her arm but the most prominent ones were the ones on her wrists. Trevor was much stronger than Lily was, and she knew how he felt about hurting her. Walking hurt to a point, but she would never admit it to him. "I'm fine." she rested her hands on his shoulders giving a reassuring smile. "Their just bruises, and they...were worth it." This time her smile was a little more mischievous before she kissed him again.

"No beating yourself up, okay? I would do it again in a heartbeat." She was speaking the truth, she would have lead him back into the trees then, but, her siblings were around this time, and she was convinced someone would stumble upon them. "Lets have fun, Mr. I'm a Serious Alpha. I'm so scary." Lily tried to mimic a Trevor face, but wasn't able to hold it, she just burst out laughing. "Love you." She smiled innocently pecking him on the lips before walking away knowing he would follow.

"Nobody finds out about this. That includes Trevor." Lily looked at Michayla, it had almost been a month and a half, Mason had been staying low, and even then they had Allies, packs had been coming from everywhere, Trevor had been right, and they were more in love than ever. After that first time Trevor had gained good control, and they were able to be more intimate than kissing and holding hands, more often. "It is his isn't it? Lily nodded slightly, she ran her hand over her stomach, Mason had said Trevor could feel things, she hoped he couldn't feel this.

"Come on, we need to go." Lily took one more look at the test as if it had lied to her the first time before throwing it away. She rounded everyone up, and handed the babysitter for Kasey a list. Her dad was working late again but would be home before they would.

The night was going well, it was just a time for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, forget about everything, it had been Lily's idea to have a little party, but it wasn't so little with all of the visiting packs, but everyone was having a good time and that was important. Lily hesitated when someone asked her if she wanted a Drink, Trevor had got her used to drinking at these things, it was odd now for her to turn a drink down, but she had too. She shook her head. "No, Thank you though."

But like that the party stopped, Lily heard growling, and a name she didn't think she would hear for a while, she turned around to see Mason holding a knife to her sisters throat. She moved faster than Trevor could react to grab her. "Jocelyn..." Lily looked up at Mason who had that sickening smirk on his face. "Jocelyn, just keep looking at me." Mason chuckled. "Yes Jocelyn, keep looking at your sister."

"Let her go." Lily growled, but Mason just growled back, she wasn't used to being crossed like that, or approached so boldly, but she often forgot, Mason was at the same level she was. "Not until you reveal to everyone your little secret." Mason smiled. "I've been watching you, Trevor's mutts were to dumb to know I was there." Lily put a hand on her stomach. "Tell everyone, or the runt dies." Lily looked at him. "Why do you want everyone to know so badly?" At this point Lily could hear everyone whispering about what Mason was talking about, and could feel Trevor's presence behind her, she knew why he hadn't made a move, Jocelyn was in Mason's grip and he would kill her. Lily had to get Jocelyn away from him so Trevor could move in with the pack.

"I'm pregnant." Lily said looking Mason right in the eye. "I don't think everyone heard you." Lily didn't care if everyone had heard her, she knew Trevor had, but she went to say it again, Mason was provoking the whole pack at that point. "I'm Pregnant." Lily said louder, she heard the Growling, and knew everyone had heard her that time.

Mason looked at Trevor now. "See? You've killed her. Your baby, Trevor, will kill her." Mason chuckled. "Just the way my mom died having me. She was exactly like you Lily. But, you see, werewolf babies are stronger, they grow faster, you will deliver at seven possibly eight months instead of nine. They are more than the human body can handle, they are a trauma when they are born. Trevor, has killed you, in the simplest way possible. By instinct." Mason pushed Jocelyn towards Lily, Jocelyn ran into her sisters arms.

Lily held Jocelyn close, she didn't have to turn around to see how angry Trevor was, she could feel it. But she wasn't sure if he was angry with himself or with Mason. Mason was running now, and the pack was behind him. Lily felt Trevor go past her, Mason had more planned to this, or he wouldn't have made her say anything about the baby. He was going to torture Trevor with his own child, the thought made Lily cry, she held Jocelyn closer.
