Dangerous; the one word that could be used to describe Mason. He's looks charming enough, and even like he would be safe to approach. He never looks dirty and is always well put together. He has that look to him that he could be your Prince charming, your savior, but he is quite the opposite.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Mason is a nightmare in a body. Someone you wouldn't want to cross twice. He is charming enough that everyone feels safe around him, like hes trustworthy, he gives off the vibe of being a good business man, someone you could negotiate with, or even have a good time with; but he is the opposite of what his outside tells you, he is unforgiving, and unmerciful, and has been given the ability to be one of the greatest predators on the earth.

Most would classify him as a Sociopath, his ability to feel remorse, or anything else is non existent. He cares about himself, and only himself, the well being of others is simply a hurdle he must overcome. He is smart, calculating, and a force to be reckoned with, but his thirst for power can often make him reckless. He enjoys to see his enemies suffer. Mason likes to push other peoples buttons, he can identify their weakness and use it against them, he find it entertaining and unfortunately he easily becomes bored.

Mason is vengeful, and knows how to hold a grudge, getting on his bad side could very well be the last thing you ever do. He is the classic hunter, though Mason never learned the rule, don't play with your food, or in this case, don't play with your victims. He is a Killer, and he knows it.

His manipulative qualities is what makes him a good leader, he can convince those following him that he is leading them to success when he is most likely leading them to destruction, like him, his followers are power hungry, and dangerous, willing to do whatever it takes to get on the top.

Mason, had never been a normal child. From the moment he was born he was a killer.

Mason's Mom, had been a human girl, thrown into the world of the supernatural at the young age of eighteen. She was twenty one when Mason came into the world. Unfortunately he would never get to know his Mother. Even though his Mother was human, Mason was not, the Werewolf gene was always dominant; and Werewolf children are fast growing, making them stronger at the time of delivery than a Human baby, and are a trauma on the body; it is rare for the Mother to survive, which is why it is rare for a werewolf to chose a Human mate.

Mason's Mother wasn't one of the lucky ones. She passed away a few hours after Mason was born.

His Fathers pain was evident all through Mason's life, he tried his best not to blame his son, how could he blame a baby? But the anger was still evident. He was hard on Mason, harder than he needed to be, Mason was a good kid, kept his head down, stayed out of trouble, yet his Father was still hard on him like he had done everything wrong. It wasn't long before Mason became as cold as his Father.

When Mason was around nineteen, there was a Attack on his pack, everyone was killed, everyone but him. Mason wandered around injured, for days, he just wandered, everyone was dead, everyone. Trevor's pack found him, and Trevor's parents being as kind as they were took him in, nursed him back to health. Mason was envious of Trevor's family though, Trevor had grown up with his Mother, their pack was thriving.

He became determined to take that away, take the pack for himself. He almost succeeded, he managed to Kill Trevor's Mother but couldn't get to his Father before the pack went after him. While Trevor went on to piece his pack back together. Mason went on to create his own, just as powerful, and just as capable. He wanted Trevor's pack wiped off the face of the earth, and he wouldn't stop until it happened.

The next as Trevor dropped off the kids for school, and was greeted by Lily with a kiss. He looked at her with a worried, and shamed expression as he saw the bruises he inflicted upon her, and frowned. Despite her reassurance that she was fine, and qute enjoyed last night, he was still less than thrilled. He lost control of himself, he still hurt her, and he felt awful about it. Nothing she could say would make him feel any better about it. "I doubt your dad would take it so lightly. I'd be the gyspy trash that beat on his daughter."

He sighed when she said she'd do it again in a heartbeat. He held his arm up, and rubbed the back of his head. "It's just that....I've never had trouble controling my wolf until I came here. Even as a kid I've been in touch with it. To lose control like that, especially around you...it scares me. It only takes one slip..." He sighed with his worried expression becoming much more serious. He smiled slightly when she tried to mimic him. "For the record, I don't sound like that. I have a bit more bark to me." He smirked. "I love you too." He said as he followed behind her closely.

Over the course of the next month things had been going great. He, and Lily were better than ever. His alliance against Mason had grown quite well. Though they've seen little of Mason, and his group during this time. But it didn't bother Trevor that much. He was happy, finally having something, someone that he wants. That he gets a choice in. He's been able to control himself better when with Lily, after having many intense meditation sessions with his wolf, they came to an understanding, and his wolf realized that it was hurting Lily in the end.

Later that night, following Lily's idea, the allied packs had a small party for them to get better acquainted with one another. It was going well. People were laughing, and enjoying themselves. It was quite nice, and made Trevor happy. But he noticed Lily acting somewhat odd. He could sense something weighing heavy on her mind, and felt as if she was hiding something. He then noticed her oddly refusing a drink. "Babe you ok?" He asked with a worried expression. He didn't want to push her on anything, he completely trusted her.

He was about to ask her once again, but then his heart stopped. He sniffed the air, and caught his scent. Mason's scent. Mason held Jocelyn by knife point. Trevor glared at him, his eyes glowing ever more intensely. "Lily wait!" He growled, but it was too late, Lily was already off towards Mason. Trevor followed closely behind Lily. "Let her go Mason. She's just a child, she has nothing to do with this." Trevor growled through his teeth, trying not to yell as he didn't want Jocelyn to freak out any more.

Trevor watched Lily, and Mason closely with a confused look as they talked. What were they talking about? What did Mason know that he didn't? Then his eyes widened as he mentally put the pieces together. Then Mason forced Lily to confirm it, she was pregnant. Trevor nearly hyperventilated at this revelation. He knew what it meant. He's been secretly doing research on werewolf, and human pairings just for this scenario. Now of what he's learned was very encouraging. He looked down at the ground. Anger swelling up inside him at the thought of losing mate, and it being his fault. As soon as the baby was in Lily's arms Trevor rushed past Lily, and the baby, bolting towards Mason at alarming speed.

Several members of the packs followed behind the two warring Alphas, but were just barely able to keep up. The chase led Trevor, and Mason through the woods, the pack not even in sight. Trevor finally caught up to his nemesis, and tackled him. They both tumbled down a hill. Once they reached the bottom of the hill Trevor climbed on Mason's chest, and began mercilessly whaling on his face. "I'm going to kill you!" He snarled. Mason reached down, and grabbed the knife he threatened the baby with moments ago, and repeatedly jammed it into Trevor's side.

He stabbed Trevor one last time, and threw him off. Mason hopped up, and repeatedly punted Trevor in his ribs. "Don't worry. When you're little bitch is dead, and you're begging for me to kill you, I'll take you out to the shed, and put you down like Old Yeller." Mason smirked as he wiped the blood off his lips, and turned away from Trevor. "Oh, and congratulations by the way, dad." He added with a bone chilling laugh. Mason then ran off further into the woods. Trevor groaned in pain as he removed the knife, and threw it aside.

The pack soon arrived, and helped him up the hill. Trevor returned to the party, to Lily. His mind was still in a fog. He clinched his side, walking very carefully, and breathing very slowly, and heavily. Each step, each breath was incredibly painful. Though he would heal, it'd take awhile. He didn't just get stabbed, Mason cracked several of his ribs. It would take time for all of it to heal. He looked at Lily with shame, and sadness in his eyes. He just killed the only woman he has, and ever will love.

"Lily....I'm.....I'm so sorry." His voice was sad, he was completely broken. Tears began rolling down his face, he looked away from, unable to face her after what he's done to her. He never, ever wanted to hurt her. Her safety has been his first thought ever since he fell in love with her, and now....she was going to die because of it. Trevor turned his back to her, and began walking away. "Trevor? We need to discuss this!" Michelle stated as she grabbed him by his arm. Trevor looked back at her, tears just streaming down his face, and had a broken look in his eye. Michelle released his arm, completely shocked at the sight of him crying, something none of them have ever seen.

Trevor ran off into the forest. Though it was painful, he needed time to think. Michelle turned to Lily, and Jocelyn with a worried look, and went over to them. She petted the baby on the head, and were then joined by Lizzy. "He just needs time. He's...shaken. We all are." She said as she placed a comforting hand on Lily's shoulder. "Maybe someone should go talk to him? Maybe Jack, or you Lizzy? You guys have always been close." Michelle stated in a worried tone. "No, he just needs some time alone." Jack said as he joined them. "Are you ok? Can we get you anything?" He asked Lily.

Nearly an hour passed, and Trevor had yet to return to the others. He had ran off, and returned to the cabin. He was inside the cabin, the entire living room was a mess. He had been smashing just about everything in his rage. The TV was shattered, shards of broken booze bottles littered the floor. He sat down on the ground, his back leaning against the wall. He had a lite cigarette in one hand, and a almost empty bottle of whiskey. He rotated from drinking, and smoking.

Dried tears covered his face. He looked down at the booze bottle, and sighed. He could barely get drunk because of his healing factor, it took a lot more booze than he had for a werewolf to get properly shitfaced. "I've killed her. I've fucking killed her." He repeated several times. He knew if, when Lily died, he'd die too. He can't spend a day without seeing her beautiful smile, and now he's robbed the world of it. He couldn't help but think of Lily's family. He's ruined their lives, they just lost their mother, and now they'll lose Lily. And it's all his fault.

"He won't hurt any of us. Lawrence and I are perfectly fine, safe and happy, and it will stay that way." Lily reassured him with a gentle smile linking her fingers with his giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "Lets go back, I miss my baby boy...and I left him with your sisters so who knows whats going on." Lily smiled a bit brighter laughing slightly trying to lighten Trevor's mood, she hated seeing him with such a weight on his shoulder.

As soon as they got back Lily was quick to find Lawrence who was surprisingly asleep in his crib, she gently scooped him up kissing his forehead before slipping him into Trevor's arms, he needed time with the boy, it always seemed to relax him. Lily ran her hand over Lawrence's head resting her head on Trevor's shoulder, she gently took the babies hand careful not to wake him, smiling slightly when his hand tightened around her finger. "He looks more like you everyday... She commented softly pressing a gentle kiss to Trevor's lips. It was moments like this she loved the most.

The day had been going well, but the pack had been growing uneasy which instinctively caused Lily to grow uneasy as well, she had put Lawrence in a place no one would look for his nap as the growing feeling of danger seemed to loom over them, it seemed the feeling was right.

Before she could react there was a knife at her neck and a familiar chuckle from behind her, it wasn't long before the two packs were standing face to face, Lily locked eyes with Trevor, as if telling him the baby was somewhere safe, for now. "Wheres your little boy Lily?" Lily growled. "I'd die before I told you that." Mason clicked his tongue. "That my dear girl, can easily be arranged. Go find the boy" He nodded at a few members of his pack, he could see Trevor tense. "Ah." He said like you would scolding a dog. "I still have a knife at your mates throat, if you or one of your mutts so much as moves a muscle I'll kill her."

Mason smirked moving some of Lily's hair away from her neck, if he was going to torture Trevor, he was going to use his mate against him as well. Mason pressed kisses from Lily's ear down to where he had moved the sleeve of her shirt of her shoulder, He could almost feel the anger coming from Trevor, Lily had paled and almost felt sick to her stomach at the fact Mason was touching her the way Trevor would, the way only Trevor should. "Maybe Trevor, I'll take her too...She's very pretty, and is able to bare supernatural children...That could be useful." Lily snarled. "Go to hell." Mason simply snarled back. "She's also become a good Alpha female." Mason said referring to the way she had snarled at him, his eyes locked with Trevor's for a moment, a clear challenge, then he looked back to Lily. "But you forget sweet heart, I am your equal, you can't snarl at me and expect me to cower."

"You are in our Territory, threatening my family." Lily growled. "It would be wi-" Lily stopped mid sentence when she heard the crying, the crying of her little boy, she squirmed in Mason's grip, now she was panicked. Mason Nodded at the pack member that carried the child. "Take him." Mason kept a close eye on Trevor warning him again not to move, not to have any of their pack follow, he still had Lily at knife point, and if he so much as flinched she was dead.

Trevor faked a smile for Lily's sake. He still kept his words in the back of his mind, but for now he'll keep it there so he wouldn't worry Lily too much about it. "Right, let's head back." He replied as he followed behind Lily back to the camp. Once they arrived he gladly took the sleeping Lawrence in his arms. He gently rocked him back, and forth to keep him asleep. He looked at Lily after she kissed him, and smiled. "I don't know, I think he looks more like you." He added with a slight smirk. He then returned her kiss.

Trevor went about his day like normal, coordinating the pack in their search for Mason. As he returned to the camp to see his family he caught wind of Mason. This instantly caused him to tense up. He rushed to Lily who was now being held by Mason at knife point. He growled loudly as he stood there, powerless. His finger nails began turning to claws, and his teeth fangs as the anger swelled up inside him. His eyes began glowing brightly, almost burning with hatred. "Let. Her. Go." He snarled, his voice noticeably deeper, and more intimidating.

Trevor continued his shifting, his brow became wider, and more hair grew on his body. When Mason began kissing Lily he snarled even louder. He was ready to rip his head off with his bare hands. "I'm gonna kill you!" He roared at him nemesis. And then one of his pack brought out Lawrence. Trevor's eyes widened even more. "Let him go! Your fight's with me, not them! Let's finish this right now!" He snarled. "Yeah, no. As fun as that would be, it'd be too boring to kill you right now. I want you to suffer." Mason replied with a wolfish grin.

The beta was soon out of sight with Lawrence, and Mason pressed his knife closer against Lily's neck. "You don't know a THING about suffering! When I'm through with you, all of you, you'll be begging me to end your worthless life!" Trevor's voice became even more deeper, sounding almost demonic in nature. This caused several of Mason's betas to grow uneasy, as well as a few of Trevor's. They've never seen their Alpha act this way, it was a very scary thing. Mason merely chuckled in response. "There we go! Let that monster inside out! Show your mate who you really are."

"You see? In the end me, and him are the same animal. We're both killers." He whispered in Lily's ear. Mason looked around at his pack, and gave them a nod. He backed away with Lily still in hand. "It's been fun, but I must take my leave. I have a son to take care of after all." He then tossed Lily aside, and several of his pack members rushed towards some of the larger, and tougher of Trevor's pack to keep them off their Alpha. Mason then ran through the forest to catch up the rest of his pack.

Trevor simply threw aside the beta that came towards him like he was nothing. He glared at the direction Mason ran off to, and rushed to Lily's side to check on her. He then released a bellow of a roar. Soon the pack easily dealt with Mason's pack members, clearly they were meant to simply slow them down rather than do something to them. Trevor went over to one of them, a young looking boy, probably in his late teens. He lifted him up off the ground by collar. "WHERE IS HE?!" Trevor demanded to know. The boy remained silent.

Trevor rolled his eyes, and dropped him on the ground. He placed his hand on the top of his head, and twisted his neck fully backwards, snapping his neck with ease. He moved on to the next one, this one was a young girl, the same age as the boy. "WHERE IS MY SON!?" He roared at her. "I...I...." She could barely get the words out. Trevor plunged his clawed hand deep into her gut. Once he removed his hand she fell over dead. "Trev, stop! This is getting us nowhere." Jack intervened. Trevor glared at him with increasing intensity, forcing his friend to back away out of fear.

Trevor then doubled over in pain. His bones could be heard breaking, and shifting under his skin. His skin began turning a dark brown, and more hair grew all over his body. He began growing larger, and larger. His shirt completely ripped off his body, and most of his pants as well. His face became more wolf like, being unrecognizable. He began a monstrous biped wolf-like creature, being almost a mixture of his two wolf forms. Once he was fully transformed he stood fully up, now towering over everyone. "Oh no." Debra stated in worry.

He walked in the direction Mason went, all of the pack was in a mixture of shock, and terror. "Trevor wait! You don't have to do this alone, let us help you" Lizzy stood in front of Trevor, and pleaded with him. The only reaction Trevor gave was a low, feral growl. "Get away from him!" Debra ordered. Trevor merely backhanded Lizzy, tossing her aside. Michelle ran to her sister's side, who was out cold. "Trevor!" Jack called out as he stood in front of his Alpha. Trevor slashed upwards with his massive claws, slashing Jack's torso.

"Everyone back the hell off!" Debra growled at the pack. Trevor walked over his friend's body, who was struggling to breath at this point. Trevor then rushed forward on all fours in the direction Mason, and his pack left in on instinct. "Get them inside now! And someone tie up these remaining mutts!" Debra ordered, and then the pack scrambled to do as she demanded. She walked over to Lily, and helped her up. "What is wrong with him, why would he do that? I've never seen anything like it." Michelle asked, her eyes were on the verge of tears. "He didn't. That....beast isn't the Trevor we know."

Michelle looked at her curiously. "A lot of our changes are based on animal instincts. When we're young we are slaves to those instincts, we bend to our inner wolf's will. As we get older, and stronger we learn to respect that will, to communicate with our inner animal." She explained. "The wolf has it's own emotions, it is in a sense a different creature from our human side. And for the most part it's stronger than us, that's why we can't completely dominate it. What we just saw was Trevor dominating his inner wolf."

She then began rubbing her right forearm in unease. "That beast he turned into was his rage taking control. It's a monster of pure, unadulterated anger. He's completely feral. He'll rip apart anyone that gets in his way. Even us." She stated. "What? No, Trevor would never-" "He would, and will. In his current state he'd even kill you Lily." Debra interrupted. "But this poses a problem. If it was just Mason, and his pack's life on the line I'd let him go at it. Maybe pop some popcorn. But the baby is also caught in the crossfire."

"But Trevor would sooner tear his arm off then to hurt Lawrence!" Michelle reminded her. "You aren't listening to me! That isn't Trevor! That thing will kill Lawrence without a second thought trust me on this. I know." Debra stated with a sigh. "It....happened to me....a long time ago before I joined this pack. I....it killed my mate, and my daughters. So believe me, I know." She explained with a heavy heart. "So what do we do?" Michelle asked as she held her arms close to her chest. "I don't know. The beast-" "Will you please stop calling him that. No matter what, he's still Trevor, he's still my brother."

"Fine, Trevor will be easy to track, and he's heading after Mason. His senses are greatly enhanced, and he'll be following Mason's scent. He won't lose it." Debra explained. "So we might be able to get there during the chaos, and we might be able to get Lawrence, but again, we'll have to dodge that.....Trevor. We can't fight him. He'll too strong in this state. What do you think Lily?"

Lily listened to Debra speak, everything had happened rather quickly. She looked up when Debra spoke to her. "We are getting my baby back..." Lily moved heading in the direction that Mason had left, she had to be the most careful, she was easiest to kill, and valuable to Trevor and the pack.

They passed some sort of barrier and it was almost like they had been transported to a totally different place, she didn't know spells were a thing as well. The screaming baby that was unmistakable as Lawrence caught Lily's attention and she headed that way, Mason however must have caught her scent and was quick to intercept her throwing her up against a rock knocking the wind out of Lily completely, and probably breaking a few ribs, the back of her head was bleeding and her vision was spinning.

Before she knew it Mason was on top of her pinning her hands above her head. She growled when the pack members that had come started coming towards her. "Go get him." She managed to get out loud enough, for them to hear her, and when they headed in the direction of the baby Lily knew they had got the message.

Mason was running on instinct as much as anyone else, he didn't care about the baby as much as he cared about taking Trevor's mate, the baby was a side thing used to start everything. "You are going to be mine." Mason growled which caused Lily to sob slightly, she struggled against Mason, but he was much stronger than her and was determined to get what he wanted.

"Trevor!"
Lily cried, if he didn't hear her cry, Lily hoped he could hear her screaming.

A few of the pack members got Mason off of Lily before Trevor got to them, Lily scrambled up onto her feet, her pants and shirt were ripped in multiple places from the encounter with Mason, but she was more concerned about Lawrence, she could see the bundle in Debra's arms. Her vision was still spinning but Lily managed to get away from the main chaos, taking Lawrence from Debra as soon as they met up. "There's my baby boy. Your okay not, Mommy has you." Lily calmed the screaming baby, leaning her back up against a tree looking at Debra, she wondered how much of a mess she looked like.

Trevor ripped through Mason's pack with lightning fast speed, acting almost like they were nothing. The pack focused their attention on Trevor, paying little mind to his pack intruding on their domain. His monstrous form fell upon Mason's pack like a unyielding flood, killing everything that stood in his way. His claws, and fangs were dripping red from the blood that he had shed, making him appear even more monstrous than he already was. His eyes were a piercing bright yellow, devoid of any intelligence, and emotion except for rage. For that was what he was now, a creature of pure rage.

Trevor continued to slaughter Mason's pack. To call it a battle was being too kind, they stood no chance against the creature Trevor became. It was a massacre plan and simple. Blood splattered across the ground, and screams of agony filled the air as Trevor continued his rampage. When Mason attacked Lily Trevor roared at him upon seeing his enemy. He continued to decimate his pack despite the danger Lily was in. Luckily the pack had managed to get to him, and get him off her before she could be hurt anymore. Mason growled at the pack, and then eyed Lily, and Lawrence.

Mason merely leaped over the pack members that held him at bay, and rushed towards Lily, looking to finish her off. But before he could get to her Trevor's massive body leaped over Lily, and Debra. He pounced on Mason, bringing him to the ground. Trevor's massive jaws clenched down on Mason's right shoulder, and he shook him around like a rag doll before tossing him against a rock. Mason looked upon him with pure terror, and then looked to Lily in desperation. Everything fell silent in anticipation of the inevitable. And then all at once Trevor struck.

With ferocity that no one had ever seen Trevor began clawing, and biting at Mason's torso. His pained screams of agony echoed around, being louder than anyone's that day. The pack members that watched this happen turned away, many vomiting at the sight of his sheer brutality. After five minutes of nonstop screaming, Mason's voice suddenly stopped. He was finally death. But Trevor kept on mauling his lifeless corpse. After twelve more straight minutes Trevor stopped. As he stood up from Mason's corpse, one could see Mason's chest cavity completely ripped open, with many of his organs torn to pieces or missing all together.

Trevor walked away from Mason's corpse, and towards Lily. Bloody poured down his claws, and mouth, along with some bit of Mason's organs, and muscles as he strode towards Lily. It became increasingly apparent that there was no semblance of what made Trevor the person he is. As he moved closer Debra, almost frozen in fear did her best to pull Lily away from him, but she was so terrified that they were only inching away from him. Trevor released a thunderous roar directly in Lily's face, being loud enough to almost shatter eardrums. He then let out several smaller growls.

The creature's body began twisting, and turning. Bones broke, and snapped, and popped as he was transforming back to normal. Once Trevor was back to being Trevor he fell to his knees. Many pack members rushed to his side, asking if he was ok, but he couldn't hear a thing. He looked at them with a daze, hearing only a loud ring. He looked around at the carnage he had created, acting as if he was coming out of a haze. He then looked over at Mason's mauled body, and then snapped back to reality. It had then hit him, he did this. He killed so many.

Trevor looked down at his blood stained hands, and began hyperventilating as the blood dripped to the ground. He jumped up from the ground, and rushed behind a rock, and began vomiting. After getting everything out from pretty much the last week he stopped. His ears were still ringing, and more of the pack gathered around him to check on him. "Ge....get back....get back....get back..." He pleaded in a confused stated. He ran his fingers in his hair, and pushing some behind his ears, not realizing he was getting more blood in his hair.

He backed away from everyone, and continued to hyperventilate. His heart felt as if it was going to explode. He backed up some more, and then tripped on the corpse of a young woman in her mid twenties that he had killed. Seeing her lifeless eyes caused tears to stream down his face as he scrambled to get away from her corpse. He propped his back against a tree, and held his knees up to his chest. A terrified expression crossed his face as he looked down at the ground, unable to talk. "What have I done?" He muttered to himself, his ears still ringing, his mind was still in a haze.

"Lily, I will never stop protecting you." Trevor stated with a sigh. "I want a big family too, but we have to be smart about it. Even if you survived Lawrence, that doesn't mean you'll survive another. You barely survived Lawrence." But his words fell on deaf ears once again as Lily rolled over with her back towards to him. Trevor sighed in slight annoyance. "I'm sorry I left you, but it was something I needed to do." He stated as he picked up Lawrence, and went into the living room. He wished she could just see things his way, and not be mad at him, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Later that evening Debra came into their home in a slight panic. Trevor was playing with Lawrence when she barged in. "Hey where's the fire? It's not a literal fire is it? Jack didn't try to cook again did he?" Trevor asked as he sat Lawrence down on the ground. "If only it were that simple. We're missing one of ours. Marty, that little Irish punk with the short Mohawk, about Lizzy's age. He was supposed to be back an hour ago, and he's not answering any of our call." She stated.

"Yeah I know him, kind of a dick, but a decent enough kid. He's missing?" Trevor stated. "Yeah, his mom's worried sick. She's wondering if you'd go out and look for him. I told her it wasn't anything to worry about, he's a teenage boy, and is probably doing something stupid." She stated. "Yeah, I'll go check it out. I need some-" Before he could finish his sentence he was interrupted by his cellphone. Trevor answered it in slight annoyance. He hated having to carry around phone, but he needed one for work. Which was probably what this was about.

"Yeah Talbot." He answered. A worried expression crossed his face. Lily had come through to the kitchen at this time, but didn't seem to notice him. "Does he have any I.D. on him?.......What's the name." Trevor's eyes widened when he heard the name. "Yeah, he came with me......no I'll handle it, I know his mom. He was like family. I'll be right there." He then hung up the phone, and looked over at Debra, his eyes nearly watering. "They just found a body.....it was Marty.....his head was chopped off." Debra's eyes widened, and she covered her mouth.

"I'm gonna go see what I can find, do you want me to tell-" "No, I'll tell his mother. You have enough to deal with as it is." She stated as she looked over at the bedroom door. Trevor, and Debra entered the room soon after. "Lily, I'm not here about that. I've got to go into work. There's been a dead body found, they need all hands on deck." He stated as he got dressed in his uniform. He left out the fact that it was a pack member that died, figuring she'd just worry. He didn't want her to worry anymore.

"Lily.....I love you." He stated as he leaned in for a kiss, but was dismissed. Debra rolled her eyes as she leaned against the door frame. "I'll be back as soon as I can." He said as he ruffled Lawrence's hair, and then left. Once he was gone Debra walked over beside the bed. "My god, you two are the most stupid, melodramatic children I have ever seen." She growled at her. "Do you have any idea what it's like to lose a mate? Especially by your own, uncontrolled hand?" She asked in annoyance. "I do. I killed my children, and mate. The way Trevor would have killed you, and Lawrence."

"If you want to blame anyone for his disappearance, then you can blame me. He left at my insistence. And you know what? You should be thanking me you stupid little girl." She stated as she rubbed Lawrence's cheek, with a single tear coming down her stone face. "If he hadn't left what do you think he would have been like? Despite Trevor's toughness, he's no killer. That would have destroyed him. Don't you think so? You know him better than anyone do you think there was any chance of him being the same? He would have been a ghost, a shell of his former self. Would you prefer that?"

"What Trevor went through in Romania, I went through the same thing. He would never give you details because he cares about your feelings, I don't." She stated as she rolled up her sleeve to show a brand the same as Trevor's on her wrist. "In order to conquer that beast, you have to go through hell first. Unimaginable pain. Most die trying. Fewer return with their sanity. I will not sugar coat it. He was beaten, and tortured everyday. Given only a single hour of rest a week. He was conditioned to ignore pain. Those scars you see on him? There are ways around the werewolf healing. Barbaric ways."

"I love Trevor like my own son. I don't want to see him hurt, but sometimes pain is necessary." She stated, hoping this would get into her thick head. "I've watched Trevor grow up, and you know what the one constant for him is? Putting others above himself. Even as a baby, he would give his toys to Lizzy for her to play with. That's in his nature. And I would never change that about him. He sacrifices so much to see those around him happy. Think about everything he's sacrificed for you. And what about you Lily? What have you sacrificed for him?" She asked, her tone becoming noticeably more angered.

"Even now when you yell at him, not give him the time of day he tries. Even as we speak now. You know who that body was? It wasn't some random civilian. It was one of us, a young man who was member of the pack." She stated, going against Trevor's wishes about telling her. "His head was chopped off. He told you to protect you. Not because he thinks you're glass, because he thinks you're weak, it's because he wants to protect you from the nightmarish things an Alpha is forced to deal with. He doesn't want that burden on you. You know why? Because whether he realizes it or not, leadership eats away at you after awhile."

Debra got up, and began heading towards the door. "You want us not to think you're useless? Stop acting like it. Life is not a fairy tale. Stop acting like it is, and grow up. Face the reality of it, you aren't a werewolf, you aren't as strong as one. But yet he still loves you more than anything. The least you can do is recognize your own limitations, and not be a mopey brat about it. Ever one has their limits Lily, and so does Trevor. If you keep pushing him he will reach his." She stated rather harshly, clearly not pulling her words for her sake. "Now if you excuse me I've got more important things to do than babysit a little girl crying over the fact her husband worries so much about her safety. I've got to go inform a mother that her sixteen year old son was found beheaded. But no, your problems are ever so important more important. I'll just go take care of the common folk's problems princess, you stay and wallow in self-pity for as long as you want." She stated before she left the room to make the first of kin notification.

Trevor soon arrived at the crime scene. He ducked underneath the crime tape to approach the two white sheets, one covering the body, the other covering the head. There was a single blood splatter on the tree next to the body. Other than that the area was rather clear. There were only a couple of other deputies like him there. He looked underneath the sheet for his head, and sighed. It was Marty. "So this was one of your people?" Denise, the same chipper deputy he met on his first day in town. "Yeah, Marty....um Martian. He was a bit of a dick, and I never liked how he looked at my sister....but he wasn't a bad kid. He didn't deserve this. If you don't mind, I'm going to take a look around. Maybe I can find a trail or something."

After about ten minutes of looking around Trevor found boot prints from what appeared to be some sort of combat boot. Trevor made a whistling sound to signal for the other deputies to come over. "Here, under the leaves. It's a boot print. Had to guess I'd say a combat boot. The wearer was pretty heavy given how deep it is. From the size, I'd say we're looking for a male. A pretty big one at that." He stated. The others looked at each other, being impressed. "Wow, your dad use to be able to do things like that."[/color] Trevor looked over, and noticed a few more tracks making a slight trail. He sniffed the air, and caught a faint scent.

"Alright. I need to leave. I'm gonna go check on his mother, and see if she knows anything." He stated as he went back to his deputy's vehicle. The others gave him a nod as he left. But instead of going back home like he said, he parked some ways away from the crime scene, and decided to follow up on the trail he found by himself. No need to involve the other normal deputies, and he wanted to make sure it wasn't a waste of time before he called in the pack.

After following the trail for about twenty minutes it began to go cold. He sighed, and wondered what he was going to say to the boy's mother. The sun was completely down by now. "Just a couple more minutes and I'll go back." He muttered to himself. He sniffed the air, and looked around. Something wasn't right. No animal could be heard for miles. Nothing but complete silence. He stood there, completely motionless as he closed his eyes, and focused on his other senses.

And then it came. An arrow came barreling towards his head. Trevor plucked the arrow from the air, and quickly spun around, and threw the arrow back to where it came from. Trevor readied his pistol as he unbuttoned the holster, and held his hand on the grip. Heavy footsteps could be heard coming towards him. A tall man in a full body black combat armor, and his face covered by a metal helmet with a cross emblazoned on his forehead. "Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." His voice was deep, and gravely. He said this as he pulled the arrow from his shoulder, and tossed it on the ground.

The man reached behind him, and drew a rather large machete on Trevor. The machete had some sort of purple dust on the edge of it. "I don't know who you are guy, but drop the blade, and put your hands behind your head. You're under arrest." Trevor ordered as he drew his gun on him. The man gave no response as he strode towards Trevor. Trevor fired off several shots that merely hit his armored chest, not even slowing him down.

The man swung at Trevor, who in Matrix-like style ducked underneath it. He pressed his hand on the ground, and did a backflip, kicking the man as he went. Trevor dropped his gun, and looked up at him, his eyes glowing brightly, but instead of the yellow like it did before, this time it was more of a orange color. Trevor rushed forward at the man, clawing, and scratching at him. Though at most it did scratch up his armor. The man began trading blows, and swings with his machete at Trevor, but luckily none of his machete attacks connected.

Trevor managed to slash at the man's left arm, cutting his shirt, and revealing severely burnt skin underneath. In the brief moment Trevor stared at this was all the time the man needed. He slashed Trevor across his chest, and did so once more before stabbing him his sternum. As he pulled the blade out of him Trevor fell back to the ground. He crawled away from the man as much as he could, his breathing became heavy, and unsteady. The man calmly walked forwards towards him, ready to end the deed. As Trevor crawled he picked up his gun, and unloaded on the man.

A few shots hit him in the chest plate, another against his helmet, and one managed to get him in the left arm where the opening was. Another bullet managed to get him in his stomach right below his chest plate. The man gave no reaction, and backed away. Trevor struggled to reload his gun. But then the man left, most likely satisfied that Trevor was as good as dead. Once he was gone Trevor struggled to get his phone out. He called up Jack, and waited for him to answer, barely able to breath, or move.

"Trevor? You find out anything?" Jack answered. "H....he....hel....p.....help....help...please." He struggled to get out before he dropped the phone, and passed out. "Trevor?! Trevor?! Hold on I'll be right there!" And it wasn't even three minutes before Jack had rushed to his Alpha's aid. He carried Trevor to his car, and drove him back to the camp. On the way there Trevor faded in, and out of consciousness. In between these bouts he saw something, and figure sitting next to him. It was a familiar figure. It was Mason. "Well, well, well. You look like shit buddy." He smirked.

"De........de....dead." He struggled to wheeze out. "No, you're going to be just fine! You aren't going to die!" Jack stated, believing he was talking to him. It was clear now that Mason was just in his head. "Rest now Trevor, we've got tons more fun later." Mason smirked followed by his usual laugh. Trevor then slipped into unconsciousness.

Once they made it back to camp they immediately rushed him to Debra's camper, trying to keep the others from seeing him. But it failed as everyone was looking on. Once Trevor was in Debra's camper she ripped his shirt off, revealing the slash marks, which the skin around them became black, and infected looking. Trevor was ghostly pale, and barely breathing, at most it was a heavy wheeze. "Oh no, no, no." Debra muttered as she grabbed several herbs around her camper.

Trevor was fading in and out of consciousness at this point. When his eyes were open they were blood shot red, and almost glazed over. "Everyone out of my way! Give me room! That includes you!" She yelled as she stared at Lily.

Roughly an hour later Debra came out of the camper, and sighed as she wiped some kind of green goop off her hands. "Is he.....?" Michelle asked, not even able to finish her question as her throat was so sore from crying nonstop. "No, he's alive. For now. He was poisoned. Wolf's Bane. It's a thing, a rather bad thing. While it's still poison for humans, it's just as bad, if not worse, for us. I did what I could. He'll be bedridden for about a week or so. I put some salve on his wounds, it should help speed up his natural healing process. He's resting now. You can see him if you wish, but don't wake him, he needs his rest."

Inside Trevor was still ghostly pale as he laid motionless on the bed. If not for the occasional deep breath he had to take one would think he was dead.

Debra listened to Lily vent with no emotion. She just listened. She figured Lily needed someone to lash out at other than Trevor. And if it was her so be it. "If you tried to kill yourself so many times, how normal of a life could it have been?" The only thing she said before she left the room to give her some space. Trevor continued to lay there motionless. His eyes were darting back and forth under his eyelids showing that he was dreaming, and the way they were moving it was most likely not a very good one either.

Trevor stood there in a circle of his pack, his family, his friends, and Lily. They all stared at him with hate, anger, and an accusatory glare. "We trusted you!" "We fought for you!" "We bleed for you!" "We followed you!" "And we loved you. Yet you left us!" The people he was closest too each yelled at him one at a time. "No....I didn't.....I was trying to-" "Monster!" "Murderer!" They interrupted him. "No...no...It was....I wasn't.....It wasn't my fault....." Trevor fell to his knees as they continued to shout out words like Monster, Killer, Deserter, and Murderer at him, him being close to tears.

"You aren't the man I thought you were. You aren't the man I fell in love with, you're just a shadow. I could never love a monster like you. I. HATE. YOU." His vision of Lily shouted at him. Trevor couldn't even form any words from the heartbreak. Mason could be seen behind the crowd, smiling wolfishly. "You were right all those months ago, crimes should be punished. And so shall yours." Lily stated as she looked down at him disgust. The masked man with the machete came forward, weaving through the crowd, and grabbed Trevor by his hair, and held his blade high above his head.

Trevor's eyes began barely opening as he heard Lily's voice next to him. He could barely keep them open, but he was conscious enough. He squeezed Lily's hand slightly, it was all the strength he could muster. He let out several pained groans, acting as if he was trying to say something. "I........I.....w.....ill.....always......co....come back." He struggled to get out, harking back to what he swore to her when he first came back. "I....sorry.....don't.......be mad at me." He tried so hard to speak in complete sentences, despite how painful it was. "We can.....we can have another baby......just.....don't hate me....don't hate me.......I love......you." He pleaded, followed by a nasty sounding cough. And with that he used his last bit of strength, and passed out once more.

Throughout the rest of the night, and most of the following morning Trevor was out like a light. But his breathing did become more steady, sounding less like he was breathing through a trash bag, and some of the color returned to his skin. He was slowly, but surely improving. But that didn't stop everyone from checking up on him. Lizzy, and Michelle became permanently glued to his bedside along with Lily, Jack could be heard stomping up, and down outside where slept, worried to death himself, and Debra would come in every twenty minutes on the dot to check up on him.

Trevor's eyes then began to open when it became noon. His eyes were halfway shut so no one noticed him awake. "What's with all the......the sad faces?" Trevor asked, his voice was low, barely a whisper, and full of pain. It was obvious that it hurt to speak. He followed this with a slight chuckle that turned into a vicious cough. "Trevor!" Michelle exclaimed as she jumped up and gave him a big hug, which caused him to groan in pain. "Oh god! Sorry! Sorry!" She said as she backed away, afraid she did something to him.

"It's.....it's fine..." He muttered. "How are you feeling? What happened?" Lizzy asked in a worried tone. "I'm....I'm fine.....ready to do cartwheels." He groaned as he took off the blanket covering his legs. "I got attacked....I think.....I think he was a human.....He had arrows.....and a....uh....machete." He stated. He leaned forward on the bed, and sat up straight, all the while groaning in discomfort. He held his side once he was fully up.

"Get your ass back in that bed NOW!" Debra roared at him as she came in with Jack following behind her. "Screw.....that. I got.....work to do." He stated as he pulled himself off the bed. Almost immediately after his toes touched the ground he began to tumble, struggling to get himself up right. "God damn it what did I just!? You need rest!" Debra growled. "Cue ball get him back in bed!" She ordered at Jack. Jack brushed past her, and helped Trevor up, and placed him back in bed. Trevor tried to push him away but he was too weak.

"Now you stay right there and rest! I will tie you to the bed if I have to!" She growled at him. "And if anyone of you let's him set so much as a pinky toe on the ground, I will use your intestines to do so!" She stated as she pointed her index finger at them all, and then left to give him some rest. "Alright help out this bed before she gets back. I can't just lay around all day, I got things to do. I need to track that guy before the trail gets too cold. I wounded him in our fight."
