She stood there on the porch, looking at the staff before the resteraunt opened. Everone looked picture perfect. The decorators had done an excellent job of making the place look like 3 seperate family dining rooms.
[00BF00code]Now if only we can get some customers to show up. Let's see. Thunder reports having got a scent of them riding arond. I know they are here. Somewhere. Ad in the paper and radio. Made sure my name was used as owner. All I can do now is hope they want to see us again.[/00BF00code]
She turned to the staff and putting on her best smile, addressed them as a group.
[codeFF8000]Well, good morning y'all. It is so nice to see so many young people ready to go to work. Now I want everone to enjoy them selves here. Of course we want the guest to enjoy them selves as well. Now I mat be the owner, but this is my first business, so I have a professional manager to handle the detailed running of things. I do hope everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I won't be able to do that everyday. But this here is a special day. I want you to know you all look lovely. Well that's it. So everyone inside to your places. Please think good thoughts that we have a good opening day.[/codeFF8000]
With that she ushered the staff inside and made sure everyone was in their places. A quick check of the dining rooms and kitchen area.
[code00BF00]Yes everthing in order. This should be a good day. [/code00BF00]
Sarah unlocked the front door andd looked out on the brisk, bright morning. Within half an hour the first of the guest started to arrive. In her best old school hostess manner she greeted each of them personally and escorted them to there dining room. Within a hour and a half the three rooms were full and there were people sitting in the "parlor" waiting area. The food smelled wonderfl
[code00BF00] Now if only I could eat more than a few bites at a time. The cooks have done an excellent job with the old recipes. Damn it though! Thunder where are you? I hope being late means you have some word on the kids.[/code00BF00]
A few minuets later she heard the unmistakable rumbling of Wendigo, Thunder's big, custom Harley. With a mischievious smile on her face and a definate wiggle in her walk, she headed around back to the employee's parking area.
