Setting

It's a lovely day the sun is shining and the butter-flies are spreading their butterie goodness to all the flowers they land on. The Queen's guard's have just passed by on their weekly patrol so all the creatures are crawling out of hiding. The environment is deep inside a dark wood, there are sun spots shining down through the almost dead trees. An ominous breeze flows through the air, something big is about to happen.....but what?


Vixen

Vixen appears on a branch, her tail flicking irritably, "Wake up! we almost missed tea time thanks to those over grown potatoes!". She hated missing tea time, it always threw off her day when it was interrupted. Vixen disappeared and reappeared on the ground floor, then sat cross legged hovering just a few feet off the ground. "MEH! I SAID TEA!!!" she yelled leaning backward so her voice would have more force.

Red Queen

She fluffed up her hair, blinking her eyes gently as she woke up in a ray of sunlight that was streaming through her bedroom. Where she lay, it was upon a magnificent red four-posted bed, with gentle covers and streamers that spread all through it - almost out of a fairytale.

The Queen sighed as she pushed herself to sit up in the bed, stretching her arms over her head, and yawned loudly. The room was empty, surprisingly - had her servants not woken up yet?

"Where is my servant?" she called out to the room, expecting faces to appear. When none did, she called again, except this was much louder; she screamed, and heard her voice echo a few doors down. Immediately two faces appeared, and started pulling back the streamers on the bed, offering a hand to help her out to stand.

The Queen giggled softly as she stepped out, wearing her underclothes from the previous night, and sighed once more.

"Fetch my the dress."

"W-which one, madame?" asked one of the servants, timidly, and she seemed to be shaking as she opened the door to her closet - as if touching the wrong dress would loose her her head.

"The dress. Get it. I feel like today's going to be a special day."

As she lifted her arms, to suit the dress's flow over her ivory skin, she glanced out over her balcony - and viewed Wonderland. Herland, she sometimes called it. Her mother's land as well. And it was nobody's but theirs.

Elliot crawled out of his hiding spot, and dusted off his ears. "Darn Guards." He'd grumble before making his way to his small table. Of course it was of Illusions. He'd sniff while looking around, his white ears alert and twitching. Stopping his illusion hearing a loud voice, he'd walk to where he heard it. "Oh... it's you." He'd say simply looking at the cat. "Kitty want some milk?" He'd ask conjuring up a bottle of it, humor written across his features. Waving the illusion away he'd cackle, "Nevertheless, I do say, it's tea time... shall we go see the hatter?" His aqua blue eyes would gaze into hers his ears drooping to the side.

"THOSE DAMN GUARDS! I SWEAR IF THEY EVER SHOW THEIR FACES HERE AGAIN I'LL....." Hatter growled angrly the tips of her hair turning a bright red.
"HATTER!" Tweedle Dee shouted and Luna froze in place. A few moments later her hair turned back to blues and her eyes changed from black to mixed matched yellow and green.
"Did i do it again?" She asked and the twins nodded. Hatter sighed before taking her seat at the head of the table. She smoothed out her white dress and fixed her hair pausing at the top of her head.
"Wheres my ha......" she began but was cut off as Tweedle Dum passed it to her.
"It fell off when you had your.......mad hatter moment" Dum said smiling down at her. Luna took her hat from the boy and fixed it back at the top of her head.
"Much better thank you" Hatter said polietly as her pocket watch chimed.
"Its time for tea? Already? Where is everyone?" Luna asked looking around.
" we dont know Hatter maybe they were taken by the guards this time" Dee said weakly as Hatter's smile turned grim.
"No Vixen would somehow inform me if that ever happened" Hatter said cooly. What can she say she famous for her mood swings.
"Hatter i have this.....feeling" the twins said in unision and Luna nodded in agreement.
"Yes i have it to something is going to happen today, something good yet different and when the time comes i will see what it is with the looking glass" Hatter said calmly. Like magic the table was ready like it always was at this time. The tea pots full, cups and saucers put in place and trays full of cakes and pastries placed in the center.
The only thing is....today an extra set was placed at the every end of the table.
"It seems that we are going to have another join us boys" Hatter smiled. Let the madness begin.

Dormouse

The Dormouse ran wildly through the forest, his tail shaking, looking over his shoulder constantly to watch who was chasing him. When he had passed by the castle, it seemed he had attracted a few of the Queen's guard, and was now running through the fores trying to avoid them.

"Is there anyone there at all?!" he squeaked miserably, feeling his legs begin to tire out.

Jacob laughed silently to himself, oh how much fun it was to scare the little mouseling.
As quick as a flash he ran after Doormouse, scooping him up in his hand's.
"Hey there mouseling, scared?" Jacob laughed as he through Doormouse up in the air and caught him by his tail.
"You know we are going to be late for tea if you dont hurry, and we all know how Hatter gets if we are late she'll probably feed you to Cheshire" Jacob grinned evilly as he took off again, running fluidly threw the forest. He still had Doormouse's tail between his finger's as he made his way to Hatter's.

Blake yawned in boredom as he made his way to Hatter's. The guards have really been hard at it lately now doing nightly check's instead of weekly. His black ears twitched as he picked up a sound and he almost smiled at who the voices were coming from. Changing his course slightly he walked until he entered a clearing.
"Hey Vixen, March" Blake said dryly.
"you know Hatter's probably going to have our head's right? We are late after all" Blake grinned slightly and continued on his way to tea.

Dormouse

The Dormouse was closer than he had ever been to falling down when he was picked up. He looked to who was saving him, almost expecting to smile, until he saw that the white rabbit was holding him. He frowned, and squeaked, curling up into a little ball as he was held by his tail.

"Let go, let go, I do say - let go!" he cried, shivering. "Wherever that cat is, I don't want to be there! You can't take me to tea today, you can't!"

"Kitty want some milk?" Elliot smiled coyly at Vixen, "Don't tempt me with milk! I haven't eaten anything all day!" she playfully pouted patting her belly. With that the two headed towards the mad Hatter dwelling, and fortunately met up with Blake "Hey Vixen, March" he said.

Vixen perked her ears and her long tail swished back and forth, "Greetings Blake," she smiled. "you know Hatter's probably going to have our head's right? We are late after all" he replied. "Here, you can carry it to her!" Vixen said removing her head and handing it to Blake, her unattended body started doing cart wheels down the path. "Oh bother, you think you know your body then it goes and abandons you." she pouted again. Suddenly a devious grin appeared on her face, "I think someone is talking about me....the doormouse maybe? Oh how i love him! he is so squeamish!" she gushed.

Elliot grinned as he heard Blake. "Howde doo?!" He'd chuckle before walking down the path. "Hatter has my head? Hmm...I wonder how rabbit decor looks around the tea table?" He'd twitch his nose and cackle before continuing walking down the path his feet had journeyed so many times before. Wonderland looked almost peaceful today...his aqua eyes scanned the areas, making sure there was no dangers around.

Pheremones wafted through the air...his of course. I smell amazing... a bit mad..but amazing. He'd casually think to himself as he started whistling a mad little song. The breeze in the air blew his hair back making his head shake a bit. Smiling he'd start his illusion that there was no wind. No wind at all. How he hated wind... the cursed thing always ruined his hair.

"Be nice to doormouse Vixen... he's our friend... a tasty friend to you he may be to others... he's a fun little play thing." Another chuckle as he shoved his hands in his pockets. Appearing the tea table he'd cackle and clap.

"Oh hatter, my old dear friend... how mad are we today?!" He'd exclaim happily skipping next to the hatter herself. "Hair looks mad as always." He'd pause and think. He loved that word. "Mad mad mad.... we're all mad... lets be mad together!" He'd sing happily before looking back at the others.

Dormouse

He looked around himself, until he saw Vixen, and froze. Immediately he curled farther into his barreled form, until he started biting at Jacob's hands. Dormouse hoped that the rabbit would let him fall, and started chewing harder.

"Let me go, let me go!" he squealed, digging in with his teeth. "I won't have it, I won't be bit, I won't be a snack for a headless cat!"

Hatter plopped down in her chair, grumbling to herself.
"Your all late" she hissed quielty. No thing to be careful about, if you have a loud Hatter your ok, but if she's quiet.....be careful. Using her control she moved Vixen's head to her lap in ease and stroked the cat's head.
"It seems you are without a body my friend what are we to do about this?" Hatter asked coldly. Just then Jacob and Doormouse arrived and a small smile graced her lip's. Then something snapped in her brain and her eye's turned to that of mirror's, everything else going completely white.

"Come now hurry, if we dont find the Hatter's table the queen will have our heads" A red ace hissed at his cousin the black spade.
"Or the Hatter will! either way we loose our heads" the spade cried out. In some way he feared the creature of this forest more then he did the queen, especially the Hatter for she had already killed so many of his card folk.
"i swear you are going mad like the rest of them" the ace growled. Hatter could see they were close to her table and her friend's.

Once the vision was over Hatter's eye's went pitch black along with her hair with the tip's of her long hair turning blood red. She could hear the guards already and she reached behind her chair and grabbed her scythe.
"Why is a raven like a writing desk?" she questioned, a twisted smile appearing on her face and she stroked Cheshire's head once more and gave her back to Blake.
"I really hate it when people are late, i hate it even more when i am interrupted tho" she growled as the guard's entered the clearing. They looked up and their faces went pale and dread filled their eyes.
"I TOLD YOU!!" the spade shouted and took off as the Ace stood there in horror.
"Boo!" Hatter said and the Ace screamed before he also took off running. Hatter started to laughed loudly and her feature's to normal once again.
"That was fun...that....that made me feel better" she giggled "Boys go get them we cant have them telling the queen where we are" Hatter commanded and the twin's nodded before taking off after the card's. She took Doormouse from Jacob then put him in an empty tea pot and placed it on her lap them placed her scythe where it once was.
"Time for tea" she smiled.

The Red Queen

She started twirling around her ballroom, her long red gown flowing behind her, as she threw her hands above her heads in her fluid motion. The Queen dipped in falls and rises as she moved across the hearts on the floor, and watched the twirl of her gown as it fought the air to keep up with her legs.

She stopped moving at that point, leaning forward and keeping her hands on her knees, her thoughts turning to the business of the day as she moved towards the throne in her ballroom - and her crown.

Where were the guards she sent out earlier? Certainly they would have been here sooner than then. If they were any later, she'd... No, she had already decided, they had lost their heads the moment they come back.

The Queen frowned, putting her crown on her head, and toying with the red heart diamonds on the spikes. It's weird... It's been so long since I've seen my King. Where is he? And what's stopping him?


Dormouse

He started biting at the Hatter's hand as she put him in the pot, and once he was stuck in there, he sighed, relaxing against the ceramic wall. It certainly wasn't the comfiest place to be, but it wasn't the worst; he'd just wait until it was over.

Jacob laughed at Hatter's behavior but slightly paled when she spoke so quietly. We had all been through the 'Mad Hatter incident' and it wasn't something he wanted to live through again.....if he did live through it that is.
Jacob tensed slightly when he saw her eye's look like mirror's, her knew she was having a vision but it still worried him. But what worried him more was when she went black and revealed her scythe.
When ever she shows that thing he wants to dig himself a hole and hide in it.
He relaxed again though when she started to laugh after she scared away the guards. Damn Queen just wont stop.
After she took Doormouse from him Jacob seated himself at the table.
"Sorry we're late.....you know me i hate being late but i couldnt help it this time i had to teased that little cheese ball" Jacob grinned

Blake rolled his eye's at Jacob. What an immature block head. Blake placed Vixen's head in her spot then sat down by his cousin, even sitting down Blake towered over everyone else.
He will admit he started to worry when Hatter went black but Blake wasn't one to show his emotion's.
Some called him heart-less, he called himself cold.
He scanned the table until his eye's landed on a big piece of carrot cake. He's a big guy he eats alot.
Blake reached for it but Jacob was faster and he swiped it away from Blake.
"Give me the damn cake now before i hurt you" Blake growled, scowling at his cousin.
"Nah, its carrot my favorite" Jacob grinned evilly.
Blake looked away boredly and placed his hand beside his cousin, holding it up.
"i aint giving it to you" Jacob challenged and Blake smirked
"I know" he simply said before he sent a shock up Jacob's arm making him drop the cake which landed right in Blake's hand.
"HEY!" Jacob hissed but Blake ignored him and started eating the cake.

"Did you get him?" Dee asked and Dum returned from hunting down the ace.
"yep he's good as gone, Luna will be happy with us" Dum smiled pleased that he would make Hatter happy.
"Ya the spade is gone to, good thing Hatter let us deal with them instead of herself it would have been much worse for them if she had done her thing" Dee laughed smiling brightly.
"I agree" Dum agreed and they made their way back to the table.

Vixen looked around annoyed that her head was being passed around, "I want to eat!" she complained looking at all her friends eating. Suddenly her body came running over it was covered in blood, "What have you been up to now?" Vixen groaned reattaching to her body.

Memories flooded through her, it seems her body had ran into some other guards. "What fun!" she giggled looking at the Hatter she bowed her head. "I must apologizes on behalf of my bodies tardiness, it seems it was held up by some aggressive Ace's. It is lovely to see you again my friend." she smiled sitting down beside her, grabbing a tea pot.

"Peek-a-boo!" she smiled showing her bright fangs to the door mouse, "How are you feeling, my favorite little appetizer." Vixen reached in petting his head. She smiled looking down at him squrim.

"Vix dont torture the poor thing you of all of us know he doesn't like you the most out of all of us" Hatter smiled taking back the tea pot.
"It is good to see you to......have you felt it?" Hatter asked the last part quietly so only Vixen could here it. Right then the twins reappeared and took their places standing beside Hatter's chair. They were kinda like her body guards even if she was stronger then them.
"We have rid the area of guard's mam, we found a few more after those 2 and Cheshire's body dealt with some" Dum informed and Hatter nodded.
"Thank you boys" Hatter picked up a saucers and tea-cup, sipping the sweet chai tea. The boys stood back slightly and grinned at one another as an evil plan popped in their heads. Dum pointed to Vixen's tail and Dee nodded taking a pair of sharp scissor's out of his back pocket. Slowly they crept around so Cheshire couldnt see and grabbed her tail before cutting off the tip.

The boys laughed and hid behind Hatter's chair as they waited for Vixen's reaction. Hatter laughed to.
"Boys will be boys" she giggled.

Vixen tensed as her tail was cut, she growled, her eyes turned a blackish blue. "Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum used to have so much fun then one day the sky turned grey. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum had no more fun and needed to RUN!" she growled. All knew that when a Cheshire spoke in rhyme that nothing good would come from it. Before the boys had a chance to run, Vixen grabbed both by the hands. She pulled off both of their hands, "Once my tail re-grows so shall your hands." her ears were pulled back in extreme irritation.

A chershire's pride came from their tails, you could do anything you wanted to them but once you touched the tail that's when you've gone to far. She put the hands inside her pack, then sat back down "That might be the case but they would be better as toads..Don't you think?" she smiled back at her old friend. Vixen pulled her tail close running her hand through her fur, pouting. "And here I was all excited because i thought something fun would happen. All I've had is my body run off without me, then I find out my dear mouse friend doesn't enjoy my company, now the runts are messing with my tail...Oh well there's always after tea!"

Dormouse

The Dormouse scurried farther into the pot, quivering, and his bell ringing through the spout of the lid.

"Please, Hatter let me out! Don't feed me to Vixen, just let me go!"

He shivered, imagining the last time he was dangled above the cat's teeth.

"Sweet mouse now why would i feed you to Cheshire?" Hatter asked, confused. Sure there had been that time but......she wouldnt do it again.
"Here hush up and eat" Hatter said opening the lid and put a half of a cheese danish into it so it wouldnt squish him. She didnt put the lid back on but she did place the tea-pot on the other side of the table away from Vixen.

Dormouse

He didn't reply. Mostly because he was too busy eating his danish, rolling it on top of him so that he could comfortably lie down and eat. How this had contented him, he didn't know; most likely it was the fact that it had been more than long enough since he had eaten.

Once he was finished - which didn't take long - he dared to poke his head out of the pot, and look around at the table.
