N i c k n a m e ? You can call me Queen, Your Highness, or Majesty.

A g e ? Eighteen

R o l e ? Queen of Hearts

H e i g h t ? I am six feet! Okay, maybe 5'9". Okay, maybe 5'5". Or 5'2". But I don't need physical height to tower over everyone else!

W e i g h t ? Ninety-five pounds exactly. Why do you ask?

E t h n i c i t y ? Polish, clearly

T a t t o o s / S c a r s ? Well, I have a tattoo of a heart beneath my right eye, as well as a few scars on my back.

C r u s h ? Me? A crush? Ha! The very thought! People have crushes on me, darling, not the other way around!

P e r s o n a l i t y ?
Julianna is most certainly what one would describe as a megalomaniac, someone who is borderline obsessed with themselves. She is brimming with narcissism that would rival even that of the man of myth whom the personality trait was named for. In her eyes, she is the epitome of excellence, and there is no reason why everyone else should not readily agree with what she says. After all, who wouldn't give their left arm to serve someone who is so fabulous and glorious as she? Julianna has come to the conclusion that it only makes sense for her to be the queen, and for everyone to serve her, and thus started the Garden Club when she first came to this school, admitted by her parents after a conference with her old teachers made it clear that this was the only place which suited her. . .special personality. The young woman is very vain as well, and is easily flattered with compliments about her appearance or her talents, of which there are a few. However, despite being easily flattered, she is not necessarily easily tricked by the compliments, for the young woman's personality is more than simply arrogance and vanity- she is not a two-dimensional character, after all.

Besides her narcissistic persona, Julianna is actually incredibly clever- everyone who attends this 'school' is, after all, a genius in their own right. The young woman is capable of learning things immediately, with a photographic memory and the capability to actually apply what she knows. One needs more than simple violence and confidence to rule, she knows, and therefore the young woman is constantly on a pursuit to sharpen her mind and her skills otherwise. When she isn't bossing people around or beating people up, Julianna can actually be found reading, though she flips through the book so quickly that it may appear to an outsider that she is actually just glancing at a single word on a page. She can remember everything that she reads, and simply adores the school's library with a passion, though she prefers to read outdoors. When asked about her avid reading habit, she simply responds with a quip about a good queen knowing everything there is to know about everything, before ordering the person to fetch her some tea. Julianna is a calculating person who is adept at reasoning, although at the same time seems to lack common sense. She is very clever verbally, able to match the best of them with her argumentative skills and biting remarks.

The self-proclaimed queen is also a very possessive type of person, the sort who will claim something as hers, and then attack anyone who tries to take it away from her. There is a reason why no one dares enter the gardens unless they have her permission or are a member of the club, and it isn't because she asks nicely to not be disturbed. She is a very jealous young woman, and isn't exactly the most morally-strong when it comes to getting and keeping what she wants. However, she is also very protective of those that she is close to, even though she may insult them and boss them about. Her brother, Sebastian, is a perfect example of her protective nature. She may belittle him constantly, but should she even hear a rumor of someone else walking over her brother, that person will be on their way to the hospital within the hour, and usually by her own hand. Though the queen will send the headswoman out for some things, there are many situations in which she enjoys the satisfaction of getting things done herself. She is a very independent person, after all, and believes that a true queen must be on the battlefield with her subjects.

D a n g e r L e v e l ?
8- One may expect that, given her reputation as an arrogant and violent young woman who pummels anyone in her way, the queen would be a nine or a ten on the level of danger. And perhaps she is, to those who have angered her or done her wrong in some way. However, it is really quite a simple task to keep her from attacking you. One simply must do as she says, and not harm those she has claimed as her own. After that, there isn't much else to be done.

A s p i r a t i o n s ? To rule the world, of course! That's all I ever wanted.

D o m i n a n t E m o t i o n ? Desire

Q u i r k s / O d d i t i e s ? I do have an obsession with roses, red specifically, and can often be seen pruning them. Of course, some people seem to find my insistence that I be addressed as Queen or Your Highness odd, but they are simply fools. I have the tendency to read rather quickly, I suppose, and absolutely have to have my tea at 11am and 3pm every day, on the dot.

S e x u a l i t y ?
Sapiosexual, darling- it's you, not your gender.

A v e r a g e C l o t h i n g ?
I like to wear vintage clothing, usually dresses and skits if possible. I always wear heels, because it makes me taller, and I really like headbands and hats. Generally I dress in red, my favorite color, or some variation of it.

K e e p s a k e s / S p e c i a l I t e m s ? Keepsakes? I suppose I do have a deck of cards on my at all times, from childhood, that I never allow anyone to touch. Ever. The cards have things written on them that are private- they were like a diary to me when I was a child.

B i o ?
The Heart family was a very wealthy one, coming from a long line of Oil Tycoons and, later in the line, Entertainment Giants. Because of this, Julianna was raised in an environment where everything was at her fingertips, she could get most anything she wanted simply by sending out one of the help to get it. Unfortunately, this came with parents who had impossibly high expectations for their children, and would accept nothing less than perfect from the two who would eventually take over the family businesses, being the only of their generation. Throughout elementary school, Julianna reacted to this in a way which was similar to her younger brother- she did everything in her power to please them, a girl with incredibly low self-esteem and little talent for doing things for herself. Every little action was centered around making her parents happy, and for the most part she was ignored by her classmates, the girl who spent all of her time at lessons and working on her academic skills. She took every lesson her parents even hinted at hoping she would end up good at, from the violin to karate to the dreaded cotillion. She was too caught up in her parents to even notice that the same thing was happening to her little brother, too busy focusing on making them accept her. The pressure was far more than should have been placed on a young child, and during her sixth grade year, the young woman suddenly snapped. She went through a drastic personality change, suddenly deciding that she didn't have to live for her parents expectations- that she was absolutely fantastic the way she was. It would have been fine enough if self-confidence had been what she earned, but you don't suddenly gain self confidence like that. Instead, she lost it, and became the megalomaniac that runs the Garden Club today. She saw that other children didn't go through what she did, and saw herself as better for it.

After the snap of sorts, she began using all of her fighting classes in ways which weren't seen as particularly. . .safe. If someone refused to do as she told them, the girl wouldn't hesitate to attack. If someone bullied her brother other than herself, they would end up in the hospital. By eighth grade, her parents had had enough of this wild child, who was ruining the family reputation. And so, they shipped her off to Wonderland Academy, where Julianna fit in rather perfectly. The next year, her brother joined as well, and she forced him to be part of the Garden Club.

O n e G r e a t e st F e a r ?
Fear? Me? I HAVE NONE! In actuality, Julianna's greatest fear is probably to be ignored and helpless again, as she was when she was very young. It made her feel as though she would fade away, and that no one would even care.

O n e G r e a t e s t S e c r e t ?
Well, there was that one time when I "accidentally" killed the cat. Or when I used to wear glasses, bleh. Julianna's secret is probably her hidden insecurities, her fear of what she once was.

Contrary to Tarrant's apparent confidence that no one of the Garden Club would be up and about so early, one particular young woman with blond hair and a black heart beneath her right eye sits at a rather fancy setup in the exact center of the extensive area. It is composed of three different garden tables, iron-wrought and quite beautifully designed, with a pattern of roses on the top of each one. There are two chairs at each table to match, bearing the same pattern, and all are identical with the exception of the one at which the young woman sits. That table has a crystal vase with flowers that are always freshly picked in it, as well as a white lace tablecloth that is always there by the time she arrives in the morning, and folded and gone after she has left. The woman is alone for only one reason, and that would be the fact that she does enjoy reading quietly in the morning- perhaps the only thing that she ever does quietly, given her outgoing personality and tendency to attract attention. Everything in the way that she holds herself screams of aristocracy, posture that is picture-perfect and a slight angling of her body as though faced towards an invisible camera of sorts. Perhaps, were she always so silent and still, the young woman would be more admired and liked than she actually is. The fact is, however, that she is only like this for perhaps one hour each day, when in private, and afterwards has a personality which most find to be just slightly intimidating. The book in her hand is thick, certainly, and a glance at the cover would identify it as Les Miserables, a dour but beloved piece of literature. The pages flip quickly by the slight movement of her manicured thumb, for the young woman is a rather fast-paced reader, probably the most visible sign of the genius which allowed her to be a part of this school for the insane but brilliant.

A porcelain plate sits in front of her, white with red cardinals for design, but it holds only the crumbs of what was once a freshly made danish. Next to it sits an empty cup with a matching design, although slightly worn so that the cardinals have more of a pinkish hue. These items make it clear that the young woman had eaten her breakfast under the sun of the morning, presumably whilst reading the novel in front of her. Just before she marks her page to continue reading tomorrow, Julianna hears the shudder of leaves as someone makes contact with one of the trees of the garden. Instantly her eyes go up and she places the book down, smoothing down her vintage blue dress in a way befitting of royalty before stalking off, not an easy feat in her heels, to find the source of the noise. "Who is there? Stayne? Sebastian? A new student hear to pledge their loyalty?" she calls out, turning a corner to find the Hatter awkwardly trying to climb up one of her trees. Instantly the queen's eyes narrow, before she places her hand just under her chin and breaks out into smug laughter.

"What are you doing here, you fool? Trying to climb a tree? Ha! You can't even do that, useless peasant!" She declares triumphantly, laughter fading into that omnipresent smirk of arrogance which she seems to adore. "No one is allowed on my territory without permission. Surrender now."

Andrew mulled over the fact he was waiting for something, he could feel it, and either he was just insane or he was correct, normally he was both. He twiddled his thumbs, looking straight ahead, as if the answer to his questions would simply fall right in front of him. A long stream of smoke snaked past his lips alongside a sigh. Just as he was about to give up on 'waiting' and stand to go sulk off to some high place, Chelle sat right next to him of the bench he was posted at, greeting him with his nickname. To be honest, he never could quite remember why he'd begun to be called caterpillar, but he heard stories of the result of his drunken misadventures.

With a puff of smoke escaping his lips, Andrew gave a slight smirk. "Something is upon us, it's presence resonates in my very bones." he said vaguely, still staring off straight ahead. "And hello. It must have been you I was waiting for this whole time." He caught movement out of the corner of his eye, finding a couple of people in a tree by the gardening club. Standing without a word, he abandoned his place at the bench, "Investigation is key." he muttered, the pipe bouncing on his lips as he spoke, walking towards the scene, assuming Chelle would follow.

As he approached he realized there were more people than anticipated; Marchy, Mousie, Hatter, Ana, and Julianna. Andrew knew all their names just from overhearing conversations, what he wasn't quite sure of was if they knew him. He looked to Julianna, raising an eyebrow slightly, "Such a shame, that followers leave a leader like a leaf leaves a tree." he stated with a smirk and smoke unintentionally blowing in her direction every other word, referring to the fact he saw none of her club members with her. Slowly Andrew sunk to the ground, crossing his legs as he refilled his pipe, lighting once again. With a long inhale, smoke leaked from his lips and he gazed up at everyone, leaning back slightly.

"Meow, baby."

Chelle walked alongside Andrew, raising an eyebrow at his comment about waiting. She vaguely wondered why she followed him, but shrugged it off as they approached the small, yet large group of people. She lounged on the ground beside her friend, lying down onto the soft grass. She closed her eyes, sighing as she relaxed.

"'Twas brilig, and the slithy toves," she singsonged to herself, her voice dropping into a lulling hum. She really did have a beautiful voice- it had a kind of husky whisper behind it, the type of voice that sang ballads and lullabies. "Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogroves, and the mome raths outgrabe." Her voice dropped back into a hum, mimicking the melody she had sung.

"How're you enjoying the game, Andrew?" She chuckled, smirking. "This battle of sorts between the clubs. Interesting, no?" She was, of course, referring to Juliana's yells directed at the Hatter. She opened an eye, glancing up at Andrew.

Giving one last look at Ana in the tree, Marchy's eye twitched then he turned to see a familiar face or two. "Why, 'ello Mr. Cat-ee-pillor." Marchy said with a big cheeky smile, eyes wide, and twitching and ticking to his ever excitement. He heard what Mr. Cat-ee-pillor said, but didn't understand a thing. He watched as Hatta jumped down in front of Queen De Hearts and Marchy almost fell over laughing. Hatta was probably one of Marchy's favorite people in Wonderland for his happiness. Falling down clumsily, Marchy was on the ground like Mr. Cat-ee-pillor and Chess. "Oh, and a merry hello to you, Chessie." Marchy said, cheeky smile still on his face with wide eyes.

Then Marchy heard Chess starting to sing. His head tilted slightly, eye slightly twitching. Then, for the first time in awhile, he actually calmed down. Laying on his back on the ground with a small, normal smile on his face and eyes not so wide watching the white clouds passing through the blue sky. Someone singing was one of the only things to make Marchy this calm, well that and a half cup of tea with butter of course. Huhm…the tic's have stopped. On that note, once everyone was back to talking and-or arguing, Marchy's leg did the worst tic he had ever experienced, looking as if his leg was having a slight seizure of its own.

At that, Marchy shot off the ground like an excited child. His cheeky smile was back with the return of his wide eyes. "I've got an excellent idea, why don't we all sit down for a spot of tea?" One of the things Marchy almost always brings up in almost every conversation is tea. Why? Nobody knows. It's just one of the many things he seems to be obsessed with, that, his pocket watch, half cups of tea, and of course a stick of butter. Every tea party on whomever's un-birthday it's to be, Marchy will pull out his old pocket watch. One of the hands on the old, broken watch would move, like the tic a dead animal will have before its dies. Marchy call the thing a MAD WATCH! and take a whole stick of butter and a small mallet, smashing the butter on the poor watch then dipping in into a cup of tea. According to Marchy, Everything mad need their daily tea or you shall become mad as a march hair.

Marchy than ran inside the school, not waiting for anyone to comment on his statement of having a cup of tea for the lot of them. He went straight to where they kept the tea cups and tea, grabbing a cup for everyone, plus a few extra, and the kettle that had already been making fresh tea. As he carried everything in his arms, he walked past the new girl, the Tweedles, and Sky. "We're all having a spot of tea, if you would like to join us after you've gotten done what you've got to get done." Marchy said, a wide cheeky smile on his face and wide eyes. His tic seemed to be gone for the time being, so in all he looked like a child mostly. A very hyper skatterbrained child. Without even a mere hello or goodbye, Marchy was back outside by the others handing everyone a tea cup and with fresh tea, the tea was in the cup of course. He then sat himself down on the ground with crossed legs. The old pocket watch sitting on his thigh and a stick of better on a small saucer. He had the kettle, the creamer, and the sugar sitting on a silver tray i front of him and he sat there, drinking his tea, ticking slightly, and humming "Twinkle twinkle little star." in his head, changing the words of course.

"Meow, baby."

-

Chelle laughed at Andrew's statement, not surprised at how true it was. "'Deliciously vicious'?" She chuckled, grinning. "That almost rhymed," she singsonged. She calmly inhaled the smoke breathed in her direction- she was used to it by now, and it had stopped affecting her a while ago.

She paused for a second, observing the group before the Hare walked off, mentioning something about tea before running off. "I'll have to visit the tea room sometime today, I assume," she murmured. She had quite a liking for the stuff; not quite as obsessed as the Tea Club was, but she still visited the club often for free refreshments.

"Ah, they aren't the only ones who're crazy, my friend," she smirked, "we all know why we're here." Her teeth spread into an all-too-familiar grin, laughing at the statement as if she had made some crude joke. Yet, to her, it was- life was all one big show for her, a long-running joke played out for her and those who viewed it the same way. It was her own defense mechanism, her way of shielding herself from being too attached to anyone. Andrew was that exception, of course- someone she viewed as quite the oddity, seeing how their friendship had just...happened. She shook her head, trying to shoo the abstract thoughts from her mind.

"Are we skipping school today, Andrew?" She murmured, raising an eyebrow. They did this regularly, taking a day or two to themselves every week or so. Chelle enjoyed it very much- being away from the doting staff who reminded her of her parents, a wound she didn't want reopened very soon.

Julianna rolls her eyes at the Hatter's comment about it being his unbirthday- she may be just as insane as the rest of them, but it is in an entirely different way. "Really, Hatty, do you think anyone cares about the unbirthday of a worm like you? HA! No, no, no. It is simply quite dull to think of small fry like you, let alone every single unbirthday," she spits at him pompously, mirroring his posture by half when she places one hand against a hip, as though to make some sort of point about how she can make such a pose far better than he can. She has the tendency to make everything into a competition, being obsessed with winning and triumph as she is, no matter how trivial the thing may be. When the young man runs his fingers through mouse-brown hair, Julianna only smirks further, mentally comparing his drab color to her own lovely blonde, a shade which she quite adores on herself. Of course, everything looks good on me. "It is always a lovely day in the garden, of course!" she responds enthusiastically, gloating still in her voice as though she takes credit for that fact. Still, her face soon returns back to a stern look as she is about to order the Hatter to leave, only to be interrupted by the voice of one drug-addicted caterpillar, as well known as Cheshire for riddles and vague sarcasm. "Such a shame, the followers leave a leader like a leaf leaves a tree," he says smugly, clearly directing it towards Julianna, who only grins at him, not even bothering to be angry because she knows how ridiculous his statement is.

"Ha! Were I to desire it, they would all be here faster than you can say Hookah! Don't lump me with drugged peasants such as yourself, Mr. Pillar," she tosses back, calling him Mr. Pillar in a mocking way. Then, in a way which is characteristically random, Marchy seems to pop out of thin air to greet the Hatter and Pillar, though he neglects to say anything to Julianna, which makes the self-proclaimed queen frown deeply. "All of you, get out of my garden this instance! I don't have patience for this, and being around you all is sure to infect my brain with your sheer stupidity," she orders just as Marchy returns with his tea set. Him setting up his tea is likely the last straw, as the young woman marches over to him, picks up the platter so that all of the things which were once on it spill off, and smacks him over the head with it- using enough force to knock out the average person. Of course, no one here is exactly average. Just as she does so, one of her underlings, who has the same first name as that goody-two-shoes blue-eyed girl who everyone calls the White Queen, shows up and confirms that she has taken care of some people that Julianna had mentioned.

Dropping the pan, Julianna smiles fondly at Anastasia, "Ah, thank you Ana. If only everyone at this school were as good as you and Stayne."

It all started by Tarrant trying to climb one of the garden club's trees. Sebastian watched as the events unfolded. After a while, Cat, Ana, Julianna, March, the other Ana, and Caterpillar were there too. He stopped watching once he saw March handing out tea cups to everyone. That is interesting...I think I'll go to the green house to be safe.

Sebastian pushed his thoughts away. He finished spraying the flower bed of red lilies that hung outside his window. He made sure the dirt of the brown flower bed was moist. Then he placed the spray bottle on the window still's left corner.

Next Sebastian closed the window. He lowered and closed the dark leaf green blinds. He then shut the dark blue curtains that decorated the window. Sebastian had always been an earlier riser. He never wanted to be late for anything. If he was late, he would disappoint someone and he didn't want to do that. Sebastian woke with the sun practically everyday.

He ran his fingers through his semi damp hair. His eyes quickly scanned his room. Everything was in place and cleaned. Today he was dressed in a simple dark blue dress shirt with light brown buttons, slightly tight light brown jeans, light brown dress shoes, and a white bow tie which he kept untied around his neck. Maybe he would tie it into a bow later on in the day.

Sebastian slid his light brown knapsack onto his back. He grabbed his folded handkerchief from on top of his pillow and slid it into the dress shirt’s pocket. He snapped the button on the pocket. He didn't want to risk losing the handkerchief. Oddly enough, it was special to him.

Before Sebastian left his room, he made sure he had everything he needed. He took a deep breath and put a smile on his face. Then Sebastian walked out of his room and closed the door behind him. The door would lock itself automatically. He took in his surroundings very carefully. Once he was near the exit, he began to twirl a lock of his hair. Once outside, he pondered if he should head towards the garden or not. Maybe if he was quiet he would be able to sneak by without being noticed. Sebastian hummed a very soft tune. He had begun to walk towards the green house.

((NOTE: I got lost on who all was at the tea party, so I just tagged everyone XD))

Valerie smiled over at Skyler. "I like vanilla, too. And strawberry," she said, casting a grin in Harry's direction. "Actually, I just like sweets in general. It always astounded my friends how many sweet things I could eat without ending up fat and with cavities. It's just genes, I guess," she shrugged. On impulse, she reached over and grabbed Skyler's arm, then Harry's, and slid her arms through theirs, standing between them.

"I swear I don't bite, so you don't have to be so afraid to get near me. Besides, it's not like I'm chock-full of different diseases," she rolled her eyes as they turned the corner, her keen memory allowing her to remember precisely where they needed to go to reach the Garden.

She tossed a glance at Harry and smiled, remembering his earlier question before she had become distracted. "I don't think you're crazy. You two are just weird, like me," she said with undeniable confidence. She danced out of their arms and ahead of them, throwing her own arms out and twirling in a circle on her toe. "As I always say, embrace your inner weirdness," she laughed, basking in the sunlight she had danced out into, having pushed through the doors to get outside.

She looked over at Skyler and quickly read what he wrote, offering him a smile. "Alright, I guess I'll catch up with you later then," she said with a nod. She then tilted her head back and sighed. "I love the sun, don't you two?" she asked Harry and Henry. "I sure am going to miss it when winter comes around. It's a good thing I love the snow, too," she tacked on thoughtfully.

Turning, Valerie looked ahead of them, and a little ways away from the Academy was what was undoubtedly a green house. "That must be the garden, right?" she asked, already skipping in that direction. Yes, she was weird, but only because she was so happy and said the most random of things, but she wasn't insane. In truth, she was only doing it in an attempt to make Harry and Henry laugh and remain her friends.

She licked her lips. "Hmm, even the thought of tea and sweets is making me parched and hungry, despite the early hour," she said thoughtfully. "Alright, I'm definitely going. Shall we?" she asked, smiling over her shoulder at them. Without really waiting for an answer, she took off in the direction of the garden house, unaware of the insane - and dangerous - people she was about to meet.

She was more then excited to see the garden, for she'd always loved flowers, especially carnations and lilacs, so when she reached the gate enclosing the garden and heard the sound of distant voices, she opened the gate without a second thought and began into the garden.

Valerie's breath caught at the sight of the magnificent garden. Flowers, trees, bushes, anything anyone could imagine, were growing in the garden. lost in her own little world, she didn't realized she had reached the area the tea party was being held at. She snapped from her daydream and silent awe of the garden, freezing in place, her heart jumping into her throat at the sight of the people before her.

They were all obviously insane.

Swallowing her fear and summoning courage she hadn't realized was there, she lifted her hand into the air, just a little, casting a look over her shoulder for the comforting face of someone she knew. She looked back at the people before her.

"Hello," she managed, a bit weakly.

Harry laughed happily when Al-Valerie linked arms with them and skipped down the hall. This was the best day he'd had in a long while. They had made a new friend who didn't think they were crazy and was happy to have an adventure! He giggled excitedly and managed to twirl them around once before continuing in a straight line, just for the fun of it. They reached the doors leading outside then and Harry's heart soared. Valerie dashed ahead and out the doors with them hard on her tail. Harry never stopped smiling and laughed frequently in giddy excitement. She affirmed the fact that she didn't think they were crazy which caused Harry to throw his fists in the air in a sign of complete ecstasy. She liked them! She really liked them! It was rare for Harry to know that someone honestly, truly liked them, Skyler was like that, and now Alice was, too!

Harry twirled around her while she basked in the sun, hyper and very puppyish. He tripped once and sprawled on the warm grass, but only laughed, stood, and brushed himself off. Henry took a moment's control then. Rolling his eyes, he carefully cleaned the grass from his hair. "Sorry about Harry, again, he doesn't get someone who is this accepting very often. I generally don't care one way or the other, but it means the world to him. Thanks, Valerie." He winked softly before a huge grin spread over their face. "Henry!" Harry protested, "Can't take you anywhere!" Henry laughed on the inside and settled down again.

"I love the sun and snow, too! Henry gets grumpy whenever he's outside, though. Too dirty and too much movement." Harry exclaimed, prancing up to her and linking arms again. He liked it, it was fun and he generally wasn't allowed to get too close to people, either for their comfort or his and Henry's own safety. "I don't like rain, though, rain has too many memories. Henry and I are the same there." He shrugged dismissively and carried on with his new friend, behind her now that she began to run ahead. Harry laughed and called for her to wait up, already panting from their shenanigans. Most definitely, this was the best day EVER! Henry agreed for once.

Al-Valerie was far ahead of them and turned a corner as she saw the Garden. Harry wanted to see her face, the Garden made everyone catch their breath the first time they saw it. Henry didn't like the Gardening Club, and to be honest Harry didn't particularly enjoy being around them, too loud, but the Garden was always a treat. For Harry, at least. He skidded around the corner and slid to a stop behind Valerie as she fumbled out a hello. Harry nodded and waved at everyone. "Hey, guys! We heard there was tea! This is Al-Vale--oop, I mean..." they froze for a second before Harry's eyes widened and they jumped in the air, laughing and stammering excitedly, "AL-VAL! It rhymes!! Al-Val! Alvalalvalalval!! See, when we saw her in the hall she was flustered because it's her first day and she said her name was 'Al-Valerie,' and clarified Valerie, but Al-Valerie stuck in my head! Al-Val!!" He laughed and hugged his new friend without really noticing he had and rubbed his hair excitedly. "Sorry, I got excited, how is everyone! Henry is being grumpy today, so he may not be talking much."

Marchy sat there, enjoying his tea, thinking about random little thoughts that run into his mind, when someone picked up his tray with the tea, sugar, and cream all spilling over. "Well, that's not very civil, is it." He said, looking up at who had did it to see non-other than the Queen herself. Marchy sipped his tea as he watched her with a rather confused, frustrated look on his face, his eyes slightly closed from the sun beaming down. Then it hit him! The tray made contact with the side of his head and knocked him over. Marchy, being rather mad as he is, sat up slowly after it, putting his hand to the side of his head. He had a rather blank expression on his face after being hit with a tray without letting out a single solitary cry. Looking on the ground, Marchy saw the saucer that he had the butter in face down on the ground. He picked it up to see the butter all smashed into the grass. "That had been the best butter…" Marchy said he then stood up, still holding the saucer the butter had been on in his hand and had a very angry look on his face with his eye ticking furiously. He then throw the plate as hard as any madly insane person can, which is rather hard at that, right at the Queens head. He missed hitting her head by maybe an inch or two, it flying to the side passed her and breaking into a tree. Marchy then bent down and picked up a tea cup that had also fallen off the tray. "Don't forget your TEA!" He said before throwing the tea cup at the Queens head after missing the first time.

Not even waiting to see if he scored the hit, Marchy bent down and picked up his pocket watch that had fallen off his lap and putting it in his pocket. He gave one last look to the queen them headed over to the tea party table where he saw the Hatta, Mouse-wee, Ana, and the new girl he had…passed earlier. Giving just a mere nod to the bunch, Marchy just sat down and grabbed a cup of tea, ticking every so often.

Chelle witnessed the scene before her- the tea tray swinging down onto the Hare's head, his admittedly comedic retaliation and his heated retreat to the tea room. She resisted the urge to burst into laughter, hypothesizing that it would only aggravate the Queen further. Sitting up, she stretched, watching curiously as quite the interesting trio walked onto the scene- Harry, Henry, and a rather delicate seeming young woman.

She watched Andrew get to his feet and approach their fellow students, wondering momentarily if she should get up and greet them as well, but decided against it. She relaxed back onto the ground, stretching out in the sun's warm rays. She closed her eyes, her lips curling into a relaxed smile.

Opening her eyes for a moment, she caught movement in the corner of her eye. Lifting herself up, she turned towards what had caught her eye. To her surprise, it was Sebastian- she would've thought he had been up by now, but she soon shrugged it off. She contemplated whether or not to go and greet him, and decided: Why not?

She strolled over to him, bowing exaggeratedly when she reached him. "Good morning, Your Highness," she snickered, "how is the King this morning?"

"That it is. . .That it is. ." the Hatter mutters after a burst of laughter which had followed a rather uncharacteristic expression of realization and general displeasure. Julianna watches him trot away absentmindedly, probably muttering some other form of stupidity to himself as he does so. Incompetent fool! Wait- she instinctively stepped to the side to dodge a teacup which was thrown directly at her head, and then ducked away from another one before bursting into arrogant laughter once more, raising one hand to point mockingly at Marchy before shouting, "You couldn't hit me if there were a target on my head!" Of course, by this point the man has already walked away, heading down the path which the Hatter had taken. After a moment, her eyes widen in realization that they had not left her territory, instead just walking further into the garden, probably towards the green house or where she had earlier been reading and enjoying a light breakfast. The fact that they would dare do such a thing makes her fume, curling her hands into fists that dig into her palm and leave crescent-shaped imprints on the slightly calloused skin. Why do they keep staying in my garden! Rotten peasants! Where is Stayne when I need him? She thinks with great irritation, striding after them to threaten them some more in an attempt to erase their presence from her territory. She doesn't go bumbling about in their spots -not that she'd want to, when she has the garden- and yet something about today has given them the idea that they don't have to share that same courtesy with her. The queen stops in front of the tea party, set up in her tea pavilion, and is about to scream at them when she spots an unfamiliar face- a girl with blond hair who is talking to Anastasia (of the chess club, not her Anastasia)'s brother, Skyler. Instantly curious, for she is the sort to be infatuated by the first new thing that she sees, and very rarely does one find a new person in this school for the gifted and insane. Not hesitating, or thinking about the fact that she may be bothering either of them, Julianna strides up to the young woman, previous malice gone as she smiles at her, just as Skyler had walked away.

"Hello, dear. I don't believe I've seen you here before?" she says sweetly, seemingly perfectly insane- if one hadn't seen her smashing a tray over Marchy's head a few moments ago, and then expertly dodging the teacups as though it were a daily occurrence for her. "I'm Julianna Vivaldi Heart, but you can call me Julianna- or Queen."

Harry shuddered at the new arrival's presence. There were only a select few people in this world that Harry didn't like (though he never hated anyone), and Julianna was one of them. She didn't have the right to be as cruel as she was, wouldn't even have a flicker of consideration for anyone but herself, and she seemed to get some sort of kick out of hurting others. With a small, angry grimace on his face carried over from before, they stared her down. "Leave her alone," he mumbled.

Henry rarely had anyone he liked to the point of showing, but he rarely hated. Generally he had an air of apathy about him, but he really did care. Everything just bored him.

Julianna did the same to his nerves as it did to Harry's. Fixing a wide, sacharrine smile over their face, Henry tilted his head innocently and blinked a couple times. "Oh. It seems we are in the presence of royalty!" Sarcasm oozed from his voice as he shook his hands as though nervous. Dropping the facade with a short wink to Valerie he glowered up at her. "Forgive me if I don't grovel at your feet and cower. Leave this one alone or I swear you will never hear the end of it from myself or Harry." Even the thought of Valerie getting hurt churned in their stomachs. The rest of the Gardening Club were perfectly acceptable, but Julianna was not. In any sense. Whatsoever. Reasoning? She aggravated Harry. Anything that aggravated Harry (other than himself) wasn't to be near his brother.

"Meow, baby."

Chelle suppressed a chuckle at the Sebastian's flustered expression as she bowed, a red-faced smile that grew more bashful as she implied he was true royalty. She had picked up this nickname from the White Queen a while back, and delighted in the reactions she witnessed as a result of it.

She raised an eyebrow as he questioned her own morning, briefly searching for a response in her non-linear thoughts. She followed his gaze to the scene she had just left- the contents of the Hare's tea tray spread on the ground, the absolute chaos that spread before them. "It's certainly been an...interesting morning," she snickered, "thanks to your sister and the Hare. Not to mention the one who has...tumbled into the rabbit hole, per se." At her final words, she gestured loosely to Alice, smirking at her uncanny analogy. "Ironic, considering we have a rabbit of our own, no?" She murmured, turning her gaze back to Sebastian.

"I've been meaning to introduce myself to her...but curiosity tends to pose quite a threat to 'cats' such as I," she grinned lopsidedly, giggling softly. Her gaze flickered towards where Andrew stood- blinking curiously as Skyler made his way towards her friend.

Valerie cast several looks between Harry/Henry and Tarrant. The animosity between the two was almost thick enough to cut through. It was obvious, however, that they didn't hate each other; it was merely a repercussion of Tarrant ignoring Henry. She nudged them with her shoulder. "Oh, stop pouting, Harry," she said, her lips twitching a little in amusement. "I'm sure Tarrant," she said, her voice dripping with irritation, "Didn't mean to ignore Henry. Besides, Henry's too amazing of a guy to be ignored," she added on, poking their arm.

She cut off a piece of her chocolate cake and practically purred with delight as the soft, fluffy food dissolved in her mouth, almost like cotton candy only so much better. "This ... Is the most amazing cake I've ever tasted, in my entire life," she said, taking another bite. She had her fork between her lips when a girl appeared, who seemed only a bit older then she. She couldn't utter a word around her cake. Not that she would have been able to, anyway. As soon as the young woman introduced herself at Julianna, or Queen (really, how conceited could someone become?), Harry/Henry jumped in with sarcastic remarks, laced with what was hatred on Henry's part.

When he warned Julianna to stay away from her, Valerie quirked a brow in surprise. Don't tell me ... She's insane, too, she thought bitterly. Are there no normal people in this school? Just how the Hell did I end up coming here again? Oh, that's right. grandma.

Valerie swallowed her cake and cleared her throat to regain Juliana and Harry'Henry's attentions. She calmly took a sip of her tea, then rose and straightened her dress. She let out a breath and took one in to calm her nerves, before fixing a cool gaze on the three.

"I haven't a clue as to what the animosity between you three occurred from, or was born out of, but in all honesty, I will make my own judgement on people. Harry, Henry, you two can't control who I choose to speak to, become friends with, or in total, choose to associate myself with. And Juliana, I would be grateful if you would please be a bit nicer to these two. They were my first friends here, after all. Also, if I am going to call you anything, it will not be Queen. Don't you think that's a bit conceited of you to think that you're the queen of everything. Honey, I'm terribly sorry to break it to you, but the universe doesn't not revolve around you. It doesn't revolve around anyone. Not even the Earth. I don't see how you managed to gain entry to this academy if you believe that. It was proven by Copernicus that the universe revolves around the Sun, not the Earth. So in all honesty, it is nowhere near circling around you," she said, her gaze slightly icy. "I don't know what you did to make my friend despise you so - for in the short time that I've known him, I've come to realize that he isn't the type of person to just not like people - but if you could be so kind as to apologize to him, then I do believe we can go on with our lives without any more anger and hatred," she said, lowering herself back into her chair. Without revealing the trembling she felt inside of her, she picked up her tea and, in a composed fashion, took a small sip of it.

Julianna opens her mouth to respond to Harry/Henry/Whichever's comment towards her, but only gets in a cursory glance before the new girl goes on a rant that even Julianna views as hypocritical and contradictory on every point. It takes quite a good deal to impress the Queen herself with jumping to conclusions, but this lovely little fresh-faced blonde seems to take the cake right off the batch. Thoroughly surprised by this display, the young woman cannot help but do anything other than burst into laughter at the sheer ridiculousness which she views in the little monologue given by the girl. In fact, she almost considers stealing away a line that she's heard somewhere or another, probably from Chess back when she used to pester Julianna constantly, about everyone being mad here. Oh, your a sharp one, aren't you, deary? Really up on the times, the girl thinks cheerfully as the young woman before her, who still hasn't actually properly introduced herself, apparently skipping over any sort of courtesy before getting to the scolding and nagging of a person whom she has never even been properly acquainted with. Even Julianna would at least give her name before such a scene, if only so that the person subjected to the speech would be able to recall it's giver (or have the slighest idea of who the speaker was, for that point). Julianna's hands are on her hips as she laughs, the sound not at all suiting her personality in its lightness, and it is a few moments before the giggles finally die down and she beams at the girl before her as one would at a child.

"Oh, my darling, you are precious, aren't you? Yes, I do believe that you will fit in right away with this school! I like you already, you know? How fascinating you are, dear. You don't have to call me queen, because I like you. You have this big head, and I do rather like big things. I like people who have spark and determination- it took both to cling onto the word queen for half of a monologue!" Whilst speaking, Julianna has been pouring herself a cup of tea, and takes a sip of it at that moment before continuing, the glitter in her eyes never leaving, both fascinating and dangerous all at once. "Where was I? Oh yes, singing your praises. You really should join the Gardening Club, darling! Stayne and Ana are nice, of course, but it is much more fun to have someone who always contradicts themselves, don't you think? Much more diversity- not going to judge me, but clearly doing so already- I love it! Love it, Love it, Love it! God, I could just eat you up. I'd discuss Italian Astronomers with you any day, sweetie- you are very bright, I suppose? Yes, of course. You must be to come into this school."

Julianna sets her tea down and sighs with pleasure, eyeing the girl before her with curiosity before leaning in and lifting the blonde's chin with her hand to force her, "One flaw, I'm afraid. Why would you ever want to live without anger and hatred? Little dove, they are perhaps the most important emotions in the world! After all, the world will end in fire~" the last part comes out in a sing-song, a sort of final testimony to her insanity by referencing Robert Frost, whose own son having committed suicide while his daughter, Irma, was committed to a mental hospital due to hereditary depression. As if to encompass the world, Julianna moves her hands in a grand, circular gesture that universally means 'all'. "But anyway, duckie, you never gave me your preferred name so that I could mock and reject it. Best be careful, love, or it could be off with your head" she says, serious for a moment before that disappeared with a wink and she began laughing again, mood heightened by the presence of a new person.

Oh, I just adore new people! So. . .new!

Andrew gazed down to the sketch of the dreaded Jabberwocky. Outlining the monster with his finger, bearly having time to snatch his hand away before Skyler slammed the book shut and put it away. He looked to the ground, listening to Skye's theory of how the new girl seemed to have brought on such a beast. "Well, it must have been a fluke. You needn't worry, stay calm. The other's might need to hear about this, but now might not be the best of times. Perhaps later. For now, have some tea, possibly a piece of cake?" Andrew patted Skye on the shoulder reassuringly, although he did hold fear himself. The game was truly horrible. Not even he could quite enjoy it.

As he walked away from a (hopefully) reassured Skye, something seemed to take over, and he realized he needed much more than a small pipe to deal with this newly presented information. He walked straight to his room, plucking up his large pipe. Now, normally Andrew only smoked this pipe in his room, but as said before he was possessed by something, so he waltzed right back down to the garden, placing his pipe on the table, somewhat proudly even. With a smile he stated rather loudly to no one in particular, "This just happens to be... well, I've yet to name it but it is indeed my pipe. The point is... Well, I've forgotten it. The effects of hookah I supposed." He chuckled, settling down in a chair, lighting up his pipe and picking up the tubing to inhale his smoke. He noticed, just across the table from him was in fact the new girl and the 'Queen' of hearts. He idly blew smoke towards them, half calling for their attention, and half trying to make shapes, which he swore he saw.

Looking with lidded eyes towards this 'Alice' person, the drugs already taking their effect, "I don't believe we've properly met, I'm Andrew Pillar. I'm known as Caterpillar to most. Now, if you don't mind me asking, who, are, you?" smoke blew from his lips in between every word. Without even bothering to wait for the Alice to respond, turning to Chelle. It was inevitable, of course, that he would turn to Chelle and engage with a conversation with her. They were too good of friends for that not to happen. "Chesh! I'm speaking with the new girl! Come over here. And bring Sebastian," he added, noting that the 'king' of hearts was speaking with Chelle, he turned back to Julianna, "You know, socialization would do your brother some good." With a smile, he took another long drag of his pipe.

"Meow, baby."

-

Chelle perked up at the sound of her name being called, her head whipping in the direction of the voice. "Ah, the Caterpillar calls," she snickered. She began to skip towards the table where Andrew sat, but turned back as she realized Sebastian hadn't been following her. "Well, come on then," she called to him, gesturing to the path before them. Figuring he would follow her this time, she continued on her way towards her friend, sitting on the table in front of him. She didn't like chairs very much- she found them pedestrian and downright uncomfortable.

She deftly snatched the pipe from Andrew and took a quick drag before handing it back, giving the Caterpillar a soft grin. "Ah, many thanks for allowing us into your garden, my Queen. Your generosity never ceases to surprise me. Good morning to you as well, Hatter. And this," she rose an eyebrow, running her eyes over Alice curiously. "must be the new student. Well, I'm Chelle. Chelle Cheshire. Pleasure to meet you, m'dear." Her eyes flickered around- being in the greenhouse wasn't her absolute favorite thing, though the view was beautiful and the air held a sweet scent. She wasn't too fond of the members of the Gardening Club, with the exception of Sebastian- the headswoman and the knight scared the daylights out of her, in all honesty.

She twitched slightly as the bell rang out, echoing through the Academy's campus. "Ah, it was bound to happen at some point. Shame it was before I got my tea," she pouted slightly, jumping off of the table and brushing herself off lightly. "Now, Andrew, what shall we do for the rest of the day?"

Valerie couldn't help the eye roll that she made. What a conceited, arrogant, pompous ninny! She sipped at her tea, barely controlling herself and remaining in her controlled state. Do not grow angry ... Do not become angered ... Do not yell, scream, or shout ... She barely managed to get through Julianna's little lecture without blowing a fuse, but when she finally stopped chattering away in her oddly-annoying yet in a strange way hypnotizing voice, it was more of a relief than it should have been.

She glanced up as a boy sat down near her and began to speak, introducing himself. When he puffed out the small from his cigarette, it traveled across to her and broke away in a circle on her face, causing her to cough and wave her hand before lowering the tea cup she held. "Why who am I? I'm Alice, of course. But I tend to go by the name of Valerie. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Caterpillar," she said, rising to give him a small curtsy. She then lowered herself back into her seat and turned her gaze to settle it on The Hatter.

"As for your earlier statement, I agree that the name Alice is quite lovely, but I despise it so. You would, too, if you meant to you what it means to me," she said, her eyes a bit darker with hidden sorrow. "And I am very happy now, thank you," she said, in an annoyed fashion, before turning to the girl who just randomly sat on the table.

They are all stark raving mad!

Valerie let out a breath and curtsied to the girl before sitting back down, not wanting to shake more hands then she already had today. "It's very nice to meet you, Miss Cheshire. My name is Alice, but please, call me Valerie," she said, offering her a kind smile. When the bell rang, she pushed herself up and stretched, a few joints popping, before smiling at everyone, even the 'Queen'. "Well, since you all have to return to class now, I suppose I will have nothing better to do than unpack my suitcases and then sit around for the rest of the day. That is, if the principal will return my things to me. I haven't a clue as to why he took them in the first place. It isn't like I'm a danger to anyone or myself," she said, obviously puzzled by this. She shrugged. "Oh well, I guess it just can't be helped," she added, finishing off her tea and setting it on the table. She turned from the small party and started in the direction of the gate of the garden, before she paused and looked over her shoulder at Julianna.

"Oh, and I suppose an answer to your earlier question about why I would like to live in a world without hatred and anger is long past due. It's quite simple, actually. Why live with hatred and anger to those around you that you truly do care about when life is so short and should be cherished?" she asked, tilting her head a bit to the side. She then flipped her hair a bit and started from the garden, picking her way carefully through it. Only, she realized too late that she must have made a wrong turn, for she had walked for only a few minutes before realizing she was completely and utterly lost. Again.

She stood in a small circle of bushes with a large apple tree in the center, which she now stood below, casting shadows all around her. The air had gone still and it was quiet, almost too quiet. The shadows seemed to move of their own accord, ominously, for there was no breeze. For no reason at all, she felt her heart leap into her throat, of nothing other then fear. In an attempt to calm herself, she lowered herself onto a bench underneath the tree, bouncing her leg as tears formed in her eyes. For some odd reason, she couldn't control what happened next. One moment, she was sitting there, just a bit afraid, and the next, she was crying.

"Oh, why did I ever have to go an agree to come to this stupid Academy?" she whispered, dropping her face into her hands. Her tears merely soaked into her skin and slipped between her fingers, dripping onto the grass below her. She swallowed back a sob as an old saying from when her mother was alive reentered her mind.

"It's good advice to stay where you are, until someone finds you," she whispered. Only, she added a part. "But who would ever look for me here?" she sniffled a little. Drawing her legs up and tucking her skirts down so that her dress still covered her and she wasn't indecent, she buried her face in her knees. "The people here are mad and I just want to go home. I told grandmother that I wasn't ready to go anywhere, not so soon after Amanda ..." she clutched her sister's locket in her hand, so hard that it left an indent in her palm. Reciting a quote she and her sister had lived by, she said it in a wobbly voice, thick with tears. "Fate made us sisters, but by choice we were best friends .. And you will always, always remain my sister ..."

"Oh, and I suppose an answer to your earlier question about why I would like to live in a world without hatred and anger is long past due. It's quite simple, actually. Why live with hatred and anger to those around you that you truly do care about when life is so short and should be cherished?" The new girl, apparently named Alice, answered Julianna's question in a way that did not satisfy the queen at all before walking off, her face looking slightly red. The response had served only to make the queen frown, not impressed by the answer, which she deemed as the sort of thing that one finds on a mass-produced greeting card and not very fun or original at all. She is about to complain about that fact when the white queen's brother, Skyler, suddenly runs in singing a nonsensical smile that for some reason makes the queen grin, for she finds it very interesting and very fun, things that of course tend to go hand in hand. It certainly distracted her from the Alice disappearing briefly, which meant that she wasn't going to follow the girl, probably for the best because she would likely berate her for crying in front of people- monarchs do not do such a thing, after all! Monarchs may never show anything but anger and joy, that is a rule number one which she gave to herself when she first decided that she wanted to rule. Of course, back then she hadn't known specifically what she wanted to rule, only that she wanted to be in control. While everyone else looked on in silence or murmured some form of curiosity, the queen only grinned, and quietly applauded when between the point when he finished the song and collapsed. After he collapsed, her eyes widened slightly before an eyebrow raised, "Well, he is funny. Who would have guessed, eh?" this is spoken to Anastasia, who is by now at her side. In fact, the only person missing from her side, and she doesn't count Sebastian because he kind of wanders around, is Stayne, which is quite strange indeed. Usually he is there in the morning to serve her breakfast before doing whatever it is he does, but the young man had been missing earlier this morning, something which she hadn't liked very much at all.

Of course, the moment she dwells on this is the moment when the boy in question appears beside her, clung to by the lingering scent of cigarettes and bowing formally. There we are. He is certainly a proper example of a good subject. The others should learn from him, she thinks, pleased by his calling her 'your highness'. Although she often instructs people to do so, it isn't very common that people actually do call her majesty or highness, and so the fact that Stayne and oftentimes Anastasia do gives her great satisfaction. She allows Anastasia to greet Stayne first before launching into fast paced words. "Oh, you just missed it Stayne- there is a new girl! She's awfully funny too, you really should meet her, I think she may actually be sane or some other rubbish! Isn't that remarkable? Oh, I absolutely love it! And she has a big head. I love big things! By the way, where were you this morning?" she asks, half demanding and half curious. The queen may be insufferably arrogant and somewhat cruel, but as long as the people around her are loyal and obedient, she isn't quite intolerable.
