Name: Belle
Age:23
Appearance:
Personality: Belle was once a sweet girl, willing to help anyone and everyone who needed it. After the tragic death of her lover, Beast, though, he regressed back into a state of repression and it eventually festered into a mental illness known as Schizophrenia. Unable to cope with her loneliness and insecurity issues, she began to hear the voices of people from her past that had died and formed the belief that those who killed her friends and family were still out to get her as well. This fear developed into paranoia, often seeing everyone around her as in liege with the killers, if not the killers themselves. This is exacerbated by the fact that she is in an institution in which she is actually surrounded by murderers. This fear and paranoia drives her to not only not trust anyone around her, but drives her to kill them all off as well. Her belief is that if she does not kill everyone around her first, they will try to kill her instead. To everyone else, she just appears to be the quite girl hiding in the corner talking to herself. Try to approach her, and she will stare at you, the voices in her head forming opinions about you, and then make accusations based on these opinions. She is also often seen bursting into tears for no reason over the belief that her family is still alive and well, just the people are holding her hostage to keep her from them. The voices she hears are manifestations of some of her dead family members that she believes are communicating through her thoughts through the magic mirror from Beast's castle. The voices in her head are as follows:
Beast: Her lover and the most violent of all the voices, as well as the most prominent. He is the one who mainly drives her to do the killing, often assuring her that he loves her and he is looking out for her while he does it. Lumiere: The butler (formerly the candlestick) and her best friend. He is the most sadistic of all the voices, often explaining how wonderful it would be to kill and how nicely the past killings went. Mrs. Potts: The maid (formerly the teapot) and her maternal figure. She is the only "good" voice in Belle's head, often reassuring Belle that everything is alright and there is nothing wrong with what shes doing whenever Belle has a meltdown.Chip: The maids son (formerly the tea cup) and the character Belle feels a maternal compulsion to protect. He is the paranoid voice, often saying how scary everyone around her is and how they make him feel nervous. He convinces her that the people around her are bad.Crimes - Reason for being Institutionalized: Belle is a paranoid schizophrenic bent on killing all those around her. She has successfully killed seven people and wounded two others.
History: One day after coming home from the market, Belle walked in to find the castle in shambles. Everyone in it, including her love Beast, had been brutally murdered and left to rot around the castle. Belle, distraught, ran to her room and cried for days. Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months until Belle left her room. Upon coming out, to the now rotting skeletons that were never removed from the castle, Belle had repressed all of her pain and anguish until it no longer existed. Her family was no longer dead, they were right here with her of course. Covered in blood and armed with a knife from the kitchen, Belle decided to go back out to the market. The voices yelled at her, screamed even, that the other shoppers were putting her in grave danger. She had to save herself, had to protect herself from these people. In a flurry of screaming and crying, Belle ran around slicing at all those she considered her assailants. When the police came, they grabbed the flailing Belle and brought her to Wonderland. She is now convinced that she has been kidnapped and is awaiting either death or a chance to escape to go back to the family she thinks is waiting for her at home.
