Tatsuda Kiho's Story

“Heh, your right. Terminator is a bit silly. Alright Robocop, let’s get past 301 and then let’s have a best of three match. I may be more metal than flesh, but this former athlete still has what it takes to hit a board with darts and win.” She chuckled as she grabbed a dart and played with it in her hand, twirling it around her fingers getting a good grasp of it.

While Aoi was enjoying a fruity drink, Tatsuda wondered how this would turn out. Going to be interesting playing darts, hopefully it won’t go through the damn board when she threw a dart. Getting adjusted to this super strength was going to be a challenge in itself.

After drinking half of her drink, Aoi took three of the darts and said: "Okay. Let's start." She threw a dart. It was slightly off center, but still only one point. "Damn." She said. On her second try, her view was like a targeting program and she hit dead center. "Oops. I didn't mean to do that. You know, use program targeting."

She did a third throw and got it into the triple area for twelve, totalling 36 points for that throw. "So, I guess I have 87 points." Aoi said.

Meanwhile back at the apartments, Kokoro Kizuri, the woman in the kimono who lives on the sixth floor had found out the three's cybermail addresses and sent out flyers to all three and sent them to their apartment mailboxes just in case.

Back at the bar, Aoi heard a ping as well as a voice saying: "Mail received." "Looks like someone sent me a message!" Aoi said. She saw the sender was Kokoro, the woman from the apartment complex. Inside the message was a flyer for a nightclub called Chrome. When activating the interactive flyer, Aoi could hear Kokoro's voice saying: "You are invited to join us at my nightclub named Chrome. It is an exclusive nightclub only for cyborgs. Every week we have two theme parties. Usually Saturdays we have "natural" nights where cyborgs can shed their artificial skins and get a paintjob in their desired color for the night and so that you don't look like robots in clothes when you leave, we have a machine that can reapply your skin, eventually with darker or lighter tone if you desire. Other theme parties can be costume parties, bodysuit night, tradition wear night or pyjama night. On all other nights, we request you to at least wear clean and decent clothing. Entry is only 15 credits and first drink is on the house. Our amenities include but arent limited to, free internet or cybernet, charging stations and free e-books on self-improvement, open-source knowledge databases and other cyborg related topics."

"Interesting." Aoi said. "It does however seem that she seems to be more than just proud to be a cyborg. I hope it isn't like an obsession of hers or that she doesn't look down on non-cyborgs. We can maybe check it out either afterwards or another night when Kali has the energy for it."

Watching Aoi throw the darts, she whistled as her first throw managed to nearly hit the center, being just slightly off, the next throw she hit the center but quickly apologized for using a...Targeting program? That stuff sounds like military grade stuff...To shoot down missiles. Not for walking around in normal life. Jeeze...And she wondered how safe letting people turn into machines was...Actually...She did not wonder, that just crossed her mind for the split second.


Regardless, after watching Aoi nearly get full points, Tatsuda grabbed three darts herself getting the feeling of playing darts back when she was not made of metal. "Gonna be hard to top that...But my aim is not drunk yet. Lets see if I can top it off." She gave a small chuckle as she aimed the dart at the board and carefully aimed it. She gave the dart a few experimental tosses, throwing her hand forward while keeping the dart in her hand to get a feel for her arm. Strong indeed...Like a natural throwing arm...


With that in mind, she aimed for the center and threw the dart, striking the board dead center and she grinned and clenched her fist. "Yeah!" She spoke, her inner athlete in her cheering her on. She still had it, of course the memories of the bar and friends were vacant, she still remembered that she was good at darts back then. With that, another two tosses and another two direct hits, relying on instinct and gut feeling for all those shots. "Jeeze, its like you point and throw and it lands where you want it. Arm has a killer throw." She commented.

Seconds after their game began, suddenly a voice rung in her head that she received some mail. After taking a bit longer than needed to open it up, she listened and read the mail. Of course...To her the party was not to her taste...It was really directed to cyborgs and definitely to those cyborgs that was viewing metal as superior to flesh...Not her style but if the others wanted to go...Then so be it.


"Yeah...Kinda creepy if you ask me. But if you guys wanna go I'll tag along. Its something to do after all." She replied with a shrug.

"Even if it seems kind of suspicious, I would say going there once should be harmless, plus we don't need to go to one of those bare metal parties. We'll just see if Kali is up for it later." Aoi said.

Aoi then took her turn again and got a total of 126 points. "Hmm, better than last round. Now I just need to make sure I don't mess up next round." She said.

(OOC: Should we skip over the games and have Aoi win best out of three while Tatsuda wins the 301 game?)

"I guess your right...Guess there's a lot of strange and new things we can do now with these bodies. Still...Nice shot again." Tatsuda nodded as she watched Aoi get a better score than last round. "I rather have normal parties anyways. Never been one for more exotic taste." She added as she threw more darts at the board scoring impressive hits. Going for instinct over calculations and targeting programs.


"Still hard to get used to the strength..." She threw her last dart which hit near the center.

As the game went on, Tatsuda won the 301 game but afterwards Aoi won the best out of three rounds game.

"That was fun. Should we head back to the apartments? I can then get started on my video game, while you guys get some rest. I should have a basic concept with a test field up by the morning." Aoi said to Tatsuda. She finished her drink and asked for the bill.

“Well, That was a good game. Well played Aoi.” Tatsuda nodded as they had finished their game of darts as Aoi herself reccomended going back to the apartments or their home for whoever knew how long they would stay there. “Yeah...I think that’s good for today. I could use some rest.” She replied before adding something. “But good luck on the game design. I’m certain you can get some interesting idea.”

After paying their drinks, they took one of the late trains back to the area where their apartments were at. "It was a great evening with you. Now get some rest, I will eventually have you guys test the beginnings of my game in the morning." Aoi said before heading to her apartment.

In her apartment, she laid down on the sofa and connected to a central database in her apartment. Her eyes first lit up red before turning an aqua blue. She began to code for her game. Thanks to the quantum processor in her head, time flew by a bit slower and she was able to think a lot faster and therefore code faster. Within an hour, she managed to code what a team of human programmers could do in a day and at the same time she was modelling objects and animations.

By the morning she had already modeled a city and coded most of the physics and some features. With this, the other will be able to create their own characters and explore a city. The city was a fantasy futuristic styled metropolis. Most of the technologies seemed to emit a blue glow and run on crystals. Last thing she had to do is create a means of the others to get into the game as players.

Taking the train back to the apartments, Tatsuda bid Aoi good night as she returned to her room and sprawled out on a bed. She did not need to charge like a phone near a wall everyday thank goodness...So at the very least this was a small comfort to lay down on a soft bed. She closed her eyes and began to rest her brain for the night. Day one was over...And so far it was good. So much strange things to get used to like being a woman, but like exercise you get used to it probably.

Aoi soon got done with the first session of game design also creating a means for testers to enter the game. She then sent a message to the others to come and test, including Kokoro. She guessed she would have a bit time to get cleaned and changed before the others came. So she got undressed and climbed into the shower. It rather sprayed from the sides and automatically scrubbed her artificial skin squeaky clean. After being dried off, she removed her face and cleaned the inside of her head, afterwards putting her face back on. It was something that was still a bit freaky to her but didn't really bug her too much.

She then put on her choker, a sleeveless white button down blouse and black lace trimmed bike shorts. Then she sat down on her sofa and waited.

Morning already? She felt well rested but what really woke her up was a message from Aoi to come test the game that she had worked on in the middle of the night. Getting up from her best, Tatsuda entered her shower and observed in fascination as it began to automatically clean her body. Woah, when did they get auto cleaning showers? This was new for her!

After washing up and drying herself, she did not do any cleaning inside since the thought never crossed her mind and got dresse once again. A pair of blue pants, simple green shirt along with a sweater before slipping on a pair of shoes and stepped outside. Now Aoi’s Room was...around here somewhere...And walking around for a short bit she found the correct room and knocked on the door.

Kali spent almost whole night walking towards home and sightseeing, which now she finds to be a mistake, tired and yawning she was at the moment, phone ringing shortly – surely a message it was.

She kept lying in the bed, feeling too heavy to move out, ironically. Few minutes passed and she slowly checked what message was sent to her. Aoi wanted to test game, information that woke up Kali a little, she finally got up, and went to pick clothes for today. Simple grey blouse and jeans, nothing more or less, once picking clothes was done, washing time came and lasted bit longer than anything else, even breakfast.

As time flew by she finally was out, in a hallway searching for Aoi’s room, and she stumbled upon Tatsuda.
“Hi, testing game, right” She asked before yawning again.

Kokoro was resting when she received a message from Aoi. After reading it, she immediately got up and got herself cleaned before slipping on a blue floral pattern kimono and a blue ribbon choker. She then headed up to Aoi's apartment and saw the others already waiting for the door to open. "Hey, good to see you again! Did you get my flyer?" Kokoro said.

But then the door opened. "Come on in!" Aoi said. "You can take a seat on the sofa. To log on into the game, you need to connect to the central mainframe of the apartment and activate an icon named Game_Alphatest_Player. You will be asked to make an user account and then you will immediately get into character creation mode. Once that is finished, you will arrive at the starting point of the game in a large city." She almost forgot to ask whether anyone wanted a drink. "By the way, does anyone need a drink? Water? Coffee? Tea?"

"Cool." Kokoro said. "I will have a coffee." To which Aoi made a coffee. Kokoro meanwhile sat down on the sofa and made an user account and began making a character.

Kali flinched at a sudden appearance of Kokoro, but before anything could be said about the flyers Aoi opened door, and invited them in. Once inside, she listened to what Aoi said about what they will have to do, and when asked about drinks…

“I’d like some water…” Unsure what to do after, she watched as Kokoro sat and began creating character, seeing that she decided to join in, and started creating her own character as well. She sat on sofa as well, her mind visibly in cloud.

Tatsuda soon entered Aoi’s room and nodded as she, Kali and Kokoro entered the room to see what Aoi concocted in the middle of the night. Of course before jumping straight into the testing, Aoi offered them all some drinks. Coffee, water...”Tea, I could go for some tea. Thanks Aoi.” She nodded and took a seat on the sofa.

Aoi poured some water for Kali and tea for Tatsuda and brought them their drinks. She then sat down to await them in game.

Kokoro modeled a character after herself and the graphics of the game were photorealistic. She then arrived in the in-game city where Aoi was already waiting. Aoi wore a while robe with a choker as if she was some kind of goddess. Theoretically she was the goddess of that virtual reality.

Kali had two concepts for character she could use, but not knowing what to expect she made a simple one, self. Once inside, she stared shortly at Kokoro, and then she stared at Aoi for longer, her face twisted for a second before putting a mask of calmness .

“You look…like what I really dislike.” She commented on Aoi’s godly looks, her voice bit nervous.

Tatsuda drank her tea down, being the last one to finish she entered the game last...And after fiddling around with trying to create the character since she was no gamer at all, it took her a bit longer than usual before she joined them in game with herself as the character. “Is it working?...I think it’s working...Jeeze this is something new, like being thrown in a pool when you don’t know how to swim!” She was actually surprised at this new thing.

"You dislike my clothing? I thought it was fitting as I am the creator of this realm. Well you are free to explore, however there arent many functions programmed in yet. You can just drive vehicles and use buildings so far. In the future, you may be able to take on different forms, transform, use weapons and so on." Aoi said.

Kali sighed, for it wasn’t just clothing.

“It’s more complicated than that, you present yourself as goddess, which is something I don’t like – an chronicler or old man would be better.” She chuckled, knowing that old man may now sound weird, or not.

Her stare drifted from one place to another, stopping on some sketchy buildings and unfinished graphically cars.

“Well, I don’t want to drive, and buildings look not too great…could I try editing them?”
